not to get serious on main but i just looked back on a selfie i took when i was 13 and incredibly depressed and it’s made me think about how far i’ve come

#don’t get me wrong my struggle with mental illness is still a daily struggle #but i recently hit 1 year clean from SH which is not something i’ve ever accomplished in the 12 years i’ve been dependent on SH #i’d always make it 6 months max before relapsing again #but I’ve made it a whole year and that’s kind of worthy of celebration #self harm mention
