Hi 😊

I haven't played yet and I don't know anything about this SQ, I just know it's a romance, right?

I'm with a very heavy work and study routine, I'm finishing my graduation, so it's hard to play hphm.

But honestly I'm not a big fan of romance SQs, I think they're very silly and far from what I imagine about my couple, which in this case is Danniel, my MC and Merula.

I hate those flashy things they do at the end, with fairies and a million flowers and hearts. And there's never a kiss 🤡

In my mind this is not how Merula expresses herself romantically, nor does Danniel. My couple likes simpler and more concrete things haha.

And in these SQ, in most of them, we don't spend the most time with our boyfriends and girlfriends, but solving random problems.

I used to get excited, but today I don't get excited anymore.

There are some romance SQs that I'm fond of, like the first date, the first Valentine's Day, the summer festival one, but these new ones are pretty bad.

I like the game's encounters more than the SQs.

The only one I'm waiting for now is the wedding, that's the only one that interests me 🤣

“This is the best date I’ve ever been on, Monty. I’m so glad we came here today together. I wouldn’t have it any other way with anyone else.”

“I’m so glad to be here with you, too. Even if that meant having Murphy announce that you announced that we’re here on a date together. Hahaha!”

“Hahahaha! Is that such a bad thing, though?”

“Being with you? Obviously not. Letting all of Hogwarts know that we’re together? Not bad at all.”

“I’m proud to let them know we’re together. After all, you matter to me more than anything… even cake.”

“Oh, and I know how much you love cake, my love.”

In which Montague and Barnaby attend the Summer Festival, take care of a pest of a party-crasher *ehem* Lockhart *ehem*, spend te rest of the festival dancing and eating, and getting crowned as the Festival Ambassadors.

This was perhaps the fastest I’ve ever worked on a project, given that the Festival Fun TLSQ came out last weekend. For this, I decided to give these boys flower crowns that are different from the ones in the game. I used pink peonies and red roses, with a few wildflowers and leaves in between. I donned Monty in the summer festival outfit I designed for him months ago.

I also realized while making the background that the scene looks like it came fresh from a dating simulator (*cues Dream Daddy music omg stan Craig Cahn and Hugo Vega*) and I have no regrets about it. Hahaha!

Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed this artwork. It’ll be a while (maybe a few weeks) perhaps before I make another artwork, since I’ll be busy with a few important real-life commitments. Hopefully, I’ll be back to making art for Halloween. Enjoy, kids! And reblog! 🥺🥺

Continuing my trend of having Monty photograph these little moment with him and Barnaby, here’s the Festival photo hanging on Monty’s dorm wall. Not gonna lie: this was the kind of photo I wanted for the dorm memorabilia and not just a photo of the festival grounds. But oh well. Can’t have everything, I guess.

Also, if anyone wants bonus music to listen to while looking at this, here it is: “Lifted Up (1985)” by Passion Pit. I felt this was sonically fitting albeit mismatching with the time period. Regardless, it felt right.

They wouldn't fit in my other post, so I decided to rant about them in another one:)

The Quidditch puns were on point, mister.

💔Heartbreaking💔 because Murphy is in my top 3 guys in the game. Also, Charlie Weasley vibes in this phrase.

Speaking of the devil, why does this sound like you feel uncomfortable ? Maybe it's just in my head because I'm bitter that I can't be with him :( (yes, he's my number 1). Curse you, JamCity.

Perhaps I should take advantage of my writing mood and write one shots with Charlie and Murphy, so that I can experience this festival with my top 3 guys *sigh* Wish I wasn't this crazy.

Both the Classic and Rebel Trios are spending their summer at the beach. The girls are clearly having a good time. The boys on the other hand (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

And what's a better way to relax and cool off from the summer heat than to enjoy some cold snacks.

Here’s a couple of images just showing off what the crew is wearing. Veruca ditches the stockings and was smart enough to not wear all black for the summer. Carson's actually wearing sandals despite his fear of having a snail crawl on his feet. I also took the liberty to give both Rowan and Diego summer outfits. And I have to say, Rowan with a pony tail, absolutely fucking cute!! I just realized I forgot the frills on Veruca’s outfit 😫

This was originally going to be a post by itself, but then I saw @kyril-hphm’s challenge. Thought it was interesting, so I decided to take part in it too!
