Thinking about how Icarus keeps repeating that they’ve never been a good brother so why should they try, when we know that isn’t true

Len has said that when they were kids, they were a good brother

And they were a good brother at the end of season 2 and beginning of season 3

But that all changed when Fable got involved

Icarus changes when Fable is involved

They become desperate for his approval, to make him proud, to be a good son, and they’ll do anything for it because in their mind that is who they’re ment to be

Or at least the closest thing to it

Because they can’t be who they’re actually ment to be, they can’t be a good friend, they can’t be a good brother, but atleast they can be a good son

They still have a chance to be a good son, to not fail at everything they do,

So they’ll take that chance, and they’ll do anything to make sure they don’t lose it
