Except make it Star Wars and each episode is a planet from the galaxy exploring the people, culture, animals, and geography of it. But... still narrate it like the Nat Geo Documentaries.

my opinion on td finalists
spoiler alert, im not a fan of most
TDI: Owen & Gwen
uh I personally don’t like either of these guys for finalists. gwen did do a lot but there were so many times where she just acted so apathetic I was like why?? are you still here?? and as for owen... I didnt like him as a character for a Long Time and he's growing on me but he just doesnt seem like finale material
I think a duncan versus leshawna finale would've been super fun to watch. especially if they teamed up to take down heather in the semifinal. those two had such a fun dynamic, especially in the triathlon episode, that I think taking it to the finale would've been fantastic. also leshawna deserved to win that season and you cannot change my mind
TDA: Duncan & Beth
duncan, while not my first choice, I can see making it through to the finale this season. but beth?? no. im sorry but shes just too much of a side character and is canonically fake nice and annoys everyone else so it doesn’t really make sense
an interesting finale would’ve been duncan versus courtney considering how volatile their relationship was this season. however, bc courtney was kinda awful to duncan, I dont think she deserves to win this season. it would be cool if there was one ending where their votes tied and they made up and decided to split the money but that just feels too tame, both for a finale and for their dynamic
harold versus duncan could be interesting, but because duncan tends to bully harold, I dont think his win would be fair in this situation. I think lindsay versus harold would be the best, as this season is about lindsay learning to take charge and come up with strategies, and while he can be off-putting and occasionally condescending, I think harold has a lot of useful skills that could really flourish in the finale
TDWT: Heather & Alejandro
while I dont ship them at all, I truly dont think there could've been a more satisfying final two. we’ve had their rivalry build up from day one, they have a ton of good songs together, it really completes heather’s arc of antagonist to antihero to protagonist. heather winning is the best ending in my mind, but I like alejandro winning too. the only problem I have with his ending is that it only happened because heather threw in the wrong dummy-- I think it would’ve been more clever for him to have switched them or something like that
ive been thinking about some other final twos that I think would be interesting, though unable to top the canon one imo. gwen versus courtney would be really cool because of the friends turned enemies thing-- I think it would be interesting for courtney to be put in danger and gwen has a choice of saving her or going for the money and she save courtney before apologizing again (maybe dumping duncan) and the two make up and split the money.
though I don’t really enjoy either as characters mostly due to their writing, cody and sierra would be an interesting final two. maybe cody finally stands up to sierra, or sierra struggles with wanting to be the winner of total drama or helping the boy she likes win. it definitely wouldn't be as good as the canon two but there would be a lot of clashing dynamics at play that'd be fun to explore
TDROTI: Lightning & Cameron
admittedly, I don’t remember too much from this season, but it really felt like these two kind of coasted by. I never found lightning to be a particularly compelling character and thought it weird how he suddenly went from dumb jock to evil jock in the last episode or two. cameron really felt like he was just carried through the season, similarly to beth, though I dont have as much as an issue with him winning. I dont think it was a bad finale, per se, I just think if those were the final two they should've been written better from the start
seeing as how jo really played the game and went all in, I think she would’ve been a great finalist. it would’ve been interesting to see her versus (commando?) zoey though im not the biggest zoey fan. I think a jo versus lightning finale could actually work (or brick) though if there was a jo versus cameron finale, I couldn't see him logically winning bc jo would just destroy him
TDAS: Mike & Zoey
*BIG FUCKING INHALE* no. just no. im probably not gonna say anything that’s not already been said so ill keep it short. bland, mal writing bad, have someone who's been in the game for 3 previous seasons instead of 1 make it to the ALL STARS FINALE. jfc.
you know what would’ve been an interesting finale? gwen versus courtney. they both said they wanted to reach the final two with the other one, so maybe they do! maybe they start to struggle with their friendship because of courtney’s competitive streak! maybe one of their helpers is duncan and that causes strife between them! maybe they become enemies again and don’t make up until the finale! maybe they decide to split the money! idk! it would've had a hell of a lot more flavor than what we got
TDPI: Shawn & Sky
I don’t really have an issue with either of these characters making it to the finale. they’re compelling, worked hard, and have distinct goals. I would’ve liked to see jasmine in the finale but I'd be cool replacing either one with her: jasmine and shawn having to compete against one another would be an interesting relationship hurdle and sky versus jasmine would've been cool because they’re both very athletic and it would’ve been the first f vs f total drama finale (we've had m vs f and m vs m but no all-girl finales...)
TDRR: Surfer Dudes & Police Cadets
Again, I don’t really have an issue with this finale. I really like how Sanders and MacArthur both work hard in their own ways and have to learn how to work together (MacArthur breaking Sanders’ arm and realizing that she can negatively affect her partner and also that Sanders is super tough was a GREAT arc). I know there’s been some contention about the Surfer Dudes being eliminated and then coming back so late in the game, but it made sense to me. They chose to lose because they felt that they owed it to Devin and Carrie, and that choice paid off when Devin and Carrie called in a replacement team. I doubt the surfers expected that to happen, they were just trying to be fair, but that kindness was rewarded in a big way which I think was sweet, especially considering how much of a hot mess this show can be.
I gotta say, this does kinda remind me of the TDI finale, with the villain (heather/ice dancers) getting eliminated third, and their rival (gwen/police cadets) making it to the finale with the fun guy (owen/surfer dudes). The reason I like the Surfer Dudes as finalists more than Owen is that I felt they put in more effort during challenges and had more of an arc (with Josee’s mind games ending up bonding them as a team after strife, choosing to be eliminated for the sake of fairness, etc).
Speaking of Owen, it’s kind of ironic that if I had to replace a team in the finale, I would replace the surfer dudes with the reality tv pros. they’re my favorite team and I think it wouldve been great for them to really live up to their name. I think it also would've been funny for the ice dancers to be so focused on their rivalry with the cadets that the pros just completely go under their radar until its the final three and the ice dancers are like “oh crap they’re PROS why haven't we been trying to destroy them??”
I also wouldn't mind replacing the surfer dudes with the sisters. I know emma gets a lot of hate (mostly because of nemma which I only like platonically) but I actually like her as a character (when she wasn’t being obsessive) and I think she and kitty were a great team that had a good arc of learning to work together. I also think it would be really interesting because for the final three they would all have rivalries with one another: the police cadets and the ice dancers (obvious) the ice dancers and the sisters (josee messed with them in at least 2 challenges) and the sister and the police cadets (kitty and macarthur’s game/road rage was hilarious)

“GUYS!!! Guys, guys, guys! I have a big problem!” I exclaimed as I hastily ran into the green room. Oh, this is bad, really bad. As I gather my breath, I looked to Justin and Harold. Both look up from their activity, Justin was taking selfies of himself and Harold was playing with his Yo-Yo. I think? I must have spooked Harold because he’s currently tied up by said Yo-Yo.
“What’s up, dude?” Harold questioned while I tried to untangle him.
“Okay, so you guys know how Tyler is having a wedding, right?”
Justin nodded knowingly. He wasn’t looking at me anymore and went back to his phone, I’m pretty sure he’s looking through filters. Harold looked confused, “Wait, what? I didn’t get an invite.” Oh.
“I’m sure it hasn’t reached your house yet,” I tried to reassure Harold, though he still looked skeptical. “You know me and Tyler are good friends, he texted me the news. And Justin probably heard it from Lindsay and Beth, they have those gossiping date thingies. Is it that right, Justin?” I raise my voice near the end to get the pretty boy’s attention.
Justin looks at us. I nod my head towards Harold and motion for Justin to agree. “Oh yeah, that. Yes.” Harold still looks sad.
“Hey, they probably just sent it to Leshawna thinking you guys live together. Take that as a compliment.”
I can see his face brighten and he mused, “Yeah, you’re right, I’ll talk to her about tonight. It’s date night.” He wiggled his eyebrows at me as I finished untangling him. Being completely honest, Tyler and Lindsay most likely just forgot to send him an invitation. Reminder to self to text Leshawna.
Justin looked sorta amused as he shook his hands up, “So what’s the big problem?” Harold headed to the couch. Great, I have both of my bandmates’ full attention. And I just realized Trent isn’t here yet… Oh well, he’ll have to wait.
“Okay so I maybe, sorta told, just kinda, perhaps havetoldSierrathatI’mbringingadatetothewedding.” I unintentionally closed my eyes and brace myself for their questions. But nothing comes? I opened my eyes to see two puzzled faces.
“Dude, what.” Justin blankly states.
I let out a deep breath, “Okay, Sierra texted me this morning and asked if I wanted to go to the wedding.” Justin looked bored and Harold.. looked Haroldly. “Guys! Like we go together like a date or something.” I started pacing around the room.
“And that’s bad because?” Justin countered.
“You don’t understand, I don’t want to go out with her. I don’t want to date her!”
“You act like I don’t asked out by tons of girls every day, just ghost her. Duh.” And... he’s back to his phone.
“I can’t. We’re both going to the wedding, duh!” I narrow my eyes at Justin. Also, I can’t ghost people. What? It makes me feel bad.
Harold stands between us, “Chill.” I soften my glare. Justin still looks annoyed, at least he’s still listening. “So what are you going to do?”
My eyes wander, “I told her I have a date already.”
Justin’s eyes widen and Harold turns to me so fast his glasses almost fall off, “WHAT!” Justin is (really badly) hiding his laughter. “Guys, that’s why I need your help!” I cry out. “Justin, you laughing doesn’t make me feel better.”
“Sorry but you dating? That’s hilarious.”
I can’t retort anything back because Trent finally gets here. “What’s hilarious?”
“Cody getting a date for Tyler and Lindsay’s wedding,” Justin explains smugly.
My face heats up, “Guyssss! This isn’t funny!” I’m getting so nervous my voice cracks. Great, more of a reason for Justin to make fun of me.
“Woah, what? You have a date for the wedding?” Trent looks at me questioningly as he sets down his guitar.
I plop on the couch and huff out, “No.” I put my hands in my face and sigh. Loudly. I can still hear Justin giggling. I hope Justin can tell I’m suFFERING!
“You need a date for the wedding?” I feel a weight next to me, Someone sat next to me. I crack my eyes opens, Harold got a chair from the other side of the room is now sitting in front of me while Justin is to my left, wiping tears from his eyes from all of his laughing. Jerk. Trent sat to my right, waiting for an answer.
“Yes, I need a date.”
“Oh.” He’s thinking. He has this thinking face where he pouts and his eyes are scanning the ceiling for some sort of answer. “What about Sierra? She likes you right?”
I lean back into the cushion and groan. “Sierra asked him out and he told Sierra he had a date so he doesn’t hurt her feelings.” Thank you, Harold. I always liked you the best.
“Dang.”
I stared at the ceiling tiles. “Maybe I don’t go to the wedding?” Ew, I hate the words I just said but maybe I should…
Trent bumps my shoulder, “Tyler is looking forward to seeing you and Lindsay loves you. You have to go.”
“Ugh, I hate that you’re right.”
He gives me a tense smile, “I’m sure there’s a website or app where you can hire a girlfriend for the day. Or days?” Right, he never talks about it but Tyler is super rich. He joined Total Drama for “fun” but stayed for Lindsay. His parents own a bunch of hotels, resorts, and cruises. Plus he’s an only child, so of course, they spoil him and make his wedding at some fancy resort in Dominican Republic or something. All their guests get to stay the week there. Man, I really want to go but I need a date. Please help me, gamer gods.
“I can’t. I told her I’ve been dating someone for a while and Sierra knows everything about me, she’ll know if I hire a date. I need someone I already know.”
“Why did you tell her that?” Justin smirked. I hate those perfect white teeth.
“I didn’t mean to, she just guessed so and I panicked and said yes. I’ll show you.” I reach for my phone, it dings. “It’s Sierra.”
Justin mumbles, “Speak of the devil and she shall appear.” Which, to be fair, is kinda true.
“She’s asking who my date is, hmmmmm.” I tell I’m busy with practice and silence my phone. I’ll deal with her later.
“So who can you ask, Noah? Y’all are friends, and I’m sure he’ll begrudgingly do it.” Trent contemplated.
Justin just had to add, “if you do all his work for a month.”
“Dude, not helping.”
“Thank you, Trent. At least someone is nice.” I look at Justin. He huffs at me, drama queen. “But that won’t work. I already asked him but he’s going with Alejandro.”
“Gosh. Noah and Alejandro, huh. Don’t they hate each other?” Harold chimed in.
“Yeah... their relationship is weird. They’re not official yet, so don’t tell anyone- I’m talking about you, Justin. Or I’ll tell you-know-who that you still like her.”
“Whatever,” he retorts. But I notice him putting his phone down, I’m glad I have some power over him.
“Okay so, Gwen?” Trent offers.
“Nope, she’s dating Zoey.”
“Beth?”
“Umm. No, that’s like dating myself but girl me. Plus she’s got that hot boyfriend.”
“Heather?”
“Pfft, how believable is that?” Justin blurted.
“Hey hey hey, if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all.” I ranted. I guess I can’t go, or tell her the truth. But I’d rather not go.
Harold gets a text, he takes a quick look and slightly pales. “Sierra is texting me? I never gave her my number…”
“Welcome to my world. So what does it say?”
“She wrote a whole essay. But it’s basically about she thinks one of us is dating you?”
“Ew.”
“Always the nicest, aren’t you Justin?”
Harold scrolls through the massive text, “Yeah, she said she had theories about a secret relationship in the group. She’s also crying because, and I quote, ‘the knowledge I possess is too hurtful and I have a Cody shaped hole in my heart.”
I look around to my bandmates, sure, I can’t choose Harold, but maybe one of the others will agree.
“Wait, forget I told you that last part, Sierra just asked me to not tell you. Oops.”
“Nevermind that, she might actually be onto something. Justin can you pleaseeeee pretend.”
He gave me a once over, “Like I’ll be seen with you, there will be photos of this wedding everywhere. No thanks.”
I knew that would happen, so I turned to Trent. I give him the biggest puppy eyes I can muster. He rubs the back of his neck, “Um... I don’t have a date, so sure?”
I jump up and give him a big hug, “Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!”
He gently pushes me off. “No prob… babe,” he says, stiffly. At least he’s trying. Justin winces at the poor attempt at a fake relationship.
“If this is really going to happen, you guys need lessons on dating,” Justin states confidently. “Meet at Cody’s place tonight at 5 for dinner and dating tips. And no, you don’t have to come, Harold.”
While Harold is relieved, I’m not. Noah has plans and I can’t have them over. “What about Trent’s? His place is way better.”
Justin looks at me judgingly. I sighed in defeat, “Noah has a date with Alejandro.”
“Yeah, let’s just go to my place.” Trent gives me a small nudge and smile before advising we actually practice. Tyler asked us to play a song at his wedding, we couldn’t say no. Well, Justin can, but he couldn’t say no to money.

I’m standing in front of Trent’s apartment, carrying an assortment of ingredients. At the end of practice, Trent told me he had no food at his place so I felt obliged to get him some. He’s going to pretend to be my boyfriend, getting him some food as a thank you gift seems reasonable. It’s also understood that I come over earlier so we can cook dinner, I think? This fake boyfriend stuff is hard.
I knock on his door and wait. After a minute I knock again, and the door quickly opened up to a tired Trent, “Sorry I was taking a nap.”
He’s hair is… everywhere. I give him a small smile and tap the top of my head. He gets what I’m trying to say and pats his hair down. It’s not fully fixed but it’s good enough. I give him a thumbs up and a wonky grin as he invites me inside.
Trent headed to the bathroom to work on his hair. “Where should I put the groceries?” I called out.
He stuck his head out and pointed to a small table on the edge of the living room. I set the bags on the table and pulled out one of the chairs. My chair was lopsided, I didn’t realize but I started to swaying slightly as I waited. Trent exited from the bathroom and went towards me. “Hey, what’d you get?”
“I got all the stuff to make some lasagna. Plus whatever else was on the list,” I told Trent as he unpacked the groceries. He picked up a tub of cookies and cream ice cream, looking amused. “It was on sale.” I mean if you were walking by your favorite ice cream and it was a 40% sale you would buy it too.
“Was this on sale too?” the other boy murmured as he held up a plastic container of rainbow sprinkles.
“Maybe…”
That made Trent chuckle. All in a day's work for the Codemister. We quickly put up items and started cooking. Not to brag but I'm a pretty good cook. Although Trent is better than me, so he’s in charge for the most part.
Before long me and Trent are waiting near the oven as the food cooks. The room fills with a nice aroma. Trent has this really sick record player and has a small collection of records. He has a bunch of random indie bands, some date way back, and a few classics. Some old jazzy music played softly as we tried to kill time. Trent was reading some article on his phone, like a loser. It was something about bees I think… I kind of zoned out because I was playing minecraft on my phone. I was hella stoked when minecraft got cool again.
Knock. Knock. Knock.
I look up to the sound coming from the door, I watch Trent’s backside already heading towards the front door. I watched Trent answer the door, before I know it I hear a small explosion. In those few seconds I was distracted, a creeper decided to show up and blow me up. Luckily, like the pro gamer I am, I’m still alive. I quickly save and close out of the app to greet the new guest, Justin.
“What’s for dinner?”
I point to the oven, “Lassaga!” Justin opens the door to the oven and looks on approvingly.
Trent collects a few plates and hands them to me, “Help me set up.” I place them on the small table and take a seat as Trent gathers cups, “What do you guys want to drink?”
Justin sat down as he responded, “Do you have sparkling water?” Trent turns around and rolls his eyes. “I’ll take that as a no, I’ll take a coke.”
“I’ll take water.” I like sodas but I can’t have a lot of them, it makes my tummy feel weird and gassy.
Trent comes back with drinks so now class is in session. Sometime between learning about Trent’s brothers and talking about my pet rat in great detail, I love my rat baby, dinner was served. And eaten fast. Justin wants to go to the main thing I dreaded, physical touch. Sierra is… nice and all but she’s way too touchy. Ever since I met Sierra I’ve been more and more closed in and rather not give physical affection to anyone. I mean other than my pet rat, but he likes to bite fingers so I don’t hold him too often. The most I do it give quick hugs, even the thought of handholding is nerve-racking.
Justin was going off on the importance of being comfortable with your significant other, “if you and your partner don’t look at ease with each other, no one is going to believe you. You got to really sell it. Since Sierra knows you guys have been dating for a few months she’ll expect some action. At least holding hands, it kinda makes sense if Cody doesn’t want to kiss yet.”
“Wait, what does that mean?”
“You’re a loser, you probably haven’t kissed anyone. Other than Sierra, she doesn’t count.” I feel my cheeks burn up, I hate that he’s right.
“So how should we become believable?” Trent speaks up, the only one with a brain cell.
“Easy, just hang out with each other. A lot. And hold hands or hug, stuff like that. Overall be comfortable in each other's space.”
I peep out, “What if I’m not comfortable?” I never really told my bandmates about my fear of touch but I guess now is as good as a time as any.
Justin, while he looked slightly sympathetic, overall he didn’t seem to care. “You’ll have to over it then. Just pretend it’s that episode where you guys face your fear.”
“Okay small problem, I didn’t get over my fear and exploded.”
“Gotta do better this time.” Justin is acting so pompous, ugh it’s so annoying.
I feel a light touch on my arm. I turn to see Trent giving me an encouraging smile. “Don’t worry buddy, we’ll take it slow.” I return the smile, I guess I can get over my fear with Trent.
Apparently, Justin hates it when couples call their partner ‘buddy’ or ‘pal’ or anything resembling that so Trent heard an earful from him. After Justin finished his rant, he promptly left and now me and Trent are cleaning up.

this is where i left off,, i don’t really want to finish it but i am happy with what i have so i hoped you enjoyed! idk how exactly how i would end it but trody becomes canon and they’re very cute and sierre realizes she’s a creep and stops and life is perfect :’)

CHAPTER 33
LORI
Did he want to break up with me? I thought suddenly. The thought felt like bomb went off in my body and there was hole where my heart once was. I looked up at Cody, meeting his sad eyes as he seemed to look right into my mind.
"Do you want to break up with me?" I asked, voice cracking with every word.
"No...no, Lori. I don't want to. I just want the best for you. I want you to be sure that this is what you want and that you are not settling for me because I'm the first guy to really give you any romantic attention. After seeing you with Miles last night, it really made me wonder if I am holding you back from something or someone who could be better for you. Kim told me all about Miles, yesterday. She was hoping you would give him a shot because according to her, you're the only one he has connected with and opened to. She said he was working up a nerve to ask you out. At the time, I felt bad for this kid, knowing you were with me and he would never get the chance to have you the way I have. Then I came home and saw what I saw. It was then that I realized, you deserve someone your age. You should be with someone who can show you off, brag about how beautiful and amazing you are, that can take you out in public without worrying who you might run into. You could be with someone who Kim can know about and go on double dates and have fun. You shouldn't have to suffer through secrets and lies just to be with me. You do not deserve to be hidden away like a bad secret from Kim. Maybe you should take some time, think about what I'm saying, and think about if this is truly what you want."
I was crying at this point. I wanted him to shut up and hold me, tell me he wants me and that no one else can have me. I hated this -- hated the fact that this was happening, and he wanted me to date other people instead of him. All just so I wouldn't have to hide and sneak around. But Cody was all I knew and wanted. I had never had any interest in a boy or man like I did him.
"I only want you," I said as tears streamed down my face, "I don't want to give anyone else a chance or whatever else you said. So what if we have to hide and sneak around. I know it's not ideal and that sometimes it sucks but it's worth it if it means I get to be with you. You're the one I look forward to seeing, hearing, touching every day. I have never felt this way towards another person. But you know what -- whatever. If you want to break up with me, just say so. Don't give me this shit," I stood up and made my way to the door, done with this conversation and needing to get away.
"Lori, that's not what I want, that's not what I'm trying to say..." he called after me as I walked out the door, wiping the tears from my eyes as I headed to my room, ignoring his attempt to quietly call out for me.
2 MONTHS LATER
I am now 6 months pregnant and I am carrying my baby well not hiding it like I used to I found last month what I was having which is a girl Kim is excited she has already started buying baby clothes I even heard that Cody is happy it’s a girl. Me and my mom was back on good terms but not my dad he still didn’t wanna talk to me so my mom had to sneak a little to talk to me.
Me and Cody haven’t spoken to each other over a month when he tried to speak to me but I shot him down and he haven’t said 2 words to me and to be honest I wish he would try again I would be lying if I said I didn’t miss him cause I do. But with Cody when I ran into him in the hall he looked different.
I hadn't noticed it that he looked like he hadn't slept in days and so depressed. I hoped it had nothing to do with our break-up. I realized then I hadn't really seen him closely since we broke up, he apparently been at work according to Kim. I never questioned it, but now I wondered if he really went to work or if he went away to keep distance between us.
Me and Miles started dating and right now we were almost halfway through the movie when we ran out of popcorn and Miles left to get more. I was zoned in on the movie when he returned and placed the popcorn between us again. I grabbed a handful and readjusted in my seat before I realized his arm was now around me. I turned my head to look at him, he was paying attention to the movie. I slowly sat back against his arm and leaned toward him to get comfortable. I guess this wasn't so bad, but it felt weird...but not like, a bad weird, just a different weird. This was going to take some getting used to. I turned back to the movie, wondering if I would ever get used to being with someone other than Cody.
The movie ended, and I sat in the theater with Miles, waiting for everyone to leave before us. Miles asked me what I thought of the movie and I told him how much I enjoyed it. He grinned, pleased with himself. He gave me a half hug as his arm was still around me. Finally, after waiting a few moments we stood and stumbled over popcorn containers and drink spills to leave.
"I had a good time tonight," I told Miles when we reached my Jeep. I leaned back against the driver side door.
"Yeah?" he asked, "I wasn't sure if it was too cheesy for a first date, typical dinner and a movie theme."
"Okay, the theme is a bit cheesy, but it works. I really enjoyed the food and the movie was awesome,"
"Great. I'm glad. So..." he trailed off.
"So?" I asked.
Miles leaned in toward me and placed his hands on my hips. I looked up at him, wondering if this was going where I thought it was going. We hadn't kissed since the night in the pool. I didn't think he would build up the nerve to do it again. I reached up to place my arms around his neck and gently pulled his head down to mine.
"So?" I whispered, wanting him to make the next move.
He took the hint and met my lips with his. He tasted like buttery popcorn was the first thought that went through my head. I wanted to laugh but managed to keep it to myself. His lips were soft, and his kisses were sweet and kind.
I waited and waited. We continued to kiss for a few more minutes before breaking apart. I looked up at Miles and his face showed he was happy with our kissing.
"I should probably head home," I gestured to the Jeep behind me.
"Oh, yeah. It is getting late. I'll see you tomorrow night," he kissed me once more before we parted ways.
I pulled up to the house the same time Kim did she was looking around just like I was there was at least 4 other cars in the driveway.
“Who’s here?”
“Cody’s friends most likely a very rowdy bunch, I’m not staying I need to drop my books off and change and get the hell out of there are you staying?”
“I'll just be in my room” we went walking in and the smell of hot wings and weed. Once we walked into the livingroom it was 4 guys 3 girls and Cody they was playing video games football video games and talking and laughing.
“KIDS ON THE HALL” a guy yelled and everyone looked at me and Kim.
“I’m not a kid dick neither is preggos over here and there’s no smoking in the house”
“Says who this is my house I make the rules run up stairs with yall”
“Don’t be rude hey Kim” a lady said walking to us hugging Kim.
“Hey Sarah, Sarah this is Lori, Lori this is Sarah”
“Hi”
“Hello, so your Lori nice to meet you” Sarah said and smacked Cody upside the head.
“Quit it bitch”
“You’re the bitch bitch I hate him if yall are hungry feel free to eat”
“No I ate already”
“Im going to change so I can go” Kim walked away leaving me standing there with Sarah who smiled at me like she knew me or something.
“Do we know each other?”
“Oh no I know about you Cody told me about yall you broke his little heart who knew he had one right”
“I did what?”
“Sarah leave that damn girl alone and come sit back down with me” I left the livingroom and went upstairs and stopped by Kim’s room and leaned on the door.
“What’s wrong huh? You haven’t been yourself in a while tell me”
"I don't know," I shook my head,rubbing my belly, "I think...,"
I stopped, what was I supposed to say? I couldn't tell her anything about Cody. I couldn't tell her that I was heartbroken. I needed time to come to terms with everything and figure out how to see and live with him every day without wishing we could turn back time. I hated how I felt, I wanted to simply disappear for a while. I wanted to go home. I wanted to talk to my mom and have her take the pain away, to make things better.
"I think I am homesick," I told her, it was slightly true. I did miss my mom. I would give anything to have her here and helping me. I couldn't tell her about Cody either, but I could pretend my issue is with another guy without her pushing me towards him like Kim would.
"Aww," Kim wrapped her arms around me, embracing me hard, "I'm sorry, Lori. I never thought you would be homesick. It never occurred to me. I have my brother, and he is here for you too, but he isn't your mom. Maybe you should call her," she suggested.
Maybe I should, I thought. I smiled at Kim and thanked her for the talk. She was a good best friend. I left her in her room, returning to my room to call my mom. I got a bit of a talking to when I told her the baby was a girl and why I didn’t tell her sooner but overall the conversation was good. I told her a bit about Miles, school, and how much I missed her. She told me she wished she could visit me, but money was tight. I understood but still wished the same thing.

TDA contestant rankings
Woo! I’m finally getting around to making my Total Drama Action contestant rankings list! Just as a reminder, these are all just my opinions and are not a definitive ranking for everyone. Every fan is entitled to their own opinion, so you don't have to agree with these. Also, I am going to ~try~ and make these SOLELY based on Total Drama Action, without taking any other season into account. Anyways, this season is not my absolute favorite, as it makes many characters so much different (and worse) than they were on the first season, so buckle up.
15. Geoff: Oh. my. god. This season really makes Geoff into a dislikable character doesn’t it? Let me start off by talking about his time on the show. He made out with Bridgette. Their relationship annoyed me. Done. Now onto his total change in character for the aftermath. I get that he was just doing “what the producers wanted”, but he turned from a semi-likable bro dude into a ratings hungry self centered fame monger. Its a complete shift in his character that is not super necessary, besides adding conflict into his and Bridgette’s relationship, and it makes his character completely different from his previous persona. Again, I am not using season 1 as a factor for my rankings, so Geoff is so low because of this. If anyone were to only watch TDA without prior knowledge from TDI, Geoff would seem like a hormonal prick that gets a slight redemption arc so that he and Bridgette can get back to making out again. So yeah, sorry, but apologizing after a complete negative shift in character doesn't make you likable, it just makes your girlfriend take you back. whoops.
14. Bridgette: Oh joy, another person who did practically nothing in the game, did not really keep many of her established character traits, and had very little personality in the show. woo. So I put Bridgette higher than Geoff because she was the voice of reason for many of the aftermath episodes when Geoff was acting so crazy, but she doesn't really act like the chill and happy surfer girl from season 1, so her personality for this season is...bland? Without season 1, Bridgette just really gets used as a side plot to advance her and Geoff’s relationship, which goes from them making out constantly, to them arguing intensely, to making out constantly...again. When introducing a conflict in 2 characters relationship, Both characters should change in some way once the conflict is resolved...but Bridgette doesn’t really hesitate in forgiving Geoff after he apologizes, which I guess fits with her chill surfer girl character, but without the background for her aversion of conflict and her willingness to argue with Geoff on the aftermath, it just doesn't make any sense for her to blindly forgive him. I mean your boyfriend just became obsessed with himself and his “brand” and was completely willing to hit people with a hammer, an anvil, and shocks of electricity that were probably fatal to get better ratings...but I mean he’s still cute I guess? So long rant short, Bridgette is totally done a disservice this season, and completely changes from a somewhat fleshed out character into a plot device so that her boyfriend can get an unnecessary character “arc”. Nice.
13. Owen: So what exactly did Owen contribute to this season besides a lot of bad fart jokes and an unnecessary sideplot that went absolutely nowhere? Yeah, that's what I thought. So Owen this season was pretty much just a walking punchline, so not much to say there. I mean everyone probably just remembers Owen as the guy who farts a lot and is...nice? Im not a huge Owen fan, and his “sabotages” weren’t really relevant to anything that happened in the game, so he was pretty much a flop for me this season. He did have a super cool hairstyle after he was probed though so that’s...something.
12. Izzy: This is the season where I start to dislike Izzy more, which kind of brings her down as a potential overall character in the show in my opinion. Sorry bout it. So the whole “e-scope” thing in this season is not super compelling to me, and didn't bring humor, or character development into Izzy’s character. The only thing it really did was allow her back into the competition, which was completely predictable after Chris changed her name on the sheet when she first got voted off. Also, the “explosivo” thing was not really my cup of tea. The only thing that redeems this plot of Izzy’s would be if they were to somehow tie this to her having a similar affliction that Mike has and having them work through their issues together, but I don't see that happening any time soon and that's not relevant to TDA, but I am trying to find a way to redeem Izzy from this in some way because I think that she has the potential to be an interesting character. Just not on this season.
11. Beth: Even though Beth made it to the final 2, and won in the version of the show that I watched on this re-watch (I prefer Duncan as the winner, but oh well), I still didn't really find her to be an interesting character, and I felt that she was on the season waayyy too long. There’s not much to say about Beth, except for that she was bland and nice with a little bit of personality that only really came out when she was mad at Heather or Courtney. I think that having a character like Beth make it so far in the game is one of the reasons so many people tend to dislike this season. Many of the underdeveloped/less interesting characters were the ones who were meant to carry the season, which some underdeveloped characters benefitted from, but most did not. All in all, the season ended up with a not so great final 4 and a pretty meh finale, even though they really played it up to be a huge deal. Beth is one of the characters that could have sat this season out and given her spot to a more intriguing less developed character from season 1, like Noah or Cody, or even a new character. All in all, I didn't love Beth this season, but she did make it pretty far in the game and was able to prove to the haterz that she really did have a hawt boyfriend so that was a nice moment...for her.
10. Justin: So Justin is another Beth-like character to me in the sense that he was underdeveloped in season 1, and then made into a major character in TDA that didn't really pay off. Justin’s storyline is basically that he looks hot so he can manipulate people, and then he gets injured and doesn't look as hot so nobody falls for his “strategies”. Yeah, what a great message to send to children. So other than that, Justin doesn't do much this season, but he did wear a nice frog head in the fairytale episode so that was pretty cool.
9. Trent: Trent was a partially interesting character this season, but most of it had to do with his relationship with Gwen, which didn't bring a whole lot to the show in general, as they were both booted too early to have any super major effects on the game (besides throwing competitions). The one thing I did like about Trent was that his undiagnosed OCD tendencies were not based on Gwen like Duncan said, but were more rooted in an actual significant event in his life. Other than that, Trent was not really necessary for the overall plot of the show and was really only needed for his relationship with Gwen. I think that Trent focused too much on Gwen and not enough on winning the game itself, so he couldn't do much for the show besides providing relationship drama that didn't impact the show too much. Plus, I still don't know what the facial hair on his chin is supposed to be.
8. Gwen: Okay so I'm not putting Gwen this low because I dislike her on this season, but I am putting her here because she didn't contribute much to the show and was mostly just focused on Trent and how he was throwing competitions for her. I do ship her and Trent more than her and Duncan, (I would prefer Gwen either alone or with a girl but whatevs) but she was almost more “obsessed” with whining about Trent and his attempts to impress her than she was with winning the show. I do feel like Gwen comes out of this season as a generally likable character, however she wasn’t in the season long enough and was not enough of a major player in the full context of the game for me to rank her any higher. Still luv her tho <3
7. Courtney: I wanted to put Courtney higher on this list, mainly for her relationship with Duncan, but the cheating in the game is what brought her down for me. I did not like that she had unfair advantages over the other competitors, and I would have much preferred to see her come back into the game to compete on equal playing fields with the other contestants. However, I am a huge Duncan x Courtney shipper, so this season was super fun for me to see their back and forth and the way they interact with each other in a kind of love hate relationship (rip this is the last season we really get that). So yeah, my opinion on Courtney this season can pretty much be summed up with this: cheating in the competition= bad, relationship with Duncan= good. Done.
6. DJ: Don’t get me wrong, I love DJ as much as the next person and would actually consider him one of my favorite contestants, but he wasn't on the show much this season, and most of the time he was on the show it was usually related to how he was cheating in the game by getting help from Chef. I actually did like this kind of pointless side plot because I feel like it almost humanizes DJ more and makes him a more likable character to watch, but still shows that he is flawed. So in the end, I did end up enjoying DJ over many of the other characters on this season, but he was eliminated pretty early and didn't do a whole lot in the game. But if he can get me some of that mama spice I might move him up to #1 because that stuff is like magic in a bottle.
5. Leshawna: Ok, who doesn't love Leshawna? I was alright with her this season, even though she did deserve more screen time, considering how far she made it, but this was by no means her best season. So I really enjoyed her relationship with Harold, which is more prominent in this season than most seasons, and it was super cute when she admitted to liking Harold on the aftermath. I did not enjoy the fact that her shit talking in the car during her reward got out, but that was mostly due to Courtney’s PDA and not really Leshawna’s fault. I also feel like she was smart for convincing her team to give her the reward so props to her for doing that. Anyways, Leshawna was pretty middle of the road for the most part this season, but she did provide some nice content and actually played the game to win, what a queen she is.
4. Lindsay: This season, I enjoyed Lindsay a lot and thought that she did much better in the competition when she could actually play her own game than doing Heather’s bidding. My favorite part about Lindsay this season was actually her recognition that she had been more of a follower than a leader, and her attempts to remedy that were at least “admiral” (haha see what I did there). So other than that I don't have a super great reason for putting Lindsay this high, other than the fact that she was at least more likeable and more visible than the other characters on this list in my opinion. I think that Lindsay is almost always an enjoyable character, and this season kept me firm in that belief.
3. Heather: As usual, Heather was a huge piece of this season that made it more enjoyable and interesting to watch. Being a villain, it can be hard to get people to actually root for you, but somehow Heather manages to be one of the nastiest people on the show and still be loved by the fandom. I think one of the huge factors in this is that she owns her villainy. If Heather went into the confessionals and tried to pretend that she was a super nice girl who always wanted the best for everyone, she would probably be much less popular with the fans, but instead she decides to make it clear that her mean girl attitude is intentional. I personally love this about Heather, and she is one of the main reasons I could actually get through this season. The story with her hair was also more humorous than the other stories that I think were meant to be funny but ended up being more annoying in the end. So yeah, Heather was an ice queen this season and totally owned it. And I continued to love it. What’s new.
2. Duncan: So I didn't think I would end up liking Duncan on this season as much as I did, but he actually really stood out to me as a good character and was one of this season’s main characters. I have always liked Duncan in some way, and he used to be one of my favorites as a kid, and I think this season is probably part of the reason why. He is one of the contestant whose primary focus throughout the season is to win, which I always enjoy in a character because its the supposed reason they are on the show in the first place. I admit, a big reason I liked him so much this season is because of his relationship with Courtney, as I do ship them (as stated before), and I really enjoy how Duncan clearly feels something for Courtney on this season, and his reaction when Courtney comes back on the show is indicative of how much of a hold she has on him (for this season). Unfortunately, this is the last season we really see Duncan as a more likable character, but I thought that he contributed a good amount of content to the show and made it ultimately more enjoyable for me to watch, so sorry if you hate him.
1. Harold: Okay so this season is literally one of the primary reasons that I absolutely LOVE Harold. In a season with very few real break out characters, Harold shines as a lovable protagonist that had too little screen-time in the first season, but shows more personality and skill at the game in the second season. Harold is one of the only characters that I find legitimately funny, and this season was no different, as many of his lines in the confessionals actually made me laugh. To be honest, I really think Harold deserved to win this season, as he was literally a focal point in every episode and brought the perfect mixture of nerdiness and charisma to his character that was not heavily portrayed before TDA. Harold is a prime example of how to flesh out a character without making them too overly prominent in a way that makes them annoying. It might just be me, but Harold is one of the most endearing characters to arise from this season and actually makes the viewer more excited to continue his story and see more of him in later seasons. Harold was robbed and should have been in Beth’s place in the final 2. Plus, he finally got to show Leshawna more of his mad skillz and was SUCH a king in the superhero competition as Captain Alberta. You go Harold.

Closing time- Gerard Way

It's the end of the day, I work a double shift which meant I've been here since five am and it's now ten pm and time to close, normally I would've gotten off at three but I filled in for my coworker James who happens to be sick, he went to the er last night from constant vomiting, our boss Paul said don't come in until you feel one hundred percent better. Right before I have to close up, a group of boys come in, straggly looken, the one who seems to be the leader of the group has red hair. Not wanting to tell them it's closing time I let them be
"Just take a seat boys, " I smile
"Is it closing time?" The red haired one asks, his voice is wow.
"Yeah but don't worry, I get lonely when I'm cleaning up so y'all can stay" I laugh "I have a few stuff left , so I can bring that out"
"Yours the best!" One says, he looks like the red headed one, maybe they're brothers, the group picks a table and settles in, I take the food I have left and set it on their table, I wipe my hands off on my apron
"What would you like to drink?" I ask, all but the red headed one wants water, he wants coffee I mid and go grab their drinks the coffee making so I take the water to them
"Thanks... Y/n" another one says
"No problem" I smile "now, I feel weird I don't who is who"
"Oh, that's Mikey and Gerard they're brothers, I'm Frank that's Ray, Bob, Matt and James" frank says
"Well nice to meet you boys, I'll be right back with your coffee" the quiet tap of my shoes being heard, I pour the coffee into a mug and take it back "also I'll discount y'all on the food"
They nod, I grab my cleaner and start cleaning off the tables, I put chair on top of the tables, and do whatever else I need too, yawning way to muc,ci go to the boys again
"Y'all doin ok?" I smile
"Yes this food is amazing" Mikey smiles, Gerard nudging him for having a mouth full, I giggle
"Do you always close?" Frank asks "how do you do it?"
"Twice a week yeah, I worked double today for a coworker" I say "not to bad sometime it's nice"
"Really?" Gerard asks, his voice I can't get over it, his hair is beautiful and he's just wow.
"Yeah it's pretty peaceful to close, but sometimes I get late comers and they keep me company while I clean" I say "anyways I better finish up"
I finish cleaning, I grab their dirty dishes and clean them all, they still hadn't left yet oh God they're planning on murdering me here for my boss to see. I hang my apron up and grab my bag and hoodie, I throw my hoodie on and head out if the break room they see me and stand up and leave too, I lock up the doors and start to walk off, I walk home. I live with a bunch of people cause I ran away. Only a couple girls. The guys are cruel a lot of the time
"Hey wait" Ray's voice shouts making me stop and turn round "are you walking home alone at the time?"
"I uh yeah it's not to far" I mutter
"Get in the car" Frank says, they all look at me expecting me to just jump right into the car, last time I went with strangers I staid and got beat up pretty badly.
"No I can't it's really not that far" I lie, it's pretty far maybe almost a good hour till I get home, I wave and walk away but before I can even leave the lot I'm picked up "put me the hell down! I don't even know you all!"
"Calm down we're not letting you walk this late" it was Gerard, he threw me over his shoulder my "something could happen to you"
"Nothing that probably hasn't already happened" I mutter, he sets me down and I reluctantly get in and so does he, Im between him and Frank I sigh and start to fidget the guys won't like this, I've been good but knowing that a bunch of random boys are bringing me home will cause problems.
I tell them my address and that's where we head, the radio blairing most of the music I like, before I know it, what would've taken me an hour on foot took thirty minutes by car, were at my place. I get out and thank them and run to the door stopping when I see Cody at the steps, they hadn't left yet and I didn't want them to see what was going to happen
"You're home early" he growls standing up "who are they?"
"Some friends from work Cody, they gave me a lift" I mutter "I got home before curfew"
"That you did, but those are boys I've never seen them at your work y/n" his voice getting louder, I'm mentally shaking and crying but that soon becomes reality when Cody grabs me by my hair
"They came in late when I was closing they're nice guys Cody" I whine at the pain "I'm sorry it won't happen again"
"Damn right it won't, get your fucking ass inside now! " He shouts, I barely look over my shoulder they're still here "now! Before I drag you in my your hair!"
I don't budge and that was a wrong choice, he violently grabs my arm, definitely leaving a bruise and drags me inside, I stand there for a minute. Before he starts yelling at me again, full on sobbing now, he slaps me hard. I go to my room and change into some PJs and lay down.

When I woke up, I got dressed, having to go for jeans and a t-shirt today because my dresses are dirty, I work from three to ten today, I grab my clothes and go into the bathroom to shower, I was right, he left a bruise on my arm, and ones barely forming on my cheek
I strip and get into the shower, scrubbing my body. I don't bother shaving because no one's ever seen my body, twenty years old and I'm living with a bunch of people who like to hit me. It's one, great that'll piss Cody and devin off, they have set rules for us girls. I'm the oldest so they're the harshest on me and I don't know why.
I braid my hair and go downstairs, a bowl of soup and a drink on the counwr, Devin standing next to it with his arms crossed
"You're up late y/n" he tssks "you know we don't like that"
"I'm sorry Devin I didn't mean too" I sigh "it won't happen again"
"Good, eat" he sets the bowl and drink on the table "work at three ? "
"Yes, and I close again tonight" I say "James is still sick so I have too for the next couple nights"
"This time don't fuck around " he says, Devin has always be the nicest, but the touchiest to me. He gropes me alot but never further I'm just waiting for that. I wonder off into my own world and I'm brought back when his lips touch my neck. With anyone else this would be pleasurable but for me I want to puke.
"Can I go early? I'll have a better pay check" I mutter
"Yeah, go get your shit and I'll be in the car" he says, I go get my stuff and brush my teeth and run to the car, we get to the restaurant I work at and i go to get out "no fucking around again"
"I know.." I sigh, he pulls me back and forcefully kisses me, when he pulls back I head inside my boss looking at me
"Y/n you're Early" he says, following me into the break room "why are you still with them"
"I have no where else to go.." I say
"They hurt you again" he sighs, Paul has been like a dad to me when we met and I got the job he looks out for me "you need to leave"
"Yeah I know, I can't though" I grab my apron and get to work
The day was busy and slow, people taking their sweet time ordering and staying here, but now it's time to clean up and close, the same guys from yesterday night came in, I sigh and start the coffee I hadn't put everything up so I have a lot more for them, I don't dare turn around right now. I knew it was them because I heard gerards voice. I go to the table I see them at and set down water and coffee, I was wrong it was just Frank and gerard.
"Hey what happened to your arm?" Frank asks
"Oh I ran into something this morning" I lie "I have more food tonight I'll bring it out"
"Wait a minute " gerard stops me fuck my life "what happened to your face? And your neck?"
"I uh, got into a fight This morning.." I lie
"You're lying." He says "you're being hurt at home, and that was That supposed to be there?"
"No." I say, I walk off and bring two plates out for the two that are here, I clean up, and do what exactly what I did yesterday night too, I clean their dishes. And walk out after them locking the doors. They try to offer me another ride
"Get in the car y/n" Frank says "seriously!"
"I can't! " I yell "I just can't okay. Drop it I can't have you take me home again."
I got home an hour later, I didn't get hit tonight. I went to my room and went to bed.

Today I took another double shift, it was chilly but I still had to walk because Devin and Cody both said don't wake them up at five am to drive me to work. When I got to the restaurant, I went in, Paul and wendy both came over to me Wendy had a cup of hot chocolate and Paul had some breakfast for me
"Thank you guys" I smile
"Yeah, your cheek looks worse " he says "we need to get you away"
"I know I know soon" I say, I eat my breakfast and drink my hot chocolate. An hour later we opened the doors, me and Wendy are laughing over something Paul did
"Hey stop laughing ladies!" He shouts dabbing the coffee off his pants "no bonus!"
We all laughed, Wendy and I both went and took some orders from tables, people love our breakfast, our cook Damian is the best!, We take the orders to him, and head back to get some more orders, before I can take my current tables order wendy stops me
"A group of boys are asking for you" she smiles, "I'll take this table, they're over by the doors"
"Thanks Wens" I smile and walk I know exactly who it is, when I get there I tell matt Ray and Bob to be quiet, and sneak up behind the other three I bend over the booth "hellooo"
Mikey and Frank both jump big time, Gerard just started laughing I started laughing too and go into their view, I smile at them all
"What's good here for breakfast?" Mikey asks
"Everything" I giggle "not kidding were the busiest in the mornings"
"Looks it" Gerard says "just give us the normal breakfast "
"Alrighty, drinks?"
"Coffee and juice" Ray says
"I'll be out with those drinks" I smile and walk away telling Damian to give me a catering size of pancakes, bacon sausage and eggs, I grab the coffee and juice and take it too then
"You know your cheek don't look to good" Frank says "does this always happen?"
"Only if I don't abide by they're rules" I say "don't worry I'm okay"
"If that's okay then yeah sure" Mikey says "are they family?"
"No but that's another story" I say " I've gotta get back to work"
As I walk off I ruffle Mikey's hair, I grab my tray and start giving out the orders to the right tables.
The morning went quickly, then the lunch rush came, Paul was walking around checking on people asking how the food is, they of course If like it and they do. The boys came in again for lunch Wendy and Paul laugh
"Back again?" I giggle, they nod and order drinks, I go grab the drinks,
"Y/n go ahead and take tour break two hours since you're closing" Paul says I smile and take my apron off I make myself a shake, the boys wave me over Wendy brought their food to them, I sat next to gerard.
"You need to eat more, I'll bring you your chicken sandwich"
"Thanks Wens" I say, Gerard puts his arm on the back of the seat "so why are y'all always coming back?"
"Good food" Ray says "and we think Gee here has the hots for you"
"Ray shut up" he says "you guys do have good food"
"Our cook is the best" I smile
"Can we ask what happened?" Ray asks pointing at my bruised cheek and my arm "if you don't want to tell us then dont"
"Oh well, I was hit and this was I uh" I start to think what I should say "I was grabbed by the arm"
"By?" Frank asks
"No one " I say "it's not important"
"Bull if someone lays a hand on you it is fucking important" Gerard says "no one should ever lay a hand on a woman"
"You know you can tell us" Mikey says "if anything we would want to help you"
"My house mates Cody did this my eye and arm Devin did that to my neck" I say "the night you guys dropped me off and yesterday"
"You live with two guys?" Frank says "why would they lay a hand on you"
"Me and a couple other girls, uhm if we don't listen and start screwing around this happens" I sigh "I ran away when I was fifteen that's where I ended up, I never want leave here at night so when you guys come in it gives me a stalling time"
"Then we should do that more often" Mikey nudges Gerard and he nods
"And out of that place" he says, I sigh and eat my food, we don't talk long.
I again close, they drive me but drop me off a couple blocks away and I walk the rest, when I reach the house I go in they ask who drove me I said no one I walked but I ran because I was cold. I went and changed and fell asleep.
