I'll Be Watching - Aftermath
So.... I started a new project 🙃 Just watched the thriller I'll Be Watching staring Beliza, and well, I won't spoil anything for those that have not seen it. But just know when you do I have a fic in drafts I have now started!
So for the bellarke/beliza fandom, when you watch this film, please let me know when you would this story published! I have five days straight to write next week so this is what I will be doing with my spare time when I can grab it.

Watched I'll Be Watching last night and I really enjoyed it! It was nice to see Eliza Taylor and Bob Morley together onscreen again. They both gave solid performances, to no one's surprise.
My husband and I kept trying to guess what was going to happen next throughout the movie. We were right about most of the major story beats, but how they arrived at each of them kept us on our toes. The writing and direction did a great job foreshadowing the twists while sprinkling in some red herrings, so when the twists came it felt like a payoff rather than being utterly predictable.
If you like psychological thrillers, you'll probably enjoy this one.

covilhã, portugal. january 2024
some old-ish film i just relised i never shared. makes some sense tbh. most of this roll, including some of my favs, has people's faces in it sooo to the vault they go. still waiting on the february/march rolls too, so expect some of my best art in the next few weeks!
in other news: the summer senior trip through europe is in the works! i've ordered a new camera and it should arrive this month. i'll stay in portugal for uni. and all went well with all the projects i had in march! who cheered! it's been a blast, and although not without its hard days, 'tudo vale a pena se a alma não é pequena'. i've also started making moves to join a musical theater group next year, possibly starting with an audition for a very special something in my school. fingers crossed and stay tuned for more updates

After her tech genius husband Marcus (Morley) leaves on a work trip, Julie (Taylor) – still mourning the loss of her sister – is trapped in their new, isolated home and must fight her own fears to stay alive.

5) Eliza Taylor!
In the role of Julie, Eliza Taylor has to play a protagonist who becomes flawed by her doubts and delusions. Julie is traumatized by her past and stressed from her relationship. Audiences will also be guessing whether or not they should believe Julie due to Eliza’s captivating performance.
4) Bob Morley!
Bob Morley does a great job in his portrayal of Marcus. Morley gives interesting takes on the character making audiences guess whether or not they should trust him. Is Marcus the good guy because he’s struggling with his relationship with Julie? Or is Marcus really the bad guy because of his strained relationship with Julie?
3) The Direction!
Director Erik Bernard lays out the map of the hi- tech house and uses every corner, hallway to create a claustrophobic vibe. The cinematography by Thomas Hennessy makes great use of its single location. Thankfully, every shot inside the house doesn’t feel repetitive.
2) The Sci-Fi Twist!
Screenwriters Sara Sometti Michaels and Elisa Manzini have done wonders with their single location, while adding a clever sci-fi spin. Michaels and Manzini ground the sci-fi concept of a hi-tech house, which has its own drawbacks and issues. While giving the house a robotic female voice, Taylor is able to express more through her monologues.
1) A Solid Home Invasion Thriller!
With its sci-fi premise and surprising plot twists, I’ll Be Watching becomes a solid home invasion thriller. And if you’re a fan of The 100, you’re going to love seeing the leads on your screens again.

Aftermath- Story is posted!
Aftermath:
After the destructive malfunction of Hera, Marcus Alexander's life turned upside down. His very own creation that took years of developing had gone rogue. In the process almost successfully killed his wife. The Alexander's had a rough marriage since Julie lost her sister, and while he himself had made many mistakes in their marriage, it didn't mean Marcus wanted Julie gone.
It was due to his very own mistakes that Marcus had a lot to make up for- but was Julie too far gone? Was it too late to fix what he had broken?
Here lies the story of what happens after the Sheriff arrives on scene as Marcus Alexander holds his seemingly dead wife's body.
