Love the canon/ Netflix version of Way of the House husband solely for the depiction of Miku. She’s a childless work woman and all she cares about is her Pretty Cure fandom and is basically clueless on housework. Which is okay Tatsu does everything to make sure she also has fun with that.
Will not shut up about Miku because she is literally me.
Also Masa is basically both of their boyfriends but mostly Tatsu’s.
To be clear every time I see the live action version I am immediately turned off by them having a daughter

hilarious/interesting concept: Buddy Daddies crossover with:
WAY OF THE HOUSEHUSBAND
Kazuki and Rei can run into Tatsu while shopping with Miri and he offers pointers in his... unique way (Rei and Kazuki are baffled by this guy but they know what he's talking about) Miri thinks Tatsu is cool (like Rei!) and he can help/force Rei to learn domestic tasks ("You're home all day, you might as well cook and clean!!" that kinda stuff). And Tatsu could babysit for them if needed! (I also think Miri and Miku would LOVE each other)
Also funny: Rei watching Tatsu and Kazuki talking about chores and wondering if there are two weirdos or if HE'S the weird one...
For angst: Tatsu is literally living the life Kazuki wanted. A happy life with his beautiful wife (no kids though), who he even met in a similar way(!!!) and but he gave up on the life of crime. and still has those things because of it.
(Maybe Tatsu and Miku would choose to think about kids because of Kazuki and Rei?)
