ABSOLUTELY I'm always down to talk about my kiddos lol~

🌹 Where in the world does your OC feel most at home? Is there any reason why? If it’s not the place they were born, where were they born? Is there a certain somebody that makes them feel at home where ever they may be? What does home mean to them?

Lazarus: Man. I don't know if he's got a place like that. The closest is probably when he gets to nap as a wolf, curled up under a tree or maybe on Eurydice's lap, but he's SO guarded and on edge that he doesn't get to feel like that much. We just got confirmation that he was NOT from Barovia, just somewhere on the Material Plane, but not sure where bc his grandfather wasn't exactly forthcoming lol. Eurydice most of the time- she let him squat in her orphanage's barn and never tried to pressure him too much, but she DOES sort of hover and fuss in ways that he doesn't like (but so many people do that rn). Home is somewhere people don't judge him.

Keev: It used to be his family's kitchen at home, but.... He hasn't actually been back since the accident (being declared dead, buried, and then deemed an undead abomination even though you're NOT (technically) undead, just barely connected to the living sort of puts a damper on going home.) And knowing that his parents knew he'd die if he became a wizards' apprentice but didn't fight the assignment bc it was an honor for their family, makes it a LITTLE soured. But really, any time he gets to cook feels comforting, or, failing that, just spending time w/ his twin sister. (She's sort of his whole world) Home to Keev is comfort. Protection. A warm place to let down your guard- a hearth.

🍁 Where does your OC go when they need to have some time to themself? Would they ever have their own “comfort corner” filled with all the things they like? Do they have a favourite spot outside that feels like its theirs and theirs alone?

Lazarus: Usually he just f-cks off to the woods outside Valaki lmao~ The hayloft in the barn is also a usual haunt for him- it's where he sleeps and hides the stuff he's found/stolen, and where he goes when he doesn't need to work off excess energy (Q has also added some decorations, like a large stop sign her fey prince gave her) In the forest there's definitely an area with more scratched up trees that he frequents for working off energy, hunting small animals, and just climbing up trees to nap or sulk lol

Keev: Right now, he and his sister are on the road too much- they don't have a 'base' outside a magical shelter, so it's difficult to make a place feel like "his". But he does like journaling and pressing flowers, so that may count as a "comfort corner" as he doesn't remember anything after they passed the magical barrier outside their home country. He'll just turn invisible and slink off if he gets overwhelmed, but most times right now he doesn't want to be too far from his sister.

🌺 What does your OC do to calm down when they’re scared or after a nightmare? Do they have any special comfort items or need to be reassured by a specific person? How do they handle this if they’re alone?

Lazarus: Depends on what's scaring him TBH. Most times, he'll just bolt, maybe drop some Darkness and then start jumping through shadows, but LATELY the source of his fear has been Kindness and Strahd, which has been.... tricky, and he's been freezing up as part of him wants to run and another part instinctively wants to obey. After the scare has passed, he usually has a lot of pent up energy and he gets aggressive or needs to let it out somewhere, like just running, hitting something, or scratching up a tree if he can't pick a fight

Keev: So much stimming! Usually he seeks out his sister to tell her about it and just not be alone, because he's had quite a few meltdowns and panic attacks recently from his claustrophobia and other recent fears, and since his magic is tied to fear and reacts to it, it can be dangerous. If he's alone, he tends to just withdraw and curl up to ride it out as best he can

💫What is your favourite fact about this character and why?

Lazarus: ....okay so I JUST found out he was literally MADE from pieces of the rest of his vampiric family, then basically "jump-started" by a great old one, which is WILD- like what a way to have a biologically connected vampire den??? And I love that bc the DM just casually dropped that at the end of last session and reminded us that he mentioned that Laz' arms are different skin tones sdfghjkl;??

Keev: He's agnostic even though he's literally met several gods because he's seen them be fallible and doesn't think they've proven themselves more worthy of worship than anyone else. Also in his ideal world, he could be a paladin who draws faith from other people and their inherent goodness (But he's not very confident in his martial abilities as he was trained classically in arcana and now dealing with shadow magic)

albedo who offers you his hand and leads you to the rooftop so the two of you can take some time away from the crowds together. sometimes, he even locks the door to the rooftop from the outside to prevent people from intruding. it's fine, they'd probably just think that the rooftop is "closed for the day" (when it really is just him /lh). don't worry, according to albedo's words, "this is completely legal and it guarantees privacy."

(bonus: albedo who always reserves a corner in every piece of paper he has to sketch you. when you flip through his notebook, there's just a doodle of you on the bottom right of each page. "i'm afraid it's become a habit i don't wish to get rid of," he admits. how can he say that with such a pretty smile on his face.)

cyno who likes putting your hands into his pockets or his hands in your pockets. as long as he can hold your hands and there's pockets, he doesn't mind either. cyno says that he does this "because it feels nice", but it's probably so he can bury his face on your shoulder and fall asleep. if people send you weird looks, he'll shoot those back tenfolds. this guy is a loyal bodyguard!

tighnari who lends you his notes without even needing you to ask for them. strangely enough, you're surprised to find out that he drew smiley faces and adorable flowers as decorations. tighnari claims it's "to make the notes more immersive", but the unspoken truth is that he looks forward to see the way you smile when you see those doodles. you and only you get to see these notes, after all <3

gorou who likes preparing packed lunches or homemade bentos for you. it's no hassle at all, he really enjoys preparing these for you! knowing that he is doing something for you fills his chest with pride and affection. no, no, he definitely doesn't try his hardest to make sure the tiny whiskers on the bunny-shaped onigiris look good. not at all! (/lh)

ofc, your vibes are super wholesome! hey do you guys wanna hear about another weird kinda bad dream I had feat. the brother who hasn't spoken to me since I came out?

just kidding you don't have a choice <3

okay so for whatever reason I had to go alone to my brother's house to pick up some cupcakes his wife had made. when I got there it was a little awkward because I guess in this little dream world, she and I used to make and decorate these cupcakes together, so my nonexistent invitation to decorate them with her was an elephant in the room.

another elephant in the room was the whole thing with my brother just kinda not acknowledging my existence for a year+, especially because he was in the next room over and we could see each other through the shadowboxes* in the wall.

*little boxes/holes cut out of the wall to create see-through shelves

chatting with my sister in law was fine, she was friendly at least and I complimented her on the cupcake decorating numerous times (and not in a salty passive aggressive way). idk what my brother was doing but at some point he answered the phone and was clearly talking about me to somebody??? idk who

what I remember is basically this:

"yeah it's getting [the cupcakes] now" (bitch I'm a he/they)

"it looks like a demon" (dream me, were you doing hrt?)

*actually addresses me with a demonic sounding name* (wtf)

*just generally is icky and weird and it was uncomfortable to listen to*

after that it gets fuzzy and I take the baked goods (which start to kinda fluctuate between being cupcakes and cookies through the rest of the dream) and gladly leave the house and the dream plot changes to different wacky dream stuff.

the parts that really stuck with me were the ones with my brother involved, which makes sense. still really sucks that he's apparently written me off, especially because as a kid i looked up to him and thought he was cool, if a bit scary. he was always My Niece's Dad rather than my brother because his daughter was the same age as me, so we never got to be close like siblings, and he had some real intimidating authoritative dad energy.

I still have not had a single interaction with him since I texted him that I was trans in like.. August 2020. not a one. I feel like if he was cool with it he would've said SOMETHING to me in the span of a whole frickin year, so idk what else to think other than he obviously has an issue with it. I mean my subconscious clearly believes he's some flavor of transphobe since I've had a few dreams about that now. I just dunno what to do about it.

it's not just me he's left high and dry at least? he kind of ignores this whole chunk of the family nowadays, going back even before I came out. but at least he still texted mom and dad (misspelled) birthday or anniversary wishes. he didn't ghost them completely.

it stands to reason that someday we will have to see each other again. I mean he almost came over last week to help our dad with his truck. (he bailed of course bc he can't be assed to help his family these days.) until it actually happens I have no idea how it's gonna go, but hopefully I'll be confident enough that I can handle whatever he might do/say.

Who In Your Ship:

drives when they go on road trips? do they switch at the halfway point? does one drive there and the other drive back?

It's who ever's less tired or just wants to. It's one of those things they just have to do and want to be over and done with.

Roman is a radio hog no matter if he's the one driving or not.

looks over the menu for fifteen minutes before ordering the same thing they order EVERYWHERE they go? does the other half of your ship get annoyed by this, or do they find it endearing?

Roman's a foodie; he likes to know what all his options are. But a lot of the time he also wants to get something he knows he'll like. Drew finds it annoyingly endearing.

is more likely to get arrested?

...Drew. ...Just... sometimes certain types of people can really set him off and he gets a little... well, psycho. Great for in the ring... not so much in public.

is afraid of rollercoasters? does the other half of your ship try and convince them to face the fear, or do they take a softer approach and not push them at all?

Roman's not big on heights and crazy rides. Prefers the slower stuff. He can actually enjoy those and have fun. Rollercoasters aren't really Drew's thing either way, but he had fun goading Roman on to one once.

"C'mooon. You'll go against anyone and anything in the ring, but a little bumping does you in, Big Dog?"

"First of all, that isn't ''a little'' anything. Second, fine. But if I die I'm coming back to haunt you."

shows up at home with a dog unannounced despite the fact they’ve already got three/four/however many pets?

Roman. He loves animals. Especially Dogs. (So do his brothers Seth and Dean. They're all bad influences for each other. When it comes to them.) So what if they already have a pomeranian, two chihuahuas, and a house cat? What's one more cute and fluffy family member? I mean really?

It drives Drew up the wall, because the only one he can really tolerate is the cat (They have a shared understanding of each other) and they always have people coming to their door looking for their bloody animals.

demands that they do date night? does the other person complain or do they go with it just to see the excited look on their partners face?

Roman. He's a total romantic. Mostly for the little shows of it. So the big things aren't something he needs all the time or even often. But there are times when the big ones go a long way with him.

Like they go out a lot, to just be together, however they don't really call them dates. It's just mutually nice. But sometimes Roman's bit by a love bug and wants a date date. And Drew obliges to keep the bf happy because he wants the bf happy.

is the clumsy one whose always tripping up flights of stairs or over their own feet? does it stress the other half of your ship out or do they find it hilarious?

Neither one is really clumsy. In fact, for two behemoths, they're suprising graceful.

*picks the music when they’re in the car? does the other complain about their taste in music?

insists on paying for everything when they’re out? do they fight about it?

Neither one really cares, but sometimes Drew takes it upon himself to be a little annoying. And then Roman will do the same next time to get him back for being a tit.

is the one to quietly suggest they get high together for the first time? how does the other half of your ship react?

Oh man. Well seeing as he has a nice plug in Dean and Renee, Roman. Drew dosen't have anything against it he just happens to not do it. And Roman wanted to see him high sooooooo baaad.

is secretly terrified of horror movies and yet watches them all the time bc its something the other half of your ship loves?

Roman, 'cause Drew likes a good scary movie. And it gives him a reason to curl up to him for comfort. (Which is also why Drew picks them in the first place a lot of the time.) Roman's ok with monster movies; you can physically fight monsters. It's the supernatural stuff that messes with him.

talks in their sleep? does their partner record it and call them out, or not tell them and keep it as a secret so they can keep enjoying it?

Roman talks in his sleep. Mostly loving on his brothers, pets, or Drew in his sleep. Drew secretly loves it. It's pure and soft and for his eyes only. Especially when there are little moans mixed in. He has started something more than once, kissing Roman awake once he heard those.

brings up the conversation of marriage + babies? how does the conversation go?

Roman wants allllll the kids ok. He has too much big dad energy to not want kids. It as to go somewhere. It'd be a long while before they have that conversation though. And Drew's gonna be caught off guard by it no matter when.

has to pull the other back by their back of their sweater when they try and do something stupid in public?

Both have had to. For trying to fight idiots in public. Roman more so 'cause Drew has like zero patience for people's bullshit.

is more likely to pick the other up from the airport with an obnoxiously large cardboard sign? what does the sign say?

YES. It's a dumb joke between them at this point.

Both on occasions. Roman goes all out with a proper home cooked breakfast. Drew was very dimple-y that morning.

Drew, but it depends. They both like working out but Roman can be a little lazy or in a mood about it. But by the end he'd have had a good time.

Roman loves emojis. More so when he finds out Drew hates excessive use of them. It got so bad Drew gave him a limit. No more than two per paragraph or "bad things will happen".

They drive each other nuts with how much they mess with each other, already. Only a few times has it turned into a full-blown Prank War. Which Roman is really good at 'cause uhhhh Dean. Drew knows he can't win.

Drew. He loves throwing up sarcastic sickeningly sweet pet names. He knows how they sound coming from someone like him. And sometimes he'll say them close to Roman's ear just to see him squirm.

Neither. But we're talking about the big ones.

Roman likes to keep track of the little ones. Ya know, just to think about and reminisce.

...Drew. It's something they really have to work on because it has caused a lot of fights. He just gets in these moods sometimes where he "thinks he knows best, and if you don't agree well then that's too damn bad". Roman's used to group compromise. So that kind of attitude get's right up Roman's nose, and he's too strong willed himself to deal with it so they clash.

It was surprisingly Drew. When they weren't at all together or even that friendly with each other but were sleeping together fairly regularly. ...It was a very confusing time. And something that had been bubbling up for awhile.

Roman likes his "beauty sleep" and sleepin' in. Hates being woken up. Drew just likes to get his day started.

Oh my god, Drew is the worst with this. It's always, "ahh, I'll be fine". But then not that long into whatever they're doing he'll sit and act like he's not cold, and Roman'll roll his eyes and pass him the extra jacket he brought.

When they do do date dates. It's because Drew knows Roman wants one. And good food goes a long way. But when they want something chill either one pulls out board games.

They both like shower. They're quick and they have places to be. But when they have the time Roman suggests a nice long soak together. Helps with soreness sometimes.

They either go to each other's families, their friend's, or just have a little thing for themselves. Roman has a ball cooking special things for them.

Roman named his pomeranian Tiger, and his chihuahua Tiny and his smaller chihuahua Mini. He baby talks to him a lot.

They both have a strong need to control things. And it's amplified when things go wrong so they clash there at times too.

Instant mutual dislike. But strangely attracted.

Control. They're both so stubborn and strong willed it causes a lot of friction at times.
