summary: kokomi didn't think the day would come where a genuine gasp of awe and admiration would slip out of her mouth.

It was in the middle of second year when you transferred into PK Academy, and for once in her life, it was Kokomi who had let out an "offu." Even while looking bored out of your mind, she thought an angel was sent from the heavens in the form of you as if to bless her even more than she already was.

You weren't rude. You were just a bit blunt. You said what was on your mind, and made no effort in looking like a goody-two-shoes. You weren't cruel, but you were assertive. In her eyes, it was amazing someone who had made the Teruhashi Kokomi gasp in awe didn't even try to put on perfect facade the way she did.

You politely rejected people, showing your annoyance when they didn't back off, something Kokomi would never dare to do to keep up her Perfect Pretty Girl act. You told repetitive suitors to back off. You somehow knew how to draw the line between being understandably upset and borderline mean.

You didn't hold back your laughs, you giggled to your heart's desire when you found something funny, not bothering with a small, decent one like Kokomi did. When you smiled, you smiled widely, like whatever was making you smile was the best thing to ever exist.

You didn't mind your friends' chaotic energies. Sometimes, you even indulged them. You'd pretend to be Kaidou's sidekick, fighting the Dark Reunion by his side. You would hype Nendou up, nodding in agreement whenever he told their little group he was a woman's dream. You even managed to joke around with Saiki, whispering to him most likely sarcastic comments. Kokomi once heard you tell him, "Whatever helps you sleep at night, Kuu-chan," with a grin after Saiki had insisted he didn't care for the idiots who called their selves his friends. You managed to get the straight faced man to smile, even if it was only subtle.

And finally, when she truly met you. When you had noticed her staring longingly at the display of you laughing with your friends, and you had stood up to say hi, to ask her if she needed anything.

She had been left speechless, staring into your eyes, getting lost. A strangled gasp mixed with an "uh" was all she could come up with. She had bowed her head and fled for her home, knowing the girl she greatly admired had probably been confused.

You never brought up the embarrassing moment, even after you finally became friends. You settled in what made her feel better around you, knowing where to draw the line.

If it meant anything, you were the perfect pretty girl in Kokomi's eyes. And it probably wouldn't mean anything to you, because you truly didn't care. And she admired it.

You were what she really, really wanted to be, she always told herself. She just idolized how laid back you were.

But every time she remembers the moment you rendered her speechless, she knows she didn't just admire you for that.

I'm a 5”5 girl w/ long wavy brown hair and blue/green eyes. I'm kind of chesty which makes me self-conscious so I mostly wear oversized hoodies. I genuinely enjoy hanging out and being friendly even if it leaves me feeling drained due to my anxiety disorder. Once I get comfortable around someone I'm pretty hyper and enjoy cracking jokes. Most of my free time is spent drawing or painting. I also enjoy collecting plushies, casual video games, helping out on my family’s farm, and playing w/ animals, especially dogs!! I have a secret love for the horror genre and a weakness for himbos (of all genders). I’m a bisexual disaster and basically the human equivalent of a nervous golden retriever.
