Finally getting to respond to those who were so kind to me in messages, comments, and reblogs in the past week! @otomiya-tickles was a blog with mainly tickle fics, but you guys definitely made it feel like there was more to it :)

I piled all my answers into one big post and will treasure them for as long as Tumblr decides to keep me online this time 🤭

Hi! This isn't on the fic writer ask game, but I'd been meaning to ask you for a while and this reminded me. I've been reading (more like binging/devouring lol) everlark fics for about a year now, after re-reading it last spring. I'm wondering if you have any fics to recommend that you remember really liking that might be more "off the beaten path/hidden gems" for someone like me. (1/2)

Like it's less likely I'd have come across them on rec lists or old tumblr posts. For example, I read and loved FML by opacity after I stumbled on an old post of yours recommending it. Not saying stories weren't popular when published, just maybe less likely I'd come across them now. No worries about answering if you can't think of any, but I'm always looking for new-to-me stories/authors now that I've read so many. Thanks! :) (2/2)

Hey, love! I'm so sorry it took me awhile to answer this one. I have a crap memory when it comes to things like this, especially since I used to read so much more fic than I do now. But! I managed to think up a few fics and writers that might interest you but you're sadly less likely to see their names here abouts on tumblr within the past two years. My apologies if I'm repeating some of the same recommendations that were on that post you referred to here or if they are ones you've already explored.

@everlarkbirthdaydrabbles This was a project run by @peetabreadgirl, @xerxia31, and @burkygirl. The pieces on it are written by a range of writers who were active several years ago. Some of the names may be familiar, others not so much. They ran it for a whole year, maybe two(?), but it's been a hot minute since the blog was active and I am not sure that everything on there got transferred to ao3 or ff. So Happy Reading!

While you're at it, here are their individual ao3 accounts. They all have a lot of great stuff to read, and they often collaborated on pieces together so odds are good that if you enjoy one of them as writers, you'll love all three.

I highly recommend The Night Belongs to Lovers and The One from Burky.

From xerxia check out For Unto Us and Your Mark on My Soul, both of which are two of my personal faves from her. I also have her fic Flashover on my To Read list. Sadly have not yet had a chance to tuck into it yet.

I'm also going to mention a piece that burky and xerxia wrote together -- The Biggest Fan -- because it is not only squish your cheeks adorable but it is also a fantastic ode to the fandom and some of the fanfiction writers at the time it was written, but I will confess shamelessly that this is not an unselfish recommendation as yours truly (and one of my stories) makes a kind of cameo appearance in it as does @mega-aulover hehehe.

And here is peetabreadgirl's ao3. Personally, I recommend Lost and Found and Writer's Block, but again, there are a lot of excellent fics to choose from her as well.

Another writer who I absolutely love love LOVE, and if you haven't checked out her Everlark, you definitely should. @deinde-prandium. Here is her AO3. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with any of her stuff.

Hurry Hard is *chef's kiss* and I gotta give a shoutout for two of my all time fave drabbles ever, In the Background and The Murder Game. Before you finish scouring her page, read Video Relay/Lost in Translation and pester her for an update.

One more excellent Everlark writer to check out is @peetaspikelets. Ao3 here. Her fic Wanted is one of my all time faves asdafsdhsklgfdkjsngsl. So good. Unf.

Talking About 2022 On Tumblr

Okay so the general, post your year in review isn't working for me so we're gonna do this my way with screen shots I guess. Let's start!

Wow, that's more then I thought, okay then. Also @susie-dreemurr @novelist-becca @autismdino @ladylepidoptera and @sillyguyhotline thank you filling my feed and reblog list with worthwhile posts, at least I feel that. Thanks guys.

I answered over 400 asks!? I did not expect that at all but okay. Pretty sure a good bit is from @hazbinhotel97 so thank you I suppose. Thank you for asking all those stuff as well as all the others who asked me stuff. BTW to the Anon who requested that fic, which is the last ask in my inbox I have all the dialog written out just need the flavor text now so it will be coming soon. Thank you for your patience.

Also surprised Helluva boss has over double the posts tagged then Owl House, thought I was pretty balanced but apparently not. Heheh don't worry I might make a few freaks outs in january.

Frankly not even sure how gifts work so okay then?

Ah so the grand finale. I have pretty good idea of the first and second here but we'll see. Let's see what posts of mine a ton of people liked apparently.

Apoligies for the awkward shot but hey, the bottom of the top having nearly 500 is pretty good I think, and to think it was partially based off of a spongebob meme XD and the other is just me showing paralells of some of my favorite ships. Of course it is.

Another ship comparison with 800!? Wow and the other had 1500? Wow, being in in active fandoms I'm guessing. Either way I'm glad so many liked it. And last but certainly not least...

Knew it. Raeda really got a boost from Them's the Breaks Kid huh? It's honestly weird not to see the found family post here. It's from last year but it was my first big post and I remember it so grandly it's weird not seeing. Idk just a feeling.

Okay so that's it. But let me dedicate this section to the most important part of the blog. You. My followers which there is now 148 of you!? Wow that is... surprising. Though some may be bots but still. Thank you all so much for following my posts, and liking all my silly stuff.

And Specifically I want to to give some specific thanks to a few. @leakypipes for being with me through "The Great PFP Scandal of 2022" as I'm calling it, if you know you know, and doing their own thing which is inspiring. You go buddy.

hii, this is a blog i made on a whim to soothe brainrots and burnouts and find out what the obscure and small (and dying) fandoms i'm a part of are up to :D

with that being said, i probably wouldn't post a lot -- i'll mostly pop up spontaneously or spam about my hyperfixations and then disappear heheh,, but i'm interested in interacting with other people and would always be open to have a chat! I'm Sarah and I'm a TOKIO fan✌️

I've been a fan for a whole year and honestly they really have made my days better. I'm kinda late into the fandom (like, 24 years too late) but my love for them gets stronger and stronger. My love for Japanese media and culture bloomed after knowing these dorks. I really placed these men special in my heart.

For now, I'm more active on Twitter. But after much thought, I think I will be doing online journals on DW, LJ and this blog just to spread my love of TOKIO💕 All of them might be split into different stuff but I'll mostly blog about TOKIO. Heheh hopefully I can continue this idea of mine. Plus it might decrease my level of stress on university life.

(1) I'm pretty quiet on tumblr, but I've been shipping Jonerys for a loooong time. You were one of five? people that have been posting about them since the early days, so you've always been a familiar part of the fandom for me. Then in the lead up to season 7, you had all the juicy spoilers that I wouldn't let myself believe were true. (I've almost forgotten how lucky I felt that our ship actually became canon) So I think I originally followed you so I could get updates as soon as possible.

(2) Then when the season started to air, I learned what an excellent choice I made because you made/reblogged all the best gifsets. Plus, you're just a really sweet person, which was great when decided to stop visiting the jonerys tag. (Remember that magical time when the fandom was growing every day, but we weren't yet consumed by fandom wars?) It wasn't until later that I discovered your fanfics, which are great, by the way.

(3) And now, I love seeing all your GOT posts on my dash. The Star Wars stuff is great, especially Poe Dameron's beautiful face. You also helped me discover my love for a couple of Olympic gold-winning Canadian ice dancers, who may or may not be deeply in love. Oh, and there's a certain gifset from Altered Carbon of a scene I watched... more than a couple times. That's pretty good too. So thank you. You're one of my favorite blogs to follow.

Wow, this is just... I was speechless for a few minutes when I read this because it made me so happy and warm. This is so nice and really reaffirms why I even use tumblr and make content in the first place! And for someone who is “quiet” around here, you took the time to send me this awesome, three-part ask that made me smile so hard haha. Thank you!!!

You know, I feel like a lot of the little group we had posting about Jonerys at the very beginning has kind of become less active over time, and I LOVE all of our newer shippers, but sometimes I wonder how many people are even still around from the days when I used to talk about the spoilers and all my theories and answer like a million asks per day haha. It’s oddly comforting to know that there are still people who have stuck by me and have continued to appreciate my often-changing content all this time. It really means a lot!

And you love Tessa and Scott, too?! Ahhh that’s amazing, how this site has a way of getting under my skin some days but on others I think about all the joy it’s brought me and how many things I’ve discovered here and how maybe I’ve helped other people discover things they like too! It’s just such a positive and wholesome feeling haha.

Oh, and I’m excited you appreciated my raunchy gifset hehehe. I also may have watched that scene several times. What can I say? It was quality smut on TV and the I really ship those two :’).

Anyway, this was an absolute delight. Thanks for taking the time and making me feel so loved and taking a trip down memory lane. I hope we can continue loving all these things and pretty people here together for a long time to come
