hey man. if youre complaining about the actors in the borderlands movie being "too old" for the roles. i wanna remind you that in the trailer alone, for a bl1 based movie, hyperion is branded yellow and white instead of red and black, tina is the same age shes supposed to be in 2, krieg has escaped hyperion when jack isnt even supposed to be ruling yet, and fuckin. mouthpiece from bl3 was there. just off the top of my head. i could find more lore inconsistencies if i tried

frankly i think the only issue with the casting is how many of them are zionists and the fact that theyre trying to make roland a comedic character played by kevin hart when hes supposed to be the straight man. like. come on. roland is the only even slightly normal one out of the first games vault hunters (i really dont care that much at the end of the day, thats just my main gripe besides the zionism)

might be a hot take but god it pisses me off so much that every wlw show ive watched thats been canceled had an INCREDIBLE plot aside from the romance. like time travel or uncontrollable telekinesis or a fucked up social experiment of a staged plane crash. all very interesting stories and the wlw romance is a bonus and they still get canceled.

but literally nothing else has to happen for a mlm show to break records. nothing happens in shows like heartstopper. its JUST a high school romance. yes theres some wlw and i know people will argue that the focus on just high school is why they like it but it pisses me off how well they do compared to incredibly elaborate and brilliant stories that also have wlw romance. and they do well ENTIRELY bc its mlm.

and its because straight people (specifically straight girls) love mlm stories so shows like heartstopper get the straight audience AND the gay audience but no straight people care about wlw fiction like that. so every wlw show gets a smaller audience because its just a gay audience watching, and it leads to it being canceled every fucking time.

#people might get mad at me for bitching about heartstopper i know its cute and cheesy and harmless but god it drives me crazy how well shows #like that do compared to wlw shows which in my opinion are SO much more interesting plot wise #straight girls will see any mlm show and lose their shit so its so easy for those shows to be successful #stranger things might actually be the first show ive watched with a future wlw couple that didnt get canceled #and this is one of the main reasons why i love byler so much bc its a part of such a bigger story #and i think thats a huge reason why the majority of people who love byler are queer unlike a lot of other popular mlm ships #im furious rn #im tagging byler bc youre all gay #byler #paper girls

tending to find the interpretations page on this might be a wiki a bit dull bc it looks like a lot of people jump to death/drugs/afterlife/etc kind of interpretations when i think the johns are fairly clear when their songs are about that kind of thing! but also i really want people to play in a more fantastical surreal space and accept that the songs sometimes draw a picture of a world that makes no fuckin sense because sometimes real life makes no fuckin sense, and that's like. fine!! not every weird sentence is said by someone on drugs!!
