One of the biggest things that makes me see Leo as trans is absolutely the size of his carapace in comparison to his brothers’.
And I’m not talking about height! I’m specifically looking at his shell here, because when you compare him to the others, particularly Donnie who is nearly the same height as Leo, it’s very clear that Leo’s carapace is much longer in proportion to the rest of his body.
Like - standing side by side, even though Donnie is shorter his carapace ends noticeably higher up than Leo’s does. And I like this not only because it really helps push the idea that Leo could very likely be trans (or intersex!), but it’s also just a fun design difference between them.
(It also lends way to future scenarios of Donnie eventually getting taller than Leo, but sitting down still has Leo being the taller one haha.)

genuinely the sonic and shadow generations thing sounds so fake but everyone keeps talking about it as if its real so i have no idea how to feel about it . i mean its not that i think its impossible but this whole thing sounds like something people would say when theyre just making shit up and calling it a leak

(I'm in some stage of dnd grief, I need to put this into words, sorry) (SPOILERS e93)
Ha, remember when we thought Bells Hells and Crown Keepers were going to meet... something tells me they were never going to. And not just because of table capacity alone or even DM juggling.
Not to sound like a conspiracy theorist, it's how it had to play out without having a super deep meaning behind, but I don't think she was being cruel for the sake of it. Aabria had an objective and it was to break the party apart. Either in plot or real-life scheduling or public reception, they couldn't continue existing.
There's also a big overlap now with Dariax, Deni$e, and Deanna (I swear, how is this not a bit...) existing in the same universe where we need either DMs and we got Opal.
Sometimes I gotta remember these beats are not accidental, they weren't summoned randomly and these aren't unplanned games. I believe what happens in-game is her doing, she's just given a point A and point B and how she makes it there is her and the players' job to figure out.
And knowing the players she has and the very limited time they were given to tie this up, she couldn't allow dicking around or skirting past the consequences of their choices and they've been pretty big choices.
Like Calamity, there was an ending we needed to reach - Dorian was going back to BH and going back alone - we just happened to trail the most tragic path possible there.

So recently I had the pleasure of designing this pin and sticker for @innbetween's season 5 crowdfund! Which (as of posting this) is ALMOST OVER! Go support them!!!

Since the crowdfund is wrapping up I wanted to share some of the early designs and some of my thoughts on the finished design, because honestly i loved a lot of them.

You might've guessed it, but considering Tode, who says the quote in the show, is a druid, the designs are all heavily nature themed.
Fun little note! On all the designs, the leaves are oak leaves to tie into the acorn, and the mushrooms are based on Amanita muscaria, which is among the mushrooms most frequently called Toadstools (see what i did there).
In all honesty, when Hannah came to me with the quote, the first design that came into my head was the one that we ultimately settled on. We actually took another design (the other circular one with the oak tree) to a more refined stage, but the final design just clicked in the end.
And here's a little breakdown of that design! There's a lot of elements going on here, but in general I wanted the details to represent that no matter where you are in life, you still have the potential to change. Thus, the 'cycle', so to speak.

honestly the main reason that my bill flatland fic is so focused on the satire aspects of the original novella is because that's the most fascinating part of the book to me. the dimensional stuff that doesn't tie into the social aspects are conceptually interesting but honestly mostly whatever to me, i don't really care about it from a mathematics standpoint and i'm not super interested in alien biology and stuff in stories. i'm here for the horrible little victorians and how absolutely stifling their terrible world is
#also frankly i think that's the horror of the dimension and-- from a gravity falls perspective-- THAT's what would have upset bill#like if the second dimension had been the second dimension withot the bigotry and supression of art maybe it would have been a little bland#but 'a little bland' is one cut and bill is someone who canonically suffered a thousand#he's the type who would have always grown frustrated by the limits of his dimension but it would have take longer and been less explosive#and less angry and pointed and more of an 'i need to see what else is out there'#if said limits weren't so horribly and purposefully curated by a eugenics-loving color-supressing god-king upperclass#idk i think about it like... when we think about our world and the things that frustrate us#we don't usually go 'the fact we can't see the fourth dimension!' or start seriously complaining about our evolutionary biology#i think very few people would answer those sorts of things when asked how they would change the world they live in#it's /societal/ and /personal/ stuff y'know. that's what wears us down

I like to believe this actually happened
Like, one day Descole just says this without any prompting and never brings it up. Randall has no clue how to react to this. “Descole is married?? Or is he just messing with me?” He is the only character to know this fact about Descole, and he’s not entirely sure what it means. Is he divorced? Is she dead? Is he just saying that because of their plans he has been unable to see his wife for the past few months and he just misses her?
Then it goes deeper when Randall starts really thinking about it and raises the follow up question: “if he’s married…could he also have a kid??” And then he starts thinking about Descole’s actions, like for example maybe he self censors himself, and after doing so he apologizes and just says “sorry it’s a habit”, and he tells bad jokes, and he can be nice to kids when he wants/has to be, and now he’s convinced Descole has a kid
He starts sounding like a crazy conspiracy theorist, except for the fact that he’s unknowingly right

This is definitely a personal thing but. I can't understand wols who just. Openly and unreservedly resent the shit out of being a hero and the Scions. Like having regrets and frustrations is one thing but if you hate it. Just hit the bricks. I just don't get it ur wol is ur sandbox if u don't want them to be a hero then just make them not be a hero. They could leave at any time they could be just a normal adventurer why are they so fucking mad all the time???
