I actually think most of the mechanics and puzzles are really good (I probably have more fun in Zonai shrines then sheikah#on average) I also think expanding to the sky and underground was really smart and good. I think most of my issues are with the story#they did Zelda so dirty. sooooooo dirty. the three good things they did with her are 1 gave her good parental figures 2 cut her hair#3 tURNED HER INTO A FUCKING DRAGON. A WYRM. A CREATURE.#that’s probably my favourite main story thing besides maybe the companions and also Tulin#I love Teba the fact that his son is featured heavily and is done so good in this game is amazing.#also revali being basically never mentioned was really good. fuck you revali#love the Zonai HATE them founding Hyrule (or well rauru)#love the designs dragon goat people love good dad to Zelda the king can go fuck himself#the thing about me is I hate colonial the divine right of kings and monarchies so much. the kingdom of Hyrule stinks of these things#botw to me was in part a story of a monarchy failing. the king and the system failed Zelda failed Link and failed their kingdom.#I knew that more then likely they would be rebuilding the kingdom in the sequel but oh my gods does the addition of the politics of Hyrules#founding make it worse. there are so many people who have explained in detail this but right now my brain is just… GAH#*banging my head against the wall* can we PLEASE acknowledge the flaws of the Hylian royalty I’m not even asking for them to be discrowned#at this point I just want anything that isn’t this glorifying shit. and it sucks because I like Sonia!!! Shout-out to everyone who survived a "fun" easter with the family
#fucking hell#it started with finding out my dad smoked in my car when I picked up my sister#who was equally dreading the day#my mum turns into the world's tensest and judgemental presence. worsened by my aunt#then hell for autistic people (of which there are multiple present)#multiple deaf people means one uninspired conversation that isn't interesting in any way.#combinations of passive aggressiveness and people not saying a thing because they can't participate. voice volumes too damn high#weirdass food situations. Very full table. so many smells.#this goes on for over an hour. wishing for literally anything but being there. soul crushing.#then you still have to sit in that room for 2.5 hours. it just goes on and on.#my autistic deaf dad physically looks like how I feel. my mum and aunt keep piling on top of him to demand his mental presence#i leave the room once (to get my phone to show pictures to my uncle) and am immediately followed upstairs by my mum#who demands I don't leave the room (What's next. following me when I need the toilet?)#me and my sister are so bored we start throwing paper planes and fake fighting.#Which amuses the bored and the deaf#but of course my mum and aunt have opinions and this is not allowed. only soul crushing boredom allowed#they complain to each other over it while aggressively doing dishes#finally it ends because my mum and aunt start insisting my dad should go to bed if he's 'that tired'. *sprinkle on some additional ableism*#still sitting through a conversation about allergies one of my sister's friends has. my mum preaching that people should take that seriously#(meanwhile i had to cook for myself for 9 years because when my allergies were really bad no one bothered to check if i could eat something)#me and my sister go sit upstairs to discover our mum has made things we care about vanish in her room#and made things appear that should not be there#I've washed the interior of my car and hope the smell will go#you think it's over after that. but woke up with the realisation that even more things have disappeared from my sister's room.#i can't remember a time when things left outside of my room didn't disappear#I don't know why we do these family gatherings at all. no one has fun on days like that.#the housing crisis isn't making these things easy. my sister is losing her place to live again as well#she'll go hiking for a month and then work on a campsite over the summer#maybe I'll go house sitting again. idk.#can't make commitments a few months in advance like that because I'll cancel everything the second Sparks announces anything important

I have finally fixed the satyr dicks properly and, I believe, solved the penis glitch mystery. apparently you have to clone Exactly the WW body part you are making, or something goes screwy. so far, as long as I've done that, nothing has broken. which means I can finally do more sizes and the fem frame version of this thing.
#I stg I thought I'd already checked that#but maybe there was an issue with overwriting or something because I've had blips like that with s4s before#anyway it's behaved consistently ever since and it's the only thing that has#so I have to conclude this was the culprit and the day is saved#I am about to unleash so many dicks#also I redid the UV on these so now I gotta paint a new texture but it will be less work in the long run#ALSO I'm finally gonna see if I can also fix the layering issues I was having with the overlays#+ make an additional overlay to blend the penis into the full coverage satyr fur#the reason I wasn't doing this before is I like to work off a vanilla base#both to avoid taking anyone else's work and because the default ww meshes are super high poly#however that's why the lord invented the append tool

since pepper was asking for it something that girls do that always makes me think 'cool gender' is not change their names despite it being historically masculine and re-defining the name through their identity and relationship to it.

Got inspired by this by @oobbbear and the ideas from an ask sent to @vurelly ,had to get this down. Specific thoughts about the info below
SO! ABOUT THOSE NEW BOOK CRUMBS OF LORE ABOUT THE DCA.
I don't think that the theater programming was completely swapped for childcare. Both for the fact that Fazbear LOVES cutting corners as much as it likes recycling, and for just how physically emotive and dramatic both Sun and Moon are in-game. Its more likely that they swapped out protocols specific to the Theatre, audience interaction and the Stage itself as areas now irrelevant and with all that space, added in the rules, basics of childcare and the amped-up insistence of following the rules to help make the new routines become habit in as short a time as possible.
With the idea that they were meant for the Theatre, additions like the bells on shoes and wrists, how bright the Daycare is, how LOUD and UNENDING the Daycare theme music is- it's a BIG change from the dimmer, more controlled, and smaller space of the Theatre. It's easily sensory overworking, and it adds to the comment about Moon having odd behavior. Can only take just so many days of being pushed to The Limit before the call to go a little apeshit instead of being so nice all the time starts winning out.
Its almost certainly love of what the fandom's done with Moon having the virus talking- but the idea that it making that acting out worse? That similar behavior was happening BEFORE due to being put in a position he was struggling to function in, thus making the warning signs of infection go ignored until a child gets hurt? *Mwah*
I love that tragedy that could have been made less of a rock-bottom fall if anyone had been there to catch them. To care enough to question what wasn't working as intended. To make sure a transition so drastic was going well at all instead of assuming the best off of minimal complaints.

tfw you wanna try to play ttrpgs again, but ever since playing a few years ago during a certain two campaigns, you were bullied by people who you thought were your friends because you didn't know how to play and they made up reasons why they should dislike you irl. especially while you tried to be nice to them and give them space and tried to make steps towards interacting with them in rp too.
like no, it wasn't like "oh, it's just character interaction, these characters just don't like each other!" no it was "no joke, I absolutely hate your guts, Miss Iodine, fuck you and I'll be an arse to you in-game and irl. i will ignore everything you and your character say, i will attack your character because why not and say it's just what my character would do, and then start harassing my DMs"

My childhood best friend is getting married tomorrow and I'm having Feelings
