Im sorry if this is a dumb question but... who is James? I'm not caught up on new Inscryption lore and I am very confused aha

character revealed by the console ARG, heres the doc summary check it out

he is the character who is screaming inside the melter, he used to be mags old Ruby Mage student before he had him replaced by pike mage (whose name was just revealed to be Amber)

really old ask, but hey! yes! it's relevant!

so, uh oops. happy 4/27! i didn't finish my 4/27 thing in time but it's fine, i'll just post it later. however! i do have art of an old tsp inscryption au i never posted. i'm sure i have notes (and, if i recall, a story!) about it around in my head or written somewhere, but here it is!

the magicks scrybe, though named gambhorra'ta, is also a fusion of the essence of divine art - i thought it fitted, given gambhorra'ta is this terrible wizard while the essence of divine art is about, well, art and perfection

the curator was also meant to be the death scrybe but, because i dont have a curator design and never really designed her, she didn't have one made. sad :(

maybe i'll get back to it one of these days, same with psychic parable with how much i adored my narrator design for it, but who knows.. my tsp interest will just have to kick back in hfskj

I'm not reblogging more birds to hrokkall (whoops) but here's some hypothetical phoenix cards I made a few months back for a contest.

Its concept was pretty standard: only the adult form is obtainable, it has a hidden ability similar to the "frozen away" sigil where when it's killed via attack damage it dies and drops the secondary "chick" form in its place (which grows back into the adult after 1 turn on the board). Pretty much just a rare variant of the raven.

been having fun with custom inscryption cards btw. more fun info underneath the read more

custom sigil on strange drake is animal lover! when a card bearing this sigil is played you recieve a random card in your hand

the strange drake card is just my sona lol. hes a talking card youd find in the rares after the first boss, leshy would be like. ah i didnt know i put this here. its not very good for a rare i wouldnt take it and then the card is like I CAN FUCKING TALK??????

as for the emu, someone pointed out that every avian card has airborne, so i wanted to make some that didnt! tbh i think i couldve done a bit better for it but oh well. i plan to make a kiwi too, 1/2 statline, 1 blood cost, sprinter sigil. its supposed to be an alternative to the sparrow lol

im probablyy also gonna make a mosquito card, 1/1 stats, 1 blood, blood guzzler sigil, but i havent yet lol. you should send me ideas for inscryption cards... NOW !
