Why I Believe That Byler Is Endgame (based only on what we have seen on the show). part 2
And by that, I mean: no color-coding analysis, no set props analysis, no actor interviews interpretation, no script analysis, no movies parallels analysis; nada. Only what we’ve seen on the show and nothing else.
This will use a lot of comparisons with m/leven because, despite the fact that some of you refuse to admit it, this is a love triangle.
season 3: puberty and changes
In season 1, El was found by Mike, Lucas and Dustin in the woods while searching for Will. Although the main goal of the party is to find and save Will, they also keep El safe and hidden from the laboratory and Dr. Brenner.
In season 2, Lucas and Dustin are mostly focused on Max, while, on the other hand, we see how during the whole season Mike protects Will and is showed that he has been trying to communicate with El this whole time.
mileven breakup
This is the first season in which Will and El coexist with each other in the same space, and how it affects Mike and his relationships with them. However, I want to make emphasis on the two key moments that take place this season of the two relationships: the breakup and the farewell.
The tone of the scene is unserious and carefree, with bright colors during a sunny day. The scene is not intimate; in fact, everyone reacts to El breaking up with Mike. 'Cold As Ice', a song that describes a lover who is materialistic and selfish (Mike buying a present for El instead of telling her the truth), plays in the background. Mike is left confused while El is rejoicing in the moment with Max.

The tone of the of the scene is serious and somber, with muted colors and downpouring in the background. Despite Lucas being at Mike's house as well, the scene feature only them and no one else. In the two bottom pictures, Will's expression is one of hurt and betrayal, and Mike expresses inmediate regret at the words he just said.

the finale
Mike's conversation with Will
Before this episode, I was still on the fence about whether i was reading too much into it or not, but this season finale, in my opinion, confirmed that Mike probably had feelings for Will. Let me show it in images.
We know that three months had passed since the battle at Starcourt, and the Byers are moving. Even though it's not explained what happened during that period of time, it's easy to infer that Mike and Will are in somewhat good terms again.
Tumblr media
It starts simple, with Mike askingEel if she packed her walkie and with promises of talking to her often and of whether they are going to meet each other for thanksgiving and christmas. El is about to leave, after the conversation with Mike turns awkward, but decides to turn around instead and makes their conversation serious.

... and his face is just pure confusion. love that open closet right behind him tho
The Byers move to California, and with them, so do his girlfriend and his best friend since he was five years old; to put it simply, is a huge change in everyone's lives, but especially in Mike's life. This is one of the few times since season 3 in which we actually get to focus on mike's emotions and perspective but I believe is one of the most important moments for his characters.

Don’t Take It Personal - Calum Hood
Anonymous said:  Hiii love! Love you’re writing :)) I was hoping that you could write a Calum imagine based off the song Perosnal by the Vamps bc that just have me Cal vibes when you’re at the club and he just can’t get you off his mind but you’re dating someone omg !!
A/N: oh thanks!! That makes me extremely happy! Here it is! I love this song! It does gie you extreme Cal vibes!
Pairing: Calum x reader
Warnings: none
Words: 1127
Summary: Calum saw you and he immediately had to come up to you and talk. He offered you a drink, but you declined kindly as you were seeing someone. He never gave up, hoping he’d be able to get a shot. Because personally, he thinks he’d be a better fit for her.

Calum’s POV
I honestly don’t even know what I’m doing here. I don’t even feel like going out, but Luke and Ashton had insisted I’d come. They said it’d be nice to get out of my house and forget about Nia for a while.  So, now I’m leaning against a bar with a beer in hand, looking out to people grinding on each other, all of them piss-drunk. I really wish I hadn’t come out. There’s literally nothing interesting today. No one that even seems interesting in the slightest.  That is until the sea of people split right in front of me and the most beautiful girl walks out with what I assume is one of her friends trailing behind her. They’re both laughing loudly and look sweaty, presumably from dancing. The first girl looks at me and gives me a smile before turning to the bartender.  “The same, please, Antoni,” she yells over the music. I look at her for a moment. She has amazing bone structure and the most adorable nose I’d ever seen. Her cheekbones are highlighted severly, making them pop, and her eye makeup is quite hefty, but looks really good. She seems really good with makeup. I wonder if she does it as her job. Maybe she’s still a student in college or something. She doesn’t look much younger than me. Three years younger to the most.  The bartender hands her her drink, and she thanks him before turning to me.  “I can feel you staring, you know?” she shouts into my ear before putting the straw between her lips and drinking from her cocktail.  “Sorry, can’t help it. You’re beautiful,” I tell her, not even sure where this sudden confidence is coming from. It might be her bright Y/E/C eyes or maybe her smile. Maybe it’s the combination of both.  “I’m sorry, but I’m seeing someone,” she tells me, giving me an apologetic smile. My heart breaks a little at that. Of course she’s taken. A girl as beautiful as her wouldn’t be single. It would be too good to be true.  “Oh,” I mumble. She gives me one last smile before walking away from me and disappearing into the crowd again. I sigh deeply. Am I really going to let her walk away? I can’t become one of those annoying boys trying to get all up in her space just for her number. But I don’t want to give up either. Maybe we could just be friends or something. She seems cool. I would want to be friends with her.
So, after a couple more shots and another beer, I pick up the courage to make my way through the sea of drunk, grinding people and find the girl from before.  “Hey, I never introduced myself,” I yell in her ear once I found her and we’d made eye contact. She looks at me with surprise, and something in me kind of tells me she was lying before when she said she was seeing someone.  “I never asked you to,” she says back, giving me a grin.  “I’m Calum,” I tell her, not even caring how she verbally tells me she’s not interested. Her eyes tell me enough to at least try once again.  “You guys really never give up, even though we tell you we’re seeing somebody, do you?” she asks me, laughing a little before sipping from her drink again. Those eyes are so intimidating and mysterious, it makes me want to try again and again until she breaks and tells me she was lying before. “I’m gay, would that help?” she then says, and it seems like she’s actually serious. I stop dancing and look at her.  “Oh,” I then say, blinking my eyes, “Well, maybe we could be friends,” I suggest, to which she laughs.  “You don’t go to clubs to make friends, Calum,” she tells me. My name coming from her lips has to be the most beautiful thing I had ever heard in my entire life.  “Well, I do,” I state, sticking with my point. I need to at least get to know her.  “Fine, let’s go outside to talk,” she says finally and grabs my hand to pull me along until we’re outside. The fresh summer breeze hits my arms and it feels nice after the heat from inside.  “So,” I then say, “Tell me something about yourself,” she chuckles, rolling her eyes at me before opening her mouth.  “I’m Y/N and I’m actually bisexual. And I am seeing someone,” she tells me and drinks again. I look at her, and can’t help but smile. She’s so gorgeous, even her voice sounds beautiful. I could listen to her talk all night long.  “Really? Who is it?” I ask her, “The girl from inside?” she shakes her head.  “No, I’m dating a guy named Jake. He’s ... something,” she trails off. There’s something in her eyes that tells me there’s more going on than just ‘something’.  “Not your prince Charming?” I question, genuinely interested.  “Not at all,” she sighs before looking back up to me, “He’s nice and all, but he’s so boring. I constantly feel like I’m talking to the walls, and all he really talks about is either how hot other girls are or how bisexuality isn’t a thing,” she explains to me, sadness in her tone. That doesn’t sound like a very healthy relationship. I can’t really say anything about it, can I?  “Hey, don’t take it personal, but I think you might be better off without him. And maybe... with like, someone else. Like me?” I try, the confidence still in my body. I blame the alcohol for this confidence. That and her beautiful eyes.  “You think so?” she asks, raising her eyebrows. She looks amused.  “Yeah, I’m not as big a dick as he is,” I tell her, making her laugh.  For the rest of the night, we stay outside and talk. She tells me about the guy and mostly complains about him. I tell her about Nia and the breakup we’re going through. This is even more fun than just picking a girl up from the club and bringing her home for a night of meaningless sex. This isn’t even going to end in sex. Not even in a kiss. This is just purely getting-to-know-each-other-from-scratch friendship. My favorite thing to do lately. And at the end of the night, I do end up with her number and suggest we’d hang out in the daylight too.  “You know, unless you’re a vampire,” I had added, jokingly.  “Oh, damn, you already know my darkest secret!” she had gasped dramatically before we both burst out into laughter. I hope this is the start of something beautiful. Even if it’s just a beautiful friendship.
