ur post abt spn au jesters clothes set me off thinking about her relationship with mollymauk and now I Gotta know how they interact in this au

molly first heard of jester when him and caleb were chatting one night while beau slept in molly's first season; caleb dished about this girl beau met a while back and how obviously enamoured they were with each other. it starts out as a story to kind of tease beau but ghe mood kind of dampened when caleb got to the part where, nights before his bargain with hell was paid, he encouraged beau to find jester again in his absence so she wouldn't be alone, and how beau... didn't do that. molly says jester sounds like an interesting girl and that he'd be excited to meet someone as colorful as him someday. "and goodness knows beau needs SOMEONE to get her to have fun."

then we get to molly's third season, and now the team is looking for a prophet so they can have info on how to stop the apocalypse. they find their way to jester, who knew they were coming to her state and is so excited to see them again!! OOH IS THIS MOLLY? THE ANGEL? oooooh caaalebbb hee hee hee

imagine jester having a direct celestial telepathic line into your thoughts and actions. including your crushes. poor caleb! (luckily widomauk are by this point very well practiced and suppressing their feelings For The Other's Sake so jester's attempts to get them to kiss, while an awkward bubbling to the surface, don't cause TOO much grief.)

luckily for beau, jester cannot foresee anything to do with herself, but this also means that jester thinks beau only has a crush on yasha (because she can't see beau's crush on HER TOO). and things are a little bit weird. because jester is still having trouble dealing with her attraction to beau as more than a friend and now she has this? jealousy? she should be happy for beau! but every time yasha is mentioned she feels so... weird and nauseous. and she doesn't like it. because beau and molly obviously adore yasha, so she should too! right?

so jester starts out feeling weird about molly because yasha is his closest person in the world and they have that HISTORY and she's seen molly tease beau about her and molly is so obviously on YASHA'S side and. ugh! so she just sort of avoids being alone with him.

then caleb and beau have to run out for the monster of the week and molly is left behind to guard jester. and they chat, and jester really likes molly! he's so fun, and not all gloomy! and she already knows what he thinks etc but that's different from actually meeting him, yknow?

she asks him questions about her sponsor, the traveler (who is secretly the archangel gabriel but she n molly don't know that). he can't give her much info bc 1. the traveler..? who? 2. his amnesia, but he tells her what he can about heaven and the other angels. "most of them are total sticks in the mud," he tells her. she says, "not mine!"

at some point jester remarks that she LOVES molly's wings they are SO pretty and colorful!! and this makes beau and caleb go.. YOU CAN SEE THEM? bc of course she can. beau & caleb have only properly seen them once or twice in very extenuating circumstances, and caleb especially burns with jealousy - then asks jester to describe them for his angel info notebook.

i think during a vulnerable moment later on, when angels/tomb takers are coming down on his head, molly almost asks jester about the gaps in his memory - is there anything she knows about who he was before that would be important to keep himself and his loved ones safe...? but then he stops himself, because he doesn't want to know. he's molly now, and now is what matters. jester helps him through this thought process and then they hug.

mostly they're buddies! like in cr. not Extremely close but they super enjoy each other.

"molly, your wings are sooooo pretty!!"

"thank you! still shiny after eternity."
