EPISODE 5……..🥺

Right off the bat, i love the idea of percy’s forehead peeking out of the water, like the mysterious mermaid he is

Annabeth was the best part of the episode as always

Thought they were gonna talk more about thalia percy parallels grover just looked a lil tad distressed and that was it but whatever

Percy and his lil ‘hi’s will never stop being funny

the usual “i thought annabeth was gonna punch me but she was actually nice to me guys who would’ve thought someone would be happy to see me” narrative still shining through WITH THE HUG PLS CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW SWEET THE HUG WAS

grover’s so confused like “literally an hour ago you guys hated each other….am i missing out on some plot point”

dude was ‘looking for new tickets in the st. Louis arch as if they were going to be on the floor lying somewhere💀

Percy’s face when he addresses grover after the hug, he’s so proud someone actually hugged him 🥹his face is just like “hey grover look SHE’S HUGGING ME🥺”

Can I just say the writing for percy is perfect

like he’s so 50% there like he’s so good at communicating and asking what’s wrong and trying to understand the other person’s feelings (sally jackson’s son for you) but at the same time he has NEVER had a friend before so he ends up embarrassing himself 😂😭

The real reason for grover to be so okay staying back is not the strategy of getting answers out of ares but because of how tired he was of taking care of annabeth and percy.

I feel like they should be showing luke more (later on they will, i have faith) im already forgetting about him it wont hit as hard if i dont remember him

Percy “ive not seen many movies since im broke” jackson x annabeth “ive never seen a movie since i live in a magical camp” chase

but the fact that annabeth’s never seen a movie kinda erases the fact that later on in hoo, annabeth talks about watching cheesy old romance movies with her father which kinda contributes to their dynamic but

the fact that percy would probably be the first one to take her to the movies makes me not care

honestly tho IM REALLY REALLY HOPING THAT THEIR FIRST MOVIE WONT BE THE ONE AT THE START OF BOTL I’d rage as much as annabeth when i see percy with rachel (not that im a rachel hater, im a circumstances hater)

grover is such a good therapist, like he is THE EMPATH. He tripped the god of war into talking about his life this is a grover appreciation post

annabeth zoning out with fascination at the mechanics and also i love the “percy being done with annabeth” representation

This is giving me too many feelings guys the lady she’s promising to save is the lady who will be the best mother figure who will singlehandedly heal her mommy issues AND BECOME HER MOTHER IN LAW

“Its warm” i thought this was gonna be the last thing he says before whatever was gonna happen to him so i was like lol famous last words

especially with the “im not…..” [okay] lol we have always known that percy, it aint a big surprise

i got to applaud leah for how she portrayed annabeth’s brain chemistry altering every minute with percy and how that influenced her speech with hephaestus

i cant believe thats leo’s dad hes giving santa claus i do like him tho

Now that i think about it the percabeth hug should have been after percy comes back to life not after the louis arch scene since they were just starting to have two minutes of chemistry there and have the “you dont have to feel bad about the hug” in the zebra truck scene

percy trying to intimidate ares lolllll walker scobell did his best to make it look real tho so good for him for not representing it as it was; a lil 12 year old child threatening a wrestler looking god of war

i feel like grover either is going to say the wrong person or he’s going to figure out it’s luke but something’s going to stop him from saying it out loud

or he’ll say it which causes some angst amongst the team who dont trust him cuz both annabeth and percy worship luke like there’s no tomorrow

the most specific outfit piece ive looked 4 was a leather harley davidson halter top which i found THIS YEAR after abt a year n 1/2 of watching ebay listings n waiting but usually i try not to focus too much on super duper specific items of clothing cuz ill get fixated n do nothing else BUT look 4 it ... most of what i like is just casual clothing, jeans, tank tops n shirts cuz i do literally 3 things: eat, sleep, thrash, repeat. kidding LOL but i really just like being comfy. i do have a couple pieces like my beloved harley top tht i bust out 4 parties n that sorta thing (wore it when i played my last show lol) but other than that ... i am kickin it in my dirty ass sneakers jeans n a tank top LOL !! i always always always keep my eyes peeled 4 things tht remind me of my favorite parts of fashion from the 70s n mid/late 2000s (well like. 2003-12 tbh its not exactly pure mid 2000s cuz of my love 4 jersey shore n their clothes) !! that being said. the top 3 like...pieces im always keeping an eye n an ear 2 the ground (ebay) 4: (read more cuz there r pics <3)

lowrise jeans w fun things on the back pockets / butt, like these super cute jeans from red pepper !!

i love love love the look of big patches on jeans esp in the back i feel like its so playful n fun n a little sexy !! i dont like highrise jeans which totally bums me out cuz most of the flares i find / see r high rise n i exclusively wear flared jeans LOL ... like i said most of my style is pretty casual i am not usually putting in a ton of effort 2 look put 2gether n cute n whatever literally i just throw on jeans n a shirt i got at a show n call it a day but having jeans tht hv exciting details like this get me thru life fr <3 my favorite pair r my flame flares which u cn kind of see in my avi but some better pics r below. i wore out th first pair of them (below) n had 2 make another one but they r literally like. iconic 4 me im almost never not wearing thm. wearing them rn even !

2. vintage band shirts 4 bands tht i cant/wont see in concert ... rn the shirt ive been lusting after is this dope ass etown concrete (BEST JERSEY HARDCORE BAND WILL FIGHT 2 DEATH ON THIS) shirt thats got fuckin mike "the situation" on the back n it says "JERSEY CORE" on the front in the jersey shore font. i am literally so obessed w it u dont get it ... im praying itll still b on ebay in a couple months so i cn get it 4 my bday cuz i am. not prepared 2 drop 124 on a fucking tshirt. yet. but i will. i am not sharing pics cuz i am very paranoid someone will buy it out from under me so i am #gatekeeping. i promise its sick as fuck tho

3. nearly anything thts sort of r bikerish whether tht b theyre vintage or reprinted harley davidson shirts (like my BELOVED "put something exciting between yr legs" tank top) or just from a brand thts demographic is bikers (anjill or not has some CUTE jeans tht im infatuated w!! look at these blinged out jeans like omggggg ... so sad theyre out of the ones w angel wings on the back but honestly idrc im sure theyll come back lol)

4. pretty much anything they were wearing on jersey shore ... ed hardy, rush couture, affliction, yoga pants, furry boots, shirts w obnoxious sayings on them ... great 4 daily life, 4 shows ... rush couture is my fav honestly, i like the tracksuits they hv on their site rn but hvnt bought one yet n honestly probably wont 4 a while from the state of my bank account 😭😭 oopsie! but anyway yeah ed hardys great n all but ppl charge wayyyy too much 4 those jeans n same w affliction its so . ugh !!

5. n speaking of things ppl overcharge 4 ... of course. juicy couture anything !!!!!!! ive been on the hunt 4 an (affordable! please god) hot pink juicy tracksuit like the kind paris had in the 2000s just 2 lay around the house in LOL but im also carefully watching out 4 a daydreamer or just any of their cute bags cuz i love purses but i am pretty picky abt my juicy cuz its SO expensive. kinda hv 2 b tho n its worth it 2 b

thts kind of all i can think of. usually when i pop in the thrifts i look 4 shit like belts or necklaces or rings tht i dig but i cant wear rings or jewelry very much anymore cuz im either 1) at school or work (no jewelry policy <\3) 2) at house parties/shows moshing 3) laying in my bed recovering LMFAO. i also love looking 4 cheap cowboy hats cuz i LOVE a cowboy hat n i usually always end up giving it away 2 someone at a party or a gig LOL currently all out of cowboy hats but im gonna get some in january probably . idk. need 2 save my money LOL !!

Heres a list of fantasy high characters as Mitski songs with explanations bc i love making myself sad and sorry if this seems all wonky im very bad at writing and this is mainly just me rambling on lol

Adine- Jobless Monday-I mainly chose this song for Adine in relation to her relationship with her parents and them being cruel and awful parents. With the lyrics “ He only loves me when theres a mean he means to end” I can see it as them only wanting to see her and be with her when shes the Oracle because if she isn’t there her family will be in more trouble and stuff

Fig- Goodbye My Danish Sweetheart- I think i related fig with this song after her like fear in the nightmare king forest when the personality she puts on is out and her actual self is like invisible and no one can see the actual her (srry if that wrong i haven’t watched that ep in a while). And especially with when shes with ayda and talks about how Ayda probably she probably has a different idea of what fig is like than she how actually is. Mainly the lyrics i relate to her is “ So i dont blame you if you want to bury me in your memory im not the girl i aught to be”

Ragh- Old Friend- I relate this song to Ragh for his relationship with Dane. Theres not a whole lot for me to explain with this one but thr lyrics that sum it up are “I havent told anyone just like we promised, have you?” And i always thought that fit for his and Danes relationship after he figured out he was gay and told Dane and also told him he had a crush on him.

For this one its more like a situation than specific characters but i still wanted to add it

When Tracker and Ayda got lost in the Nightmare Forest-I want you- I related this song to that whole situation because of these lyrics “you’re in the house and i am here in the car” Mainly because of how Kristen and Fig were on the floor of the can crying because Their girlfriends were lost in the forest and also being Ayda was actually in a house and Fig was also in a car

Fabian- I guess- I relate his to this one because of his relationship to his dad and how he had basically tried to live up to be a copy of him and when Bill died and Fabian went to Leviathan he was shown the hard way that he doesn’t need to be his fathers son and can be his own person. He didn’t have to be exactly like his dad. For lyrics i think this one fit the most “ I guess this is the end, I’ll have to learn to be someone else” And also “ Its been you and me since before i was me”

Sandra Lynn- Because Dreaming cost money sweetheart- To be honest i can give a full blown explanation except that i can just imagine this as her and fig relationship in a weird way and i cant really explain it except with these lyrics “ Darling play your violin We will manage some how” and “ Don’t dare regret anything Remember what you’re here for” Mainly i just could imagine her wanting to say something like this to fig but not being able to actually say it

Riz- Crack Baby- I think this one kinda fits with what Kalina was saying to his about how he’s constantly trying to work in cases and conspiracies to distract himself from having to confront the fact that his dad is dead and wont ever come back And the lyrics that fit with my idea is “ Both these twenty years trying to fill the void, Crack Baby you dont know what you want but you know that you but you know that you had it once and know you want it back”

Ok thats all for now my brain can think anymore But yeah sorry if this barely readable im so bad at explaining my ideas 😭

hi caly im back after reading moc41 and just... mind: blown. tears: none left. throat: sore after screaming into my pillow so much. emotional stability: basically gone from the amount of damage made in this chapter. but all that aside I STILL LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!

if theres one thing that saved me i’d say its probably all the san x y/n moments in 41 (tho ironically that joy is kinda short-lived aha :’) and also nightingale and soojin and LUCA now in the picture! i’m just manifesting more of their interactions once y/n comes back pls bring her back quick dear miss calyyy ㅠㅠㅠ

and also everyone probably already went batshit crazy at hongjoong while simultaneously sympathizing with the logic of his choices can’t hide that i’m one of them askwkzjs. again, i’m broken at how he went with the decision without the reluctance we all thought he would have, and it even seems like he’s eager to let her go if not for his guilt towards san. i guess hardly anybody would feel good when they’re being abandoned and deemed as less worthy, even if its by someone seemingly unimportant to them. i just wanna know if there’s any hope for y/n and hongjoong mending their relationship in the next act, or just any none-hateful moments? please i need them to be (somewhat) okay if yall wont choke each other sexually FINE just dont choke each other all together please askjwuwhshs 😭

and i cant even talk too much about wooyoung and yeosang it pains me and it even GETS WORSE OH MY GOD?!! but apart from that, i’m also super curious about the thing yeosang said to y/n too. i have a tiny theory basically about that part, but when i first read it i thought it sounds like y/n was part of the slave group wooyoung was in when yeosang was still prince??? like yeosang was somehow gonna choose y/n in that group, but ended up choosing wooyoung instead. or even if she wasn’t actually in the slave group it’s something about wooyoung beind chosen in y/n’s place, and yeosang already met her before she joined the crew. and y/n seemed so confused because she got brainwashed so she’s couldn’t remember all that (?)

overall ur a legend and this is a masterpiece as always caly, and it’s absolutely worth the wait. as angsty as this is gonna get i’m still really looking forward to the next chapters!! take your time and stay healthy bestie <3 — 🌊

anywho! im glad the y/n and san moments made it bearable and survivable! they had some good moments in the first half of the chapter :3 but don't worry we won't have to suffer for long pink promise!!!

you bring up a good point of hongjoong's choices and how it seems like his guilt towards san is the only reason he feels bad about his decision. i can't say that his decisions are gonna be made better or worse in the future, but there is a rather big reveal in the next chapter that will make the knife go a little deeper unfortunately :') is there any hope for y/n and hongjoong? it's too early to say really, we have such a long ways to go that i don't want to say anything without spoiling! we gotta go through some rough things to get to the better and happier things tho!!!

then... wooyoung and yeosang 😭 the most painful part for me as well tbh ahh yeah god damn !!! there's a lot to it and a lot in it and a lot of pain and layers of course! i can't say much but you are on the right track indeed with your theory and that's all i can say 🤐 but we have to remember that y/n lost her memories not once but twice! before joining the military and when jisung went in too! so there's definitely a lot of possibilities in there!!
