it might just be because i'm still and will always be on my bullshit, but the neverending halloween event in twst,,,, it did wonders for my unbalanced Ace/Yuu/Malleus love triangle theory.

like, Ace is out here worried about Yuu the entire time, mentioning finding them specifically multiple times (which no other character does), which is very sweet and would be impressively romantic (for this game) if Malleus hadn't already taken Yuu to the spectral realm himself and spent the night playing them foreboding gothic organ music and talking about his sad childhood probably while Ace,,,, got his ass beat by ghosts. they're playing the same game but they are NOT on equal ground and the devs are so valid for that.
