Semi-Summary

Alfons greets Kate in a back alley saying that it’s been a while since they’ve seen each other, and asks how she’s been. It’s been a few days since she’s seen him, and he has an indifferent look on his face that makes her feel disgusted. She tells him that it’s been a peaceful few days since he hasn’t been around to mess with her. He laughs and says that’s boring, but promises that tonight will be exciting. Kate raises her voice asking Alfons how he takes that as her saying she needs excitement, which causes Ellis to shush her gently, and Alfons joins in with Ellis in agreement as if he wasn’t the one instigating her. Quieting her mind and reminding herself that she is the Fairytale Keeper, she refocuses on their mission.
She, Ellis and Alfons were on a stake out about a sort of street crime. They hunker down in the alley in a single file line, with Ellis being in the front and Alfons behind her. It’s so dark, they can’t help but to as close to each other as possible in order to see the other person. The scent of various perfurmes from Alfons waft into Kate’s nostrils and make her restless, and she reminds herself to concentrate. Looking ahead the dimly lit street is filled with several people - small children emaciated men, most of them with out homes, sleeping or just walking around - and it hurts Kate to see these people suffering in the shadows while England boasts it’s age of prosperity.
She recognizes that though the country has enough wealth to share, life is not equal.
The disgust she felt when she saw the pile of black corpses from previous chapters rise within her, and a feeling of neither sadness or bitterness filled her heart. This is when she realizes that since that initial incident, she had been so preoccupied with Alfons, that she didn’t properly have time to think about it, even though her heart is lighter feeling because of it. She decides that her heart must’ve drifted towards the easier way out.
Alfons: Kate.
Kate: …!?
Alfons calls her name from behind her and she recalls their feverish night. He had called her name many times that name when she was under the suggestion of being his lover.
Alfons: Haha, that’s a cute response.
Kate: I’ve got a lot to think about…..please don’t interrupt me.
Alfons: That’s why I interrupted you. So that you would think of me.
Kate:…..?
Alfons: There are a lot of things in this world that you can’t control, even if you face them squarely.
Alfons: Don’t you think it’s ridiculous to take single one of those things seriously, and get hurt?
Kate recalls that she’s been told something similar before.
FLASHBACK TO DINING ROOM BREAKFAST SCENE
Alfons: Well, you don’t need to know about such troublesome things.
Alfons: It doesn’t matter.
Alfons: Miss Kate, are you sure? You want to hide this.
FLASH BACK TO KITCHEN SCENE
Alfons: It’s better to be occupied with what feels good and pleasurable.
Alfons: Keep up the good work and keep your mind occupied on me.
FLASH BACK ENDS
(Only when I’m down in the dumps, worrying about this and that, does he start messing around me with me.)
Kate’s thoughts stop at this like she’s stumbled over a stone.
(Huh...but, I wonder why he keeps messing with me at the same time….?)
Ellis interrupts her thoughts by calling them both with a raised voice, ignoring the dispute behind him. Kate turns her face away from Alfons and back to the street. The screen jolts as someone says, “April Fools”, and the voice is accompanied by something spilling out onto the street. Several men in black cloaks are on the street who start to attack the slum dwellers, and a bizarre chase begins. It’s almost like they are hunting, swinging their weapons at the unarmed people. Kate is frozen as she describes it as something from literal hell.
Alfons: Hmm, it’s all rather frenzied.
Alfons: This is more of a massacre than a street riot.
Kate: How can you stay so calm?
Alfons: It’s a common sight on missions.
Ellis: Al & I will take them all into custody, you stay here Kate.
Ellis soon leaves them and Kate’s body begins to shake when she thinks about being left alone, even though she knows she should be. She tries to tell herself that she won’t be able to record their sins if she can’t look at them properly.
Alfons: Ahhhh, you poor thing.
Alfons’ hand touches the nape of her neck and tells her that what she is seeing is a play, and his voice flows through her mind like an eroding stream.
Alfons: That bright red thing is bloodstain.
Alfons: Tonight, it’s me and Ellis, and we’ve come to see a play.
Alfons: You will enjoy the breathless action in this seat….until we return.
Kate was in the theater when she was stuck with a floating sensation.
(I’ve never seen such an amazing performance…..)
The bloodbath that continued to unfold before her eyes was captivating. The blood spatter, the flying pieces of flesh, and even their expressions of anguish on the verge of death - they’re all very unlike a play. Alfons approaches and says that he’s off while she’s still mesmerized by the stage, and Kate tells him to go ahead. But going where? She came to see the play with him, didn’t she? When they look each other in the eyes, he tells her to kiss him and give him a lover’s pep talk.
(That’s right……Alfons and I are lovers.)
Kate: Yes, of course.
She offers a kiss on the lips with a smile as if she were seeing her lover off.
Kate: Mmmm…..
After their lips touch each other, he removes his hand from her nape. The stage floor was so soaked with blood that it was unrecognizable. When she sees that Alfons is going onto the stage too, she thinks it’s great at first, and then she notices Ellis on stage touching the heads of the targets and binding them. That’s when she sees that just a word from Alfons could cause a flurry of people to fall down as well.
Kate: And yet…..
Kate: It’s a very, very realistic play.
Even though she knew it was all an act the shrieks of the people made her heart shrink back, with fear and anxiety, her heart was beating very fast. When a knife almost grazed Alfons, she felt a chill crawl down her spine, even though it happened on a stage.
(I like to watch plays….)
(This one time……l hope it’s over soon.)
(I’m so scared….I don’t even want to look at it.)
(…..I’ve never thought this about a play before.)
(But why did I have to go to a play with you two tonight….?)
A sudden feeling of discomfort washes over her, and she squeezes at her heart over her clothes.
Alfons: Kate.
Kate: !
The boys come back to her and Alfons asks her, “How was our play?” Ellis is surprised and then says, “Oh, I see,” and plays along and asks her the same question. She says it was amazing, but she tells them that her heart felt crushed by anxiety. She couldn’t help but hug Alfons tightly to make sure her boyfriend was safe, which surprises his dumbass for some reason. Kate feels relieved, once she feels his heart beat and as she was about to let go of Alfons, he puts his arm around her.
Alfons: I apologize for any concern this may have caused you.
Alfons: …..I’ll stay by your side tonight, until you feel safe.
Premium Story:
After the blood soaked play, Alfons escorts Kate back to her room, but on the way back she’s struck with a strange sensation. She remembers passing through a street she’s unfamiliar with and she can’t figure out why she went to see a play with Ellis and Alfons. Back in the room, she finally breaks down and then asks Alfons, if what she watched was really a play or not. As soon as she asks, a thought popped into her head about the blood not being fake like stage play blood.
Alfons: Have you awakened already?
Alfons: You have a surprisingly stronger ego than I expected.
Kate: It was real.
When she realizes that not only she peacefully watched people die, but also almost Alfons being harmed, she was so shocked that she was speechless. She recalls the uncomfortable thoughts she had as she watched the play and the things she heard. Closing her eyes and covering her ears, Alfons embraces her warmly as if scooping her out of the cold darkness.
Alfons: It’s not your fault. It’s my fault isn’t it?
Kate: But I didn’t think anything of it.
Alfons: No ordinary person could imagine such a scene unless it was fiction.
Alfons: Likewise, I thought it would be entertaining to make it fiction.
Kate: …..
Kate remembers that she thought it was like play, and that she even applauded even though someone had died right in front of her. His voice filled with pity when he spoke to her.
Alfons: You really, really want to look at reality to the point of stupidity.
Kate: Because….If I don’t look….
Alfons: Is it because of your role as fairytale keeper?
Alfons: Isn’t it crappy to get a job because you were involved in an accident?
Kate thinks about how her life hangs in the balance if she doesn’t work properly, but she asks Alfons…
Kate: That’s not all,…. If you don’t look at reality properly, you won’t realize what’s important, will you?
Alfons: Such as?
Kate: Like, why are all those terrible things happening….
Alfons: You wouldn’t know that by observing a crime scene.
Kate: Is there anyone still breathing….who can be helped….!
Alfons: Haha, you’re going to save someone in that situation? You’ll just die as collateral damage.
Kate: But…..if you or Ellis had been stabbed…..I
Kate: Thinking of that as a play……I could’ve been there to help!
Alfons: ……
Kate: Isn’t that kind of scary….?
A rush of emotion begins to blur Kate’s vision not knowing if it was because of the fear of the scene or because she was alone protected by an illusion. Alfons gently strokes her hair just as a true lover would do.
Alfons: You’re too soft and vulnerable and yet….to try to face reality instead of running away…
Alfons: ….You’re an idiot, my dear.
Alfons: When I see someone that stupid, I can’t help but want to coddle them.
He touches her nape and tells her to come play with him for the night, calling her his little sweetheart. A pleasant sensation fills her body and her thoughts are drowned out by his voice as he tells her that he’s fine, alive and well. He tells her not to look so greedy, because he isn’t going to let things end with a child’s kiss and for her to open her mouth. He pokes her lips with his fingertips as he whispers.
Alfons: Don’t be shy…
Kate: Mmmm….ahhh….
She opens her mouth and his wet tongue slips inside.
Kate: Mm…..ah…..nnn….
Alfons: I like the way you kiss.
They deeply entwine their tongues and melt into the sense of debauchery. All the while Kate feels like she’s forgotten something important, but before she knew it, they were sinking into her bed. All she could think about was her lover in front of her.
Kate: Al…fons…I- my body is hot.
Alfons: …..Body, where?
Kate: ….You know what I’m talking about, don’t ask.
Alfons: I don’t like that….

He kisses her cheek, calls her a greedy one, and then brings his mouth to her breast to suck her nipple which makes her flinch and moan. As his tongue kept teasing that part, her body lit up inside. His fingers slowly trace along the inside of her thighs, until they shift under her underwear and stroke her muddied spot several times until he slowly enters her. He pumps his finger inside her sweetly as she tightens up around him. He tells her to loosen up because he was going to make her feel good, to which he starts thrusting his fingers intensely. His finger stroke her insides making her go wild. He laughs and asks if his fingers aren’t enough for her? Embarrassed at her own naughtiness, all she can do is nod her head yes.
He laughs and asks if she’s sure since he doesn’t mind making her cum with his fingers. She’s basically begging at this point without saying anything, and so he removes his fingers from her, removes his clothes and then says to her, “Let’s get so messy, we’ll forget everything.”
He sinks more deeply into her than his fingers did, and she moans as she clings to his back as he thrusts into her. And all she can think of is drowning in his love because the arms that hold her are so gentle, and because the pitying, compassionate look in his eyes is somehow comforting to her.

The dark night was my friend, and death was myself.
I will walk, walk and walk in the dark again today.
And suddenly, I look back.
See, there lies a blood-soaked, happy face of death.
Kate: Victor, Harrison lent me a book the other day. So.........
I handle my responsibilities/job, while Kate takes on the role of a storyteller.
Listening to Kate's stories while working together in the office is becoming a part of my daily routine.
(......You look like you’re having fun. Kate has become a full-fledged member of the Crown, hasn't she?)
Kate: Yes, that's right. It's about Marianne, the maid we discussed the other day.
Victor: Oh, in that case, give her some time off. It's important for her to meet her lover who is far away.
When I conveyed that the matter we discussed has been resolved, she blinked her eyes in surprise.
Kate: Victor, when do you sleep…?
Victor: When?

There's a story going around about a group that worships Her Majesty the Queen, essentially treating her as a deity.
(People are free to believe in what they want. We, as the Crown, have no right to condemn that. However..)
It appears that this organization kidnaps and imprisons women as idols, and if they are not considered worthy vessels for Her Majesty, they are killed.

Victor: Tonight, we will proceed with the investigation, and if they are found guilty, we will deliver judgment in the name of evil.

Kate: ...Committing murder in the name of their worship.
Victor: Kate, there's a possibility that this mission might not be pleasant for you either. So--
Before I could finish my sentence, Kate responded with a determined look in her eyes.
Kate: Victor, would you allow me to accompany you as a storyteller?
Believing that above all, we should respect her will, that night, we infiltrated the organization's stronghold.
William: Belongings of the missing, bloodstains, and then a body was discovered. There's no way to deny it.

Victor: I'll go to the basement with Kate. Let's head there immediately to prevent further victims.
Kate: Yes...
William: Victor, how much mercy tonight?
Victor: None needed. Their actions deserve condemnation. Loyalty to your wickedness, William.
Kate, I didn't want to show her too much of the horrific scene, praying that this wasn't the 'right' place…
(Ah, I see. It seems like the basement is the 'right' place.)
In the basement, there was an altar-like structure with flickering candlelight. People wearing masquerade-like masks surrounded the altar, and at its center lay a young girl who seemed barely of age.
(So, that's the 'replacement' for the queen. ...Truly grotesque.)
I noticed a man attempting to lower a candle onto the girl's arm, and without hesitation, I took a step forward.
However, Kate moved before me.
Kate: ............no, stop!
The red-haired man with a mask: W-who is this girl! Let go, let go...
Kate: Please stay away from her!... Kyaa!
It happened in an instant, and Kate, who was pushed away, collided with the altar and collapsed on the spot.
Victor: Kate...? Kate...?
(It's okay, she's breathing. She just passed out...)
---In the moment of her collapse, something seemed to have rolled and fallen near Kate.

While looking at the eerie individuals with masks, focus is on one of them.

Victor: As I command you. Pledge your allegiance to evil.
//Let it be commanded in the name of death. Now, it's time for death to come for you.
The man's eyes gaze into the void, and his expression becomes euphoric.
Red-haired masked man: Ah... It feels so wonderful. I... I...
The man reaches for his own neck and tightens it, ending his life.
Black-haired masked man: He's... dead...? Why did he... commit suicide...?
Looking at the bewildered men, I focus on one.
Victor: ...Starting from the right, say your names.
Black-haired masked man: Tommy Jaeger... Ugh...
Another death command.
Freckled masked man: Leah Rodriguez. Ah, I... Ah!
Another death command.
Finally, what remained was silence and the serene faces of those who died, as if having beautiful dreams.
William: Is it settled? It seems I won't have a chance to step in.
Victor: Yes, Will. The 'target' was here.

William: As always, they seem happy in death. As if invited by a god.

Kate: When you're going through a tough time, I don't want to just laugh and pretend I didn't know anything.
She laughs and looks at me, captivating me with those words.
Crown and I were changed, not just because of the changes she brought.
Kate herself is changing, becoming more beautiful with every blink.

I wonder if, one day, I'll be caught up in this storm and reveal the truth to her.

Victor: Don't hurry too much to become strong, Kate. I might get lonely.

Ikemen Villains: Prologue (Snippets)
If life is a fairy tale, being happy is easy as long as you don't do anything wrong.
For example, you shouldn't enter a forest, open a locked door or learn about a secret.
And...
Viktor: "Now, gentlemen, are you ready?"
Liam: "Of course, Viktor. It's been a while since we've all been on a mission together. I'm excited."
Harrison: "Don't get too excited. You'll get hurt if you get carried away, so relax."
Roger: "Well, as long as you're not too badly injured, I'll fix you up. If you die, I'll have one less person to help me with my research."
Liam: "Thanks, Roger. As expected of an ex-doctor."
Elbert: "Al. Do I really have to go?"
Alfons: "Yes, since it's such a lovely evening. And there might be something you're looking for at the target's mansion."
Elbert: "Really? Fine."
Jude: "If we're going, can we go already? Unlike the nobles, I don't have time for this shit."
Ellis: "You don't have any business meetings scheduled tonight, though."
Jude: "Tch. Stop being so damned honest. Shut your mouth."
William: "As you can see, the Crown is ready, Viktor."
Viktor: "Ahaha! This is nice. It's just like you guys, free and brilliant. Well then, let's get started."
Viktor: "Loyalty to your evil tonight."

My favorite pastime is finding "Love Rivals" in the Ikemen Games with IkeSen being the most obvious about it compared to the other games.
But this applies to IkeVil and it's under a read more as rn it's only specific to William and Alfons, tho Alfons's not fully accurate in the sense that I THINK that's who it is? But William's is EXTREMELY obvious.
Bear in mind that I've only done William's in both EN and JP and Al's in JP, but it does contain spoilers loosely for Al (as it's been a bit since I've done his route on JP since I'm going through Liam's on JP rn)
In which the "Love Rival" for William is Elbert, which in on itself is interesting. Only one of the endings actually makes it a little more apparent because it gets a little rough.
And with Al's case, I'm loosely assuming that it's Roger and it's for a multitude of reasons, largely because of the interactions between him and Kate after Al "dumps" her after she opts to get closer to him instead of away. It's harder to spot in Al's than it is in William's for a multitude of reasons of course.
I will not be surprised if they have to double up on someone being the Love Rival for a other x2 since they're an uneven number as is.
But it makes it exciting either way.

Has cybird written a character that has dealt with SA before? I'm trying to think but I'm having a rough time remembering.
Edit: i neglected to say this but I meant the suitors! I do know there are some side characters that experience it and mc does as well at times, but I am curious on if they have written suitors that have gone through this.
Edit 2: i had this in the tags originally, but I don't want to discuss ikevil on this post. I dont really want to spoil folks who stumble onto this post and dont engage with jp spoilers. I am also trying to limit what spoilers I look at.
I'm not mad or angry or anything like that, so please don't feel bad, I am just adding extra context that I neglected to type onto the post, because I am used to getting like 5 replies at the most on average.

IkeVil Prologue
I finished reading the prologue and realized that I don't remember some fragments from the JP version of the game. Most likely, I just forgot…. after all, it was like 5 months ago.
First of all, Willy didn't come up with a nickname for Kate.
It's a little sad… I used to think it was his idea…
She fell for his charms almost immediately. I vaguely remember it, but from this line it's quite obvious…
Why did they change that? What's wrong with the KING? It sounds shorter, easier to pronounce. And the phrase "self-righteous king" sounds so catching… firm and majestic… Maybe I just need time to get used to it…
NO! I DON'T LIKE IT!!! Monarch is the brand of tea! Willy… Why did they do this to you? My poor tea boy(((
Victor asked the others what they thought? What? How could I forget about it?
I mean, Kate answered him, and it shook him to the core. Even Willy commented on it. Because no one ever answers him? Poor Vic… They're not weird enough for you.
And this joke they used in a comic.

Kate's thoughts are really good. I had completely forgotten how thoroughly she analyzes everything… For example, "they tell me too much to keep me alive" or "why did they leave the door open if it was a secret mission?". True and true. You're so smart, girl, no wonder I wanna be you. But this one surprised me…
I would have definitely fell for his eyes… such a beautiful and unusual shade. But a flirting? I'm not an expert… and maybe his voice doesn't make that impression on me, but I don't think he ever flirts…

And since everyone has already read the prologue, and this won't be a spoiler, I have a couple of thoughts that I haven't talked about until now for this exact reason.
First of all… Wth of mission was this if it required them all to be there? They only show us the death of one person. One person. William alone could have handled it easily. Why were they all there? It doesn't make any sense. They just stand there and stare at the murder. Elbert is probably looking at the objects of beauty around, but the rest… (exhales)
Second. She doesn't know anything. She just saw a guy commit suicide. If Will (and I firmly believe he did it on purpose) didn't mention the name of the organization, they didn't even need to drag her with them. She had just witnessed a tragic suicide, which was probably the sacrafice, given that no one was trying to help him. "So… Ok… Keep doing your ritual or whatever it is. I didn't see anything. I'm going home." That would be a normal reaction. But… All Ikemen games have such weird logic, and I don't even know why I still surprised.
And the last one. They bring her to Victor. She is scared and wants to find out the truth before she dies (brave of her), but in the process she begins to think that NOW she knows too much to live... (facepalm)
I won't even comment on it.
So… I decided that I would made an additional page for the EN version of the game. I think it would be easier for people who don't play the JP version. And I like to have a fresh start. A new beginning - new posts. Something like that.

***Translating this line on my lunch break made me choke literally. Here’s the deal: クリ can be rendered as ‘chestnut’ and/or ‘clit’. Could Jude have called this guy a chestnut sarcastically? Sure. However, looking at the context of the situation, he is pissed that Kate has a scratch on her cheek, and it makes more sense to me that he called him a ‘clit’ instead. I did further research and it seems that chestnut and squirrel are used together in a derogatory sense since squirrels like eating chestnuts…..if you get my drift. I decided to include both, so you can choose what you think he said.

Jude: I don't like sneaking around behind peoples backs without lettin’ ‘em know that they're involved.
Jude: Hey, Victor. I gave ya information and helped Crown once, right?
Jude: Ya haven't paid my information fee yet.
Victor: No way! I gave exactly what you asked for, because you're scary.
Jude: I'm still owed for the interest. But that's all right, we'll call it even.
Victor: Eh.
Jude: I’ll tell Kate everything. Then I’ll kick her out and that’ll be the end of it.
Victor: Hmm. I thought you'd say that since you're a hot-blooded person.
As I turn my back on Victor, who is grumbling, and start to walk away, a voice comes flying in.
Victor: Jude! Spend a day with Kate and assess her. You must comply with this.

I headed to the common room and found Isla and Ellis frolicking in front of the arsenal of weapons that that freak was collecting.
Kate: Ellis, this pistol is shaped so that bullets can’t be inserted into it.
Ellis: It's not a real gun, it's a replica.
Ellis: It used by replacing this gun with the opponent's gun or pretending it is a real gun.
Kate: I see.….It looks like it can be used in many ways!

As I tossed down the fairy tale keeper continuation agreement, Kate's eyes followed the text, and then her eyes widened.
Jude: To spend the day with and assess ya.
Kate: You’re the one to sign this consent form, Jude?
Kate: So, as long as you sign the consent form, I can continue, right Jude?
Jude: If ya look at the text, you’ll understand.
Ellis: Why Jude? I guess because he’s the most difficult.
Jude: I don't know. If ya have any complaints, tell that Queen's freak aide.
Kate: Do you want to continue as a Fairytale Keeper? Or quit here and leave Crown?
Ellis: What do you want, Kate?
Kate looks up and says in a clear voice.
Kate: I want to continue being a fairy tale keeper.
Kate: I think there is still a lot I can do with Crown.
(An immediate answer).
When she finished speaking, Kate turned her annoying eyes on me.
Kate: Jude, please sign the agreement for me to continue as a Fairytale Keeper!
Jude: If they had asked for my permission and I had said yes, then I wouldn’t have confronted ya in the first place.
Jude: I'm against your continuing as Fairytale Keeper, and I'm against your staying here.
Kate: I thought you’d say that Jude…..
Kate: But I'll never give up. I'll keep fighting until the end, until I get your signature.
Jude: Really? Do as ya please.
Jude: You’re leaving today anyway. Your playing with gifts of the underworld.***
Ellis: If you're happy to continue as a fairytale keeper, I'll help you.
Kate: Thank you, Ellis!
(Shit…..everyone is siding with Kate.)
Ellis: What would make you want to sign it Jude?
Jude: Think for yourself.
Kate: I think it's important that I'm not a distraction to you and that I'm useful to you Jude.
Ellis: Ah, then.
She took us out into the garden and suggested that we have a sparring match.
I guess she wants to prove that she won't be a hindrance even if she accompanies us on a mission, and that she can fight satisfactorily.

I have no reason or time to look at something like this.
But going out with them is just a way to buy time until the end of this useless day called today.
Ellis: Isla, I’ll be your partner.
Kate: Yes, please don’t hesitate.
Kate: Jude, please watch properly.
Kate and Ellis begin to spar, as expected, it looked like a fixed match, like a cat playing with something.
Jude: What are ya showing me? Ellis, if you're going to go easy on her, don't.
Ellis: But…
Kate: It’s my fault for asking Ellis, who is so kind to me.
Kate: Jude, would you spar against me?
Jude: What, I'm just gonna letcha die, and that'll be the end of it?
Kate: Yep.
Jude: Hmmm, let's do it then.
Facing Kate, we made eye contact.
Kate randomly threw some punches and tried to land some light kicks, but I dodged them.
Kate: I thought you’d come in with a kicking technique, Jude.
Jude: Eh, is that what you’re watching? But your back is open.
I go behind Kate and tighten my arms around her.
Kate: Ah…..***
Instantly, Kate bent down and slipped out of my arms.

(But you’re getting too carried away.)
I grabbed Kate’s arm and swept her legs, pinning her to the ground.
Kate: Ah…..***
I glared at Kate at a distance where the tips of our noses touched.
(Ha…….Really, not good.)
(Her eyes.)

***I'm 99.9% sure this second sentence is incorrect. I have no idea what he meant by this, and I spent forever researching this line. But I assume he meant since she's leaving, so is her playtime with the gifts from the underworld AKA the Crown members. It doesn't have a huge bearing on the story, so take it with a grain of salt.
***When they are sparring, Kate uses 'tsu' つ, (not to be confused with the little っ 'tsu', which is silent.). I changed to this to 'Ah', since I wasn't sure how to translate the noise she was making as Jude was grabbing her both times, and it would look weird with 'tsu' written.
