I've seen some content of Duke and Jason getting along really well, and ends up with Jason saying "I like this one." And I like that concept. For the beginning of their dynamic. But Jason and Duke have so much in common with each other that I think they would form a really close understanding of one another.

For one, a large part of what makes both of them the heroes that they became was the joker (and their mother). And even though the Joker had a more active role for Jason becoming red hood, and using his mother as bait; the joker toxin was what drove Duke's parents so insane his mom tried to kill him and got sent to Arkham. I forgot what exactly happens to duke's dad after the joker toxin, but he's either also in Arkham or died.

Both Duke and Jason have been characterized as very bright and book smart as children. And both founded separate illegal forces in their teens, Jason as a crime lord of basically an empire, and Duke helping lead the gang "we are Robin".

I love the "I like this kid" sentiment for the Duke and Jason dynamic, but I think it should lead to into how similar their stories are, and how there are common elements in two different heroes' stories. But even if there is never that look into their backstories side by side, seeing them interact more would also be nice.
