i may have been watching the video game docu series on netflix called "HIGH SCORE" and omfg i love it, heres some fun things i learned that everyone should know:
-The alien octopus things in space invaders was inspired by war of the worlds which was popular in the creators, Tomohiro Nishikados, childhood
-Pac man was designed with the intention to attract women gamers and by god it worked, those 80s women couldnt get enough of the funky dude (also he was designed after a pizza with a slice taken out of it :D )
-The first space invaders esports winner, Rebecca Heinemen, is a transwoman, what is with trans people and video games and being so awesome
-Kirby was designed after John kirby, the lawyer who defended nintendo in a copyright case against Universal Studios cause of donkey kong and king kong
-game modding culture stems from four mit dropouts who got sued by atari but then ended up striking a deal with them and made mrs pac man (OH HONEY DONT YA KNOW, IM MORE THAN PAC MAN WITH A BOW)
-the Famicom by nintendo was redesigned for the us cause apparently the original design of burgundy and white was too childish and family fun type to sell, so their marketing lady, Gail Tilden (icon), got it redesigned to be more sleek and renamed it to the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)
-sonic the hedgehogs designer, Naoto Ohshima, WENT AROUND CENTRAL PARK ASKING PEOPLE OUT OF THREE DESIGNS WHICH ONE THEY LIKED BEST

Since we already have a Swedish man and a Russian man in Tekken, we clearly need a Finnish woman in Tekken.
In the middle. Because Finland is in the middle.
Between those massive man tits.

“I had a dream, though,” I say, thinking back. “I was following a mockingjay through the woods. For a long time. It was Rue, really. I mean, when it sang, it had her voice.”
“Where did she take you?” he says, brushing my hair off my forehead.
“I don’t know. We never arrived.” I say. “But I felt happy.”
...
Peeta pulls the chain with the gold disk from around his neck. He holds it in the moonlight so I can clearly see the mockingjay. Then his thumb slides along a catch I didn’t notice before and the disc pops open. It’s not solid, as I had thought, but a locket. And within the locket are photos. […]
“Your family needs you, Katniss,” Peeta says.
My family. My mother. My sister. And my pretend cousin Gale. But Peeta’s intention is clear. That Gale really is my family, or will be one day, if I live. That I’ll marry him. So Peeta’s giving me his life and Gale at the same time. To let me know I shouldn’t ever have doubts about it. Everything. That’s what Peeta wants me to take from him.
...
He puts the chain with the locket around my neck, then rests his hand over the spot where our baby would be. “You’re going to make a great mother, you know,” he says.
...
As I drift off, I try to imagine that world, somewhere in the future, with no Games, no Captiol. A place like the meadow in the song I sang to Rue as she died. Where Peeta’s child could be safe.
....

ゲーム本編では見れないけどデジタルアートブックに載ってるレインコート無しのハララの衣装が好き。
Although we can't see it in the game, I like Halara's outfit without the raincoat. (You can see it in the digital art book.)
おまけ/BONUS
Lines:
Yakou: Hey, Halara... I know I said you could use it, but don't you think it's about time to give back the seat to your chief?
Halara: I don't think so.
Yakou: Ah... I see...

If you're still up for the fanon swap, could I ask for a blazeborn Grian?
hermitcraft's resident pesky blaze believes arson is the answer to every question, even the ones that haven't been asked yet.
