<p>Match was in balance when day started. If Australia manage to rap up India under 400-420, they could then put India under pressure by going for some quick runs. That would mean India would be under pressure on final day. As far as India was concerned, India had to get near Australia as much as possible and even bat out time. India started well as they were a bit more positive. It was also the way Australia bowled. They had bowled into the stumps with no chance of milking for runs. They bowled a bit short today morning. Pujara and Saha obliged with some quick runs. When new ball was dew later near the lunch period, Australia could have given pacers a bit of rest and bowl Maxwell more. But Australia started by bowling the pacers at one end and Okeefe at other end. AFter struggling for first 3 innings of the series to spin, Indian batsman had answers post that. In fact Lyon had not picked a wicket since his last wicket of first innings in Bangagalore. Pujara was given LBW by umpire by Pujara reviewed for decision to be overturned. Ball was missing leg. That was the closest Australia got clsoe to a wicket. Saha reached fifty and both had 100 run stand. These 2 have had some recent good partnerships. In Irani when they had to chase 350+ and were at 60 odd for 4, these 2 joined and took ROi to victory. Saha had scored double that time. Pujara surpassed 150. His only double had come against Australia. India reached lunch at 435-6. Session won by India hands down. Another session like that and there would be only 1 team who can win this match and that is India. Thats exactly what happened. Both played with utmost skill, patience and dedication which is very seen in today's fast paced cricket. They accumulated runs and hit odd bad balls to runs. Australia kept bowling only mainstream bowlers. This is where SMith had another brain fade. Why didnt he bring himself on or MAxwell or Renshaw?? Gap between 2 tests is not much. If India had luck and bat first, Australian bowlers will find to stay focussed. India gained some serious momentum in 2nd session. They surpassed Australian total and kept batting with same intent post that. Total surpassed 500. India reached tea at 503-6 , a lead of 52. Both were still intact. Saha was 1 short of his 3rd century of his test career and Pujara was 10 short of his 2nd double century. Both completed in quick fashion post tea. Pujara finally fell for 202. He got a standing ovation from crowd and team. A very deserved one. This innings would categorize him into BIG league. He faced 525 balls in this innings surpassing India's record of 495 by Dravid.Innings lasted mammoth 668 minutes. This innings was like meditation by a priest (PUJAra). Saha was class himself. To get this when team needed the most and to score in MS DHoni's home town was icing on the cake. This stand of 199 was match and series defining effort. Hats off to both of them. Jadeja scored a quick fire 50 . Saha was dismissed for 117. Umesh and Jadeja had 50 run stand as well. At 603-9, Kohli declared the innings, a lead of 152 .Australia had bowled 210 overs, max they had bowled in test history beating 202 in 1985 at Adelaide. Australia still had to bat 8 overs. There was lot of rough for JAdeja to use and expose Australia's left handers. Thats exactly what happened as he castled Warner to one which pitched on the rough and wripped apart off stump. Australia did the unthinkable after that. Lyon who had bowled bulk of overs and had his hand swollen and almost red in colour was sent in as nightmatchman. If SMith wanted himself to be protected, Why not send MAxwell??   Why not S Marsh who opens batting in test?? That move did not have any logic. Lyon as expected didnt last long and was castled by Jadeja in last over. Australia ended day at 23-2. Australia have their back to the balls. They need to bat out of their skins to force a draw . Doubt if they will. India could well wrap them by tea to take lead in the series. Expect Kohli to give each and every batsman a mouthful as well !!</p>

<p>Bangladesh had history at sight in their 100th test. They had to wrap tail of Lanka fast. Lankan tail wagged and set Bangladesh a target of 191. Bangladesh had collapsed in 4th innings on a few occassions off late. Things looked as history would repeat as Herath dismissed Soumya and Kayes in 1 over. Bangladesh were reduced to 24-2. tamim and Shakib had to up their game for them to win their first test outside home against a  proper test playing nation. Tamim did exactly that. He showed immense skill and character to play a blinder. Lanka were shell shocked. He and Sabbir settled Bangladesh nerves . They had 108 run stand of just 30 overs. Tamim's innings was all class. He is a player who has shown lot of promise in last few years. Time to give it back to bangladesh fans. That partnership set the tone. Though both got dismmissed and few wickets fell, Bangladesh won eventually by 4 wickets. They have been underachievers for long time. To be fair, most countries have not invited them like they have in last 2 years. That has given players match confidence. They have deserved this and getting this on their 100th test was icicng on the cake.</p>

<p>Wawrinka and Federer won their SF in straight sets to setup mouthwatering finals clash.All Swiss finals could be intresting. They met in Australian open SF recently where Federer won a 5 set epic.Wawrinka likes raise his game in  big matches as well.Hopefully finals would be atleast half as good as Australian open SF.</p>

<p>In EPL, Chlelsea keep winning as they beat Stoke city easily 2-1. . They have not let the leg off the accelerator once they gained 10 point lead which is so tough to do. SInce they are not in champions league this season, they have additional match practice time which would have helped. Arsenal went further down the barrel as they lost 1-3 to West Brom. In La Liga, Real MAdrid beat Athletic Bilbao 2-1 take 5 pt lead over Barca. Barca though have a game on Sunday to reduce lead to 2 points. But Real have extra game in hand. </p>
