Every Day is a Good Day Part 2: The Show Begins

Part 1

[Phone rings]

Momo: Yes. This is Sunohara. Ah... Yes. Right... I see, that makes sense...

Momo: I understand. Then... Maybe next year, or the year after that... Yes. Please do.

[Door opens]

Yuki: Well?

Momo: It'll take time.

Rinto Okazaki: Hello there. It's rare for you to use your legal name while making phone calls, Momo-kun.

Rinto Okazaki: Did something happen back home?

Yuki: No, this has to do with Re:vale.

Rinto Okazaki: Re:vale... Is something going to happen to you in a year or two?

Momo: I really wanted it to be this year. Oh well, I guess there's no point to rushing this stuff...

Rinto Okazaki: ........

Momo: What's wrong, Okarin?

Rinto Okazaki: A-are you getting married?

Momo: Who, me? Yuki?

Yuki: Not us.

Rinto Okazaki: I thought so. You had me frightened for a moment.

Momo: If anyone should have a wedding, it's our president. His wife wanted a proper ceremony, but they ended up just signing the papers and nothing else.

Rinto Okazaki: They said they'd hold the ceremony soon. They're just waiting for Re:vale to write them a wedding song.

Yuki: Why would I make a wedding song for that guy?

Momo: Now, now. Just do it for his missus. She's a nice lady.

Rinto Okazaki: So, what was it that you wanted to get done this year?

Momo: A Re:vale shrine.

Rinto Okazaki: A Re:vale shrine..?

Momo: We've gotten to be so popular that we can't even do our New Year's shrine visit in peace anymore.

Momo: So we thought we'd have a shrine built on top of this building, department store style.

Yuki: Which is also known as separation of worship.

Rinto Okazaki: You did mention that before... Don't tell me, you were serious about it!?

Momo: Totally! It's rough being an idol, so it'd be nice to have our very own deity, to watch over us.

Yuki: That call was about a god of entertainment that Momo had been looking into. So, they can't so it yet?

Momo: They said we should visit the god regularly to form a bond first.

Yuki: That sounds reasonable. Oh well, I guess that's a new goal for us to work towards.

Rinto Okazaki: You always did have grandiose ideas... Almost too big, if you're trying to build your own personal shrine...

Momo: Oh, don't be like that! It's better than giving up without trying!

Rinto Okazaki: I can't believe my brother let you try and build a shrine on top of our agency.

Yuki: We asked if he wanted us to switch agencies or build our own shrine, and he said he'd rather have the shrine.

Rinto Okazaki: That explains everything.

Momo: And in the long run, it'd be nice to let other entertainers come visit our shrine on th New Year's, too!

Momo: It'll have food stalls too, obviously! We could even make a mikoshi!

Yuki: You're such a big dreamer, Momo.

Rinto Okazaki: That he is!

[Phone rings]

Rinto Okazaki: Ah... It's time. Well then, if you'll both excuse me.

Momo: Leaving so soon? You've been going home earlier lately, are you doing something special?

Rinto Okazaki: Well, uh... I've been really into cleaning out my washing machine lately!

Yuki: Seriously?

Rinto Okazaki: It's so nice to get all that mildew out, you see. I got completely hooked on it, and now it's a nightly routine for me!

Momo: Are you sure you're okay?

Rinto Okazaki: Whatever do you mean!? Of course I'm fine! Well then, I'll see you tomorrow!

[Door closes]

Momo: ........

Yuki: I never knew people could get so into cleaning their washing machine.

Momo: Wait, are you saying you believed that excuse?

Yuki: What excuse?

Momo: I think Okarin's been acting weird lately... More than once or twice, even.

Yuki: Like how?

Momo: Well... I saw an idol costume that belonged to neither of us in his car.

Yuki: An idol costume..?

Momo: There was also a headband with the word "leader" written on it.

Yuki: A headband with the word "leader"..?

Momo: Which means, either Okarin wants to start managing idols other than us...

Yuki: Or he's planning to join Re:vale, as our leader...

Momo: I know it's weird of me to say this, but it must be tough managing idols like us.

Momo: I think stress might be getting the best of Okarin...

Yuki: We should throw him one of our thank you parties, like we used to back in the day. I'll make curry, using that one really tedious recipe.

Momo: Okarin loves that curry! The boys from IDOLiSH7 wanted to try it, too!

Yuki: Really? In that case, I guess I should bring it to the New Year's party they're holding.

Momo: I'm sure they'll love it! I'm so excited!

Yuki: So am I. Just let me just ask Yamato-kun if we can bring over food of our own.

Momo: What curry are you making?

Yuki: Probably beef curry, though I won't be able to eat it.

[Phone rings]

Yuki: Ah, he replied.

Momo: What'd he say?

Yuki: "Sure. The guys all like curry, anyway." Look.

Momo: Wow! I never thought Yamato would EVER reply to one of your messages with an excited King Pudding sticker!

Yuki: That's the power of curry at work.

Momo: I'll help you out in the kitchen! This party's gonna be so much fun!

Minami Natsume: Good morning, Isumi-san. This room certainly brings back memories.

Torao Mido: Apparently they changed this floor's layout for the New Year.

Torao Mido: They're making a new room for our current president elsewhere, so we're free to use this room whenever we're at the office.

Toma Inumaru: Great. When they said they were gonna do some cleaning around here, it made me feel a little weird.

Toma Inumaru: Good thing I told the bigwigs that I didn't want them to just sweep everything under the rug and take our spot from us...

Toma Inumaru: It's like our very own secret hideout!

Minami Natsume: By the way, have you already heard? There's someone who wants to come see us today.

Torao Mido: Is it the chief manager we've been hearing about? That was pretty much Ryo-san's job, up until recently.

Toma Inumaru: They said they wanted the new chief manager to start before the New Year. I wonder what kinda person it'll be.

Haruka Isumi: Doesn't matter who it is. No one's taking the reins from us.

Torao Mido: Can't say I don't relate. We've come too far to become Tsukumo's little puppets now.

Shiro Utsugi: Now if you don't mind, I'll continue my self-introduction. I'm 35 years old, 178 centimeters tall, single, and my favorite type of food is anything with fish.

Shiro Utsugi: Ever since graduating, I've been working overseas in one of the offices that belong to Tsukumo's parent company.

Shiro Utsugi: However, when Ryo-kun was made president, I was made to fly back here...

Shiro Utsugi: Well... I wouldn't quite call us childhood friends, but we've known each other for a long time.

Banri Ogami: Right... And it's not that I don't want to talk about it, but it is a long story.

Rinto Okazaki: That's true. It's the kind of story that would take one novel, or maybe three volumes of manga to tell...

Banri Ogami: What about you, Okazaki-san? I know your older brother is the president.

Rinto Okazaki: Yes, he is. Rather than having a particular interest in the entertainment world, I wanted to help him with his business.

Tsumugi Takanashi: Your brother must've been very smart, then.

Rinto Okazaki: Oh, not at all. If anything, I was always the smart one, while he was the troublemaker.

Rinto Okazaki: He set up an event company, and then a talent agency... Perhaps because he met Banri-kun and Yuki-kun.

Rinto Okazaki: I once asked my brother why he decided to set up a talent agency.

Kaoru Anesagi: What did he say?

Rinto Okazaki: He said that since we live in an age where being in the public eye and taking responsibility of your actions is getting more and more risky...

Tsumugi Takanashi: It's really nice to hear someone in this business say that, especially someone who's the president of a talent agency.

Rinto Okazaki: His words are what inspired me to get on board. And he wasn't wrong, the entertainment world is indeed very thrilling.

Rinto Okazaki: What about you, Utsugi-san? What inspired you to get into showbusiness?

Shiro Utsugi: ........

Rappers’ fave groupie Celina Powell – who is known for putting famous men on blast about alleged encounters – and her friend AJ/Aliza (above, left) appeared on the No Jumper podcast recently where they were spilling tea about who they’ve hooked up with. During the conversation, AJ shared a story about an alleged sexual encounter with R&B crooner Trey Songz.

AJ said after she and Trigga had sex, she went into the bathroom to get cleaned up. The “I Invented Sex” singer allegedly came into the bathroom after her and asked her to get in the tub. He supposedly gave a few more demands before he allegedly urinated on her face, without her permission! She said she was pissed (no pun intended) because he got her eyelashes wet. Oh.

AJ and Celina also claims Trigga took their phone and purses to keep them from leaving, which sounds very similar to something Keke Palmer said about the singer a few years ago. More on that in a few.

Word got back to “Say Aah” singer and he decided to respond on social media with receipts.

“Y’all stay ready to believe a bird,” he tweeted along with DMs from AJ that she allegedly sent him over time. In the messages, the woman tries to link up with Trigga on several occasions. There’s very little responses from Trey in the screenshot of messages. It’s unclear if he deleted the messages he sent to her. In one of the messages, the woman (who appears to be either Hispanic or White) calls him the n-word. He ended up deleting those messages, but here they are below:

Trey then brought up the Georgia woman who’s suing him for $10 million over sexual assault allegations. The woman – using the name Jane Doe – is accusing the R&B crooner of sexual battery inside a Miami nightclub. According to the court documents, Trey (whose real name is Tremaine Neverson), the woman claims on January 1, 2018 Trigga invited her to E11even nightclub after spending New Year’s Eve at Diddy’s home and that’s when he sexually assaulted her.

He shared screenshots of messages from another woman claiming the woman’s sexual assault accusations are FALSE.

In 2017, Keke Palmer sounded the alarm on Trey Songz misogynistic ways. The “Scream Queens” alumna accused Trigga of using “sexual intimidation” to coerce her into appearing in his music video with Fabolous, Travis Scott and Young Thug, titled “Pick Up The Phone.”

After Trey allegedly took her phone, Keke said she hid in a closet to avoid any more conflict after she verbalized she did NOT want to be in the video. Once they assured her she would NOT be in the video, she said they secretly recorded her anyway.

“I will say I never truly experienced anything like that other than that situation,” KeKe told TheYBF.com about the situation in 2018. “I felt like it was important for me to let other young women know that these things are going to happen to you no matter who you are. No matter how much respect you think you deserve. No one gives a sh*t.”

Trey Songz denied it happened. And social media seemingly automatically believed him, while dismissing her and even accusing her of lying.

The HUSTLERS star threatened legal action, but they were able to bury the hatchet.

It's so crazy how Keke spoke on this very thing with Trey and people called her a liar. Now, two black fishing IG chicks say it and now everyone believes. Hmph.

So as this humble blog gets ready to beat last year’s 60,000 views, let’s recap just what a piece of crap I am

I mentor other writers. There’s actually a waiting list if you want to join my private critique group or have me edit your book. Many bestselling authors will not publish their book without me looking at it first.

This blog got over 60,000 view in 1027 alone. Let’s just think about that for a while. Sixty thousand… 60k… A six followed by one two three four zeroes. (That’s a lot of people who aren’t complaining about me, isn’t it? So, ComplainerBlogger, are all of them wrong, or maybe just you? Hmm.)

I work with school kids (grades 3-8) after school all year to help them gain a better understanding about writing. 18 grade school children will become published authors in a few weeks because of their love of writing. The teacher of one of my Young Authors told my wife that my involvement has really turned a few kids around to reading and writing when they were uninterested before. I helped that happen! What a monster I am.

I regularly let unknown writers and bloggers do a guest post on this blog – because I’m a real @sshole

I let new authors advertise on this blog to get word out about their book.

I hold writing contests because a friend and valued critique partner (who is too humble to remember it was her) said it’d be fun – and it was/is. We are finishing up our latest VERY SUCCESSFUL one right now – which makes me think the unhappy party in question might have something to do with that, but more on that later.

So far, EACH 1st PLACE WINNER of my Word Weaver Writing Contest has gone on to publish their work, and so have a few others who got 2nd place or other recognition. That’s kind of a big deal. They found enough inspiration here to gain the confidence to move ahead and roll the dice on their writing, and so far they are batting .1000. Some GREAT authors have come to the world via these contests. How cool is that?

I got a group of bestselling author friends together with some unknown and unpublished authors, and we put out a scary anthology last October that hit #1 in its category within 30 days of its release. That project helped a lot of people get published who might never have been otherwise.

I keep cranking out books, three this year so far, including illustrated children’s books and a helpful writing guide (above, which I will send you for free if you contact me and ask for it and promise to leave a review on Amazon – free book? YOU MONSTER!!) Oh and my novels – the next novel is my best ever, and will totally blow your socks off. Check out the cover, right.

I regularly talk about, reblog and promote my author friends. If you follow this blog at all, you’ve seen Lucy and Anne Marie mentioned in the last 10 days, and a lot of others mentioned in the last 30 days. That’s what I do, help others.

In fact, I help other so much I was recently asked to do a presentation with my books at Barnes & Noble to the Tampa Writers Association.

and

I was asked to become a member of the Board of directors of the Florida Writer’s Association.

All because I’m such a piece of sh!t.

So when Jenny sends me this message, I’m thinking I pissed somebody off and they are complaining on my blog

Well, first of all, I’ll let you complain about me on my blog. Most of you are nice enough not to do it, but when you have a legitimate gripe, I wanna know. For future reference, I prefer if you use the Contact Me button to air your grievances. It goes straight to my email, which I check a zillion times a day, and I take stuff on my blog seriously. The comments, those get posted at WordPress’ pace. The email is faster.

But that doesn’t mean I’m gonna lay down and eat shit, either, motherf^cker.

You have a complaint? I’m a willing listener.

You wanna go off for no legit reason about how your writing was good enough to win my writing contest after you admitted you didn’t really clean it up much and even you said it had some issues?

That’s on you.

See, in the years I’ve been doing this, I’ve had a few spammers and only 1 real complainer.

This douche canoe thought his (I assume a he; with internet you really never know) but he wrote a good story for one of my contests. In the November 2017 contest, I got a decent story, but it had major issues. Plot holes, and a leap of logic that didn’t make sense to me. That happens. Some people think they have to cut their masterpiece down to 3k to get into the contest, and that’s what this guy did – leaving out stuff, but even by his own admission, it had issues.

So, I did what I do. I said it was good, I said it had issues, I told him what they were, and I offered suggestions to fix the story.

You did that? What a jerk!

Now, for those of you who’ve been through my critique process, these contests – and my many critique partners from around the globe – would have ceased working with me years ago if what I said in my critiques wasn’t supportive and helpful. Because it IS.

Oh, but if you are just looking for someone to tell you how great you are, that’s a little different.

You might great.

If the writing you sent isn’t great, I’ll tell you what I think you need to do to get it to be great.

If it’s great, I say so.

Those are some great books, and I’m happy to work with and promote each of those authors’ stories.

If you wrote garbage or stuff that – by your own admission – has major issues, I’m not telling you it’s brilliant if it’s not.

I’ll tell you how to fix your story, but if your reply is:

“It’s brilliant not for what it actually is on the page but what should have been and therefore…”

Okay, so later in the night, Jenny and another author friend decide maybe the blogger in question is actually nutso. Wouldn’t be the first time a writer went over the edge, but it’s probably best if their wrath for the world isn’t aimed at me, especially when they are giving implied death threats.

I still don’t know if this stuff is aimed at me, because it’s the refuge of a coward to throw stones anonymously. Notice I use my real name on everything? Not a coward.

Anyway, this nonsense got 30 minutes more of my time than it should have, so I’m gonna go turn on the news and sit on the couch and get ready for a fun day of two different birthday parties filled with 8 year olds that my kid has to go to. (I’m looking forward to both. Really. One is at a karate place. I wanna see about breaking a board with my bare hands like they do on the internet, and this may be my chance.)

If you are writing blog posts about me, or dedicating your ENTIRE blog to me – good or bad, THANK YOU. (But seriously – rethink your life goals.)

Death threats, wishing a person gets killed in traffic, implied or otherwise – they aren’t funny. I don’t take it seriously, but I have a daughter who reads stuff, and scaring kids is bullshit, Bible guy. Even your thick skull can get that message through. Be better than that.

We live in a world where people go bananas all the time. The FBI might come knocking on your door based on what other people think your hate filled messages say about you being the next psycho killer. Don’t be that guy. And for Pete’s sake, don’t hide behind comments on Jenny’s blog when nobody’s reading yours. That’s sad and pathetic. Talk reasonably to the source of your ill will, discuss rationally, and part friends or part ways amicably. Maybe I read a different Bible than you did in my 12 years of Catholic schools, but let’s do a little Golden Rule here. If you were the guy who entered my contest and was disappointed, remember:

I showed one of the judges the insane emails you wrote to me and even she said I should kick you out of the contest because you were a psycho. Now Jenny thinks so, too, and blocked you from her blog like I had to, and from my email after you wouldn’t stop with the nonsense. And now others will think you’re a psycho. IS IT ALL OF US, OR MAYBE IS IT YOU?

Don’t be a guy who posts insane rants on the internet.

Or at least be funny when you do.

I’m still not sure ANY of this was about me, but I trust Jenny.

SHE says it was posted on her blog after a comment I made, and she concluded the comments were about me.

That’s good enough.

She subsequently felt the need to ask the person to stop commenting on her blog and probably blocked them.

All I know is, it’s time to make my beautiful daughter waffles (she no longer insists on eating the chocolate chip kind, thank god), hit Target for some presents, and then head to the birthday parties.’

If there are no posts for a while, it’s because the karate board breaking didn’t go well and I broke my hand.
