a quick note from me
Hi!
forgive me for being absent for so long. Life (and technology issues) have gotten the best of me, and this story is sadly a project that got put on the back burner and ignored completely. I apologize for being gone for so long.
I wanted to share that I will not be able to continue my story in my original sims format. I am currently not able to access my game due to computer issues and haven't been able to access it since last fall. In a way, I'm not "coming back," but in a separate way, I am. I intend on following through with the storylines I originally created. I am currently working on written summaries on the stories of each character in the Alnwick Cinematic Universe, and hope to share those over the next few weeks as a way to tie things up.
in the meantime, feel free to ask any questions you have about the future storylines of my characters. They mean a lot to me, and I would love to share what I had planned for them with you.
with love,
cat

The Wedding Ceremony of Her Majesty Queen Victoria and Prince Philip, Duke of Ambrose
“I, Philip Andrew, take thee, Victoria Philippa Helene to my wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse: for richer, for poorer; in sickness and in health; to love and to cherish, till death us do part, according to God's holy law; and thereto I give thee my troth. With this ring, I thee wed.

Maud: Hey, you're Cora, right? Our floor advisor told me you'd be here today
Cora: Yeah. You're... Mary...?
Maud: Maud.
Cora: Right. Maud.
Maud: My sister is roommates with your cousin.
Cora: Oh yeah! So your sister is Pippa?
Maud: Yes!
Cora: Cool. I like your shoes. They're not dress code, though.
Maud: Oh, yeah, I just don't -
Cora: That's a good thing.

The Coronation of Queen Victoria
1. The Procession into the Cathedral. Her Majesty the Queen processes into the Cathedral with her maids of honor. The crowd rises, and stays standing for the ceremony.
2. The Anointing. The Queen’s robes and tiaras are removed as she is seated in the Chair of the Holy Angels. The highest ranking religious official, the Archbishop of Hillesdale, anoints Queen Victoria with the Sacred Oil, which has been used in Coronation ceremonies since Queen Caroline in the 18th century. While she is anointed, the Queen answers a series of questions asked by the Archbishop to complete the Oath of the Monarch:
Archbishop: Will you solemnly promise and swear to govern the Peoples of the Kingdom of Winchester and the other Territories to any of them belonging or pertaining, according to their respective laws and customs?
Queen: I solemnly promise so to do.
Archbishop: Will you to your power cause Law and Justice, in Mercy, to be executed in all your judgements?
Queen: I will.
Archbishop: Will you, Victoria Philippa Helene, solemnly promise to put forth the Crown in all aspects of your life, being, and soul?
Queen: I will.
3. The Crowning. The orchestra and choir begin to play the coronation anthem. The Archbishop of Hillesdale places the St. Edward’s Crown on the head of Queen Victoria, and the crowd chants “God Save the Queen!” three times. The Archbishop declares her to be Victoria the First, by the Grace of God, of the the Kingdom of Winchester Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith.
4. The Presentation of the Peers. Queen Victoria’s brothers, The Duke of Windshire and the Duke of Northumberland, kneel before her and recite the Oath of the Peers:
“I am hereunto presented Queen Victoria, my undoubted Queen: wherefore I have come this day to do your homage and service, I am willing to do the same for the rest of my life."
5. The Procession from the Cathedral. The maids of honor assist Her Majesty in putting on the robes. The Queen processes out of the Cathedral wearing the St. Edward’s Crown and holding the Holy Orb and Scepter of the Kingdom.
The Queen will now travel back to the Palace through the streets of Alnwick with her immediate family before appearing on the balcony of the Palace.

Ludgrove Academy | Prologue
@royalfamilyofgrimalldi @royaldevilliers
Victoria: So anyways, we take them on Sunday.
Minnie: Are you nervous?
Victoria: No, I’m not nervous. Well, not for Maud, maybe a little for Pippa. I think it will be good for them, ya know? Maud is just so rebellious, and poor Pippa is too shy. I think this will help straighten them out, just a bit. I mean, I feel bad for Pippa. I hope she can make friends with some of the Grimalldis. And some of the De Villiers. At least they understand what she's going through, Emilia and Eleanor especially.
Minnie: They’re going to be fine, Vic. I talked to Max and Eliza, they told their girls to look out for Pips and Maud.
Victoria: Maud is the one I’m most worried about.
Minnie: I know, but Ludgrove is a great school. Maud will figure it out, I’m sure of it.
Victoria: I just hope she can manage to follow one rule.

The Funeral of King Thomas III
The royal family of Alnwick has gathered for the funeral of His Majesty King Thomas III. The service took place at the Abbey of St. Colette in Alnwick this morning, and was presided over by the Archbishop of Alnwick.
Her Majesty Queen Victoria led the funerary procession behind her father’s coffin in the streets of Alnwick, followed by her grandmother and mother, Their Royal Highnesses Queen Jacqueline the Queen Dower and Queen Alexandra the Queen Mother, as well as The Dukes of Northumberland and the Duke and Duchess of Windshire. Her fathers siblings and their families were also part of the procession. In a suspected break from protocol, Queen Victoria allowed her aunt, Katherine, Duchess of Clifton, to walk behind her with her immediate family instead of behind a line of guards with the rest of the extended royal family.
The funeral was attended by all members of the royal family as well as foreign royals. This included Her Majesty Queen Eleanor of Elvaria, Her Majesty Queen Alice of Vellia, Her Majesty Queen Margaret of Willow Creek and HRH The Duke of Hemlock, Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Glencoe, the Duke and Duchess of Ashbury, the Duke and Duchess of Worcester, Crown Princess Amelia and the Duke of Clermont, the Duke and Duchess of Brevell, the Duke and Duchess of Belcoast, and the Earl and Countess of Ormonde. Curiously excluded from the service was Queen Victoria’s fiancee, the Viscount Fitzpatrick.
Royal followers were also keen to notice a small note left on top of the flag draping the coffin of the King. Eagle-eyed fans noted that the note is a drawing, presumably made by the King’s young grandchildren, Princess Eloise, Prince William and Princess Ginevra of Windshire.
The country will continue to mourn for two more days, after which coronation preparations for Her Majesty will begin.

Queen Victoria Makes a Statement on the Death of the Duke of Yorkton
Queen Victoria has addressed the Simtinent following the events in Monaca:
“My entire family is deeply saddened by the death of His Royal Highness the Duke of Yorkton. The loss of his life is significant, and the act of violence proceeding his death only adds to the devastation. The thoughts and prayers of my entire family are with the Grimalldis, especially The Duchess and their young daughter.
As a mother, I cannot comprehend the profound sense of loss Her Majesty is experiencing. We grieve with you. From the deepest part of my heart, I am so, so sorry.”
The Palace also released a previously unseen photograph of the Duke with his godson, Prince William of Windshire.
