Jean's passion

Am I the only one who finds it very odd how much different Jean's endings?

In the romantic ending, they didn't have any physical relationship, they didn't even kiss. I got it.. Historically, he is very young, 19 or so. But this doesn't make him a child or a person who doesn't have such desires. But I did take it as a matter of fact.

So I was extremely surprised to see a completely different Jean in the dramatic ending. He's quite the opposite in fact. Where did the sweet innocent kid go? I'm glad he's a real man, but… It feels like all the desires that he suppressed in the romantic ending just explode in the dramatic one… And double them.

So weird.

But maybe he hasn't changed, maybe he has the same passion in the romantic ending, but the devs didn't show it to us. They focused solely on the cuteness of their relationship, completely ignoring the other side.

Hmmm... That actually makes sense…

Fairytales

Afrer reading this post

I remember a few years ago (7 or 8… I need to check to be sure, but it's irrelevant)… when I finally decided that I wanted to learn English and bought a book. What book do you buy to learn a new language? Fairy tales. And when I started reading, I was shocked. So much violence, so much blood… I didn't even finish it. It's still somewhere on my bookshelf… I'm not afraid to read it, I'm scared because I imagine someone reading it to children… Are you really doing this???

When I was a kid, my favorite fairytale was… Sometimes I hate my bad memory. I don't remember the title. But I remember some of the story. Probably the best part.

This is a story about two girls, Belle and Rose or something similar. They had rose bushes with white and red flowers, so their names somehow reminded of these flowers. So… These two girls live in the forest. Now that I'm much older, I have a lot of questions about this. Why do two beautiful young girls live alone in the forest? What did they eat? Where did their parents go? Are they witches? Ignore the last one.

I don't remember the plot very well. But I remember the villain. Why do we always remember them? Why are they more remarkable than the heroes? So… It was (probably) an old man with a very long beard. And it's not surprising that he constantly gets tangled in the bushes with his beard. The girls, out of the kindness of their hearts, always help him, but in the only possible way… They cut his beard. And it turns out that all his magic was in that beard. That's why he's constantly yelling at them for what they did to him, even though they helped him. Even when I was a kid, I wondered if he was a wizard, why he didn't do anything to them? He just screamed and marched away… It's very odd.

And a simple moral. No matter what you think is good, another person may have a completely different opinion. At least this moral I've learned from this story. Can you believe it? In childhood. I feel very proud of myself right now.

It wasn't very bright and funny story, but it had funny moments. And that's why I still smile when I think about it. Some stories stay with us for the rest of our lives. For me, it was this one and the story of Nils… But this is for another time)

I just finished 20ch of Alfons's route and... I feel annoyed, teary-eyed and angry at the same time.

Why did they end the chapter at this moment? Not any chapter, but the chapter before choosing the ending.

It does sounds very cruel… but in context, it's actually rather sweet)))

It was such a tear-inducing moment, and boom… Choose wisely… And you know, I'm really scared to choose now. It's even harder than it was with Liam… I mean, I know he'll survive anyway, but still…

I wonder can the villains' boys use their abilities on themselves?

Alfons… I think he did it a lot when he was a kid. Maybe he still does it from time to time…

Theoretically… Jude, Ellis (why would he do that, but whatever) and Elbie (the same as Ellis, why… but just hypothetically) can do it. I find Jude's ability to be the most convenient. "Oh… I cannot sleep, I have so many thoughts in my head…" Touch the forehead and "zzzzz". Very useful. But wait a minute… he can involuntarily touch his forehead and fall asleep anywhere, anytime… People might think he has some kind of illness… Oh… no, he wouldn't have lived that long with his job.

Harry… he already knows when he lied so it's totally pointless...

Liam… he always does that. Roger is the same.

William… He hears his voice all the time so probably not. It's the same with Victor.

Hmmm… So most likely not…

24/04 (Willliam)

It's an incredible honor for me to have the opportunity to celebrate William's birthday. I will never be able to follow his lifestyle (I'm not as rich and famous as he is, so I have to follow a lot of restrictions). I will never be able to fully accept his grim determination to meet the bad end that destined for him. I can see the logic in his thoughts, but still it's not selfish enough for the villain he claims to be.

But despite all this… I find William irresistibly attractive. His smile is charming, his way of thinking is seductively poetic and I can listen to his voice forever. It's not as obsessive as Ellis's voice. My rational part finds everything about him amazing. It's soft and teasing, incredibly spellbinding. And his laughter always makes me smile.

Happy birthday, Willy! Don't let dark thoughts consume you.

You've changed so much since we met. You're honest and greedy… You've become a little selfish. I'm praising you, of course.

I found the first two chapters, the premium ending and the epilogue:

First of all… the beginning of both endings is very similar. And for a while I thought there was some kind of mistake. But they are not the same.

Kate said she didn't think they had told her everything. They mentioned that William used to pretend to be the Queen. If so, why did they need her this time? So, in her opinion, they knew that nothing bad would happen. And she didn't see Alfons, Albert, and Roger since yesterday. Victor was delighted with her logic.

They went into the dining room and saw Alfons and Roger, with a woman sitting between them. For obvious reason, Kate decided that it was Her Majesty herself.

But of course it was Elbert. Poor thing. He was assigned the most difficult job! Of the three, he is the only one with torn clothes… What exactly were these criminals trying to do to him?

So Victor and William spread rumors that there would be a double at the parade, but the real Queen would be elsewhere. While the three boys were catching criminals, Kate was just enjoying herself. Obviously, Victor his favorites.

The boys start demanding rewards (Alfons and Roger), and of course Victor and William agree.

So… the reward is…

William told Kate to wait with the others, but she refused

Victor decided on the menu, and they distributed the responsibilities

Moment of appreciation…

I cannot… I seriously don't get it, how he manages to look perfect all the time? This is cheating! You are… red-eyed! I know, I know it's not a bad thing, but I can't came up with anything at all!!

Kate watched William peel an apple… And you wouldn't be surprised… He does it splendidly.

While complimenting Kate

Vic forgot about his cooking, and something started to burn. William pointed this out…

Awwww!.. Such a cute family))) Mama Victor, Papa William, whoever she is Kate and a bunch of baby-boys))))

This is the first time I've heard that William can cook. He's perfect in everything, why am I even surprised at all?

At events there is always a feeling that William is very quiet. Perhaps next to Victor, anyone would look quiet… But it's still strange how different he feels on his route.

Yes, they didn't share any secrets, but their company is so cozy. They are indeed very good friends. Who can work, spend their free time, and even cook together…

But before I start talking about the ending, I just have to mention this scene from 1ch.

It happens that right now I'm reading Alfie's route on JP, and it really gives a huge hint to understanding his personality.

So...

The boys went to catch the culprit, but didn't take Kate with them. On the way to the Queen's room, they express interest in her… in their own strange way

Elbert apologizes for always asking the same question. But Alfie doesn't think he has anything to apologize for.

Actually, I cannot say I understand why Alfons thinks that way. What exactly did he mean by that? Because their relationship is based on mutual help, but mostly Alfons helps Elbert (with his obsession). And as I see it, it's really difficult to find his fault at all. I would even dare to say that without him, Elbert would be in a more dire state if he were still alive.

While they were away, Kate was surrounded by young debutantes. The girls she met while playing the role of the Queen. And the girls started asking her for advice. Obviously, Kate knows a few tricks if she has attracted the attention both Alfons and Elbert.

While she was trying to sort out this misunderstanding, Elbert and Alfons returned. The girls asked Kate to keep in touch with them and give her their contact information. Alfons, of course, commented on this.

As soon as they got into the coach, the boys began to compliment Kate.

And immediately after that, Alphonse begins to demand a reward

She tried to reason with them. It's weird to reward people who work together. But…

Kate realized that she should act before they made their demands, and stopped the coach.

She ran away, and Alfons laughs, how naive she is. Elbie followed her.

Alphonse mutters that this is all problematic, and follows Elbie…

I love both boys and thought I knew them very well. I finished Elbert's route and halfway of Alfons' route, but still some moments make me doubt. Of course, it's hard to know everything about someone, and over time, the developers will probably throw us something new, so I shouldn't be surprised… But still… Alfie feels guilty… This disturbing thought doesn't wanna leave my head.

I'm really happy to see Alfie enjoying himself. Recently I go soft for him and I happy when he's happy. For some reason, his route hit too close to home… Perhaps due to some personal experience. I cannot say for sure.

What a day!

First, Roger from Alfons's route (JP) talked about Alfons's past, and I realized once again how many different emotions his story had awakened in me. How much my opinion of him changes over time. The more I read about him, the more I like him.

But then I finish reading a scene from William's route in The Tower… That was the last drop. I started crying.

But they managed to kill the mood…

A little spoiler alert…

Why? Why did they do that? Who the hell decided to ruin such a beautiful line "red suits you"? That's how it should be! My color? No! No! Not good! Red is his color. His. And if he said red suited her, then it's mean HE suited HER… It have so much more meaning!

Now I'm really upset…

Kagetoki is so creepy

I just started Kagetoki's route and...

After the first chapter, I thought… He's fast. I mean, even on Shigehira's route, I noticed his absolutely moral-free behavior. But I didn't expect that at the first chapter for sure.

After the second chapter, I begin to doubt. Maybe I shouldn't play his route after all. He reminds me of Faust and Theo, but he behaves more cruel and oppressive than both of them combined.

Or I just forgot… I was played Johann's route at the time it came out…. and it was… a year ago (time flies indeed). And Theo's around the same time. So it's been a while…

Someone tell me... It will be better? Or... not?

It's like psychological slavery with sexual abuse. And the more I read about it, the more uncomfortable I feel. This is the most toxic relationship in the game I've ever seen. And they're not even in a relationship yet….

All the boys are showing interest in Kate at this event. And their personality has played a huge role in how they express it. This is one of the events that allows you to get to know them better at the very beginning of the story. Sweet, funny and cute. No romance, just a hint of it. Unfortunately, this is not an event that you can save by reading both normal and premium ending. Sadly.

I found the first two chapters, the premium ending and the epilogue:

So I recommend reading this beforehand.

Kate cannot sleep. Yes, she remembers that only the staff can open the door, but it still doesn't give a sense of security. She decided to prepare for the second day of the "pretend to be the Queen" job. But when she opens the book, there is a strange sound outside her room.

And she notices some "maybe-not-so-dead-body" lying at the feet of Ellis and Jude.

It's okay, she couldn't fell asleep anyway…

So, all of them (including unconscious "body") entered Queen-Kate's room. The boys explain that this "body" is the secretary of the minister in question, who actually tried to break into her room with obviously bad intentions.

Kate immediately thought of a very suspicious minister with glasses… and received another compliment from Jude…

Oh, hon, you spoil me…

They explain that Ellis felt a sweet smell coming from the crown. And they realized that the culprit was the one who touched the crown last. But they needed proof, so they waited for his move.

Kate thinks they work very well together. And it doesn't look like a purely business relationship. So she asks:

You look like an old married couple who know each other so well that they can be in perfect sync and understand each other even without words… We've seen that… How long have they been together? Eight years? Something like that… That's a lot!

So they start to express their "wishes" to her…

Oh, how scary…

She tried to reason with them… and that made Jude remind her that if she suddenly backed out, it would be a breach of contract.

Oh, stop it, you're making me blush!

So they took the "body" and left her to sleep. They still have a lot of work to do. Of course, she couldn't sleep at all.

The next morning, the boys bring the culprits to Victor.

Ellis noted that Jude was more harsh with interrogations than usual

But Ellis himself admits that he was a little meaner than usual because he scared Kate. But he didn't cross the line of murder/death. I can't say exactly what he meant.

Of course, he didn't answer that question. Oh Jude, you really love this kid)))

So they found Kate, who decided to ask them what happened last night

Yeah… they don't want to worried her for no reason.

So… In this ending, wish fulfillment was not shown at all. But I really enjoyed the interaction between Jude and Ellis. It's always fun and breathes life… It gives a very vivid picture of who they are, and I can almost hear their voices in these dialogues.

This is the second time this event has been on the JP server. So when it came on EN I will have more than enough opportunities to fill in the gaps that I undoubtedly still have.
