In which Montague and Barnaby spend a lovely winter dusk together at Hogsmeade before they leave for Monty's London family home the next day.

I have to be proud of myself because this is the handsomest I've ever drawn Barnaby. That side profile should be enough to make Monty swoon hahaha! (Also, did you all notice that little cameo of a little coffee shop run by three men who oddly look like three certain best pals we know without a rat who look like they wear fake mustaches for fun and are probably a polyamorous throuple)

In which Montague and Barnaby try their hand at couple's costumes once again this year. This time, they're dressed as Uma Therman's Poison Ivy and Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn respectively. This was once again birthed from a discussion I had with @scarlet-demiurge about what have Montaby dress up as this Spooky Season.

And that's it for me this month! I'll have to return to the real world again to sort out more of my priorities. Expect less activity from me once again aside from the occasional reblogging of my own work.

Christmas is drawing near and this is the first time I’ve made anything remotely Christmas-y when it comes to my artworks. Regardless, I’m happy with how this came out. I’m happy to be making the Yuletide gay with some good Christmas Montaby content.

Anyway, it’s been a while since I’ve made any artwork and this is my way of slowly returning to making them. One bad thing after another kept happening to me outside of Tumblr and I just needed a break to take care of myself and other things. I’m still not sharing what those were so don’t bother asking.

Since winter season is happening soon in the northern hemisphere, I decided it was time to start making winter-related art. Next month will be Christmas things and I am excited to make some Christmas content.

Hi all!

At long last, I’ve finally created my Hogwarts Mystery Incorporated lineup. At the start of this project, I’ve stated that I planned to end this whole series with a lineup artwork of the pool of characters my MC is closest with and would most likely consistently work with throughout their tenure of solving mysteries at Hogwarts.

In the lineup from left to right, we have Bill Weasley, Tulip Karasu (with Dennis the musical toad), Rowan Khanna, Barnaby Lee, Montague Donohue (my MC), Penny Haywood, Nymphadora Tonks, and Charlie Weasley.

Rounding out the whole series is a few cute creatures we know very well: our bowtruckle (whom I’ve named Barnaby Jr. in-game) and our niffler, Sickleworth, who have their pair artwork under the cut!

Anyway, I hope you all loved this whole series I’ve made! I certainly enjoyed it, too. Hope you all stick around for more artworks I’ll be making in the future. In which Montague and Barnaby attend the Summer Festival, take care of a pest of a party-crasher *ehem* Lockhart *ehem*, spend te rest of the festival dancing and eating, and getting crowned as the Festival Ambassadors.

This was perhaps the fastest I’ve ever worked on a project, given that the Festival Fun TLSQ came out last weekend. For this, I decided to give these boys flower crowns that are different from the ones in the game. I used pink peonies and red roses, with a few wildflowers and leaves in between. I donned Monty in the summer festival outfit I designed for him months ago.

I also realized while making the background that the scene looks like it came fresh from a dating simulator (*cues Dream Daddy music omg stan Craig Cahn and Hugo Vega*) and I have no regrets about it. Hahaha!

Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed this artwork. It’ll be a while (maybe a few weeks) perhaps before I make another artwork, since I’ll be busy with a few important real-life commitments. Hopefully, I’ll be back to making art for Halloween. Enjoy, kids! And reblog! 🥺🥺

Not gonna lie: this was the kind of photo I wanted for the dorm memorabilia and not just a photo of the festival grounds. But oh well. Can’t have everything, I guess.

In which Montague and Barnaby attend the Celestial Ball together, have a great time, and end the night being crowned as the Kings of the Stars  (like prom royalty but for the Celestial Ball? No? Okay.) and memorialize the night with a photo together at the photobooth.

The design of the photo booth was for the ball was inspired by art nouveau designs (specifically this one) and Glinda’s bubble in the Wicked musical. Also, bonus points to your house if you can figure out where I got the idea for the sceptre. Hahahahaha!

Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed my art. This idea was nagging in the back of my head for weeks and I knew I had to make this happen. This was so hard to work on but I’m glad it’s finished. Enjoy, kids!

Since people got into some shenanigans with Artbreeder and their HPHM MCs, I decided to give mine a shot. After several rounds of playing with the in-game designs and crossbreeding them with the faceclaims I have, I came up with… this. 😂

So, here are grown-up versions of my MC, Montague Donohue, and… well, my iteration of his man, Barnaby Lee. And I have to say… well, at least I tried. But perhaps this is a reminder for me to stick to just making illustrations.  😂😂😂

I was toying around with the idea of making a moodboard for my MC’s relationship with Barnaby Lee and I came up with these, basically. Moodboard 1 is all about who they are and they’re favorite things. Moodboard 2 is their romantic dynamic as a couple. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this little bit of content. 💙💚

Okay, so... These two would work well together as friends and as romantic partners. Ayieeee.

These two meet through Barnaby Lee, who wanted his friends to befriend each other. Monty and Jason had an immediate bond over people they hated: Merula Snyde and Professor Snape. Eventually, they become close friends who not only help each other out (like Monty tutoring Jason with the latter's weaker subjects and Jason doing some first-aid on Monty after the latter goes on Curse Vault shenanigans) but also sharing tons of secrets. Monty and Jason even come out to each other and confide in each other about the crushes they harbored for Barnaby and Murphy McNully respectively and it's a soft and tender moment for them uwu. At some point, Monty hooks Jason up with Tulip Karasu and Nymphadora Tonks to help Jason pull the ultimate prank to get Professor Snape to quit (which unfortunately doesn't work). These two boys are just generally loving and affectionate towards each other as friends. Hell, they even cuddle sometimes (and enjoy some "benefits" here and there oop). They're so close that they're basically inseparable. Anyone at Hogwarts would think these two are dating. Speaking of dating, I definitely see romance as a possibility. It would basically be the same as them being friends, except they flirt with each other overtly and make out and have some rendezvous here and there.

Monson is a bond that lasts even beyond adulthood, even when Monty's off traveling the world for his Curse-Breaker career while Jason works at St. Mungo's, and eventually, both of them work at Hogwarts.

Barnamontphyson

Ah yes, the supreme gay poly ship.

In my universe, Montague and Murphy are Ravenclaw dorm-mates while Barnaby and Jason are such in Slytherin. Monty and Barnaby are connected thanks to the former's excursion to the Vault of Fear with Tulip and Bill Weasley. Jason had a huge crush on Murphy and was surprised to learn that Monty and Murphy were dorm-mates let alone friends. They become a big group of friends who like to hangout together.

More than once, Murphy and Barnaby have engaged in wizards' chess, with Murphy taking time to help Barnaby become better at not only the game but also in thinking strategically. Barnaby and Murphy would ramble on about their respective interests (magical creatures and Quidditch) and the other would happily listen and ask questions. Montague and Murphy have known each other since their first-year. Their usual dynamic is an exchange of witty and playful banter that has their other three roommates (Rowan Khanna, Andre Egwu, and Talbott Winger) in stitches (yes, the banter was funny enough for Talbott to snicker). Barnaby and Jason had a good friendship going as dorm-mates and became close friends prior to meeting Montague and Murphy. When Montaby and Jamurphy became a thing, the four would have double-dates at Hogsmeade with countless Butterbeers and a few Honeydukes shopping bags in tow.

As a polyamorous group, however... Oh boy. I'll leave it at this. We can definitely say that Barnaby and Murphy would feel some sort of mutual attraction to the other, which they confess to their respective boyfriends. Jason and Barnaby dated once before. Montague and Murphy had crushes on each other before. I would say the dynamics remain the same as what's stated above. Just four times the romance and four times the NSFW.

Just like Monson, their bonds last beyond adulthood, with one couple frequently updating the other couple about their lives. Montaby would send Jamurphy cute little trinkets from their adventures, while Jamurphy would send cute photos of themselves at Murphy's matches that he commentates for.

It's officially Christmas here where I live so... Happy Holigays from my boys aka. (one of) your favorite gay couples at Hogwarts.
