Headcanon - Power Levels + Family (sorta)
Okay, stay with me here.
What I've kinda drawn up currently isn't *the best* representation of what I'm trying to get across while also staying somewhat myth-accurate.
In my view, based on what admittedly is a miniscule amount of research I thought I'd put in a neat chart how Iview the power levels of Gods and within the game of Hades.
Based on what we know ofc. Things get a bit weird when it comes to Chaos and Chronos because Chronos (in myths) is supposed to have spawned Chaos, and chaos's...egg...no. No I don't know why.
Obviously you can go by your own rules, we can mismatch and switch it up however way we want but as a base line I thought I'd get a kinda view of succession and power.
It's important to know that just because someone is "below" the other in the chart doesn't mean they are unable to still become stronger than those above them. I'm simply speaking on general birth-power as even Zeus needed his family's help and others to help take down the titans.
Each line might not be as *physically* stronger, but they do overthrow and gain power equal or above their previous ruler through plot, cunning, and other means.
Something I want to mainly point to is that I believe the Furies are very strong. I want to actually put them on the same level as the Incarnates and Chthonic Gods because they too are supposed to be as strong if not also as old as Aphrodite and the others. They were born alongside the other incarnates which were brought into existence as life flourished.
I would not put them any lower than that when it comes to actual-canon and not game mechanics canon.
Realistically they'd be a lot stronger than what is shown in-game, plus Zagreus does get help (much like previous successors) to defeat them and when he has no help/buffs it is very difficult.
I do not believe Hecate and Cronus are "related" as if they come from the same parents, but simply they spawned from the same tier-power of entities that just don't have names and I don't really wanna name just in case something else proves me wrong.
The Fates, I put on the same level as Nyx despite how they are her daughters, because not even Nyx is really *fully* able to go against them. The Fates have dominion over nearly everything equal to or below their power.
Demeter could also be placed one above where she is as well, considering that she isn't directly related to any of those Gods and so we don't 100% know where she belongs, or at least I don't. I only put her on-par because of how Zeus calls her his "foster sister" implying they had some sort of kinship despite not being blood-related. Assumedly putting them around the same age-group and so power-levels if that makes sense.
Also no I don't think her husband was as powerful as her, i just put that there so people know it's her and someone unrelated to the family she had persephone with.
I do go by the idea that Aphrodite is stronger than Zeus, as not even Zeus can resist his uh. Lust. To put it lightly, and so she holds more power over the Olympians than they will admit but she doesn't hold dominion over the primordial titans.
I could see her being another direct spawn of Chaos as well, as Chaos does seem to Love Nyx as a parent does, but Aphrodite was born more from other kinds of love and lust and so that didn't come until later when the Primordial Titans actually started getting it on.
And all the ? marks are more for like, ambiguous "relations" because Chaos is an entity that doesn't really *claim* things as his creation. Since kinda *everything* is his? The only person we see he really does "Claim" as a direct relation is Nyx, but if we want to be technical he spawned everything.

Even if you don't watch every episode (which, unless you have to - my condolences to the HC Recap team - I assume most people won't) one way of narrowing things down that I HIGHLY suggest is picking at least one person from each of the mining teams to watch, because the vibes are wildly different and equally hilarious.
Team Blue Bin Bags - Spend the entire mining session roasting each other. Climactic moment involving a faux ad for project management software. Would sell each other to Satan for one cornchip.

Team Red Rashers - At one point Etho says, "I don't understand some things about social dynamics, I tell you," and that's this group's motto! Simultaneously the most competent and the most nervous team, like a bunch of racing greyhounds.

Team Mustard Milk Tots - They get a lot done, which I think is mostly because 90% of their dunking is targeted at Doc. Very 'parents out for drinks' vibes, despite constantly descending into childish bickering.

Team Purple Pickles - Lowest intra-group antagonism, made up for by their choice to run straight towards environmental dangers. The cave diving and sculk could make it a horror movie, but everyone is so unruffleable (excepting X, who is perpetually ruffled) that it wraps back to comedy.

Always be careful when trying to wake up Hypnos. Do not get physically close to him because there is a non 0% chance he will bite you if you try to shake him or touch him to wake him up.
