1. how many works do you have on ao3?

121, which is...a lot, but I've been posting to AO3 since 2009, so I guess that explains it.

2. what's your total ao3 wordcount?

2,201,443 words

3. what fandoms do you write for?

Currently? None. I went through a flash of a brief return to My Chem, which was SO fun, but currently I am fandom-less & am doing my best to be okay with that. I'm refilling the well by reading lots of books and allowing my fields to lie fallow for the time being.

4. what are your top 5 fics by kudos?

5. do you respond to comments?

I do at first, and then I fall off it and feel bad. So, so many fics where I responded to the first, like, 6 pages of comments, and then never went back to respond to the rest. Mea culpa, but it gets overwhelming after a while.

6. what is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Probably lullaby (SHL) because it's Wen Kexing grieving.

7. what's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Honestly, the rest of my fics all have very happy endings. In terms of the most, like, traditional happy endings, I'd say probably On the Way Home and A Sure Thing, but I think the most hopeful one is actually in estuaries, the break-up/make-up modern-era Wangxian.

8. do you get hate on fics?

No, never. I once got a shitty comment, I think. That's it. I've been very lucky.

9. do you write smut?

Consistently.

10. do you write crossovers? what's the craziest one you have written?

I don't, actually! When my brain is occupied with one fandom, that's all it can take.

11. have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not as far as I know, but it might have happened and I've never found out, who knows.

12. have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes, frequently, and it's been amazing. I especially love it when they get translated into Russian, because I can read them in translation, which is VERY cool.

13. have you ever co-written a fic before?

Yes, Becoming Joan with @theopteryx, which still holds a special place in my heart. I'd write with B again in a heartbeat.

14. what's your all time favorite ship?

God, this is hard, because they are all my children, but considering that I just went through an absolutely insane out-of-the-blue My Chem renaissance, I'll say Frank & Gerard, because they are, apparently, a constant. Wangxian is a very, very close second.

15. what is a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I don't have any! In all my time writing, I've not finished one (1) fic, a wangxian office AU where I wrote myself into a corner and realized I'd have to rewrite the whole thing so I scrapped it and am very comfortable with that decision. Otherwise, it's mostly original stuff that's sitting there unfinished and making me feel inadequate.

16. what are your writing strengths?

Writing dialogue, I think, as well as intimacy and closeness, emotional or physical.

17. what are your writing weaknesses?

Plot. Plot, plot, plot, as well as writing high stakes - that's definitely a weakness of mine. I have a hard time putting my characters through the wringer because I'm a softie, but to get a compelling story (especially an original one) you gotta do it, and so I think that's a real weakness.

18. thoughts of writing dialogue in another language in fics?

As long as you know the language or get a native speaker to help you, I'm all for it.

19. first fandom you wrote for?

Harry Potter, back before the fifth book came out - you know, in pre-historic times.

20. favorite fic you have written?

Of all time? Man, that's hard. You know what, I'm gonna come out of left field and say Simmer Down and Pucker Up, which is a Raven Cycle fic from many, many years ago. I'm still very proud of capturing Ronan's voice.

2. What's your total A03 word count?

Total AO3 word count is 127,857.

3. What fandom's do you write for?

Almost all of my fics are for Star Wars, but I do have four that are in the Attack on Titan fandom! (Still gotta watch the end of the show, rip)

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

We're Not Needed Here - 709 kudos (oh crack fic, my beloved <3)

Her Step Forward - 155 kudos (this is my first published fic on AO3, and I love it, even if I'd rewrite it differently now, haha)

(Galactic) History in the Making - 125 kudos (this is an Obitine proposal fic! Qui-Gon meddles too, and it makes me happy)

Though Darkness May Be Our Companion, I Will Watch Over You - 121 kudos (this is a Merrical fic that I wrote after I either finished playing or watching a gameplay of Jedi: Fallen Order. I love those babies :') )

Sparring with Buir - 110 kudos (Korkie and Obi-Wan spar after reuniting on Mandalore.)

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I do! I like to interact with everyone who reads my stories. I like building community!!

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Oooooh, that's a hard one. I don't write super angsty endings, bc everyone deserves a happy ending, dangit, but the one fic that does foot the bill is Ghost Star, Are You Very Far? This is a fic centered around Kata Akuna and her love for stories. Sounds cute, yeah, but BROOOO there's some angst in there, I promise.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

The happiest ending? That's a hard one as well. The one I love the most is Tequila. Very cracky, and very fun to write.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

No, not really (and that's not an invitation to start, lol)

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

No, I don't write literary pornography. It's all kinds of damaging to your brain (see increased anxiety and depression rates) as well as the rest of the body (see erectile dysfunction). Click here if you want to see more of my reasons.

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

No, I don't. My brain honestly has such a hard time making characters from different universes meet like that. They stay separate in my head XD

Kinda?? My brother helps me out and writes some things in my fics sometimes, but I've never done an intentional co-authored fic before.

Anidala, hands down. I love them so much :')

I doubt that all my WIPs will get finished, does that count? XD

In all seriousness, my very first WIP - that's still unpublished - is sitting in my docs folder, just begging me to write more, but I feel like I'm at an impasse. I don't know where to go from where I stopped, haha.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Ummmmm, my ability to keep characters in character when I write crack??? Idk, dude, I just put stuff on a page and people like it enough XD

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I definitely don't describe things as well as I want to. I often feel like I'm jumping from point to point in my writing without connecting it on paper. It all connects in my head, but it comes out clunky on paper.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

Would that I could :') I'd LOVE to become fluent in German or Spanish one day and write a fic!

What is your AO3 word count? 38,116

What fandoms do you write for? Currently, I have fics on AO3 for The Last of Us, The Evil Within, Murdered: Soul Suspect, and Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. I also have WIPs I've written for Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, Dishonored, and Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, along with a few others.

What are your top five fics by kudos? Bloodied Axes and Blooming Flowers (161), Page Turner (121), Papa Wolf (97), Dozing (85), Healing Hearts (Also 85)

Do you respond to comments? I try my best to.

What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Two Days or No Happy Endings are probably my most angsty fics. They both end with Major Character Death.

What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? tbh, not really sure lol

Do you get hate on fics? Nope, never have.

Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Yes. Mostly M/M and M/F or Polyam stuff.

Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written? I do! As for the craziest one, that would be a WIP I've been working on since 2019 called Dark Hearts. It's a Kingdom Hearts fic that crosses over with a lot of my favorite videogames. It's a BEAST as well, as it's currently sitting at almost 155k words, and I am nowhere near the ending of it. The craziest part about it though is the fact that - admittedly - I've never actually played a Kingdom Hearts game, or even watched a walk/playthrough of it xD I've seen parts of it, I know the general idea behind the series, and I think I understand a good bit of the lore, but not the whole series. Which is why I will NEVER post it. Because it's mostly just me being silly. Why did I start writing it? Don't ask me lol the idea got into my brain and wouldn't leave me alone, so I gave in and started writing it.

Have you ever had a fic stolen? Not to my knowledge.

Have you ever had a fic translated? I don't think so?

Have you ever cowritten a fic before? No, but I might consider it.

What’s your all-time favorite ship? That is a TOUGH one, I have so many ships lol

What’s a WIP you’d like to finish but doubt you ever will? The Kingdom Hearts fic I mentioned above, Dark Hearts. I love it to death and I want desperately to finish it, but I think I burned out on it. As well, even if I did finish it, I most likely would never post it. Mainly because again, I've never played a Kingdom Hearts game. So even though it's fun for me to write, idk if KH fans would enjoy it.

What are your writing strengths? Being able to write a lot in one sitting. Once I get going, I get GOING and can write for HOURS. On record, my wordiest writing session was 16k words.

What are your writing weaknesses? Definitely the inability to finish anything. Mostly due to the fact that I try to write a lot of long fic, but end up having my hyperfixation shift before I can finish it. Usually because I've begun to fixate on a new fandom.

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? I personally don't think there is anything wrong with it, especially if it's something the character does in canon.

First fandom you wrote for? I'll be honest, I don't remember. I think it might have been either Devil May Cry or Hellsing.

Favorite fic you’ve ever written? Probably Dark Hearts. It's my baby and I love it so much. Just wish I could finish it lol

An ask about how you plotted Gladiator raised a good question. How do you keep track of it all? If you write notes, how do you organize them? How many Word files do you have? Or do you use another software?

Well... I can certainly say I've never needed as much backup material to keep up with a story as I have with this one, for obvious reasons X'D

Okay, I had a simple bullet-points list at first, probably started it around the time I was writing either arc 2 or finishing arc 1? At that point, keeping track of what I wanted to happen next wasn't so hard. But I turned this into what you could call a wishlist, haha, of ideas that I wanted to implement in the future, so I dumped those ideas there. Little by little I started articulating, organizing them, and that's kind of how Part 1's structure came to be. Whatever new idea I'd get, I'd add it to the bullet points list. Once I crafted the bulk of the story's outline for the first time, it was initially written there. As of this day... that particular document, which I don't rely on as much anymore, amounts to 3K words, 8 pages worth of very rough, very basic plotting.

But then more complicated arcs started happening. Stuff I REALLY needed to work out in proper detail because I wasn't sure I would be able to just remember whatever I wanted to do. Sometimes inspiration strikes like lighting: hits once and then it's gone and you're just left ambling about, half-blind, unsure of what the hell is going on :'D so I started writing similar bullet points lists that were more detailed structure for the more difficult arcs to plot. Pairs Tournament arc, I think, was the first one to receive this treatment. Fire Lord for a Week arc in Part 2 also had to be handled this way, same as the final arc of Part 2, and the Race, particularly since that one required extra choreographing on my part to get it right. In Part 3, I did this with the Taking Omashu arc as well. There are a few more bullet-point lists about some really important things that will matter in the future... but I can't talk about those yet :'D

Now then, past this: I have the a huge Excel document where I tried to keep track of the disaster ranking of the Superior Gladiator League. As much as Part 3 has been so difficult... not having to update the ranking is so goddamn nice about it :') This document had the ranking itself, the names + locations of all Superior League Arenas, the brackets for every Pairs Tournament we saw, it's also where I kept track of the Race's points... and there's also a very poorly crafted timeline in this document where I tried (and kind of failed) to figure out how many years had passed in the story and how old each character would be :'D as you might be able to tell, this particular document is... a mess. Big mess. I do not recommend looking at it. The timeline in particular is just completely irrelevant tbh...

Because I made a NEW timeline doc that keeps track of... everything. Kind of. Mostly? :'D

The new timeline doc was necessary and I honestly should have had it around from the start, but I spent AGES putting that one off because I have no sense :'D I think I started it in Part 2, REALLY late, as in, when Wan Shi Tong was writing down what Azula would say about her family. Then, Part 3 made this doc a much bigger necessity because I REALLY needed to keep track of... the obvious :') as in, Azula's pregnancy. Real pregnancies are tracked on a weekly basis. Hence... I had to start planning, plotting and strategizing my story by keeping in mind where, exactly, we would be in terms of Azula's pregnancy, CONSTANTLY. That sure switched up things for me :'D forced me to be a lot more organized than I usually want to be because wild freedom is kinda nice sometimes... but I couldn't keep doing that anymore. So! This timeline doc starts with the birth of Fire Lord Hizuo in the year -49, and it goes all the way to the events of year... 121! :'D I broke down the story events of each year in this doc, so if you want a bit of a rundown of what we've seen so far...

Year 104: Chapters 1 and 2

Year 106: Chapter 3 to approximately chapter 46

Year 107: Chapter 47 to chapter 114 (yeeeeah a lot of things happened that year :'D

Year 108: Chapter 115 to chapter 164

Year 109: Chapter 165 to chapter 200 (note that there was a preeetty big time skip of around 6 months between Hahn's Gambit arc and The Mad Alchemist arc).

Year 110: Chapter 201 to chapter 328 (okay now THIS was an eventful year, holy shit :'D and naturally it's the one I'm posting right now...)

Year 111: Chapter 329 to... ??? Still not done with the events of that year :'D so I dunno how many chapters it's going to be!

Things really changed since I started keeping track of events by month, even by weeks. I've tried to keep doing that since, even beyond writing Azula's pregnancy. It's a little annoying to be so thorough and to panic over miscalculating dates and such, but at the same time I think I feel more secure in my own crazy story this way.

Ah, and there we go. That's Gladiator's plotting documents, every single one of...

...

Yeah okay, that's not true.

Look. Sometimes you REALLY need to be thorough. Some things require WAY too much finesse. Sometimes you're telling two stories simultaneously. Sometimes you're telling THREE. Sometimes it's even MORE than that because you have flashbacks and multiple POVs of events in a battlefield. Sometimes you have to write huge battles between armies and you need to keep track of wtf you're doing. Sometimes you have to articulate events to make sure they match each other timeline-wise!

... At those times, you make a big document with a huge table, split in three columns.

Column 1 is the arc's name. Column 2 is Sokka's side of the story. Column 3 is Azula's side of the story.

... And sometimes that document ends up becoming as long as 122 pages.

Yeah, uh, the document carrying the highly sensitive plans, detailing every single arc of Part 3 and how they work, how they connect, how long they'll be, what will happen in each of them (as well as which elements happened in which chapter, some of which ends up getting switched up, back and forth, depending on whether my writing lined up with the reality of my plotting or not...) is genuinely, uh... 122 pages long. 45K words. By my standards, that's about the length of 3 Gladiator chapters :'D

I had to be really thorough in that document. I was lost in regards of how I'd handle Part 3 for some time. Even if I had some ideas for it already, Sokka's side of the story used to be muuuuch clearer than Azula's. Once Rei showed up, plotting for Azula's side became soooo much easier to do... but the point is, Part 3 has been the most challenging aspect of plotting this story by far. I'm flexible enough with my plans, some things don't work or would work better at other times, and I simply adapt to it. But this document was 100% necessary to make sure I wouldn't get lost in the chaos of Part 3... so there it is :'D

Additional to this: I keep a version of Bill Mudron's ATLA map on direct access for easy reference whenever I want to make sure I'm not committing geographical crimes by making characters travel too fast, or to places that aren't even close to each other :'D it has been a huge element in my plotting and ensured I don't ATLA finale ANYTHING in the story since its earliest days. I also had to acquire a strange little resource, an educational app about space that features a projection/simulation of timezones! And that's how I've been keeping track of whether it's daytime or nighttime in Sokka or Azula's story, particularly useful whenever they connect to each other spiritually since it's very often nighttime for one and daytime for the other and these events should be happening simultaneously :'D

Oof, well. That's all I can think of atm to answer this question. There are always a lot of references you need as a writer, lots of places to keep track of your research, of your worldbuilding... it's chaotic but once you find a method to your madness, it can be fun, even! :D it still blows me away a little that my big full plotting document is 122 pages long, but it's been an undeniably useful asset all across these years.

So, in total, counting only my documents... I have about 10 different Word documents, 1 Excel spreadsheet with multiple sheets, probably around 8 different ones, 1 map, 1 cosmos education app. Making it around 13 resources to keep track of what I'm doing in this huge chaotic story :'D

... 11, come to think of it. I have one hilarious document that's basically me arguing with myself over some big plot changes I did to Part 3 as a whole when I started writing the first spiritual connection and it became EXTREMELY obvious that Azula wasn't letting Sokka go without telling him she was pregnant :'D yep, that wasn't part of the OG plan because I, as usual, underestimated my girl. By the time I got there she was like "I'm going to do it and you can't stop me with your PLOT" and I had to go back to the drawing board for a LOT of rearranging the plot, to figure out how it would work, what to do with it... document is literally called "BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE.doc" simply because I was terrified that change would alter the plotted story way more than I could handle. After my bickering with myself in that doc, it all started making a little more sense :'D

Welcome to Madaboutmunson :)

As the name of this blog implies on May 27th I (and millions of others) fell in love with a fluffy haired, metalhead named Eddie Munson. So this is a little section of the internet I can come to and share my obsession with other people who also are obsessed

He is the first character I've ever met that inspired me to write fanfiction, and I love him for that because it pushed me to join this wonderful community and "meet" people I could never be without now (you know who you are you beauts!)

Ok so I love the Steddie HC which have Eddie reading to Steve I think it's the cutest.

I'd like to add that whilst Tolkien is first because Steve has to learn what Mordor is, I'd like some nights for it to be a choose your own adventure book.

- Eddie reads the set up and let's Steve make the decision generally (just like his DM role in Hellfire)

- Eddie always keeps a finger in the previous part page in case Steve makes a 'wrong turn'

- If Eddie ever complains about Steve's decision making. Steve snatches up the book and hits him with "Well alright Mr Smartypants, you decide" (Eddie loves this and can't hide his grin)

- Steve very much gets into being the book heroes (regardless of gender/personality)

- They exhaust the adventure books that Eddie has, so sometimes Eddie makes up a Story adventure for Steve on the fly

- Steve buys Eddie a huge set of these books for his birthday/christmas

Look I am not a d&d expert I've only been playing for a few years, but hear me out, I have to say I disagree with Steve being a Paladin.

Yeah he absolutely cares ferociously about his party, and will protect/defend them like the super single mom he is but to me that guy is a Barbarian.

he is first in, meat shield, and just because you are big and tough (even though he doesn't win all his fights doesn't mean he's not tough) doesn't mean you can't also be loving and kind.

my writing meme word doc has 106 pages now, so I had to start a SECOND writing meme word doc. didn’t want to deal with the loading and lag, and the first writing meme doc had so many misspellings (read: strange Gravity Falls names) that I actually got a notification saying “spellcheck isn’t gonna underline misspelled words anymore bc there’s so many”

which...I tend to catch typos pretty quickly, but sometimes I type really fast and mix up a couple words and don’t realize, so even tho the red lines are annoying when they pop up each time I write “McGucket”, it’s kinda nice to have them around.

#I didn't even know Word would turn off spellcheck after a certain amount of misspellings #keep in mind this is just my Word doc where I keep the writing prompt meme answers #freeform prompts are their own doc and it's 44 pages #and then ofc there's the Word doc where I put my random drabbles that I intend to post #that's only 18 pages #and then the grandaddy of them all is my Word doc #where I keep fic drabbles that I do not plan on ever posting for Reasons #I've had that one for a while now #it's 121 pages long #AND THEN I've got scrapped things from multichaps and it's just....#there is so much writing in my fanfic folder #I write too much. I write WAY too much #pretty sure I've written a couple novels' worth of fanfic by this point #asldfkn someone stop me #speecher speaks

Fic update: got out the sketchpad again and hashed out some of the questions that have been worrying me about the next couple chapters. Nothing new in the file yet, but that's still real progress! We'll see how it goes.

Novel update: First gap on page 121 of 146! Catching up to myself. I'm still in a really chunky part of the outline, so hopefully I'll continue to move forward at this kind of rate for the next while. I also have the probably-last-scene written, but there's a gap right before it that I'm not sure about, which is the only reason I'm not like !!!!vibrating!!!with!!!almost!!!!finished!!!vibes because other than that I'm REALLY REALLY close to finishing the draft.

Short story update: it's simmering. I've got some of the foundation laid but I need to know more about it emotionally before I can really start writing, and that means perspective. That means time.

Overall an excellent writing day! Hope to have some of the same luck after work tomorrow.

Before we get into this, I just wanted to thank you all for sticking with me this year even though I haven't posted much as you guys will see 😅.

College is really kicking my butt compared to other years because of my two jobs which leaves me with little time and energy to write. But I'm almost finished with all three on the 17th so hopefully, I'll post some more things before the year ends. I'll try to write more winter-themed writing to go with the season. Here are some winter prompts - one, two, three, four - you guys can use for requests. The requests will probably be gif imagines but I'll try to see if I can churn out at least one drabble/one shot.

Answering this ask here since I'm basically doing an update but I do still write for Ever After High. But like with Monster High, it's been years since I've watched/written for it so I do need a refresher before I write about it again so I can get the personalities right but you can still send in requests for it. You just might have to wait a while for it. Sorry about that!

It was like time slowed down as she watched someone come up from behind [Name], knife in hand and poised to kill her. Even though she tried to portray herself as strong and unwavering in from of the Coalition, at that moment she felt like a helpless young child just like when Costia was kidnapped by Azgeda. In that situation, she couldn’t do anything as she had been advised to stay at Polis while guards would go in her steed to find Costia which proved to be fruitless when she received her girlfriend’s head.

But this wouldn’t be like that. She would not allow another person she loved to be taken away from her by enemy hands. Pulling out the knife she had strapped to her waist, she threw it with deadly accuracy as time seem to move normally once more. Though she wouldn’t let it be seen on her face, relief filled her at the cry of pain the assassin let at when the knife lodged itself in his arm. Walking over to him, Lexa forced him onto his knees as she moved to stand in front of [Name]. “Attack her and you attack me.”

Imagine Luke being jealous about your closeness with Bobby

Usually, the garage has always been filled with music or the sounds of instruments playing as the guys came every day to practice their songs. Being close friends with the band members, [Name] spent every moment of her free time with them, enjoying being the first person to hear their playing and on a few occasions, being able to offer her input on some of the lyrics. But with Alex and Reggie having gone out to get drinks and snacks for the practice, the garage was unusually quiet as Luke, Bobby, and [Name] were left to their own devices as they waited for the others to return for practice to resume again.

Having been hit with some lyrical inspiration, Luke had been immersed in his journal leaving the other two to entertain themselves. And this was things were going for the next few minutes before the sound of [Name]’s laughter and the sound of pages turning caught his attention. Looking up, he watched as Bobby and [Name] shared a magazine between themselves while the latter rested her head on the former’s shoulders. Pointing at something on the page, Bobby whispered something in her ear causing her to let out a gasp and raise a hand to flick his forehead before the two broke into a fit of laughter. Shaking her head, [Name] looped her arm with Bobby’s as she snuggled closer to him.

Not noticing that Luke was looking at them, they remained oblivious to the glare he was sending Bobby as the grip on his pen tightened. He had always felt something for [Name] ever since Bobby has introduced her to the guys as his best friend. The two seemed to share the same sense of humor and a love of [favorite food]. Always eager to listen and ask questions as Luke shared the process of what led him to write the song he shared with her, he just began looking forward to [Name]’s presence at the garage and having another reason to look forward to practice. But just as his interest in [Name] grew, so did his observation of her interactions with the others but more specifically Bobby.

Luke knew how close [Name] was to Bobby after all he’s the one who knew her the longest as they grew up together. Whenever someone asked if they were dating, the two were always quick to say that they were just friends but their closeness and interactions always seemed to straddle the line between being platonic and being something more which left Luke feeling confused and jealous. He was just about to say something - ask [Name] to check over his new song, an excuse to have her near him - when the garage door opened.

“Guess who’s back and before you ask, no Bobby. We didn’t forget your drink this time.”

Imagine Alex being jealous when she sees another girl flirting with you

“Alex, I know that look on your face and whatever you’re thinking about, you shouldn’t do it,” Harper said as her eyes darted back from her best friend to [Name] who was currently in conversation with another girl. The three had decided to go to the mall and just pass time since the day seemed like it would be a good one to go out and walk for. They had already hit a number of shops already where they had all mostly wandered around and not bought anything except for Harper who had found some nice accessories and they were gonna walk into a new one when someone called out to [Name].

“I’ll only be a few minutes,” she said before stepping away to catch up with the mystery person who was quick to pull her into a hug.

“You don’t even know what I’m thinking about,” Alex said though her eyes didn’t move away from [Name]. Narrowing her eyes and glaring at the other girl who had pulled her away from them.

“I might not but I know how you feel about [Name] and how jealous you get.”

“I do not get jealous!” Realizing she said that louder than she meant to, her eyes turned to Harper when she saw the confused look [Name] and the girl gave her. Letting out a huff, she repeated the sentence more quietly, ignoring the smug look Harper gave her. “I don’t get jealous.”

Imagine being Zach’s friend and going to Jurassic World with him and Gray

“You know it’s okay to enjoy being here at the park right?” [Name] said as she made her way to Zach who looked annoyed as he leaned against the wall from where he was watching Gray. Not responding to her teasing, Zach just stayed silent. Rolling her eyes at his stubbornness, she shook her head as she tried a different approach. “You know how excited Gray was for this trip. He’s not going to have as much fun if you don’t participate; he looks up to you.”

At the sigh he gave out, [Name] grinned; she finally got through to him. Taking him by the hand, she began dragging him to Gray who was currently interacting with one of the exhibits. “Okay but I get to pick the first ride we go on,” he said.

Imagine getting the guys caught up on modern popular culture

Looking through her DVD cabinet, [Name] looked for movies she felt were important and set them aside when she found them. Helping Julie by entertaining the guys while she went out with her family, [Name] knew the perfect thing to do would be a movie night. The guys would be able to catch up on what they have missed out on so far and she would have a fun night with the guys. She already had an idea of some movies they would enjoy - Star Wars for Reggie - but she also wanted to pick out other things that Alex and Luke might be interested in case they weren’t in a science-fiction mood.

“Okay, I think I got a good number of movies for you all to pick from,” [Name] said as she walked back to her living room and laid out the film on the coffee table. “If none of them seem interesting then I can try finding something on the internet.
