Young Sheldon Series Finale: 7x14 Memoir

THE SHAMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰

Okay, so I have a lot of mixed feelings about this episode. I do not think it was very elegant in its execution, firstly, and secondly WE SERIOUSLY NEEDED MORE SHAMY LIKE WHAT THE HELL YOU GUYS IS THIS ALL WE ARE GOING TO GET OF SHAMY FOR LIFE??? Ugh! I was hyping myself up so so much about seeing married old couple Shamy, and don't get me wrong, it was amazing, but also in other ways disappointing. It seemed very limited in its emotional scope, and while I loved that it was brought home regarding Sheldon's relationship with his own son, it didn't quite reach the emotional heights they were going for, or at least what they could have gone for.

LIKE WHY COULDN'T WE HAVE SEEN SHELDON ACTUALLY INTERACT WITH HIS CHILDREN YOU GUYS WE WERE ROBBED 😩😩😩

AND SHELDON HAS A BABY GIRL AND WE DIDN'T EVEN GET TO SEE GIRL DAD SHELDON OR EVEN KNOW HER NAME I AM DEVESTATED

I know there was a limited time to the episode with them having to conclude all the storylines and everything, but they could have made this last episode an hour, would it have really killed them? It was like we were given a peep-sized hole view into Shamy's family life, and that was it! I wanted THE WHOLE PICTURE, I wanted to see it sprawling and majestic in all its beauty!!! UUUUUUUUUUUUGH!

Although, when Amy stepped towards Sheldon threateningly to get his cute ass into the shower and get ready for their son's game, I about lost it! OMG. Momma Amy don't play! And Sheldon cowered/flinched like he just KNEW to his bones that he crossed the line and lost the battle! (The blood was draining from the boy's face big time!! 😂😂😂) That was kind of hot not gonna lie... 🥵 *fans self* *swoons* *faints* But why did Amy get rid of all his nerdy shirts?? 😭 LET THE BOY LIVE HIS LIFE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! But we did get to see him in his cute cuddly robe most of the episode and then sporting his hot Dad-polo shirt! So that was something! 😍

Another aspect that I didn't like about this episode is how they handled the situation with Mary Cooper. I believe it is very truthful, unfortunately so, that those who are "adults" in our lives fail us at the times we need them the most, but I don't like how the episode tried to frame it in a good light. The fact that Mary Cooper essentially emotionally abandoned her children and was forcing them to get baptisms (spiritually abusive) was pretty messed up! The way that MeeMaw placed the burden of responsibility on Missy and Sheldon (children who the adults should be supporting during what is quite literally the worst time of their lives!!!) was also super messed up too! Yet none of this is called out for what it is, but instead the writers try to turn it into a special, warm fuzzy moment between mother and son! Nah, I'm not buying it. Especially since the relationship between Mary Cooper and Sheldon is so special to me. I really don't know what else they could done, but I don't believe they should have done any of that. It was a really weird and awkward note to end the series on, even if it was hilarious how Sheldon showed up to his baptism in his whole scuba outfit! (Made even more hilarious by the fact that we learn that despite all of that, he still got an ear infection! Oh son...)

Oh well. I guess it is what it is! I am still just trying to process it all. I will probably be watching the Shamy moments on repeat forever! And I guess go back to my headcanons...

Oh, final note: I was seriously thinking for a moment there that Sheldon Prime and young Sheldon were going to meet! I think that would have been kind of cool actually if we got Sheldon talking/interacting with Sheldon (particularly for the Iain and Jim interaction!), but maybe it would have been a bit too on the nose. Although, that is Sheldon's MO. Still, I really, really loved that final moment when Sheldon Prime walks through his house in his memory and then turns around and it flashes back to his younger self speaking to Missy. I actually think that "last" moment between Sheldon and Missy is achingly beautiful as he tells her that he has no choice but to remember her, and she just laughs at him smugly. *lays down cries cries a lot*

Hello smooches, its been a while. I hope that you are doing well (also pls don't push urself too hard) 🙏 sorry for disappearing (again) and not answering ur question since i'm taking the past few weeks to recuperate from my illness, and now i feel a lot better! Okay, now back to ur question about "have i watch the theory about Capitano being the Bloodstained Knight" and the answer is yes, i watched and read a LOT of that theory around the internet. Its really fascinating! Also, there are some theories that Capitano is Imunlaukr from Sal Vindagnyr (iirc its from Dragonspine?) One of the founding clans of Mondstadt. And then there's "Menogias (the Geo Yaksa) = Capitano" Theory too. There are a lot of theories about him still going around to this day 😂 and i just consume all of it

When he saw Capitano, even with that helmet of his, it is described that Capitano have "eerily dark blue eyes that 'glows' with an uncanny aura". His EYES literally "GLOWS" 😶 at this point, is he even a human now?? 😭 mans got that "glow in the dark" eyes. That is REALLY cool but also very scary.

Just imagine u were walking in Snezhnaya's forest at night trying to find some wood for ur kitchen fuel and then u accidentally came across this man, looking straight into ur soul with his glowing dark blue eyes 💀💀

well well, tears still taste good. guess who? first of all, i love daemons character development SO much! ive got the feeling as if this part is about him. like its not totally but his character is SO big there. i love how whiny and desperate he is. he feels like the man who gave his life to save his wife. the brothers' relationships !! the first scene got me 1) a little amused 2) softened 3) thinking. 1) drunk bubbling mess daemon? i giggled. he does hilarious things. 2) THE brothers relationships TT how viserys takes care of him like he IS the baby brother? oh and i never really noticed you using it in another parts so it made SO much sense for me here. as ive said, it made this part SO abt daemon. and how daemon sees his older brother as the father figure while next to him hes just a rebellious child whos saying 'fucking viserys' and then beggs him to let him wed. GOT ME CHOKING ON MY THOUGHTS 3) i was confused at first. yeah he sees viserys as the father figure but. was he that drunk to just mistake him? to talk to the dead? were these just his true feelings? AND one time when he said kepa and viserys stopped talking i even got a thought that maaaybe daemon does it intentionally and manipulatively. but hes too baby brother for this. AND also i was confused bc ?? bro?? youre married? in valyrian way? its even more valuable? why r u mopping? so that made me think even MORE abt his character's development AND depth. bc this inner conflict causes self-hatred? maybe not this in particular but he absolutely does think he deserves love. neither from his wife nor from the brother. BOOM the circle is closed! the number of issues this character has and the way you empicture them are amazing. (not me wanting to see more daemon being desperate for love and EVERYONE's approval. just imagine him finally having the wedding with the reader in the morning and at midnight he presses his tear-stained face to his bride's hip, begging to not leave him and not despise him) i love this ineer conflict that generates the conflict between brothers and vice versa. these being SO connected just make them more significant and intense. hits hard. (sorry, im dry and tired so not so many emotions today) then THE king just goes to a museum klerk in the sake of his brother? ok later. BTW! i LOVE how you got museum involved! thanks for not abandoning it TT i find idea of creating a westeros' history museum and then making it so connected with the characters it means to tell about so enchanting!! youre really big brained for it! (and oberyn martell?? girl you said you wouldnt write for pedro pascal GIRL) language and especially addresses! 'WIFEY' got me literally screaming. THE addresses??? all 'my love's and husbands and wifes and all just make me so excited. 1) this make them seem so in love to not even consider other names existence 2) still abt daemon but TT it makes so much sense for his personality TT this and his obsession with marrying the reader make him so desperate! as if all these can become the tower where a dragon keeps his bride in, defending her from the world (i LIVE for dragons references). and yk what? theres a russian poet Alexander Blok who created the image of 'Majestic Eternal Wife' (quote) and i can see daemon seeing the reader as this Majestic Eternal Wife. and shes kinda is but also not really. but for him? absolutely. and this thought hits me HARD. and the beginning of investigation? omg is it based on the thoughts i gave you🥺 i want to think so and i think its cute. AND i absolutely love how AEGON starts to ask questions! like they both do but its aegon whos making it so suspicious so they need to learn more abt it. their dynamic is so canon. everyone overrates aemond a bit. hes smart and badass and all but hes quiet and rather passive. he can pick a book and suspect but not confront daemon suddenly. and brothers' dynamic are actually so accurate! you absolutely made in canon. part 2 with all the praises is coming! IM GLAD I GOT YOU FEELING THOSE THREE SCENES. like i mentioned before, i had the fic written halfway before finishing it yesterday, so though i know what happens in the fic, it wasn't so fresh in my memory, so when i reread it T_T i was so satisfied with how i made them interact. drunk daemon is vulnerable daemon, honest with the alcohol and i luv him. i also love their relationship so much. my younger bro is also 4 years younger than me and sometimes i look at him and i think damn that was the kid i helped walk dafaq T_T so yeah. daemon is forever a baby in viserys eyes, esp since its just him and daemon

It was a chillier day than usual in the winter and temperatures were dramatically dropping

You were tired of being cooped up in the small little house so you were just roaming around in front of your porch and playing with the fluffy snow

You smol child were too busy cutely hopping around to notice a wolf lurking behind the trees oH SNAP

It wasn’t until it got a little closer that you felt a strange presence and you know that eery feeling in the horror movies where it’s like …..i feel like someone is there…..

You immediately stopped and cautiously looked around you

You would have missed it if you weren’t so keen about your surroundings bc the wolf so easily blended in with the forest and snow

yOU WERE GONNA SCREAM BUT dude they can probably smell fear that’s not your best choice here

your heart leapt in your throat so you couldn’t have screamed even if you wanted to (you did)

Gdi your grandpa was out running errands and he left like half an hour ago so you’re kinda screwed!!!

The wolf looked so,,, ethereal and majestic with its mix of black, gray, and white fur and it was still pretty young

It looked more like a wild husky so beautiful i love dogs

But you obviously didn’t have time to soak in their beauty you were about to get eaten for pete’s sake

You were very very very slowly backing away from it your door was only a few steps away

buT IT KEPT INCHING TOWARDS YOU LIKE PLS LEAVE ME ALONE ALL YOU WANTED WAS TO MAKE A SNOWMAN (it doesn’t have to be a snowman im sorry that joke is old)

You decided that maybe since this winter was harsher than normal it was hard finding food

So once your back hit the wall yOU SLAMMED & LOCKED THAT SHIT

You rummaged through your fridge to see if you could find absolutely anything for the wolf to leave you tf alone

“Aha!” you grabbed a piece of red meat and cut up a fourth of it into smaller chunks

You were pretty damn smart like we’re talking about how a pre teen be doing all of this

You brought your cutting board to your window and sure enough the wolf was still outside your house yiKES

You cautiously opened your window and you could see the little ears perking up

You threw the pieces as far as it could reach the wolf in the hopes of him leaving once he’s gathered his meal

At first the wolf jumped back in surprise like ??? what’s this human doing?????

After a few minutes of inspecting the meat the wolf cautiously approached the makeshift meal and started to gobble all of it in seconds flat

You’re just like,,,,,,,,,,,,,, that could have been me oh my god,,,,,,,,,,

After it finished eating it looks back up to you and even from afar you can see gratitude and hints of,,,, sorrow??? in its eyes

It turns back to the forest and disappears as fast as it came

All your little body can do is slump against the door clutching your beating heart like i WAS GONNA DIE TODAY

You thought that would be the last time you were gonna encounter a wolf but there wouldn’t be a plot then lmao

You managed to prevent any more wolf encounters as you grew up and by the time you hit 20 you have been successful

But all good things must come to an end

You decided to go to a college nearby to still help take care of your aging gramps but the school isn’t all half bad it’s pretty decent so good for you reader!!

It was now winter break aka the longest school holiday your college granted you with so you decided to return home and spend some Quality Time with your grandpa

Your grandpa’s health has been declining more apparently than ever

One time you had to rush him to the hospital because he fell unconscious and you were trying so hard not to tear up and be strong the whole time

You stayed overnight at the hospital despite the nurse insisting you return home but you just camped outside the hospital room and slept there

You woke up to a random blanket on you and you figured it was just a nurse who knew better than to convince you

Your grandpa quickly recovered in a matter of days go gramps

When he was finally discharged and you were approaching the front desk about the bill they were like “oh it’s already been paid for”

“What that’s strange I didn’t even get the bill yet”

“Someone walked in last night and said they’ll take care of it for you miss”

You thank her and walk away in confusion like,,,, ofc you’re grateful that you didn’t have to pay but who on earth would do that?????

One day you wanna explore the forest because i mean you lived next to it for basically almost your entire life and you don’t even know what it looks like!

Ofc your grandpa is like do you wanna get killed child um

“Pls gramps I lived my whole life being terrified of that forest and now that I’m older I kinda want to see what it looks like,,,, I’ll stay close enough to have the house in my view!”

“sigh,,,, well you’re an adult now I trust that you can make decisions for yourself so,,,, fine”

So off you go to your death exploring

You’re amazed by how enchanting the forest looks like from within, nothing like what you see from your house

The snow only adds more of a magical sense

There’s a small pond and some bushes where you guess is the deer’s habitat but they probably left to find a warmer spot

You push yourself to discover more about the forest so you inch just a litttttle farther

You see a bridge and think ????? did someone live here or something why is there a bridge?????

And being the curious cat you are you crossed it only to see aNOTHER HOUSE LIKE UM WHO THE

you hear some muffled talking and you’re just likE OH CRAP I GOTTA SCRAM so you hide behind a fairly big trunk just in time before some faces are in your view

You see a group of men around the same age as you and at first they seem to be normal but what’s normal about living in the middle of the woods????

You carefully eye each of them, and you mentally do a headcount of 13

One of them immediately catches your eye and you can’t help but feel a sense of familiarity

He’s wearing a gray turtleneck and black skinny jeans with a gray winter coAT SLJDKFLJDSFLJFDSLJFDLJDFSJDSF I LOVE WONWOO THE MODEL

He seems to be aware of you and he’s like @ the group

“Guys… do you sense someone here?”

He scans the area one more time and does a little head shake before heading inside

you can’t help but feel a tug in your heart because he just looked so disheartened and dejected

And he sWEARS he could have smelled your scent but maybe it was his brain tricking him like it did all these years :(((

You try to calm down like ok look it’s still probably around noon and the sun is still out you still have time

That is until you hear a crunch of a leaf

And you’re like oH MY GOD NOW WHAT

You turn around to see you’re surrounded by dark black wolves

This is it this is where you die

And you’re trying to find an escape but you’re practically cornered

“Please….. Go find something else to devour……. I swear I am not tasty at all…………… I’m all bones you wouldn’t want that right aHAHA………...”

One of them inches closer to you and you can guess it’s probably the alpha male since it seems to be the biggest

And you’re like welp i lived a good life IM S ORRY GRAMPS YOU WERE RIGHT

You’re in the middle of having a mental breakdown when the alpha suddenly bares his teeth and you know it’s gonna go down

Just as it’s about to leap on you, you see another blurry figure slAMMING INTO THE ALPHA

A full on wolf battle is going on right in front of you

Not only did that wolf come but his entire pack did so it’s pack vs pack

And some black wolves are still trying to get @ you ;))) to devour you ;)))

But obv the other pack is like dON’T TOUCH HER and you’re super confused bc

Well there’s obviously more than one thing to be confused about but your main concern is why am I not getting eaten??????

You can’t help but notice the one who rammed his body in your attacker has very,,,, familiar looking fur,,,,,,

And you’re like oMG NO,,,, NO IT CAN’T BE HOW

Since the wolf brawl has temporarily taken the focus off of you, you’re like ok this is my chance 2 escape

You don’t get too far like probably 15 feet when you’re feeling really lightheaded and nauseous

You stumble upon a tree and try to steady yourself but the events took a huge toll on you and so you collapse

Right before you do you feel someone’s arms holding your waist up and some yelling

By the time you regain consciousness the sun is about to set

And you’re trying to keep your cool and escape as fast as you can but he’s right on your heels

He is nOT gonna let you leave so easily after spending the past decade thinking about you

You reach the outside of the house and you realize,,,, hey it’s the house i saw earlier,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

He eventually reaches you and pulls you around by the arm and you almost gasp when you see the intense look he has in his eyes

“I,,, can’t let you leave just yet”
