I’ve realized something mages/witches/sorcerers/wizards/whatever you use to refer to people who cast spells They are basically all just a bunch of computer programmers think about it

Their spells are their code

The magic preformed is their programs (obviously)

Their wands/whatever they use are their computers/software

Their familiars are their “rubber ducks”
