I'm not entirely sure if anyone that follows me really cares, but I just wanna put out there that all the crap with Tumblr's Post+ program has got me really disturbed and that y'all don't need to worry about me ever using that feature for my content.

(Not that I post a lot of original content lol)

#this.... is a little angstier then my usual content #on this blog i try to be as positive and upbeat as possible #i reblog almost all the content i like on here and try to leave positive and contructive comments on as many of the posts as possible #i try to boost up my mutuals as much as possible #i always pin an inspirational quote or positive image at the top of my blog #and i never ever post about real world issues politics or dark topics that could be potentially triggering for people #(though that last one might be a bit controversial)#that being said this topic is something that i feel pretty strongly abput #being able to create fanfics fanart gifsets and all sorts of fun fandom projects is a privilage not a right #fandom in general has worked real hard to get to the place where it is today #where fan content creators can create whatever content they want without having to explain that they dont own the characters they drew/wrote #where fan content creators dont have to worry about actual fucking lawsuits just because they were expressing joy about something they love #do you guys remember all the drama that went down with anne rice about a decade ago?#that bitch brought down lawsuit after lawsuit and unsettled the fandom community for a very long time #it really only takes one big coorperation (like disney) to decide they arent going to allow fandom content anymore and then nobody allows it #fair use can only protect a person so much #and if im honest one of the great things about tumblr is that everyone can see everything for free!#its whats seperates itself from other fandom sites that makes you pay for the content you want to see #*sigh* i really hope tumblr knows what theyre doing and i hope they have a really good team of lawyers set up as well #because you can bet your ass that to set up one of these post+ accounts you have to give tumblr a percentage of the profits you get...#god i hope im wrong on that last part lol #tumblr #artists of tumblr #fandom #fanfiction #fanart #07-21 #sleep #here have some beer and cookies for this long ass kinda sad ass post (havent done this in a while jesus chrisr lol 😂)#🍺🍪🍺🍪🍺
