College Resources
hey y'all so I have a degree in math, and have been tutoring college level math, stats, physics, and study skills for a few years now and I have several certifications as a college level tutor and in my years tutoring I've picked up a lot of absolutely essential things you NEED to know to pass math classes (and others!) if you have a hard time in math class, which unfortunately most schools will not teach you
so if you're in college (or high school, but some of these will be college specific) and you would like to hear my Professional Tips for how to survive math in college I have compiled a list of things I think you should know below the read more! I'm going to put a couple general tips at the top though for people who aren't taking a math class
alright, welcome to the read more! let's start with some general things
ok I'm starting with a kind of tip before the tips: if you are disabled, talk to disability support services at your school. a lot of times they provide services to attain a diagnosis if you don't have one, but if you do it's typically pretty easy to get accommodations and if your teachers try not to follow them, they will get in A LOT of trouble (I'm in the us so idk how disability laws are in other countries but here this is a big deal for universities bc public funding etc and if you make a complaint they will be FORCED to comply). I'm not saying bad experiences never happen, I've not been to every school in the us and I'm sure there are places that suck abt this, but I literally would not have been able to get a degree in math without accommodations (I'm autistic and have dyscalculia + memory issues) so it was worth every annoyed sigh by a dumbass teacher (which honestly rarely happened. most of them were cool). some possible accommodations include, extra time on tests, separate testing locations, formula cards, ability to use notes etc etc
I work in a free tutoring center at my local community college. while I won't say these are definitely universal, every college I have encountered (in the US, where I live) has one of these. Google the name of your school with tutoring. there is a very high chance you have free tutors available in a variety of subjects who are ready to help you. you should utilize the fuck out of this bc ur already probably paying for it in ur tuition
my favorite resource ever is one you may have heard of but I'm reminding you of it anyway. the Crash Course YouTube channel! it has free comprehensive videos about various subjects (including anatomy, physics, biology, economics, statistics and lots lots more). the videos are about 10 minutes each and they're incredibly easy to understand. they're an amazing way to study for finals. trust me on this one. they actually now have real introductory college courses that you can take for credit (tho I think you have to pay for that?) through YouTube so check into that!
take notes!!!!!!!! for real. seriously. even if you've never had to before. trust me. and don't just copy exactly what the board says, write what your teacher says out loud as well, that is often the most important stuff. I highly recommend investing in a few colored pens and/or highlighters. anytime the teacher says something important (such as formulas in a math class or a grammar rule in an English class) either write it in another color, or highlight it. color coding your notes even the tiniest bit will help you tremendously when you're studying and doing homework later. this doesn't mean having a color code so elaborate and strict that you're spending more time and energy figuring out the right color than listening and writing. I usually do the bulk of my notes in black then things like formulas or whatever in one bright color and extra bits of info from the teacher in another, this way it's easier to find the important stuff later on
if you've got a couple extra bucks, invest in a mini stapler. you'll be shocked how often those lil bitches come in handy
DO NOT EVER purchase your text books before the classes start (unless you get like an email before class starts telling you you need the book, but this is pretty rare tbh). half of your teachers are going to tell you on day 1 that they don't use the book at all. and honestly almost all of your books can be found by googling the name + pdf. just triple check that you have the correct edition!
speaking of emails, CHECK YOUR FUCKING SCHOOL EMAIL. I am so dead serious about this one. set up notifications on your phone. if you do not check your email you are going to show up for cancelled classes, miss assignment corrections, and generally not do nearly as well in your classes. I know this sounds fake but holy fucking shit please for the love of all that is good and holy check your fucking email. seriously.
the best way to study for your finals is to look at past tests and homework! if your teacher isn't a total dick they'll give you back your tests and homework. when studying for your final, go through and redo any that you got wrong, and look over the ones you got right. teachers usually take final questions from old tests and homework so if you do this it's very possible you'll study your exact finals questions. if they won't give you these back, reread your notes (in a way I'll describe in a moment)
reread your notes the same day you take them or very soon after so the lecture is still fresh in your mind! when you do this, grab a colored pen and take notes on your notes. I know this sounds ridiculous but it's actually a very important study tool. if you come across something you wrote that is confusing, write out an explanation. write down extra things that will help you understand the material. if there's something that you don't understand or don't remember PLEASE ask your teacher. some of them won't answer email so catch them in office hours or after class if you can. at the end of the semester when you're studying for finals, do this all over again but through your whole notebook for the semester (not all at once. pls take breaks lmfao)
if your teacher doesn't offer it up at the end of the semester, ask "can you please tell us some of the topics we should emphasize when studying for our finals?" (you can also say this in a far less pretentious way but I've found that professors are more likely to give you a real answer if you talk like this ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) I'm ngl, some of em will be assholes about this. they may laugh at the idea and snarkily say "look at your homework" or some shit equivalent. roll your eyes at these old bitches and move on. but many if not most will at least give y'all some idea of what to expect. and crucially: write down what they say and use it as a study guide
okey dokey!! that concludes the general section. now I'm gonna talk about some math specific stuff that will help you a lot if you struggle with math!
starting with an easy one: get a good calculator. please for the love of GOD do not get the TI-30X IIS unless you love it and are EXTREMELY familiar with all of the different operations. I'm sorry but this calculator sucks ass and it will hold you back. for about the same price you can get my personal favorite the Casio FX-115ES Plus (1st edition only, I haven't tried the 2nd edition bc I don't like change) or an FX-991 EX. if you're a Texas instruments guy get a TI 30XS or if ur doing calc and shit I'd get a 36X pro. I just prefer Casio personally lmao. in all likelihood your math teacher will be a calculator nerd who can teach you how to use any of these but there are also lots of videos made by calculator nerds on YouTube as well
so next I just want to emphasize how important your notes are. you cannot pass a math class without good notes unless it's a class you've already taken or something, and honestly even then I'd recommend you write some stuff down because the thing about math is there are a lot of different ways to do the same thing. which brings me to my next point
pay attention to the process your teacher uses to solve problems (I'll give an example in a sec) and especially to how they write the process down. if you're like me and you have trouble with the whole "show your work" thing this will help a lot, because you can use what your teacher writes down as a guideline for what you should write down. for instance, you may have learned about a math concept like permutations and combinations in high school one way, and then be taught a completely different way of performing the calculation in college. if this happens, ask your teacher about your way. sometimes their way is better for a specific reason and it's really important that you learn it. sometimes they'll say it doesn't matter just do what makes the most sense to you. sometimes you will also not get full credit if you do things a different way too so be careful and pay attention to what your teacher says abt it. you may have also been taught to show some steps in an operation but not others and your new teacher may want all of them. or none. or different ones. unfortunately math has a lot of variations
similarly, if there's a concept you don't understand, start by asking your teacher about it first bc they may want you doing a specific thing. if they're not helpful and you don't have access to a tutor turn to the internet. here are my recommendations for resources: Khan Academy has videos and examples explaining concepts in pretty much all types of math. usually really helpful because they'll show you several different methods and use different explanations, MathWay for classes that come before trig/calc. you can use it for those but it's a little more annoying lol specifically in regards to graphing and solving integrals and shit. this tool has A LOT of stuff in it but is best as a calculator to check your work on stuff and for showing you graphs that have transformations and shit like that from college algebra. it's got settings for different math types and even chemistry tho!, for more complicated graphing I'd use Desmos. you can use this in all classes but it's just a bit more complicated imo and it's more made for complex operations so I prefer to use MathWay as much as possible bc it's just more user friendly., there's also Symbolab which a lot of my fellow tutors really like but I personally tend to use the others more, Wolfram Alpha is a pretty well known one. tbh I find it kind of hard to use sometimes so i usually use it as a last resort lmfao but it is really good!, this last one is calculus specific (including things like calc based physics ofc) but derivative calculator and integral calculator are everything to me. could not have gotten through calc 2 and 3 w/o these mfs
OK THIS PART IS REALLY IMPORTANT!! we're going to talk about how you can make your math tests WAY easier on you and massively improve your chances of passing. here's what you're going to do for every test
1. when studying for your test, go through and find ALL formulas that you used in the unit(s) your test is over (this includes formulas you learned previously but used in this unit as well!!)
2. commit them to memory. easiest way to do this (besides practicing using them!!) is to rewrite them a few times including what you use them for and what all of the symbols and letters stand for
3. when you go in to take your test, spend like 5-10 minutes beforehand, right up until they make you put everything away, studying and rewriting these
4. the SECOND the test hits your desk, flip it over and write down every single formula immediately (including as much extra info like when to use and variable definitions as possible). now you won't have to try to remember them 30 minutes in when your brain is frying!!
5. go through the test and read each question carefully. if you can't remember how to solve it within 30 seconds skip it. you might only do 4 or 5 questions (maybe less depending on the length of your test) after the first pass, but just go back to the beginning and do it again, giving urself a little more time w each pass. this will ensure that you're not spending 45 minutes on problem 4 and having no time to get to the rest of the test. additionally with math it is extremely common to basically find the answer to how to do one problem while you're doing another problem. doing the ones you know first will also boost your confidence and help prevent anxiety from wiping ur brain. this is a really really important part of math tests
6. before you hand your test in, make sure you've written SOMETHING down on EVERY SINGLE QUESTION. even if you have absolutely 0 idea whatsoever what to do, there is always a chance for partial credit. a lot of times, you also know more than you think you do. so even if you can only do half a step of the whole process, half a point is better than 0!! if you really have no clue what to do, make something up. I know this probably sounds ridiculous but I'm so deadass. once I was taking a physics test and could not for the life of me remember what formula to use so I just made one up based on my vague idea of how it worked lmao. I wrote off to the side "I know this isn't how physics works, but I can't remember that so just pretend I'm god for a second" and I got like 75% of the points bc the teacher appreciated the effort!! there were fucking countless times when I was taking a test and I got to a point where I knew the steps of what I was supposed to do but could not figure out HOW to actually DO the math. so I wrote in words my understanding of what the next steps were. even though I didn't finish answering the question, I always got points for trying. this is what teachers are wanting from you. effort. so PLEASE write literally anything even if you're just making that shit up (just explain your reasoning in words to the side, as long as you're using logic you're really getting the essence of math anyway). you would not BELIEVE how fast your grades will improve by doing this. I tutored a girl who went from Ds to Bs within literally 2 weeks of starting tutoring just because she stopped leaving any questions blank and started getting partial credit
that's all the important stuff I can think of for now though I'm sure there's much more so I may update this in the future!
of course everyone is going to have a different experience and relationship with math. so adjust all of these tips to fit how you learn best. please try to remember that learning math is a very important part of developing your critical reasoning and logistical analysis skills. these are essential to understanding and interacting with the world and math is just a way of exercising those muscles. trust me when I say I know how infuriating math can be. I have dyscalculia and a math degree. I've spent so many hours crying over math you probably wouldn't even believe me. but it's worth it! and frankly, if you're in college, you're paying a lot of money for this class. you deserve to get everything you possibly can out of it
above all, if you're having trouble ASK FOR HELP. ask your teacher, ask your classmates, ask the head of the department, ask student services, ask Google!! and if you need help you can always ask me! :) I love helping people with this stuff and even if I don't know the answer to your question I'm pretty good at knowing where to look for them!

Hey hey, sliding this in under the door in the morning:
For the book as meme, 4 (fav sci-fi), 13 (fav thriller), and 37 (least fav trope used in a way that works for you)?
Did not actually read-read the other responses yet, so questions may have duplicated.
4) Favorite sci-fi: The answer I gave carrionfourth was: "The Ship Who Sang and Dragonsdawn by Anne McCaffrey. Ancillary Mercy by Ann Leckie. Exit Strategy and Network Effect by Martha Wells. The Galaxy and the Ground Within by Becky Chambers. Rescues and the Rhyssa by TS Porter". I stand by all that, it's absolutely correct, but now I'm also thinking about Anne McCaffrey's works in general, and the incredible impact it had on me when I was a kid, to see her work her worldbuilding around so that she had fantasy staples like dragons (the Dragonriders of Pern) and unicorn girls (literally she named that series 'Acorna the Unicorn Girl'. I am in awe) and selkies (the Petaybee serieses) but with so much space travel and science around them that the books themselves still felt clearly sci-fi. She's not the only one, not by a long shot, but she was the first I read, and she changed the way I thought about genre conventions on a fundamental basis. There's a good chance that without her, I wouldn't have ever bothered reading any sci-fi, actually. There was a little chunk of time there where it seemed very much to me that fantasy books were for people (mostly girls) who liked animals and cared about having friends and sci-fi was for people (mostly men) who liked being very smart and having other people be afraid of them, and if I'd kept going with that mentality I think I'd be a much unhappier person today.
13) Favorite thriller: Well, having just said all that about being so glad I was taught to think outside the genre binary as a child, now I must confess I don't read a lot of thrillers. There's a level/type of suspense that just translates as stress to me, in a way I don't particularly enjoy (I watched a couple episodes of the Fargo show with Duncan and the intensity kept ramping up and when we turned the tv off my neck and shoulders ached. I'm just not good at it). I do really like mysteries--favorite mystery novel is probably The Secret of Chimneys by Agatha Christie; I mostly preferred the Marple shows but I love the Poirot books--and romantic suspense is great--Elizabeth Lowell (fave Lowell book is Always Time to Die) and Jayne Ann Krentz (Lie to Me) are both fantastic romantic suspense writers--and the crossover of both that is the JD Robb In Death series is an unending delight to me. But mostly I'd say I go for mysteries or adventures over thrillers.
37) Least fav trope used in a way that works for you: I really love The Last-Herald Mage trilogy by Mercedes Lackey, even though it has a tremendous amount of angst and suffering compared to my normal tastes, kills off the main character's love interest in the first book, and then has him show up again reincarnated to pair off with the main character once more. Only Mercedes Lackey could keep me genuinely invested through that storyline. Azure Bonds by Kate Novak and Jeff Grubb, also: amnesia, followed by false memories, with a final flourish of 'am I even a real person if these are my origins', but actually the book's a heckin romp. It's the first in the Finder's Stone trilogy, which is overall deeply entertaining but a real nightmare to try to explain or describe to people who haven't read it.

I'm so very happy w/fs2, but a small part of me is tinitiny (very tiny) bit salty about the reconciliation going your way (that's not a beef, I love you tremendously!). you were so sure that rin should be the one to step up, even though majority seemed to disagree (on my dash), but they still went your way. it makes all the sense now to me that it happened and I'm just wondering if that's my bias-ness for rin that blinded me, since I was one of the idiots politely arguing with you after the fs1
LOL I think it's perfectly fine that you feel that way, bc it's kinda a forever debate between to say tsunderes/antisocial ppl/silent types who watch such couples and the social ones. I'm just saying it bc I myself when watching such ships with my hommies, it's literally EVERY TIME one part of the couch goes (aka my mom) "but he (Haru or Lan Zhan or Qiling or Sangwoo or etc) doesn't talk, how's he supposed to know" or "that doesn't count unless u say" or "he should've…lalala" and the other part of the couch (aka me and my sister who don't talk but show things other way) start to agressively disagree and it literally always ends like this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And I mean, ofc depending on your personality you would watch things differently and feel things differently bc we express our feelings differently. Like I've only recently watched this korean gay dating show where there was a guy who also didn't talk but I from other things from the start guessed who he liked and then at the end turned out that none of the participants there "saw it coming" which to me was pretty wild lmao. So my point is, I got it a long time ago from real life harshly and in many comments under different shows that most people find it hard to understand these signs or even see it. On behalf of "my species" I apologize, but sometimes thats the best we can do really.
I always due to this try to look at these (my favorite) types of pairings from both sides, even tho I know I'm clearly biased too. And my main argument in this cases (as in who must "step up" as you say) is that if one despite of who he is tried as hard as he could to deliver his feelings even painfully so surpassing his comfort zone and the other didn't, then the one who should be stepping up is the one who didn't. I think thats how it usually works at the end. I just know from my own feelings that for them it was very hard to step out of their comfort zone and thats why in such stories writers always reward them at the end for that I think.
That being said in that particular case also I think you have to watch it from the point of who in his way did everything he could when it comes to their relationships and was fully invested without lying to himself and who wasn't. And it was Rin who constantly backtracked due to being scared (for respectable reasons, but still), Haru was fully in for a long time. I just think bc of all the metaphors about swimming and water and the fact that they also want to be together everywhere for life including their profession, some mixed up a bit here the professional and personal aspects.
Like when it comes to their way in professional life goals it was Rin who had no fear and Haru did (also for his own respectable reasons). But when it comes to their feelings it was Haru who had no fear, since the very beginning, but Rin did.
Also personally for me actions always speak louder than words, but at the same time I do understand that hearing some things are also very much needed. So I think its fine to feel both ways, I personally don't really get mad when ppl don't get it.
The only thing that gets me going into a heavy debate sometimes is the fact that some throw around stuff like "well he must express himself more normally" or smth in the orbit, indicating that if you don't express yourself with words specifically, you're an asshole/insensitive or smth like that, nevermind the fact that someone there cut their leg to save his future husband's life you know haha. Which to me is hilarious since its these types of characters that in my opinion are more sensitive and deeper head over heels than others. Bc at the end they due to the fact that for them its ususally the only exception thing, if they enter this territory, they usually drown very deeply and unrecoverably. Meaning once they're in they're all in, there's not gonna be any denial/stepping back an etc.
And I just also don't see the point (when it comes to love) of forcing people to express themselves in a way they don't want to. For example, I'll never serenade to someone who I'm in love with, bc I'm just not that kind of person. I wouldn't want to be someone who expects this from me or will get upset that I don't do such stuff. I myself think random little things like that time Rin was talking about Haru's birthday plans and Haru going "I'm not gonna listen untill you'll change your wet clothes, I'm scared you'll get sick" is much sweeter and to me personally enough. I'm not trying to demean here any huge romantic gestures, I just personally do not care for those. But I know all people are different and that's okay.
So I'm just saying that these kind of characters express the feelings in other ways (which to me for some reason are the most touching). So expecting Haru to do stuff from some of the people's wish list that were voiced after fs1 would be just not Haru. Also the problem there was that Rin was scared to dive into love. And what else in your opinion Haru should've done to show him that he's his safe haven I do not get no matter how much I thought about it. Bias or not but after all that patience and understanding, you gotta admit that the only option here already was a shock therapy of maybe taking it all away haha.
So when it comes to love you gotta judge everyone depending on their own scale. Like you certainly can expect us once in love turn from a cocoa bean into hot chocolate just for you, but we won't magically turn into a sugar syrup, if you know what I mean here lmao. And Rin also doesn't want that, bc he loves Haru. If he wanted to pick someone else, he would've LOL
Also I think being biased is also fine (we all are when it comes to our faves) as long as you admit to it and don't start this thing some people start where they seem to only care about one person in a ship. That's already not a shipping in my opinion haha. Like idk why but I seriously hate it the most. Bc even in times when you're certain you're right, you gotta try to see things from both points of views. In all of your own relationships too.
P.S. also forgot to say" haha I win". I'm kidding lmao. Love you too.

People you want to get to know better
Tagged by @dwead-piwate-meggers (thank you! I am having a stressful morning because of boiler noises so this is very sweet and appreciated)
1. Three Ships: Varies on depending what I'm into, but right now - Beau/Yasha from Critical Role, Leliana/F Warden from Dragon Age, Korra/Asami forever.
2. First Ever Ship: The earliest I can ever remember being invested in the relationship side of things I think was either Quasimodo/Esmerelda (Disney version) or Hercules/Meg. Although looking back Esmerelda was my baby gay awakening so I don't even know what was going on there.
3. Last Song: Last one was from tumblr - Sa Ma (Horse Races) by Haihuai Huang. The last song I intentionally listened to was the Punk Rock Factory cover of Poor Unfortunate Souls (an absolute banger).
4. Last Movie: Shotgun Wedding - 3 out of 5. Pretty fun. Last movie I really enjoyed is a hard decision between Knives Out: Glass Onion and the Lost City.
5. Currently Reading: I usually have two physical books and a couple of kindles on the go along with whatever section of Ao3 I am stuck on. Currently:
The Seven Moons of Maali Almeida by Shehan Karuntilaka - really good, a photographer in Sri Lanka who is dead trying to figure out what happened. But holy heck it's a grim read at times.
How to be a Woman by Caitlin Moran - a lot of people get put off by the title because they think it's a guide. It's more how Caitlin herself figured out what it means for her specifically, and she is a tremendously funny writer. She doesn't hold back on descriptions of various bodily fluids.
Crazy Rich Asians Trilogy by Kevin Kwan - this is my go to re-read at the moment. Rachel's reaction to the mad world of the super-rich is extremely relatable but Kevin's true talent is describing beautiful architecture and FOOD. Oh my god the food descriptions. I want to go to a Singapore hawker's market so badly.
The Adventure Zone graphic novels by the McElroys. The next book is out this month! I am ridiculously excited!
6. Currently Watching: Season 2 of the Legend of Vox Machina. I never watched the first campaign as the second was starting around the time I got into it, and this is a great way of saving me 400 hours of my life.
7. Currently Consuming: Tea with milk. I rarely drink tea but I have an engineer in the flat and it feels like I'm not entirely ignoring him if I offer tea periodically. Also it's cold as tits in my flat rn.
8. Currently Craving: I love making Chinese-inspired chicken thighs. The marinade is five-spice, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice wine and ginger. Sometimes I put a little tomato puree in there too. Soak in the marinade for two hours/overnight, and then bake in the oven for 40 mins. They are so good and I am never not wanting them.
Thank you! Tagging for the 'would like to know you better' - @forestlich @thessalian @yamisnuffles

How to Sell fake bags to a Skeptic
I'm sure many of us have heard about phony bags, and even bought them just before. Phony baggage are a tremendous trouble in the present fashion environment. They can be built to look just like designer luggage so It is really not easy to inform that's which. It's this kind of bummer that people would even stoop so minimal and develop these bogus luggage, which not only undoubtedly are a rip off to designer manufacturers but in addition, are small high quality.
When I saw my Close friend which has a designer-wanting bag, I used to be so envious and planned to get one myself. Until eventually I discovered that it was a pretend, and I Pretty much fainted! I had been so mad, realizing that she had almost certainly been jipped of louis vuitton outlet her cash. For making issues worse, the bag wasn't even very well-built nor did it glimpse pretty much as good as the actual point. A couple of days later on the strap broke and that is when she realized it absolutely was a pretend!
The worst portion was which the bag had Price her lots of money. It wasn't low-cost, but the standard was terrrible. It had been painful to observe an acquaintance practical experience this type of loss. I imply, who truly Rewards from these pretend bags? Absolutely nobody. And It can be not simply the big names that faux baggage hurt, and also smaller companies who craft primary bags and possess to compete with phony bags.
I've run into quite a bit of men and women that invest in these bogus luggage since they Assume they could just 'get away with it'. They might get away with it for quite a while, but it is a make any difference of your time just before they know the true price of a bogus bag. It is a squander of money and time. As well as, the morality challenge. It is common know-how that purchasing faux bags is unlawful, and however people today continue to keep purchasing them, regardless.
Nevertheless, in case you end up in the need for any designer-looking bag, there are solutions like 'vintage shops' or perhaps branded outlet suppliers. These shops have remarkable baggage that could search good and very last for a longer period than an everyday faux bag. Not surprisingly, it will Value in excess of a pretend, but high quality never ever comes affordable.
Not to mention, the faux baggage don't generally Exhibit the classic attributes that genuine luggage do. Information like components, lining substance, stitching, stamp of authenticity and a lot more, are lacking in faux bags. On the flip side, the first designer luggage have an added level of sophistication which the bogus luggage, Unfortunately, never have.
A further situation with these pretend bags is that they're frequently produced with counterfeit supplies like leather-based, which are not only unhealthy but also degrade very easily. They don't last lengthy and crack aside, which, in turn, influences the standard of the bag.
Moreover, bogus baggage normally absence authorized warranties that include real manufacturers. Meaning, even when they damage accidentally, it is possible to in no way get it fastened with the help of the designer's label. That is why It really is greater to pay a little further than Have got a bag that can easily stop working.
Finally, the smell of fake luggage is nearly always enough to spot them from the true offer. Bogus luggage have an uncomfortable oder to them as a result of fakes components They are really produced with. That is why it is vital to check the smell of your bag when generating a obtain, to ensure you're not staying tricked.
I don't forget trading in my laptop for the money necessary to invest in my initially replica bag. I couldn’t feel that this desire of having a designer handbag was lastly close by. And when it arrived, I felt like I used to be in heaven! It had all the things - beautiful leather-based, a delicate strap plus a vivid lining that matched the colour of my dress. I felt like a star.
It absolutely was an ideal dimensions for my on-the-go Way of living. Whenever I had been out and about, I could simply slip it about my arm, have all my essentials, and nonetheless glimpse stylish. I could also fit in all my knick-knacks and more which designed it the perfect companion for weekend trips and having all around city.
The better part of possessing a replica bag was that it absolutely was a lot more economical than the usual designer brand name. Don’t get me Completely wrong…I still like designer makes, but the price tag just doesn’t often fit in my spending plan. With replica luggage, I was ready to save a ton of money and even now get an awesome seeking bag.
Despite the many excellent capabilities of a duplicate bag, there was a single down facet - the durability. I envisioned the bag to past me for awhile, but after about 6 months of applying it, the fabric started to stop working. The bag just didn’t hold up in selected climatic conditions. This wasn’t a huge offer for me as I just changed the bag with a newer one, but this may very well be really worth looking at for people trying to find a a lot more lengthy-Long lasting accent.
The underside line is, in case you’re looking for a modern and very affordable bag that’ll enable you to glance set-jointly, a duplicate bag is a great way to go. From my working experience, I am able to declare that it’s absolutely definitely worth the funds you’ll be shelling out.
I've also made use of a range of other replicas - such as a Kate Spade inspired duplicate. I assumed this was a very fantastic acquire as it gave me the texture of the designer bag devoid of breaking the financial institution. I acquired lots of compliments for it, and it felt like it was just the right dimensions. Furthermore, it had sufficient element to make it search pretty distinctive.
I've also attempted a Gucci impressed replica that was made out of large-good quality materials and a far more intricate design and style. It had been Completely breathtaking, nevertheless, the detail was a little bit an excessive amount And that i felt like it had been also fancy for day to day dress in. I might normally save it for Particular instances or nights out.
Another good reproduction I tried out was a Michael Kors inspired bag. This was a little something I reached for Any time I required to look sophisticated although not overly dressy. It had been ideal for Exclusive events, nevertheless still everyday with its minimalistic structure. I did discover the straps a tad quick for me, but almost nothing also bothersome.
My expertise with reproduction baggage is good In general. I obtain them to generally be a terrific way to get designer appears to be like devoid of sacrificing a ton of cash. I like that I get to express my own model by the selection of duplicate luggage I possess. Now and again I like to replace them for something diverse, as they usually past me about 6 months in advance of breaking down.
Nevertheless, I do realize that not All people feels precisely the same way about duplicate bags. A number of people think that they’re not definitely worth the cash, Which designer baggage are remarkable concerning high-quality and elegance. I am able to surely regard that opinion. What I do know is always that, for me, reproduction bags have been an unbelievable solution to explore a number of designs devoid of breaking the financial institution.
The moral with the Tale is It really is simply not worth it buying fake bags. You will find too many threats included and the standard is frequently not worthwhile. The original top quality designer luggage have colonial insurance policies, warranties, good construction and also far better materials. Spending a little added will guarantee you the quality and fulfillment of proudly owning a real bag. Other than, It truly is illegal, and in opposition to the ethical code. Will not be fooled into buying a faux!

Hi Nora!
This post is really for myself to get some things off my chest. It's hard to vent sometimes and I just feel like typing it out may give me a little clarity.
When we brought you home from the hospital I had an episode of SVT (basically, a really fast heartrate) it was so bad we had to call paramedics and thankfully my heart started to slow down again on its own. That was scary, especially when it happened two more times after. Your dad would come with me to the hospital and sit with me. We even cried together during that time. Nana stayed with you at home while we navigated these deep and heavy feelings of dread having to be away from you. This was only mere hours after we arrived back home, mind you, and stretched over a couple days afterward. It was a scary and stressful time I don't wish on any first time mom's. Thankfully my kidney doctor altered my medications and things started to level out again.
Then, about a couple weeks later, you started to develop what we thought was acid reflux. And truthfully, maybe it is acid reflux, but we have no idea...could be colic or gas, too. Anyways- you became really hard to settle at this time. You would cry and scream and jolt around as if you were in pain or discomfort. I am still getting to know you at this time so it would send me into an anxiety attack trying to find out why you were crying and try to fix it as quickly as possible. It isn't easy, I still haven't figured out exactly how to help you, but Ive come to learn maybe there isn't anything I can do. Your needs are met, we comfort you as best we can, but when babies at this stage go through things like this, you might have to just ride out the storm. And I think that's the situation dad and I are in now. One day I'll make a post saying that you made a tremendous improvement and we won't have to worry about this anymore- today is not that day. But soon, I hope. However despite this I will never wish this time away. One day you won't be this tiny little baby anymore and no matter how hard I will miss it, you'll never be that way again. Don't get me wrong I'm really excited to enjoy you at every age, but there will be a time I look back and will miss your tiny little fingers and toes. How you'd head butt my face with your mouth looking for milk, and opening your eyes and taking in the world for the first time. Once that's gone, it will be gone forever. So I'll never wish it to go away. Dad and I will continue to push through and advocate for you, whatever it is you may need. Even if sometimes it's just for me to hold you for a couple hours so you can finally fall asleep.
A few more things happened too. Last week, our car broke down, and that same night, our apartment flooded. We are SO lucky nothing was damaged, and our landlords acted quickly, so we weren't in a state of disarray for long. And Nana and Grandpa helped us out with the car so we can continue to take you to appointments and dad can get to work! Thank goodness for them. At the same time though, both our cats got sick, you developed a rash, my milk production slowed way down (resulting in us spending a fortune in formula), and you are still miserable with colic. I watch you like a hawk. Take your temperature daily, check your lungs and breathing, pick your nose and clear your sinuses lol. I'm very protective of you want you to be healthy and happy.
You are now in your 5 week mark. Passed one month! Hurray! You're more alert and aware than ever, and I can't wait to see you smile and giggle for the first time. You light up my whole life.
I may have to invest in some earplugs, though.
Love mum ❤️

Lauren's Zach Sang interview Dec 2021
youtube
*Please watch the interview before you read this. I don't want you to be biased. This is an important one and worth your time*
Before we start, let me tell you what we know about Zach Sang, his other interviews, and Dan. He interviewed 5H in 2016, 2017, then Camila in 2018 for her self-titled promo and Lauren in 2018 for Expectations.
During Camila's interview he got a lot out of her. Dan was really digging in and trying to connect the dots about who the songs were about. He asked: "How do you keep all this so private because you haven't had any big public relationships other than Austin Mahone when you were twelve?". And asked who Consequences, Something's Gotta Give and All These Years are about. Notice how they always use they/them pronouns. Interviewers who aren't in the known never do that. Zach also said he had seen her at a party and she ended the subject really quick.
Zach has definitely seen and heard about stuff behind the scenes. He's also friends with Ariana Grande.
Ok let's get into it.
7:50 How do you define a pop star?
There is a machine behind it. In the way it operates behind the scenes and in the way the art reaches people.
She made sure to point out (a few times) that there are a lot of pop stars who are artists. You have to be connected to your art.
Pop starts are told they have to be things. Being a pop star takes a tremendous amount of work. [..] Money is what makes things move. You would expect them to invest in organic things and they do when they want to. They tell you that you're amazing, but really what they think is amazing is what they can make you, not who you are.
We've seen exactly that with Camila and we've all of them in the group.
12:40 Why she went independent
If they don't want to invest in me, I'll invest in me. I'll put my own money behind it because I believe in me.
(Funny coincidence, there is a moment of Camila's roundtable talking about the same thing).
Hopefully, it works out, because if not, shit...
I hope so too. Look how hard it is to be independent. The industry tries to do everything to have control over you. Even for someone like Lauren, with a fanbase and a platform and resources, it's a risky move.
14:10 New beginning
The pandemic was a reset on a lot for me. 2020 in general was a reset on a lot for me. It made me confront what success meant to me. A lot of things were swiped away from me and I was just confronted with a new moment in my life, an independent moment in my life.
16:00 What was success for you in Fifth Harmony?
Change of priorities. I hate how they're always talking about the same shit around the same time. Camila recently posted on ig how success isn't constantly working on the next accomplishment but being grateful for what you have at the moment.
Btw since when do we call Fifth Harmony "Fifth", Lauren. Lol.
25:50 Journals and 5H journals.
Same, Dan. Same. Imagine how much information is there if it's from 2014.
28:10 Don't Wanna Say
I was, like, damn. This is so sexy, man, I gotta speak Spanish. And then I said something dirty in Spanish, that my mom helped me proofread. I'll wait on you. Open your mouth, say something. Don't be scared, baby. Come closer, I dare you. ("I'm daring him to dare himself... or herself. Them") I already know that you know exactly what to do With this body, that you look at. You're thirsty
Notice how she translated with he/him pronouns first.
30:44 Queer icon
First of all, we know what still is the most popular in the queer world when it comes to Lauren.
Second of all, she said she wrote it [Don't Wanna Say] for a couple people. And although it might not be true and can be a tactic not to answer a question (as we've seen with Camila e.g.), I have a feeling she's honest here. Lauren is a bad liar and gets awkward. Here she answered without thinking too long, she was consistent with pronouns. Then followed with the specific number of people.
31:45 Do you listen to your music when you have sex
She said no. Wasn't thinking too much about that. I think, if she had sex listening to her partner's music, she would hesitate a little bit.
32:05 Has anyone played their music for you while getting intimate with them?
Played their music for me? Is that a weird way of asking me if I've been with an artist? You've met some of my exes? No, I'm just kidding
I can't believe she slipped like this. How do you forget about a two years long relationship? A relationship that was talked about on the exact same podcast? Her mind was completely somewhere else, so when he reminded her about Ty, her first reaction was to call tyren bs. She didn't catch herself. Can't believe she debunked tyren like this lol. The truth always comes out.
When she realized, she had to clarify very fast, not to get in trouble. "Yes I was and yes sometimes we did." Just a short sentence to end the subject. Bullshit.
And the way she added "just kidding" when she didn't even say anything. Camila always does that when she says something gay or something she shouldn't about Shawn.
What artist, that Zach met was she thinking about, if not Ty, you ask?
The same one she thinks about in the next question.
32:34 Who were you apologizing to in Sorry?
The way she looks at Zach and then tells him he's a sneaky motherfucker. Because Zach knows some things and she knows he knows.
She takes her time, not to slip up this time. She already did in the previous question.
What do you think based off of that reaction. No, yeah. No, though.... Yeah... yeah. That relationship meant a lot to me. ... So a lot of the songs... it moved me to write music.
Omfg. I'm gonna scream, cry and throw up. There is only one person she stutters this much when talking about. The tactic here is talking as little as possible. Not leaving clues. Maybe because it's dangerous, or maybe it's too emotional. And look at her face. She only has this expression three times in this interview. Here and 39:57 when talking about Fifth Harmony again.
Then she talks about On Guard.
Take a look under my heart Run your hands over my scars Maybe too much So I gotta see who you are Before you inspire the art
Can you see Dan connecting the dots? Same, Dan. Same.
This song clearly relates to No Way "everybody comes with scares, but you can love them away" and In The Dark. Or is it just me
35:00 Do you write about the positive emotions as well?
Is that another dig?
Now she's alert. If he knows who she's talking about in the two previous questions, now he wants to know the outcome of that relationship. And she stops him right there.
35:40 What do you learn about yourself after releasing Prelude?
She gets sad. Sighs. Rubs her neck. But decides to talk about the positive sides and the craft. Moves on from the emotional questions.
38:50 That story is crazy, the Fifth Harmony story.
Oh yeah. Top to bottom
Has everyone moved on to the point, where nobody even wants to tell that story anymore? Because the story hasn't even been told, ever.
I think you've gotta wait a few more years for that one. When we're in our 50s, 60s. When people can't tour anymore and make money.
Lol Lauren
No, but I love those women very much. And I'm so grateful to see everybody doing their shit. That's all that matters. We got to where we wanted to be.
Is that a sisterhood that lasts forever, or is that a coworkership?
No. We went through too much life shit together for it to just be a coworkership. I think that... [it's this facial expression again!], in a sisterhood there is just this constant love, no matter what. We all took our time to heal, that's the path that we're on right now. 'Cause a lot of what happened wasn't even us. It was all of the pieces around us. And we were all really young. We were literally adolescence. We had to 15-year-olds, two 16-year-olds and an 19-year-old. [...] There is a lot of factors into it. There is a lot of different realities at play. [...] Like I said, we were young, adolescence. Thrown into spotlight. Because remember, X factor is a reality show. You're on TV in front of millions off the bat. And we all just had our own way of processing that, that affected obviously one another. And that affected the group in general and that affected us personally. And now we're at the point in our lives where we're healing from it and we're each doing what we were truly meant to do for ourselves.
And a very important sentence.
I can't blame people for who they are when they're hurt. [...] So many adults taking advantage of this naivety. It's abusive. And I can't blame anybody for how they had to process going through that.
45:30
Oof that's that for the heavy stuff. That was a lot. I like the last part of the interview. She got so comfortable with them, showed a little bit of her normal self. What we learned is that Lauren is horny. Just imagine how much sex they had to have if they are both like this.
Ok but... Let's come back to the important things we found out.
When watching this interview, I changed my opinion on a few things, because we got a lot of clues here and some clarification.
1. There were some real conflicts in 5H and tension, but now they understand that the circumstances and people got in between them.
2. Not all of Lauren's songs are about Camila, although "a lot of songs [are about this relationship]". I'm sure she talks about her at 32.34 when talking about Sorry.
And then came a huge revelation for me.
They are not together anymore.
I've been hesitant for a while, but always said I want to wait for some clue, suggesting that they either are together or not. And I got it here.
I believe her when she says "that relationship meant a lot to me". She got so sad, but at the same time, you can see there is no regret. She says a lot of songs are about this relationship. I'm sure it's gonna be a majority of her album. That explains, why she still writes about her when they are not together anymore.
Listen to Sorry again. It's both about 2014 and now/2020.
I don't think Don't Wanna Say is about Camila. I think it is about someone she's been with since they broke up. Maybe a polyamorous relationship, maybe an open relationship, maybe two separate ones, since she talks about two people.
We had clear proofs in 2018 and 2019. You can't deny they got back together (I think at the beginning of 2018). AMAs, then Latin grammys then Romance with every song about Lauren. But the clues stopped in the middle of 2020. The only thing was Lauren's connection to Shawn on social media. They are still connected in the business/public aspect and they're always going to be. But that isn't enough of a proof to me that they're in a relationship.
They still care about each other very much and I really believe that was the most important relationship in their lives for both of them. I can't claim they're together anymore though. Because of the explanation for Sorry and the one for Don't Wanna Say.
That's it. I'm gonna go cry now.

What do you think is the objectively best WLW ship of all time by how well they were written/acted?
Oh wow Anon flattered you think I'd be able to say haha but I'm afraid I just don't know. I don't think I'd be able to tell objectively even if I had a much bigger and more comprehensive knowledge but the way it is, I think a lot of the WLW couples I'm invested in are way too flawed to be called 'best'. Though I should note, I think a ship can be written and acted in ways that are objectively not the best yet still have a massive impact that makes them good. Not to go down the representation rabbit hole but a lot of the milestone relationships I first thought of did struggle, mostly with censorship, but they were still important to people and had good stories.
I'm gonna get it out of the way that no, I wouldn't say Brittana. Listen, y'all, you know I'm obsessed. And I shall fight people who can only elevate Naya by shitting on Hemo whose acting improved tremendously and held her own just fine. But in terms of writing, as fascinated as I am by their story of transgression, they were an afterthought and suffered from this general thing I like to call "Glee sucks". So best of all time would be a stretch no matter how I look at it.
Idk, I just combed through archives and databases and I don't know what I would say. I might just throw a wild card out there and say Nomi and Amanita from Sense8 haha. They're the only ones who come to mind and were solid all around. Best of all time? Again I'm not qualified to say. And I'm sorry I can't give a definitive answer but it really just depends on so many factors and I don't think we could ever objectively say.

Hey I'm sorry for bugging you but I really like Eliwood and was wondering what skills I should give him (thank you 😊)
Oh, hey! No problem at all! I have never actually considered building Eliwood so this got me intrigued.
This also got very long with explanations for almost every choice, so if you’re not interested in that there is tl;dr at the bottom. Also, with Weapon Refinery and Sacred Seals, there are so many more possibilities now that I wanted to give you a couple of options I find most attractive. It all depends on how you want to use him (and on his IVs - boon and bane stats*). Eliwood has an interesting neutral stat spread and no stat is actually really bad, so you really have room to be flexible and shape him the way you want. Eliwood has a great offensive presence, especially now with weapon refinery and access to Blazing Durandal, but can also be played defensively. If you want an all-out-attacker you will prioritize speed and attack to get as much damage in a single round, but if you wish to play more defensively you will want a nice balance between def, res and speed stats (and as much HP as possible - Weapon Refinery yaaaay).
If you wish to use Blazing Durandal (which looks cool and works wonderfully on Eliwood), I would probably wish to raise his attack some more so that special ability of that weapon can be used more efficiently. You can do that either with Fury, Life and Death or Attack+3 for A slot or with Attack +3 seal.
Fury is always a good option for A slot because you get a nice boost in overall bulk and speed (speed is important for both defensive and offensive playstyles). Fury also synergizes with Vantage beautifully because it gets a unit into Life and Death is a tricky one because it makes units more vulnerable, and as a close-combat horse unit, Eliwood will often be close to the enemies so I personally wouldn’t do that. Some people like to play aggressively so it all depends on your playstyle. You do get a nicer boost in Speed and Attack but imo the speed you end up with is still not enough to double enough units to be worth the loss of def/res.  Atk+3 is the mildest of the options. You get only a slight boost in attack and don’t lose anything. It can work, but Eliwood would prefer a speed boost too so that it can avoid being doubled and be able to actually double something.
Other than Vantage, for the B slot, Swordbreaker is another option so your Eliwood has better chances in KOing defensive Sword units, but I don’t like using it with Fury because it only works above 50% HP (which will get reduced both by Fury and enemies attacks, so it will get reduced fast). So Swordbreaker is an option if you wish to use Life and Death, Atk +3 or something else for A. C slot is more deliberate and you can put here whatever the rest of your team desires, or if Eliwood is your main unit and you’re building your team around him then you can give him a skill that will help him defeat the enemies, like Threaten Def. Def Ploy is another really cool option for him because his res gets so high with fury (maybe not if you have a -res Eliwood). I would say it is preferable to Threaten Def but as it is rare it is up to you to decide if you want to use it on Eliwood. If you are using Eliwood alongside other horse units (or in a horse emblem team) you will want to use Hone/Goad/Fortify Cavalry. As for the support skill, you can never go wrong with Reposition or, alternatively, Swap. For the special skill, I would go with either Luna or Moonbow because of the lovely effect of Blazing Durandal, which makes them charge faster. They will help Eliwood tremendously with dealing with more bulky units. Alternatively, you can go with Galeforce or even Aether, but they are pricey so it’s up to you if you like their effect more than extra attack power.
Seal slot is interesting because depending on your playstyle many things could work. You can go with Quickened pulse if you decided to use Galeforce or Aether. Better options imo are Speed +3 or Attack +3 because Eliwood appreciates these boosts the most. Another option is to boost his survivability with Dist Def or Close Def (whichever stat you are more concerned about, in his case it would be defence so I would go with Close Def on offensive Eliwood).
With Weapon refinery, you got many other options using refined swords like Silver Sword or Slaying Edge which give you extra 5 HP and extra +3 Spd (the one stat boost I would go with Eliwood). If you ditch Durandal you lost 5/3 points in attack so I would focus on boosting his speed and doubling capabilities (Slaying Edge has a same special effect as Durandal, but it’s not conditional and the sword has less Mt). So, one nice build would be Slaying Edge +Spd, Fury, Vantage/Desperation, Def Ploy/Threaten Def/Threaten Spd (this now becomes a viable option), Spd+3 Seal. This build is actually really nice on +spd IV Eliwood as his speed rises to 42 which is insane. With speed like that, you could actually run Life and Death instead of Fury effectively (but in that case definitely replace Vantage with Desperation, as you don’t want your low def Eliwood taking any damage before he can land a follow-up attack).
I actually came up with some other builds but some of they are really exotic and require rare and expensive skills, so I decided to go with simple and more available ones.
So in conclusion (or tl;dr) One very simple and easily available build is - Blazing Durandal, Reposition/Swap, Luna/Moonbow, Fury, Vantage, Def Ploy/Threaten Def, Seal: Atk+3/Spd+3 (I would always go with speed). Another one (if you wish to play with weapon refinery boosts): -Slaying edge +Spd, Reposition/Swap, Luna/Moonbow, Fury, Desperation/Vantage, Def Ploy/Threaten Def/Threaten Spd, Seal:Spd+3. Second variation of this build, which can be especially good if your Eliwood has a speed boon, is: -Slaying edge +spd, Reposition/Swap, Luna/Moonbow, Life and Death, Desperation, Def Ploy/Threaten Def/Threaten Spd, Seal: Spd+3.It is worth noting that these builds can be turned into more defensive builds with Close def seal (or Distant counter and Distant def seal) and Quick Riposte. Eliwood is not a tank but I don’t see why he couldn’t work as a pseudo tank (if you have like +def/-atk Eliwood) with some investment with +def refined weapon and abovementioned seals (some might argue that he can be an excellent res tank and that there is no point in investing in his def, so you could also go with +res weapon, distant counter and distant def seal). It all depends on what is your playstyle and which niche would you like him to fill. This is how I would build him into an offensive unit. By no means are these builds the only ones that could work so you can adjust them as you see fit. Use them as guidelines or ideas if you wish to experiment but keep synergy of stats and skills in mind.
Feel free to drop another ask if I was unclear about something or you just need further explanation.
*If you don’t know what I mean by IVs and stat boost/banes check Stat Variations section here. As Eliwood is a pretty common unit you could easily pick more suitable stat variations. But don’t freak out if you don’t have what they call perfect combination because most of the time I found you could work around unfavourable stat variations.

Daydreaming about all the things
I'm gonna do with my first check, which I estimate will only be like a hundred bucks.
For example, I want to get a frappuccino and a big bag of sandwiches from Arby's, I'm obviously going to pay my phone bill because I get tremendously stressed out at the thought of needing to call work and being utterly incapable, but also, it infuriates me how many kilometers I'm totally blowing in Pokemon Go. Additionally, purchasing tokens, with how consistently I'm pretty sure I'm going to be working, is going to be more expensive, especially when there are going to be days when I want to run errands and make extra stops.
I think I just had a squirrel bounce off my head, but it's raining, so I have my heavy sweater on, hood up. It's fine. I found some mysterious bug bites on my wrist after carrying my friend's dog into Walgreens when I was trying to get my dad's Western Union. Turns out, despite flea treatment, she has fleas. So guess who's not allowed on my bed till they get that under control.
Anyway, back to the topic of extra stops and errands, I want to purchase the next shelf and a couple more etoiles of DMC, which may have to wait. I'm not sure if I should order the next big bag of 18ct aida while I'm actively earning money, or just work through what I have and see how far I can get. I'm already anxious about running out of materials. It's incredible to me how much thread I use per ATC, and then the massive variety of colors this project is going to take. I know skeins are only around fifty to seventy cents a hit, but that's a lot if you end up blowing through a hundred skeins. And then, I still haven't found my thread conditioner, and cross-stitching sucks tannins without it, so I'm thinking about preemptively buying like three of the little kits with the sewing machine conditioner extra. When I'm actively stitching, especially when I'm using two strands, that stuff disappears quicker than you'd believe.
Something I definitely need to purchase is just an actual basket, like ten or fifteen water flavors because I cannot even tell you how quickly I go through them, even being back in Wisconsin, and even though we're quickly fading into autumn. Oh! Speaking of autumn, so a) I'd like to waterproof a sweater for walking in the rain, and b) I want to make my friend a felt autumn wreath that she hasn't even implied wanting. I'm gonna find my good hot glue gun, eh, strike that. It'll last longer if I sew it. Of course, by the time I finish it, whether I use glue or thread, it'll freakin be full on winter.
Another thing I eventually need to add to my stash of useful things is caffeine tablets. I'm usually the type to reach for actual energy drinks, because generally, I'm going to have a soda anyway, but also, they're becoming excessively sweet to my palate. My sweet tooth is quickly becoming sensitive to beverages; candy is one thing. Speaking of candy, I'm probably going to pick up some Halloween candy. Probably when it goes on sale. I'd like some Sixlets, and chocolate covered bridge mix. The chocolate covered bridge mix will be its own errand. There are a couple places I could get it from and it'll be an adventure to see who has it for the best price and the best quality. And once I finish my jelly beans, I'll have plenty of space to store a lot of chocolate covered mix.
Organizing a thread stash takes a lot of investment. I know some people just throw their skeins and scraps and the thread information into a bag, throw the bags in a binder and call or a day, but even that, when you're just starting, is going to take quite a bit of investment. I feel like the number of bags I would need also would command a serious financial investment. Even something as simple as making my thread into pre-cut lengths and loading them onto my cards is a lengthy time investment, and considering the sheer quantity of colors I already have, let alone the colors I intend to eventually acquire (it would be cool to mix in more over-dyes and variegated colors into my work, especially for scenery and backgrounds). I absolutely love using the twenty-hole cards. I'm considering linking them together so they're always in order but I'm not certain. I'm also not certain quite yet how I want to organize my multicolored threads.
Oh. Metallics. I haven't cross-stitched with metallics yet, but I've freehanded with them and......ehhhh. I'm also not certain when I would use metallics. Maaayyyybe when I stitch Kitty looking at the school. Maaayyybe to bring depth to certain kinds of textures and effects?? Like if there's ever any metal or....... maybe decorations??
Honestly, I'm probably just going to buy shoes, pay my phone bill, if I'm lucky I'll be able to afford at least another week of tokens and some shirts, but I might just have to wait on shirts, let alone water flavor or even an exchange carbonation canister. A carbonation canister doesn't really help when I can really only bring two or three water bottles with me and I drink like three or four. I already carry two, and with everything else, it's a bit much. So I could only have one soda water every day, at work.
Eventually, things will start to level out. Sooner than later, I need to purchase an actual work shirt, so I can leave off the heavy vest that wrinkles too easily.
I'll once again be even on all the things I need, and I can start stockpiling cross-stitch supplies, and saving to move out on my own and for going back to college and thesis.
Oh, back to the topic of my project, yet again, there's going to be all kinds of fun stuff as we go. Vertical frames, double vertical, double horizontal. I'm not above arranging a four-frame frame if I want maximum detail, or making panoramas. All kinds of shit. I'm really going to push the capacity of cross-stitch and ATCs in/as a storytelling capacity. In fact, at least once, I need a panorama of the village and the school. I think the school is actually one of my few planned panoramas and use of an effect thread. I think I might do the school itself as a maybe two vertical high and maybe three vertical in the bottom row. Then the cafeteria will probably be two side by side, and maybe I'll use an etoile for the parts of the floor hit by sun.
I didn't really overtly plan to make crazy layouts which will require different plans of frames, but definitely inthe back of my mind, it has been kind of just a part of using a pixel kind of style and wanting those details. Maybe that's where I'd be better off just making molds of each side, and I could cut the edges and fix everything back together with UV resin. Apart from visually detailed scenes, in the really quotidian scenes, it's not necessary, since there'll be more people action. It will be cool and fun to make bigger frames with little window frame dividers. I think it'll look cool, but it may cause some difficulties. Or maybe I should just make a bigger frame, a longer one, maybe like a comic strip. I would have to see the ATCs mounted, and be able to have enough of them to play around with arrangements. I'm probably just going to do what I originally had in mind and wait till I finish at least my current sheet before I wash, cut and mount.
Once everything is washed, it's glovey tiiimme! I should probably wear gloves all the time; it might save washing ha ha. Once I have them washed, I don't want to have to wash them again. I'm thinking maybe saturate them with the pre-treatment, then finger scrub each panel with dish soap, and rinse the hell out of it.
I'm really excited to be moving forward on this project.
