The Jojos finding out their s/o is pregnant with twins after a long time of trying.
WORD COUNT: 1.5k
JONATHAN JOESTAR
Tumblr media
He smiles, probably thinking you're messing with him. You spent a lot of time trying to have a baby, and now you're joking about having more than one baby and stuff because of that... aren't you? He might faint if you are being for real.
"Y/n, please don't joke with me on these things... you know how much I care, I would burst into tears if I happened to believe... what do you mean you're serious...?" his voice breaks, his heart feels so full already. Two babies?
Jonathan does burst into tears. It was a miracle for him even realizing you were pregnant, but two babies? Two angels of his growing inside of you? It's too much for his romantic, loyal and devoted heart, and it'll show. He won't stop kissing your belly and constantly caressing it.
He doesn't care whether they're two boys, two girls or a boy and a girl, he knows he'll give them his unconditional fatherly love regardless of their gender. Jonathan is blinded by the love and the happiness the good news made him feel.
Jonathan hopes that both his features and yours will be recognizable in your children's bodies. It would make him feel like the happiest man in the world. He wants to look at them and remember they come from a pure and loyal love.
For the days to come of your pregnancy, he'll keep on referring to you as three people. "Good morning, sweethearts.", he'll whisper every morning, giving two tender kisses on your growing belly, one for every twin. Jonathan feels like he's dreaming.
JOSEPH JOESTAR
Tumblr media
As soon as you walk into the room, he's overjoyed already, running towards you. "Your next line is: we're gonna have twins!" you never understood how did he do that, but in that moment you just nodded, letting him pull you in a strong embrace.
Joseph laughed thinking of all the negative pregnancy tests you took in the past. He kept them to remember how much you two tried, and promised he would have thrown them away only once you succeeded. You were even having twins, now.
He panicked quickly when he noticed that all of your attempts were useless, and he even got to the doctor to make sure he wasn't sterile. Poor boy. He cared a lot about giving you babies, and honestly got a good amount of scared.
"I hope at least one of them is a girl, I'd like to name her Holly..." he pouts, caressing your belly. He'll be the happiest regardless of their gender, but having a baby girl has been a dream of his, and he'll keep on hoping until you can find out the genders of the babies.
Joseph dreams of when they'll be born, and he'll be able to hold both of his children at once with his huge and strong arms. He subtly hopes at least one of them will be able to learn how to use hamon. He'd like it to be a family tradition like it is for the Zeppelis. It would be really cool and he would be able to playfully brag about it on Caesar's grave.
"Y/n, but... if you're gonna have two babies in your belly... won't it like... explode? How do you manage to keep them both? What if you start floating like a balloon because of the babies stretching your belly too much?" he knows how to get a laugh from you when you feel bad during the pregnancy.
KUJO JOTARO
Tumblr media
At first he's not gonna say anything or look too surprised. Sometimes doctors happen to get these things wrong, he heard of lots of couples who thought they were gonna have twins but then it turned out to be a mistake. [Dora's parents, for example]
Jotaro won't show it, but despite this thought, his heart is pounding at the thought of you two having twins. You had talked about having a baby, but no matter how much you tried, every attempt seemed to be useless. And now you were telling him this.
"Yes... it would be amazing if you were right." he holds your hands. "Let's not get our hopes too up." Jotaro mumbles in a calm tone, while Star Platinum shamelessly exposes its user giving happy "ora"s and an embarrassing amount of kisses on your cheeks.
When you find out that there's no mistake, he will hug you and not let go for a couple of minutes at least. "I don't know anyone else who would so happily carry children of mine in herself. I am grateful, y/n. Really grateful."
You know Jotaro's trying to keep calm and look strong for you to admire him, but you felt his voice trembling and can't ignore Star Platinum slowly summoning itself, sniffling and moving to carefully caress your belly, a sweet and calming smile on its face "Ora...".
He's not sure he's gonna be a good father, even more now that he knows the children will be two and not only one, but Jotaro would never admit his fears. He tends to bottle up every single feeling of his. It would be the right thing to do if you sometimes made him feel like he'll be a perfect dad. He needs it.
HIGASHIKATA JOSUKE
Tumblr media
"T-Twins? Like t-two babies? One + one? Me and you? R-Right there?" he'll ask, pointing at your belly with his widened eyes, right under your amused gaze. Josuke is a pure angel, he won't fully realize it for the next twenty four hours.
If you're fine with it, he confesses that if one of them is a boy he'd like to call him Ryohei, his grandpa's name, to properly remember him and everything he did to protect Morioh-Cho. You don't want to say no to him on this. He really cares a lot.
He enjoys having long conversations with your children, you sitting on the couch and him laying on his belly, ear on your own belly. "Mommy and daddy are impatient, here... can't you speed up your birth a bit? I can't wait playing with your hair and styling it in two cute pompadours..."
Talking together, you both decide he won't use Crazy Diamond to calm down your pregnancy pains. You want to fully live your pregnancy without stand powers, and Josuke agrees. He wants to be next to you when it happens, but like a normal boyfriend/husband.
Crazy Diamond still is overjoyed just like its user, when you tell Josuke about the twins. It's eager to help, when you start buying the little beds and proper furniture for the babies, and you won't even have to worry about setting those up, Crazy Diamond will do it by itself even without Josuke telling it to.
As soon as she learns it, Tomoko will invite you by her for a dinner, to celebrate the two angels you're gonna give birth to. She still can't believe her Josuke gave her grandchildren with you, and will personally call Jotaro to inform the Joestar part of the family.
GIORNO GIOVANNA
Tumblr media
Since you get along with Mista really well, he'll think it's a joke, and won't listen to you for the first minutes, at least until you show him the papers the doctor gave you that morning, proving you're really pregnant with twins.
He'll stare at those papers for five minutes straight, speechless, smiling. You've been trying for a lot of time. Gold Experience had been caressing your belly several times after you and Giorno made love, to stimulate your body in creating life. And now that you finally succeeded, it's twins.
"I wonder if there's a possibility for them to be stand users... i'll still be willing to keep our babies away from Passione's business." says Don Giovanna, keeping you close. If Mista's task was protecting him, now GioGio's new request is for the gunslinger to protect you.
Since now you know you won't only have one baby, there's much more to buy, and since you're pregnant and Mista can't go away and leave your side because of Giorno's request, the one who has to go shopping for the babies is Giorno himself. Finding a Don buying baby clothes and toys is always hilarious and cute.
GioGio will often panic and call Trish for help. He doesn't want you to think he's not able to handle buying stuff for two babies instead of one, so he has no guts to call and ask for help from you.
He's never had a good father figure. So he can't really say he witnessed good examples of a parental figure to imitate. But he remembers the love in Bruno's eyes. The love of a person who chose to protect his fellow gang members. He'd like his babies to feel with him the same way he felt in Bruno's protection.

open fire
Happy birthday to @the-flame-and-hawks-eye! Shay, you wonderful, affable, incredibly positive bean!! I hope you have an incredible day today, but first, I gotta ruin the angst queen’s day with some angst. alternatively titled: through fire and flames bc rilie. HAHA.
Rated: M - Major Character Death - its not terribly graphic, but I wouldn’t rec for a queasy stomach Words: ~1400 || implied Royai; lust!roy
White walls were as bright as he remembered them. For the second time, he thought how no room should ever be this white - this blinding. It’s just bad decor, he had joked before. Along with the imposing doors and tacky colored circle above it. That was after they had won, after their reprieve  when all that was left of the undying creature were the scorch marks darkly coloring the matching floors.
A voice angrily protested, shouted at him, tried to bargain with him, because it knew it was back in the place where it had died before, and it would die here again.
Just a small moment of consciousness, only a single moment to spare.
The homunculus had been knocked off and lost control of his body and he wouldn’t dare take it for granted. He’d take the promise he made Riza uphold and execute it himself.
Roy Mustang was already dead.
What remained now was his body being used in his stead. If there was no release from this, then he refused to comply. His body, his face would not be used for their agenda. He was not a puppet, he was not a flesh bag to be used. He was human and so were the thousands of souls striking a cacophonous chord in his ears.
Roy’s hand struggled, fighting for control, and he grabbed the jagged piece of glass and pierced his skin. The homunculus snarled within and the philosopher’s stone was a force to reckon with, but he needed this will. So, he borrowed it. From Hughes, Havoc, Fuery, Breda, Falman.
Riza.
Most of all from her. He remembered the bright day in his dark office where she willingly accepted the coin of her duty: on one side his bodyguard and on the other, his executioner. She accepted it despite the consequences of killing a superior officer, despite their past. She accepted it. While part of him felt she’d resign, another knew very well that she blamed herself for his mistakes, how he mishandled her trust.  How her gift of fire didn’t spare her either.
Well, Riza, you won’t have to worry much longer.
He carved the tail end of the salamander on the back of his hand for the second time of his life. It bled and spilled all over, smearing his skin with a red dye. Struggling, he pushed himself against the wall Alphonse transmuted and readied himself when he realized too little, too late…
The flint.
How could he forget the flint, the spark, the very purpose of his gloves - How? His hand began to tingle, the threat of regeneration; if he lost his resolve, he’d lose the control.
You’re useless. Incompetent. Give up now.
Roy focused. He wouldn’t fail them; he refused that too. Gleaming in his peripheral was the metal parts from Barry the Chopper. He laughed inwardly at this serial killer’s usefulness two times over after his supposed and literal death.
He tried to stand, but his legs were like concrete blocks; they weighed him down, fought him - his own body, damn it all. He shifted his center of his gravity, tipping himself over and harshly landing on the hard ground, in an attempt to crawl across the cemented floor.
He didn’t know how the putrid stench of decaying body missed him earlier, but it grew in intensity the closer he got. He gagged. It must’ve been here for weeks and the carcass was hardly recognizable as the bones rested over the armor
You... You’d rather burn than seeing them again? Seeing her again?
Roy smirked. He wouldn’t give it fodder. If it was trying to convince him by words, it meant it was getting desperate. These creatures, these monsters, they don’t act by airy words and empty threats; they have the power to create wars, form nations, and spill thousands of innocents’ blood. Why did it bother? Was it because he had a chance or was their confidence in their abilities to blame? That was their folly before, it underestimated him in its previous body, left him for dead. As he grabbed a stretch of metal with scratched red markings on it, it became angrier.
You will not do this! And you’re a fool thinking you’ll succeed because you won’t!
Another mistake. It bolstered his resolve. He could do this because he’s known to respond oppositely and competitively to those who don’t believe in him, because he forces them believe in him. Kicking his feet back to the wall became a much simpler task and the howling from the homunculus was no louder than the souls circling the vortex.
Roy straightened himself against side the barrier where Riza and Alphonse took shelter and now he would mark this side, with the large doors behind him. Another coin, he thought and he and the homunculus Lust would be etched on both sides. He would complete the process. He pulled his arm back, molecules transmuting in the air around him, and he struck the metal to the stone.
The flame burst from the spark. Engulfed his body, he cried and yelled. It echoed in the room as it burned him to the bone - to his soul. He gave the homunculus the chance to the restore the rest of his body, barring his hand. He struck the metal again and it brought him to his knees. He couldn’t breathe. It burned his lungs. The fire entered and incinerated a path into his lungs ruthlessly. He was breathing liquid fire and he almost lost consciousness because of it.
Weak, it hissed. Weak!
The metal sparked again and he thought of the thousands who died by his hand. He was living through what they lived through, but he’d never make up the numbers. He thought of the last Ishvalan who sat with his dog, tired and defeat and cursed him in his last breath, and it helped strike the wall again.
What about your team? Your men? You’ll just leave them like this.
How dare it. How dare it bring them up. The very people he was torn away from for this. It was their loyalty, their belief in him that would get him through this even as his flesh sloughed off the bone. His throat was expended by this point and he remembered how long it took for it to die the first time. He’d have to continue until the electricity would stop regenerating him, until he, too, let the fire consume him completely and turn him to dust.
You’d leave her, just like that? The last time she thought you were dead  she wished for death, begged for it. She’s still alive now because she thinks you are too.
He hesitated and the red sparks crackled in his ear and the light danced over the surface of the stone.
That’s right, she was going to let herself die because she thought I had killed you. You’d be sending her to her grave. Another one of your men dying because you couldn’t save them? What kind of commander-
In the middle of the enraged din, Roy hit the stone forcefully with grit teeth and the metal piece pierced the soft flesh of his palm. It’d be for her that he’d do this. Through this fire, through this pain. To rid completely of the burden she’d given him. He’d fail at creating a better world for her, for them. She’d understand. She’d understand, he thought, pleaded, begged as the fire incinerated him to his soul.
At the very end, it wasn’t pain he felt, it was the visions he saw right before he realized they had both reached their limit. Her blonde hair, her chestnut eyes - how they’d turn soft when she smiled. It was the smallest smile that would leave him in the biggest puddle.
He thought to strike metal to stone one last time for good measure, but everything was now quiet.
Five minutes elapsed from the moment of the phone call to her arrival below Laboratory Three. They’d excavated the wall after the disturbing noises and trembling noises below their feet.
They were right to call her after they had identified what was left of her missing colonel and they had warned her, but she pushed past the bodies.
What was left of him lied in a black bed of ashes, clutching a part of Barry’s armor to his chest and a transmutation circle newly etched into the back of his hand. And nothing, nothing could stop her from her knees hitting the ground painfully and letting the tears freefall as he looked right at her, a satisfied smirk on his lips, transmutations marks on his cheeks, and eyes that told her “I’m sorry.”

Touring Barcelona
Barcelona is the largest city in the Catalonia region of Spain. With a population of 1.6 million people within its city limits, this is easily the largest metropolis on the Mediterranean Sea. When Rebecca and I arrived in late June, the weather was extremely warm and pleasant. Donned in comfortable sneakers, tanktops, and sneakers, we put down some serious miles during our two-day walking tour of these historic streets.
The Columbus monument, built in 1888 for the World Exposition, honors Christopher Columbus’ first voyage to the Americas.
This monument was the first landmark we encountered as we left the Barcelona Port and entered into the city. This iconic symbol commemmorates the historical voyages of Christopher Columbus who reported his findings to Queen Isabella I and King Ferdinand V in Barcelona, Spain after his first trip to the newly discovered continent.
Big John arrives in Barcelona
Big John demonstrates how real men aren’t afraid to wear plaid shorts.
My beautiful travel companion props up an elbow on the Barcelona streets.
These magnificent palm trees are a common form of vegetation along Barcelona’s parks and streets.
Big John on Barcelona’s famous La Rambla Street.
La Rambla, is a street in central Barcelona that is popular with tourists and locals alike. This tree-lined pedestrian mall stretches for 1.2 kilometers connecting Plaça de Catalunya in the center with the Christopher Columbus Monument at Port Vell.
La Rambla is the mecca for Barcelona tourism.
This famous walking trail is a gold-mine for souvenir seekers. Just about everything can be purchased here, from salt-water taffy to knock-off designer purses.
A Chinese dragon can be seen protruding from the corner of the building, offering testament to Barcelona’s cultural diversity.
It seems when laundering, open-air drying is the norm in most Mediterranean cities.
Street vendors peddle their wares under the backdrop of the Barcelona Cathedral.
The  Barcelonal Cathedral, or the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia, is a Gothic architectual wonder. Dating back to the 13th century,  this ornate cathedral is open to tourists and contains a gift shop within. The roof is most notable for its gargoyles and features a wide range of animals, both domestic and mythical.
Scooters and motorbikes seem to be one of the more popular modes of transportation in Barcelona.
If one doesn’t mind the crowds, the areas in and around La Rambla is a shopper’s paradise.
If you would rather ride than walk, the Barcelona City Tour offers a way to see the city from the comfort of a double-decker bus.
The Mercat de Sant Josep de la Boqueria – the famous market of Barcelona
The Mercat de Sant Josep de la Boqueria, often simply referred to as La Boqueria, is a large public market in the Ciudad Vieja district of Barcelona and one of the city’s leading tourist attractions.
Spanish ham from Jabugo is diplayed in many of the markets and restaurants throughout the city.
Imagery such as this is what diabetic dreams are made of!
If you came to Barcelona for the candy and nuts, you came to the right place!
Every good popsicle salesperson knows you can’t truly be successful unless your hair color matches the flavor of the week.
Dates, figs, apricots, and other dried fruits can be found in abundant supply inside La Boqueria.
This colorful fruit stand featured some of the largest cherries I had ever seen.
Kindly remove your pinky finger off of the crustacean, ma’am! Can’t you read the sign?
… and this was the precise moment I swore off fish forever.
According to some research, benefits of the medjool dates include improved digestion, nutrient uptake, vision health, osteoporosis, hormone issues, low metabolism, constipation & wound healing. If any of that bears truth, these sweet and chewy treats should practically sell themselves.
When you’ve seen one Spanish ham hock, you’ve undoubtedly seen them all.
The market offers a variety of food choices to appeal to its diverse clientele, for instance, this particular section is very popular amongst zombies and serial killers.
Deciding to forego the sheep brains and big-eyed goat heads, I figured the citrus would prove a much safer bet.
I thought the sight of these palm trees against the Spanish architecture was worthy of a picture.
Looks like this guy is off to the metal scrap yard with his cart full of treasures.
Barcelona’s Port Vell aerial tramway first opened in 1931.
This high-altitude tourist attraction offers excellent views of the city and its port. The tramway starts at Miramar Station, at an altitude of 187 feet , and carries passengers to  the top of Torre Sant Sebastià (a 78-meter tall free standing lattice tower)at 282 feet.
I’m not certain of this building’s significance, but I felt that the intricate details of its rooftop were definitely worth admiring.
Two Barcelona officers on a stroll towards the entrance of the Museu de Cera.
The Museu de Cera is a popular museum featuring waxwork figures of historical and cultural significance.
These wax figures near the museum’s entrance aren’t wax at all. When paid to do absolutely nothing but stand around, these statuesque street performers stay committed to the task!
I would hate to see Galileo’s bathwater following a hard day at work!
…so this is what became of Jim Carrey’s acting career.
Open-air dining along the La Rambla pedestrian trail.
The Osterhase street cafe seats its patrons under the shade of orange trees and umbrellas.
Original or crispy, there’s nothing more “Kentucky” than eating Kentucky Fried Chicken in the heart of Catalonia!
  Breakin’ in Barcelona!
Barcelona received an estimated 32 million tourists in 2017.
Visitors congregate in front of the Santa Maria del Pi’s grand entrance.
The Santa Maria del Pi is another spectactular 14th-century Gothic church in Barcelona. It is situated on the Plaça del Pi, in the Barri Gòtic district of the city.
The 2 Bis Artesania craft workshop and gift store
During our wanderings, we stumbled upon the 2 Bis Artesania. Located in the city center, this shop boasts being one of the most important craft workshops in town, and the go-to place for anybody looking for unique gifts.
Rebecca stands outside a shop window full of an assortment of whimsical figurines.
Barcelona’s Roman past can still be felt when touring her ancient streets.
Barcelona has a fascinating history. The city was founded by Phoenicians and Carthaginians. The original name of the city was Barcino, likely named after the Carthaginian ruler, Hamilcar Barca, in the 2nd century, BC. The settlement eventually grew to become the largest known Roman village outside of Rome itself. As evident in many of these pictures, both the Gothic period and the time of Modernism have left their traces that still remain intact today.
Much of Barcelona is very pedestrian-friendly and reserved for foot traffic only.
Barcelona is home to Massimo Dutti and other high-end retail stores.
Numerous drinking fountains are situated throughout the city for its thirsty wanderers; they are know to attract extremely attractive women such as the one pictured here.
  The Obama Gastropub in Barcelona
When I saw the sign outside the establishment, I really had no idea what to expect inside. Was the eatery named after our 45th president our was our 45th president named after the place. As it turned out, the Obama Gastropub is a charming American English centuries-old pub in colonial style decor. The staff was very friendly and helpful, serving up delicious food ranging from homemade burgers to authentic Spanish tapas. As Rebecca and I had worked up quite the thirst, we were well pleased by Obama’s wide range of imported beers.
Although I didn’t vote for the guy, Obama was gracious enough to invite me in for a beer summit.
Two members of Obama’s welcoming staff.
Although our Obama was an American president, this joint offered more of a  British flare.
A tour bus picks up an awaiting passenger outside the Barcelona Coliseum.
Although this coliseum appears ancient, it was actually constructed in 1923. The building remains one of the biggest film theatres in the city as well as an iconic example of 1920s monumental architecture.
Rebecca eats a protein bar while naked Romans enjoy a cluster of grapes in the pool behind her.
  The Beer’ilnale in Barcelona
Beer’linale opens its doors in 2016. The establishment prides themselves as offering the best craft beers on the market to pair perfectly with excellent Mediterranean cuisine. This taproom features over 180 craft beers, 30 on tap, and over 80 Spanish tapas and dishes.
Yeah, with delicious foods and excellent craft beer, you can see we’re all smiles!
I believe this young lady at the bar might just be flirting with me!
A busy day to be out and about in the streets of Barcelona.
Don’t look behind you, just walk towards the sound of my voice!
One funny quirk about Rebecca is she’s deathly afraid of birds. With the horde of threatening pigeons approaching fast, I need to find this girl her safe space.
The bit of topography observed at the end of this street offers evidence of Barcelona’s hilly terrain.
It appears that the Barcelona police are somehow on to me!
From Comedy Clubs to Cathedrals, Barcelona seems to have a little bit of everything.
This building is one of the many unmistaken works of Antoni Gaudi.
Antoni Gaudi (1852-1926) was an architect from Reus, Catalonia, Spain. He is the best known as a practitioner of Catalan Modernism. Gaudí’s works have a highly individualized and distinctive style that is easily recognizable. Most of Gaudi’s creations can be found in the streets of Barcelona.
A talented caricature artist sketches a portrait of her posed subject.
Sorry officer, she’s already found her a lawman!
An example of ancient and beautiful architecture can be seen on the dome of this winged statue, overlooking the famous Passeig de Gracia Street.
  More of Gaudi’s handiwork.
Those grimy kids are bathing in that water! Are you sure you want to drink it?
That looks just like my castle at home… only it’s a lot bigger. Alright, you got me! I live in a van down by the river.
Rebecca stands in front of Antoni Gaudi’s most famous creation, the Sagrada Família.
The Basílica de la Sagrada Família is the largest unfinished Roman Catholic church in the world. On March 19, 1882, Antoni Gaudí began work on this highly distinctive place of worship. The celebrated architect worked tirelessly on the temple for 43 years until construction was halted by his untimely death on June 10, 1926. It was three days earlier, on June 7, when Gaudí was tragically struck by a passing tram while crossing the street. Due to his poor dress and haggard appearance, bystanders mistook him for a vagrant and didn’t offer him the immediate medical assistance that might have saved his life.  Gaudí is buried in the chapel of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in the crypt of the Sagrada Familia. Work remains on Gaudí ‘s basilica to this day and is in its final stage of construction.
The flags of many nations are represented on this narrow Barcelona street.
The Restaurante Miño is well known in Barcelona for freshly served fish and Spanish tapas.
This place evidently serves hanging ham hocks and hard drinks!
When touring Barcelona, we found that the best way to enjoy the city was through our palates. Visitors to this Catalonian capital will find an amazing food culture ranging from reasonably priced daily menus to internationally renowned Michelin-starred eateries.
Whether one is exploring the city’s historical center, or perched high on a terrace with views of the Mediterranean, the tastes of Barcelona are certain to please! While I enjoyed craft beers, Rebecca was more inclined to sip a glass of Spanish red wine. Barcelona is truly an international city with something to satisfy the taste of every visitor.
I hope you enjoyed our photo-journey through the streets of Barcelona and I pray that you’ll visit my site again soon. Please send a comment my way so I know you were here or share some love on social media – Muchas gracias, amigos!
Happy travels,
Big John
