the fact that loid and yor cook together now is so endearing to me, they’re in domestic bliss

Ok I'm a spy x family fan and my brain has just been imagining Loid!Arsene and the absolute potential flavor of it. Do you think he would be cool in the spy x family setting? Wonder which lady would be yor in this case lmao...he would actually have to step up and be a responsible dad for once or risk failing his missions :P

Right so here's the thing, while Lupin is a very good thief, I do not think that necessarily translates to being a good spy. He's a very free-spirit, whatever to his whims type of guy... Not exactly the best for spy work or taking orders in general. He's just too much of a wildcard for a spy agency tbh... I was originally going to write a whole thing about how Lupin can maybe, possibly function in Loid's role and then! I had an epitome.

Lupin would not be Loid... He would be the Yor, who instead of being an assassin, leads a thief-double-life. Who would be the Loid then? Raymonde, who is canonically 100% composed in a dangerous situation and managed to land a clean shot on a moving target, at night! Give this woman a gun, she would've fucking destroyed Sholmès. She would be the responsible parent, who can cook and fight. THEN, Lupin would be the type crazy enough to marry someone who he just met, who proposes while running away from a grenade explosion AND teach their kid how to punch bullies. (Also he's probably not good at cooking, since he canonically almost always eats out at restaurants... Although if it's Raymonde, I think Lupin would 100% be down to try his best and malewife househusband for her.)

Point is, their personalities matches more if it's Loid!Raymonde and Yor!Lupin versus the other way around.

Joséphine would be good as the Nightfall-equivalent, but instead of going after Loid!Raymonde she'd be after Raoul/Lupin...? Idk how that would work, but whatever just roll with it.

Who's the kid? Joséphin and Marie-Thérèse from Last Love of Arsène Lupin maybe… and then Beautrelet is just There. He's not part of the family or anything but Lupin ropes him into the household and he sits at the dinner table with them and everything.

i got yor for the first one! olivier, my sxp s/i, starts off as loid’s coworker who he calls in to babysit anya on days he and yor are busy. but as time passes yor ends up bumping into olivier often and invites them over more and more. this also plays into them and loid meeting more as well, and eventually they start dating both of them.

olivier helps in teaching yor how to cook and bake! it’s an uphill battle, but yor is very dedicated, and olivier finds it very endearing. yor, on the other hand, teaches olivier some self defense techniques to bond with them. they also bond over mystery books and dramas, which they hold a little book club between the two of them to read books together.

and next is killer! finley is my op s/i, and they join the kid pirates as their doctor after kid is brought to them for a medical emergency. killer is the one who convinces them to join the crew, after he notices that they’re the only doctor who’s been able to put up with kid and get him to listen.

soon after they join, finley ends up bonding with killer over being some of the few responsible kid pirates, and essentially taking care of the crew. but they also grow to take care of each other, and that eventually blooms into love! killer also starts to take his helmet around finley too, showing that he trusts them even with the self he hides from others. i also imagine that kid probably gives finely the shovel talk, lol.
