"Do you want some more wine, my niece?"
A rough, gravelly but familiar voice pulls you out of your lonely thoughts. Knowing whose voice it is, a friendly smile forms on your lips. Without wasting too much time, you offer your glass to your uncle.
Your damn uncle.
"I would be grateful for that, uncle."
It was so... embarrassing to admit you couldn't make eye contact with aemond. the feelings of stupidity and weakness were taking over your body. — Every time you looked at Aemond, you were reminded of the secret, pleasurable moments you'd had with him in the past. — There were countless cold nights that ended up with you in each other's arms.
After your departure from King's Landing to Dragonstone, You never had the madness to forget the moments you had with your prince.
The servant, who was near the table and ready to do his duty, had the bottle of wine brutally snatched away by Aemond's hands. This action didn't impress you, but it left you with a small expression of surprise.
Your father, who was in front of you and talking to your mother, was surprised by his nephew's friendly attitude. He would choose to prevent Aemond from approaching you, but respecting the family's moment of peace, he decided not to prevent such an act.
Aemond, with his heavy steps, approaches you and slowly pours the scarlet drink into his glass. — The way you looked at the older man's hands, which were gripping the bottle tightly, was visible to anyone. — In your mind, blatantly, you wanted that grip on your waist.
"Es jūtu tavu izmisuma smaku, mana brāļameita." (I can smell your desperation my niece.) — He whispers discreetly to you, putting an arm around the chair. — "Tu izskaties tik jūtīga." (You look so sensitive.) — The undertone of malice was clearly visible in his whisper.
The feeling of worry began to take over your body for fear that someone present at that table would hear such words - And even more your father - It would be a real chaos. - But the other side of you, which was surprising you at the moment, wanted to answer the older in a dirty way.
Aemond wanted to play, and you knew very well what that game was like.
"Tā es jūtos ap tavu klātbūtni, mans dārgais onkul." (This is how i feel around your presence, my dear uncle.) — You replied in a low tone of voice. — "Acīmredzot tu atpazīsti mana ķermeņa darbības kā agrāk." (Apparently you recognize my body's actions as before.)
You ended up doing something he's wanted so badly since he sat next to you at that table: a provocation from you.
After your intriguing reply, a long, hot sigh reached your ear followed by a short laugh with a hint of depth — That made your young body shudder inside. — Worried, your eyes swept everyone at the table hoping no one was witnessing the scene.
Your heart was beating faster than normal. — Even without saying anything, Aemond had enormous power in your body and he loves to use it against you
“Tas ir tas, ko mēs šovakar redzēsim." (That's what we're going to see tonight.) — Finishing his action as planned, Aemond placed the bottle of wine in the servant's hands and returned to his seat, acting normally.
Unlike you who was transfixed by what you just heard. How the hell did he have the audacity to do that? And in the middle of dinner.
Aemond knew the power he had in you and he liked to use that fact against you
You urgently needed to calm down and try to distract yourself with something, but it was technically impossible. — Remembering the wine that was forgotten in such a short time, you take a big, satisfied sip. The bitter taste with a slight sweetness invades your palate. — It was your favorite wine from King's Landing. The famous bitter grapes that had a sweet and passionate side.
On the bright side and less modest, with the help of the alcoholic substance you managed to look into Aemond's hard face. Daring and quite intimidating, you have mentally defined the exchange of glances
Without realizing what was happening, you are surprised by the servant putting a big pig in front of Aemond. — Pigs and Aemond in the same line? It's an unpleasant story to tell.
Trying to ignore the dead pig in front of him, Aemond decides to quickly break eye contact and follows his gaze forward, as if he was looking at someone else. — His expression was one of anger. It was as if Aemond was ready to end a life that was probably on the table but who was it?
With a certain sense of curiosity, you follow your prince's gaze. And your face stops when you find out who the victim was.
Lucerys.
Your half-brother, who at that moment was trying to contain his laughter, was not intimidated by his uncle's dark gaze. — No one would need to explain the reasonable reason for the muffled laughter.
Luke was the reason for Aemond's loss of an eye.
As the older sister, you tried to scold your brother, but the action was a total failure — Resulting in Luke reinforcing his laughter.
Soon anger and disgust were seen on Aemond's face. He would not allow his nephew to continue to dishonor him after all this time.
Not afraid to interrupt the conversations and the music, Aemond slams the wooden table hard, drawing everyone's attention. — Lucerys, who was laughing seconds ago, feels the feeling of nervousness at Aemond's action and shuts up completely.
"Final tribute." — He starts by pointing his cup in a straight direction.
Everyone at the table was looking at the Targaryen, including you. Some thought it would just be a normal tribute, perhaps thanking you for the family moment or Jace's wedding — But you, by far, didn't have that thought in mind. — Not with the scene that you witnessed seconds ago.
"For the endearing moments i've had with my niece in the past." — He looked at you. — "I hope we can remember each of them during your passage." — A big and heavy sigh came out of the prince. — "Together."
Aemond directs his glass towards you as he finishes. You weren't prepared to hear this, this tribute to you doesn't cross your mind. He surprised you once more that night.
Of course you could feel your parents' eyes on you, but that didn't matter at the moment. — You were thinking of the sign your prince gave you discreetly.
Apparently Aemond's tribute wasn't over as he was still standing with the glass.
"To the health of my nephews: Jace, Luke and Joffrey." — He pronounced, pointing the glass with the warm liquid to the boys mentioned. — "Each one of them handsome, wise… — He paused — … strong."
An expression of disapproval and confusion came over your face along with a feeling of anguish washed over you.
Jace, who was at Helaena's side, showed an aspect of anger and fury at his uncle's words. You see your brother clenching his fists trying to alleviate his hatred.
"Aemond". — Taking a deep breath, you try to stop the targaryen from continuing.
"Come." — He remains fearless. — "Let's empty our cups for these three..." — Looking at the boys, Aemond pauses to observe their reactions. — "Strong boys."
His profound words surprised everyone who was present in that dark and rustic room, leaving his family angry, embarrassed and a little disappointed.
"I dare you to say that again." — The brave and fearless voice of Jacaerys's exclaimed and well heard by everyone. You were ready to get out of your chair and stop something worse from happening to them. Along with your mother prepared to do the same.
"Why? 'twas only a compliment." — Aemond walked to his nephew with a mocking smile, continuing with his damn words and not wanting to be interrupted. — "Do you not think yourself strong?"
Jacaerys punches his uncle in the face, enough for the eldest to shut up and not continue to defame him and his brothers.
"Jace!" — You and your mother scream together.
Everyone gets up quickly from the table and tries to defuse the situation. — Lucerys, while trying to get close to his brother, is brutally attacked by Aegon, pinning the younger to the table and preventing him from making any move.
Aemond, after receiving the punch, pushes his nephew hard against the cold and hard floor. — Due to the desperate situation, the guards decide to intervene. Aegon, taking advantage of their presence, decides to hand over Luceys to them.
Disturbed by the scene you were witnessing with your mother. The only thing you didn't want to see was your lover and your brother fighting to the death.
After quickly getting up from the ground, Jacaerys's held tightly by the guards, preventing him from trying to commit another act of aggression against Aemond. — The oldest Velaryon let out heavy gasps and clenched his teeth so tightly that he could break them at any moment.
Alicent's the first to yell at her son, trying to get his attention, and then grabs his arm in reproach. — Unfortunately, you can't hear Alicent's words, but you can hear Aemond's rude reply.
"I was merely expressing how proud i'm of my family, mother." — Aemond expressed fearlessly to his mother. — "Though it seems my nephews aren't quite as proud of theirs." — He frees his arm from his mother's.
He concludes by speaking in front of the nephews held by the guards. The Velaryon boys did not admit such a phrase and tried to get out of the arms of the royal guards in every way.
Realizing that you were witnessing the whole scene up close, Aemond looked at you affectionately, as if to say that those words were not for you. — But those words hurt for you.
"Wait!" — Your father went to your brothers. Jace managed to free himself, but soon stopped when he saw his stepfather's body approaching. Daemon glanced at Jacaerys, who stepped back and stood beside his brother. — You reached the oldest velaryon and put your hands on his face, trying to calm him down.
"Go to your quarters. All of you do." — Your mother ordered seriously, fearing that new situations would happen. — "Now." — She reinforced.
You didn't want to leave the room and you were interested in what your father would do or say. Adding a step forward, you realize that your father was just looking at Aemond, but in a mocking way. — He wouldn't do something so bad against the young man then, not now.
Your mother's voice calling you, affectionately, made you pay no more attention to Targaryens older than you. She puts her hands on your face and orders you to your quarters.
Obeying your mother, you say goodbye to her leaving a kiss on her cheek and murmur a simple "good night". — Heading towards the exit, you can feel Aemond's steady gaze on your body and a flush rises in your young and beautiful face.
Leaving the great room, you weren't planning on going to your room, but to someone else's. It was a bad idea, but you had to do it urgently. You were lucky your room was next to Aemond's, but you still had to hide behind a pillar for fear of being found.
Just seconds later, rough and fast footsteps echoed down that corridor dimly lit by candles. Tilting your head a little, you see Aemond, with an unhappy face, heading towards his room, unprotected by the guards. — Before Aemond decides to lock the big doors to his room, you start a walk inside that place. Trying as hard not to get caught by him.
"I don't think you should be here, princess." — Without turning around, Aemond stated. — Not that you made any noise or called attention to let him know of your genuine presence in that room, but he knew you would find him.
Aemond made it clear that this was what he wanted.
It was like the tribute he paid to you, when he mentioned that he hopes the two of you will remember the times you had together in the past. — Most of your dates, during the past, were in his room and sometimes yours.
And apparently nothing has changed.
"Well, i just wanted to clear up a doubt with my uncle that i haven't seen in a long time and that ended up with such a special dinner." — You argue against the eldest, who decides to turn to you.
Aemond's mouth curved into a small smile, silently waiting for words from you. Your eyes began to look at his thin lips in a slightly indecent way. Realizing, Aemond leans his head back laughing. Trying to stay focused, you stare at Aemond's face reflected in the moon's natural glow.
"I wish... and i command to know if that little moment of your greeting with the bitter glass of wine, was just a way of trying to remember and mention our enchanting moments and pure pleasure, my dear uncle." — Your features clearly showed all feelings except fear for the prince that everyone feared.
"I wouldn't be glad that someone had the incompetence to want to affront me and have the courage to stupidly extract the truth about my little sign from my bitter wine." — Aemond, with a show of delight and excitement, steps forward from you — "But, i would hardly be unhappy if i knew that person was you, my favorite little niece."
"You're my curse, Aemond." — A knot formed in your throat as he approached your trembling body. Your uncle left you completely breathless. — "But it's a curse i want in my life forever."
"And next time, it won't just be a miserable glass of wine that will try to confirm to everyone our union and love, but my annunciation in front of everyone." — Placing his cold, rough hands around your face, he finishes what he's wanted to say for a long time. — "And no one will stop or interrupt our future history."
Directing his forehead to your, he ends with a passionate kiss. A kiss he's wanted to give you for a long time.

Wine settles the nerves | Aegon II Targaryen x implied Strong!Reader
A/N: As I am not fluent in Valyrian, please excuse any mistakes in the translations etc, thank you !
Tumblr media
“Ah six years since we’ve last seen our blood my dear brother.” You sigh as you walk along side the quiet dark haired lad.
“Cheerful are you ?” Jace inquires with a slight smirk forming. “Oh Jace ! Please enlighten me !” You laugh, pulling at your elder brothers arm. “If you had it your way we would’ve never of left Dragonstone, y/n.”
“Lyka” (Quiet) You tease, giving him a playful punch to the shoulder. “What does that word mean again ?” Jace wonders, raising a brow. You simply scoff before turning to run off only to be chased by him. “It’s not my fault you somehow manage to be skilled speaking our mother tongue !”
Oh how the roar of your laughter could’ve been heard throughout the seven kingdoms.
Time Skip…
You were late. You can recall so vividly how your mother, the realm’s delight softly scolding you on any occasion for never arriving on time while your father figure Daemon sat back surprisingly for once holding back his laugh.
But now here you were practically running to the throne room with your small heels clicking against the ground and your black and red dress slightly swooshing away. The same exact dress your mother gave you some time ago, that she once wore years ago where she had slaughtered some boar.
But you knew how important this was.
Your younger brother Lukes right to Driftmark was being questioned and you would not just stand aside and not let your support for him be unknown.
As you slyly snuck by your cousins Beala and Rhaena you hear
“Princess Rhaenyra, you may now speak for your son Lucerys Velaryion “ Spoke the sneaky hand of the king.
“Where have you been ?” Jace asks, tilting his head. Your mother spared you a glance before walking up front to address everyone. It was only truly now in the moment you could take in the scene before you. You swore to keep your head low out of respect yet your curious eyes betrayed you as you scan right over to the gleaming light that was green.
It had only been half a decade since you last seen your aunt and uncles yet it felt like a century. Years back before Vhagar’s now rider had lost his eye, you had gotten along quite well with the young boy and his older sister.
However the same could not of been said for Aegon. He always had his nose stuck in a cup drinking and it bored you nonetheless. You can recall multiple occasions where you repeatingly stole this cup and then ran round the yard forcing him to chase you while he slightly struggled due to the wine intake.
As the young prince seemed so desperate for the precious cup you had made a joke how he should have the blacksmiths make him the finest jewellery out of the cup so the chances of it being stolen again was unlikely.
The last time you had seen Aegon before returning to Dragonstone, he placed a ring on a string and practically flung it at you and called it a day. Yet when you actually had the chance to study the “necklace” you couldn’t help but notice the striking resemblance its appearance had to the cup he had chased you for.
“Well ?” Jace says, impatiently waiting for your response. Your eyes were practicing glued to the sight of the greens. They all stood tall, especially Aemond who now wore a patch over his lost eye yet your eyes couldn’t move away from his older brother who’s hair was now cut and lacked the vibrant curls they once had. He seemed to have not noticed your stare as he himself stared off almost as if he was deprived whether it be sleep or alcohol or both you were unsure.
You turn to your brother who seemed to be the only one noticing your longing gaze yet made no comment about it.
“I was just-
Just then the booming noise of the doors opening rang through the room and a guard called out the titlements of your grandsire. At the sudden loud noise you gasp, instantly hiding behind the rogue prince like a small child. Daemon takes notice of this and sends his kind smile your way.
You couldn’t help but admire not only your grandsire but also your king as even at his weakness still came to defend not only Lucerys but you and your mother as well.
As usual at any gathering suddenly events took a turn and Daemon killed Vaemond Velaryon in front of you all. You cower back into your mothers arms as she drapes her arm protectively over you knowing you couldn’t bare the gruesome sight.
You were late. Again.
The king ordered for a family dinner where everyone where to be present and yet suddenly the dreaded thought dawned on you that you would see everyone again. You were definitely in need of a confidence boost. As you stood in the dark corridor you shakingly run your hands continuously over your dress your eye catches a serving girl with cups of wine on her plate. “Excuse me !” You call to the serving girl.
“Where is y/n ?” Viserys croaked, slowly tilting his head towards Rhaenyra. Although the music continued, everyone stopped to raise their head to notice the empty seat next to Baela. “Rhaenyra.” Alicent spoke softly. “Where is she ?” She inquires.
The others dip back to their fallen conversations but Rhaenyra breaths stop for a brief moment. She doesn’t know where you exactly are and when she shares a glance with Daemon she learns that he doesn’t know either.
“My my everyone’s already here !”
You bow respectfully while trying not to trip before your king and then place a gentle kiss on your grandsire cheek and make your way to your empty seat. Of course completely missing the horrified look on the queens face and the confusion on your poor mothers. Everyone had already began drinking and could tell you started before them all. Luke couldn’t help but laugh as you simply sat down and smiled while being completely dazed. “y/n ? Are you alright ?” Baela asked, despite knowing the answer.
“Yes.” You chirped. “Indeed I am, cousin.” You smile, patting the Velaryon girls hand.
Your eyes regretfully turn to face in front of you to see Daemon like Luke, finding amusement in your state while your mother gives you that look that she gives in her eyes to say we’ll talk later.
Avoiding her stare, you turn to face Luke to indulge in conversation while not even noticing the silver head at the opposite end of the table staring your way. Soon, out of the corner of your eye you see Aegon speaking to your brother and you can’t help but wonder. If Aegon had no problem engaging in simple conversation with the others than what had set you apart from the rest ?
As soon as Jace got up to dance with Helaena, you unsteadily slipped out of your chair and stole Jaces seat, taking the spot next to the elder prince.
“Uncle ?” You whisper, all of a sudden becoming timid. It was as if the wine was instantly drained from your system.
“You have grown, niece.” He spoke rather coldly, reaching for his cup.
“Can’t you at least spare me a glance ?” You say, snatching the cup from him.
Aegon huffs as he sunk down into his chair , slowly tilting his head to you. His tired eyes meet yours and yet suddenly it feels too intimate.
You raise a brow as suddenly his eyes widen and he sits up straighter in his chair and his just then his hand reaches for your neck.
“You’re wearing it.” He mutters in disbelief.
“What ?” You question, looking down to see his fingers clutching the ring attached to your necklace. You can practically feel the queen’s eyes burning into you like a dragons breath yet you’re currently struggling to meet Aegon’s eyes let alone his mothers.
“Aegon I-
Instantly there’s a loud bang.
Your eyes momentarily meets that of the rider of the largest dragon and there he stood with a cup in his hand.
“Final tribute.” He confidently spoke.
“To the health of my nephews.”
You can’t help but be slightly relieved that Aemond completely disregarded your presence. You knew what was to come so to avoid the madness you stood up quietly leaving behind you could hear Jace daring Aemond to repeat himself. No more did you want to hear.
Time Skip…
After taking some needed fresh air, you decided that it was time to head back inside and face your mother as you could already imagine what she would say.
No more dragon riding !
You knew that you were suppose to be accompanied by a guard while outside yet since the wine was now drained from your system you could no longer feel the urge to hold a conversation. You let out a tiresome sigh and as you turn you gasp as suddenly a hand grabs your wrist. You calm as you notice it was only the silver head prince himself.
“Skorion jaelagon a ?” (What you want ?) You sigh, trying to pull away.
“Dohaeriakson raqan.” (I like to be served) He whispered, pulling you closer by the waist. “Struggled to find a servant girl did you, my prince ?” You wonder, tilting your head slightly.
“Earlier you were practically begging for my attention, now here you are acting like it’s the other way around.”
“That is due to the fact I am no longer persuaded by wine.”
“I saw the way you looked at me in the throne room, y/n.” He says, hiding in your neck before sneakingly placing a kiss under your jaw. Your eyes can’t help but widen at his words. You were sure that he hadn’t of seen you yet you clearly stood mistaken.
“You think that strong boy was the only one who caught that look ?” You can practically feel his smirk pressed against your skin. “Don’t call him that.” You groan, rolling your eyes at the typical comment.
“Do you feel that ?” He whispers, dragging your hand down low. Despite him removing his hand, yours lingers for a few more seconds. “That is for no serving girl.” He proudly claims. “How honoured I am.” You laugh.
“You’ve really kept it after all this time ?” He asks with an almost pleading look evident in his eyes as he stares down at your necklace. “Of course.” You mutter, slightly playing with the string.
Slowly but surely you find yourself moving closer, craving to be in his presence just like before and maybe to even-
“What’s going on here ?”
You turn round, horrified to see the sight of your own mother standing there with a guard behind her. “M-mother I-“ You stutter, not able to comprehend what was happening. “y/n we are to be heading back to Dragonstone. We cannot waste another moment here.” Rhaenyra states, glaring at her half brother.
“Please escort the princess back to her brothers.” Rhaenyra ordered the guard. Your head hangs low as you head back with the guard, tears already welling up in your eyes. Rhaenyra steps closer to the younger Targaryen. “Whatever happened here, ends now.” She promises.
“We’ll see about that.” Aegon smirks.
No more dragon riding !

I don’t know why I want this so bad but here we go!
So I had an idea for a reader x Aemond where reader is one of Rhaenrya’s kids and they have been secretly seeing each other since they know their siblings would make fun of both of them if they knew.
Anyway Aemond takes reader with him when he goes to claim Vhagar and she’s a nervous wreck the whole time and if she’s nervous about just sneaking out you can imagine how she’d be when the first flight happens and she’s with Aemond when the fight breaks out between all the kids. During the questioning she sides with Aemond without a second thought and after all the fighting she chooses to go with Aemond back to Kingslanding and eventually get married. Then like the show a few years pass and we have the day of the trial and dinner and she tries to stop Aemond from starting the fight and then just fluff.
I hope this all made sense I got excited and went on a tangent 🤣 whether you take this request or not just know you’re an amazing writer and I can’t wait to see what else you write! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Always Meant to be Together || Aemond Targaryen x reader
Tumblr media
A/N: so I did divert a bit from the request but as usual the overall premise is the same, hope u enjoy xx
Summary: Y/N is Rhaenyra’s first born daughter, Aemond’s closest friend, the one who was by his side during the incident and went against her own family to protect him. But after six years of being apart, has their relationship changed or could they be again, what they once were?
Warnings: angst, fluff, Targaryen incest
The true born Targaryen children of queen Alicent and the supposed bastards of princess Rhaenyra were never meant to get along, despite being of the same blood, they could never be of the same side. But as fate has it, rules always have their exceptions.
-
“Behold, The Pink Dread” the three boys laughed in unison as they presented the pig to the younger prince.
A cruel joke, this was, making the poor boy run out of the dragonpit.
“Very mature of you, Aegon” Y/N scolded him as she had just entered “And you two, is this what mother has taught you?”
“It was a mere jest, sister; why are you so concerned?” Jace giggled as he winked at the other boys, making them join in with laughter.
Y/N scoffed at his insinuation and went to follow after Aemond.
“Don’t listen to these fools, I know you’ll get a dragon very soon” the young girl said as she cautiously approached the prince.
“I don’t need your pity” he mumbled in annoyance, without looking at her.
“I’m not pitying you, I’m simply stating the truth” Y/N said, now with full confidence.
Aemond finally stopped in his tracks and turned to look at her “You truly believe so?” he asked, hints of hope in his voice.
“Of course! You’re a Targaryen prince after all” she smiled “And besides I believe you’re much braver than Aegon and my brothers” Y/N scrunched her nose, as they both giggled.
From that day, the two kids became quite inseparable, much to the displeasure of their mothers, they would often sneak out and spend time together.
-
It was way past her bedtime, yet sleep wouldn’t come upon Y/N, she was squeezing her eyes shut, tossing and turning in her bed, but to no avail. The images of Laena’s funeral from earlier that day still haunted her mind. Y/N didn’t know her aunt very well yet she couldn’t help but feel consumed by sorrow. Soon however, her eyelids at last grew heavy as she drifted into a dreamless slumber.
“Y/N, wake up” a hasty whisper suddenly brought her back. But as the girl was about to let out a startled scream, a cold palm was placed on top of her lips to shush her. “Hey, it’s me, it’s me, Aemond”
“Aemond?! What are you doing here”
“Shhh, come, follow me” he gestured towards the door.
“What?! Have you gone mad?! It’s the middle of the night!” the young girl whisper-yelled, confusion and exhaustion washed over her face.
“Please, just trust me, I need you”
Y/N sighed as she slowly got up, there was something about this violet gaze of his, when he was looking directly at her, that always managed to make her unable to refuse his pleas.
It was a clear night, the stars were glistening like thousands of diamonds as the chilling breeze was piercing through Y/N’s thin robe that she had loosely tied over her silk nightgown.
“Aemond, where are we going? I’m freezing”
“We’re almost there” the boy tried to reassure her.
The two kids continued their walk through the seemingly endless field and as Y/N was starting to consider running back inside her warm chambers, they were met with the magnificent silhouette of no other than Vhagar, the largest dragon alive, her late aunt’s dragon. And though asleep, the mere proximity to him made the little girl shiver with fear.
“We really shouldn’t be here; let’s go back to the castle” she ushered the young prince, her words, however were left unheard as he slowly approached the beast, enamored by its presence.
“Aemond, don’t!” she let out a scared squeal as Vhagar began to wake up.
“You said I was going to get a dragon and this is what I intend on doing” he smirked at her.
“This is not what I meant Aemond, please”
But the boy did not listen and by the time Y/N had comprehended the situation, he had already somehow managed to mount the dragon.
“Come” he finally spoke, reaching his hand down to her.
“No! There’s no way I’m doing this! And you shouldn’t be either. Please come down” she pleaded, her voice full of worry.
“Fine, suit yourself” Aemond mumbled as he commanded Vhagar to fly.
Y/N stood there, filled with dread as she watched the enormous beast take off with her best friend. Those few minutes of their flight were the most agonizing moments she had endured, they felt like an eternity and she couldn’t help but imagine the worst possible outcomes.
The poor girl almost burst into tears when she saw Vhagar landing right beside her with Aemond unharmed. The boy was beaming with pride and excitement as he had finally gotten his so deeply desired dragon.
“You fool” she wept with relief as she leapt to embrace him.
Their happiness however was short lived as on their way back they were met with enraged faces of Y/N’s two younger brothers and her cousins.
“There he is! Sister, what are you doing with this thief?” Jace spat at her, a mixture of disgust and disbelief lingering in his voice.
“He stole my mother’s dragon, she was mine to claim!” Rhaena screamed through tears as she charged towards Aemond.
It wasn’t long before a vicious fight broke out between the children.
“Jacaerys, Lucerys stop! Aemond, don’t!” Y/N was screaming at them trying to stop the fight, but to no avail. Suddenly a blood curdling scream of agony pierced through the halls. Before she could realize what had happened, Y/N saw the other kids run out. Then she saw, she saw him, her Aemond, laying on the ground, with arm on his left eye, waterfalls of blood pouring between his pale fingers.
Y/N let out a frightened scream as she rushed to him, gently moving his head to her lap.
“Aemond, Aemond, can you hear me? Listen, it’s all going to be alright, I promise” she choked on her tears, weaving her fingertips through his messy silver locks.
-
The following moments went in a blur, next thing she knew, she was standing behind her mother as the kids were throwing accusations at each other in front of the king. Alicent was inconsolable, going from caressing her wounded son to screaming at Rhaenyra and her children, it was like hell broke loose.
“Silence” Viserys at last stood up, making the whole room grow quiet. “Now, may I hear what exactly happened. Y/N, you were the one with Aemond when the guards found you, I want you to tell me the whole truth” he sent a stern look towards his granddaughter.
The little girl slowly stepped out from behind her mother’s skirts. Her face was pale as a ghost, dried up tears covering her cheeks, stains of the prince’s blood still fresh on her white nightgown. Everyone was now looking directly at Y/N, Rhaenyra’s eyes filled with concern, the two frightened boys clutching at her hands, Alicent hardly containing her rage, it almost felt like time had stopped. Then her eyes caught the gaze of Aemond’s remaining one, making her own well up at the sight.
“It was Jace and Lucerys, my brothers. They started it along with my cousins” the girl spat through tears, pointing at the kids “Aemond didn’t say anything to provoke them, they’re lying”
“Liar, she’s a liar” Jace started screaming at his sister “Mother, this is not true, he did call us bastards”
Rhaenyra looked with utter disbelief at her daughter’s face, but before she was able to say anything, Alicent had gotten up, grabbing a dagger.
“What more proof do you need?” she cried, running towards Luke with the weapon in her hand, but was quickly caught by Rhaenyra who leapt in front of her son.
Eventually the fight was put to an end and all were ordered back to their chambers.
Y/N was now sitting on her bed clutching at her blankets trying to erase her memories of the horrendous ordeal that had occurred. The girl was so consumed by those thoughts that she had just noticed that her mother had entered the room. She had an unreadable expression as she slowly approached the bed, holding her bandaged arm.
“How could you? How could you go against your own brothers in front of the king?” she asked, her voice full of disappointment.
“It was their fault. Luke took Aemond’s eye” Y/N sniffed trying not to burst into tears again.
Rhaenyra grabbed at her daughter’s chin, making her meet her gaze. “You siding with that boy almost cost your brother his eye” she hissed “We are a family. Your brothers are your family. Never forget this” she then stood up and left without another word.
-
Y/N had spent the following six years at Dragonstone after her mother’s marriage to Daemon. The girl couldn’t deny that she had rather enjoyed the peace of those years however she so deeply longed to go back to the capital.
-
Her prayers were at last answered as she finally stepped foot in her homelands. Y/N was now a woman grown yet she could still vividly recall her time spent on the castle grounds throughout her childhood. The princess was eagerly following behind her younger brothers as they explored the courtyard that they once used to play in.
However, the sounds of clashing steel immediately had caught the attention of the siblings as they quickly went to follow it.
Y/N couldn’t believe her eyes. It couldn’t have been him. But it was, it was him. Her prince, her Aemond. There was something about the way he was so mercilessly fighting against ser Criston that made her feel intimidated, a dangerous swordsman he had become.
“Nephews, have you come to train?” he at last spoke, pointing his sword at the two boys, no emotion in his words.
“Bōsa jēda daor ūndegon, kēpus” (long time no see, uncle) Y/N smiled confidently as she finally walked out from her spot behind the gate.
Her words made Aemond drop his sword in disbelief and he slowly approached her. There were now mere inches between them as she looked up meeting his gaze. He had changed, yet still possessing this otherworldly beauty she had grown to admire. His face was now chiseled as if carved by the hands of the gods, his silver locks, much longer, reaching the middle of his back and the deep scar still visible under the black leather eyepatch that was covering his left eye, a reminder of the vicious incident. The prince took his time slowly examining her features as if trying to confirm it was really her. He gently picked a lock of her hair, slowly twirling it between his fingers, a devious smirk now playing on his lips. Aemond then suddenly turned around and headed back without saying a word.
-
The king had called for a small feast in honor of his family as they were at last together. Y/N could hardly recognize her grandfather, the magnificent man she remembered from her childhood was now deteriorating before her, half of his stern face, covered by a gold mask, perhaps concealing the damage. He was leaning in his chair, unable to sit properly yet his presence was just as powerful as it once was.
The tension in the room was so present, almost as if you could cut through it with a sword. Y/N’s gaze traveled across the familiar faces around the table, they were her family yet they felt so distant. Then her eyes fell on Aemond, her childhood best friend. She couldn’t catch any hint of emotions in his eye, he was simply sitting with a blank expression, occasionally sipping from his wine. Their last encounter had left the young princess bewildered as he had left without speaking a single word to her. ‘What an arrogant prick has he become’ she thought to herself, angrily bringing the wine cup to her lips.
“Care for a dance, dear niece” she was suddenly brought back from her thoughts by Aegon who was now standing behind her. Seeing that his wife was dancing with Jace, Y/N reluctantly took the older prince’s hand and followed him across the hall.
The girl closed her eyes as she swayed, trying to forget who her partner was as she indulged in the music. A few moments later however, their dance was interrupted by a tap on Aegon’s shoulder and when she looked up before her was standing no other than Aemond, her Aemond. There was a wild look lingering in his eye, could that have been jealousy? She wondered for a second before moving towards his hands, continuing the dance. What she didn’t know however was that throughout her time with Aegon, the one eyed prince hadn’t left her from his sight, feelings he thought he had long forgotten, rushing back.
They didn’t speak the entire time yet they kept their eyes locked at each other’s and for a second Y/N could swear that she had caught a glimpse of the Aemond she remembered and so deeply cared for.
“I missed you” she whispered, almost to herself. His stern expression softened, serving as a proof that he had heard her. This intimate moment however was cut short as the king was being escorted back to his chambers and before she knew it, they were again sitting at the table. Much to her mother and brothers’ displeasure, Y/N was now seated beside Aemond.
Despite Viserys’ departure the feast continued, servants bringing dish after dish.
Luke couldn’t help but let out a chuckle as a large roasted pig was placed in front of his uncle, earning him a warning look from his sister. Y/N then grabbed at Aemond’s hand trying to calm him down but alas, the prince stood up giving a toast to his ‘strong’ nephews. It didn’t take long for a quarrel to erupt, after his insinuations, with Jace punching the prince across his face but before the fight could further escalate, Y/N quickly leapt between her brother and uncle.
“Aemond, don’t, please,that’s enough”
Just as she could never refuse anything to him, so couldn’t he, the prince scoffed and headed out.
Y/N tried to follow after him but was stopped by her mother. “Don’t even consider it” Rhaenyra pulled at her arm “Don’t betray your family once again”
-
It must’ve been past midnight yet sleep wouldn’t come upon Y/N, so instead of forcing it, the young maiden decided to take a stroll across the castle hallways.
Suddenly a strong arm was wrapped around her mouth, pushing her against the nearest wall.
“I missed you too, dear niece” a deep voice whispered in her ear. The only light coming from the moon, shining through the nearby window, illuminating the so familiar smirk spread across the man’s face.
“Aemond?!” the girl exhaled, looking closer at the handsome face of her ‘attacker’. “What’s wrong with you?”
“You never came to visit me after the incident, never even said goodbye” he hissed, hints of sadness in his voice.
“Oh Aemond, you have no idea how hard I tried to, but mother wouldn’t let me, she put guards in front of my chambers” Y/N softened her features, moving her hand to his cheek.
“Don’t go back to Dragonstone, stay” he placed his hand on top of hers.
“Why would I, am I not a bastard too, like my brothers?” she suddenly snapped, reminding him of the prior events.
“Ohh, the fuck with this” he grunted, smashing his lips on top of hers. This action caught Y/N completely by surprise yet it didn’t take long for her to eagerly kiss him back, tangling her fingers in his soft silver locks. This was her Aemond she was kissing, the young boy she had unknowingly fallen for way back when they were kids.
“We were always meant to be together, Y/N” he smirked as they pulled away from the kiss.
-
“Mother, I won’t go back to Dragonstone” she had gone to the godswood to announce her decision to Rhaenyra.
“What is that supposed to mean?”
“I don’t want to go, I want to stay here” Y/N repeated, trying not to show the trembling in her voice.
“You, you are responsible for this, aren’t you?” Rhaenyra pointed at Aemond who had just approached them. “Haven’t you done enough harm to her!?”
“I simply wish to ask for your daughter’s hand in marriage, princess, to strengthen our houses” his infamous smirk, still lingering.
“What makes you think I’ll sacrifice my only daughter to you?” She hissed through gritted teeth.
“Mother, you tried to separate us years ago yet the gods once again brought us together, we were meant to be together” Y/N repeated Aemond’s words from the prior night.
“If that’s your decision, then so be it, I’ll give you my blessing, but remember, once you’ve chosen which side you’re on, there is no going back” Rhaenyra sighed as she left the young couple.
Those words pierced at Y/N’s heart, but she knew she had made the right decision, choosing to marry the one she loved and she was determined to go against anything that would try to separate them.

I would like to dedicate this episode to everyone who said Daemon didn't love his brother, his family or only cared for the crown, when from the beginning he has been fighting to protect his House and Viserys from the people using him. I wish you all a very good night.

Being Daemon's Daughter Would Include (Part III)
Tumblr media
a/n: hi hi hi! once again, I'm so in my feels and absolutely blown away by all the love on this series! I definitely plan to continue this well into the reader's adulthood, I'm just enjoying the baby/pregnancy stuff so much! I got a little carried away again, so you get lots of daemon/wife goodness in this one, too! lmk if you wanna be added to the taglist for future parts!
Part I / Part II
summary: Daemon has always gone to any lengths to protect you, even before you were born. And oh, what gifts he will bestow...
cw: I actually don't think there are any warnings for this one! Daemon threatens violence?? other than that, it's just fluff. inspired by the scene in ep8.
~~~~~~~
A Dragon's Custom
-In the very heart of Dragonmont, amidst sulfur and brimstone, Daemon Targaryen felt a true hero as he retrieved the dragon egg that would soon rest in his child's cradle.
-The day of your birth drawing ever nearer, your mother's belly greatly swelled. Growing larger by the day, he had teased, a comment which had been received by his lady wife with both a chuckle and a threat of violence upon his person. He expected no less from such a woman, his eyes sparkling as he knelt before her, pressing his forehead against her stomach as he whispered to you.
-"You must be brave, little one. I will soon need you to defend me from your mother's temper."
-His words earned him what was, admittedly, a rather playful slap to the back of the head. "You truly are a scoundrel, dear husband," she sighed, weaving her fingers through his silver hair.
-He merely smiled as he kissed her belly, her hands, her wrists, finally rising to meet her lips. "Your scoundrel, my love."
-She melted in the arms of her dragon, who murmured sweet nothings into her hair as he slowly ran his fingers up and down her spine, soothing her aches with his warm touch. She all but whined when he pulled away with a gentle farewell.
-"Must you go?"
-"Aye," he mumbled, lips against hers in one final kiss, "but I promise you'll be happier for it."
-"I disagree. I'd much prefer you by my side."
-"As would I, my love, but our child deserves a gift only I can bestow, and I daren't wait any longer to retrieve it." Her brows furrowed at his words, uncertain of their meaning as he caressed her belly with the back of his hand. "The child of the Rogue Prince deserves a dragon egg, do they not?"
-Your mother's eyes filled with tears. She was, of course, familiar with the Targaryen customs and had dearly hoped they would be passed to you, but she had worried, as of late, whether such a thing would be encouraged.
-Though cherished by many, not all in Viserys' court approved of your mother. The Hightowers, in particular, had been averse to the match, for while her bloodline was undeniably strong, she herself could not be considered a tame woman.
-She was well-versed in the graces, it was true, and a delight to all she entertained. In such matters, the nobles could not find an ill word to speak against her, but nor could they deny the indocility, even rakishness cast in her shadow. She had not known Daemon a fortnight when the King's own Hand had discovered them in the Dragonpit, having just returned from a moonlit ride atop Caraxes, and in the midst of acts unbefitting a woman of her station.
-Ser Otto, in fairness, was not wrong in his judgement. In their youth, your mother did little to quell Daemon's chaos. If anything, she encouraged it, thriving alongside him in his adventures. He had pleaded with the King to deny the marriage, and Viserys had half a mind to listen until he saw his brother's smile. As one, they seemed something out of Valyria itself, in all its glory, and he could not bring himself to tear them apart. He gladly consented to their union, going so far as to allow a Valyrian ceremony with only a handful of guests and the stars standing witness.
-In the months that followed, they retreated to your father's ancestral seat at Dragonstone, preferring to avoid the politics and scheming of King's Landing at all possible costs. The gods, it seemed, were not so easily satisfied.
-A raven was flown to the Red Keep shortly after your mother fell pregnant, and the news was met with no small amount of excitement. Your father's first marriage had left him without an heir, and many had presumed the Rogue Prince had little interest in furthering the line. Viserys requested his presence at court, if only to determine his brother's true thoughts about the babe.
-Daemon arrived on dragonback a few days later, descending with the impish smile well-known to him, and something warm, almost kind stirring in his eyes. There was no doubt of his happiness, a great relief to his elder brother.
-Viserys was, indeed, gladdened by the fact that they had found peace on Dragonstone, but he was eager to see them return to the Red Keep before your mother gave birth. This much, the King had insisted upon, for the Maesters and midwives of the great castle were said to be the most skillful in the realm. Daemon could deny many things, but his brother's summons was not among them.
-"We shall return, brother," he had said with a cold smile. "Upon your command, my child will be born in this nest of vipers, but never will I allow a single drop of venom to so much as graze their skin."
-"Daemon, you needn't-"
-Your father would not hear it, paying no mind that interrupting his King was easily a punishable offense. "They will have a dragon of mine own choosing," he declared, "and shall be raised as their mother and I see fit, in accordance with the customs of our ancestors."
-"As is your right." Viserys maintained the stoicism expected of him as King, but a genuine joy shone through the façade. "Your child shall want for nothing," he promised.
-"Nor shall my wife." Daemon's eyes narrowed as he lowered his voice, ensuring that none but his brother would hear his solemn vow. "Should any in your court speak so much as a word against either of them, I shall gladly cut out their tongue." Without thought, he found his fingers dancing upon the hilt of Dark Sister, a sinister smile playing on his lips. "If your dear Hand is anything less than welcoming, I will take great pleasure in relieving him of his duties by way of beheading."
-Were it anyone else, such a threat would have been followed by severe consequence, but Viserys had a soft spot for his younger brother, whose fire so much reminded him of their mother. Daemon climbed atop Caraxes, returned to Dragonstone, and no more was said on the matter.
-He did not tell your mother what was spoken, nor did she wish to hear of it. She knew well what your father's temper could do, coupled with his unyielding loyalty. Upon his heated word, you would have a dragon. She did not care for anything else. She brought his hands to her lips, kissing each knuckle before releasing him to his task, wondering which egg he would choose. In his mind, however, there was no question.
-His cousin, the Princess Rhaenys, had recently departed with her children after an extended stay on Dragonstone. Her own dragon, Meleys, had accompanied them and laid a clutch of eggs in the island's volcano, Dragonmont. It seemed the greatest of all omens, for years before his cousin had claimed Meleys, when he himself was just a babe, Daemon's mother was her dragonrider.
-Though he could scarcely remember her, he had been told by all that he was, undoubtedly, his mother's son. In her arms, to the dismay of the Maesters, she had taken him upon the back of her dragon for his first flight not a fortnight after his birth. A creature of scarlet scales and copper claws, she was one of the swiftest dragons in the realm, even after so many years of comfort. He could not think of a better gift for you than an egg from his own mother's dragon.
-The descent was not an easy one. Many had tried and failed, the slightest misstep resulting in the most fatal fall, but your father was not afraid. He relished in the danger of it. He was not halfway to the bottom when he felt the mass shift, crumbling under his boot and echoing throughout the volcano as hunks of rock hit the ground. Any other man might catch his breath or clutch his heart. Your father only chuckled as he continued to maneuver himself masterfully. Going to such lengths for a child not yet born to him, smirking in the face of risk and finding no fear in his heart, it made him feel a good man. He did not know if his talents were well-suited to fatherhood, but of this, he was certain: you would always be protected.
-Leaping to the ground, he imagined spending the rest of his days defending you, willing at every moment to vanquish any enemy with a single stroke of his sword. Though your mother was a rogue in her own right in her earlier years, she had, as of late, preferred comfort and calm to the uncertainty she had once craved. Of course, he hoped your life would be peaceful, but he wondered if that's truly what you would want, or if you would take after him, forever trying to satisfy your own impulsivity.
-There were seven eggs in Meleys' clutch. Seven eggs for seven kingdoms, Daemon could not help but think, smiling as he gathered them with care. Each were unique unto themselves, though they bore the mark of their mother. One had golden flecks reminiscent of his brother's crown. Another was as pink as a maiden's blush, but it was the seventh egg that most caught your father's eye.
-As crimson as Caraxes' scales, with dapples of a spring rose and shadows of the purest black, there was no gift so befitting the child of the Rogue Prince. He held it dearly in his hands, admiring the way it shimmered in the slight streak of sunlight. They would place it in the warming chambers until your mother gave birth, where it would then reside in your cradle until it hatched. The thought of you flying alongside him on a dragon of such striking beauty stirred in him a giddiness he had never before felt. He wondered if this was fatherhood. Could he really be so lucky?
-He returned to your mother somewhat filthy, ash smeared across his cheeks while his leathers retained the scent of the volcanic rock.
-"You stink of dragon," she said, crinkling her nose as he drew nearer.
-He gave her a wry smile as he wrapped his arms around her waist. "My darling wife," he murmured, "I know very well that you love it."
-She giggled as she brushed her lips against his, hands tangling in his hair. He smelled of adventure. Danger. Power. He was a Targaryen, through and through, and she secretly hoped you would be the same.
-She pulled away and this time, it was Daemon who moaned in protest. She merely chuckled in response. "Shall I have a bath drawn for you, husband?"
-His fingers danced across the small of her back as his eyes twinkled. "Only, my love, if you'll join me."
Aegon Targaryen x Sister Targaryen Oc
Summary: Rhaenerys loved her siblings, especially her brother, whom she was willing to steal from under green's nose to keep him safe.
A/N: It’s not my best work but I hope you all gonna like it nonetheless.
English is not my native language. Sorry for any mistakes.
Part 2
Tumblr media
Rhaenerys was Rhaenyra's younger sister. Born a year later, she was nothing that her father had imagined. Until now, she remembered his words.
-The maester said it was a son, he had to be. How he kicked, how energetic and strong he was- Viserys had repeated through most of her childhood years.
The woman tried to ignore how much his words affected her, but eventually she began to live with them, transforming them into her strength. She was stubborn, temperamental, and clever, winning her place among the royal court , but her heart remained the same. Kind and loving to those who she loved.
Her older sister and she were inseparable. They were a rock and peace for each other. When their mother died, when their dear friend married their father, or when the world forgot about them the moment their younger siblings were conceived into the world. They clung to each other as if they were eachother last bit of hope.
Only then did Viserys begin to notice his second daughter. He began to notice her dedication, her kind soul and hardened spirit. He tried to be supportive as Rhaenerys stared blankly at the wall after hearing the news that she would never be able to have children of her own, tried to treat her as equal to the older Targeryen, unconsciously loving her more than ever before.
The princess did not show it, for her subjects she was a tough and self-confident woman, but inside she felt defeated, lonely.
Many men followed her with their eyes, not hiding their lust, but she stubbornly pushed them away, knowing that she would not give them what the lords wanted most - an extension of their legacy.
However, there were also those whom she let into her bed. Ser Criston or Harwin Strong were the ones her heart cried out to, but the white-haired woman ignored her feelings each time, eventually pushing them away to watch her sister take them into her chambers.
Over the years, she had finally accepted punishment from the gods.
She had no choice but to start living with it, because the curse had no intention of disappearing from her life anyway, so Rhaenerys turned her bitterness into love for her family, which grew drastically quickly, bringing with it equally drastic changes.
Her younger siblings spoke to her very often, and despite Rhaenyra's silent objections, she had nothing to say, watching the love she once received passes to her younger siblings.
Ageon probably loved her the most. She was the first person that did not instill in him the obligation to reign, or didn't beat him when he did something inappropriate. As it used to be for her older sister, the violet-eyed princess became a peaceful haven for the boy.
He often dreamed of her as his mother or lover. She was all he needed, making him a better and more decent man.
But when she disappeared for six years, hiding in Dragonstone with the king's eldest daughter, her uncle and their children, the white-haired man began to return to what his mother's upbringing had created, to the drunkard who slept with another woman every night.
When she found out about it, she wasn’t furious but disappointed and she didn’t even knew in who more, herself or the fair-haired prince.
Tumblr media
Sitting on the great bed, in the royal chambers, the silver-haired girl tried not to cry. Seeing her dying father was hard for her. Rhaenerys was convinced that Viserys had become a living corpse, and his great suffering was evident in his uncover eye.
Holding him by the hand, he told him about what was happening on Dragonstone, staying longer in his presence than Daemon and Rhaenyra, who left her alone with her parent for a moment.
She felt as if everything was starting to fall apart, and the sight of her brother only confirmed it.
Entering his room, she found a real mess. The smell of alcohol wafted through the air, and the prince himself lay on the creased sheets, snoring. The white-haired woman approached him, looking at his body from above, unconsciously combing his silver strands, as she used to do when he was still a child.
Aegon muttered under his breath as he tucked his face into the pillow, fearing that Alicent had decided to pay him a visit again.
-Aegon - the woman said, her velvety voice immediately recognized by the young man.
Frowning in consternation, he opened his eyes to see the Trageryen in front of him who had haunted his dreams too many times.
-Rhaenerys?- he asked in a hoarse voice, trying to force himself to awake.
-I came back - she informed him, walking away from the prince's bed, when he decided to get up.
Violet-eyed man grinned, hugging her tightly. Snuggling against her body, he hid his head in the crease of her neck, inhaling the familiar and soothing scent that surrounded the princess.
-I missed you - he confessed, overjoyed at the presence of his beloved sister, but she did not answer -What's the matter?- he asked confused, looking at her purple irises- Why are you looking at me like that? Rhaenerys please don't look at me like that- he whispered, seeing the same emotions that the queen often looked at him with.
-What happened to you?- she asked, touching his cheek, which was slightly flushed.
-You weren't here. You left me, and my mother still demands more of me. I can't handle it, you left me alone -he complained.
-Will you drink yourself to death with a prostitute by your side every time I leave you alone? - asked the daughter of the king - Aegon, I will not be with you all my life - the white-haired girl replied, catching his face in her hands to look him straight in the eyes.
-I'm sorry -he said, and the first tears began to run down his face.- I'll stop, just don't leave me, please- he croaked, falling into her arms.
Rhaenerys wrapped her arms around him tightly, kissing his temple, she stroked his head with her free hand, motherly rocking him from side to side to soothe his brother, if only slightly.
-Now, now - she whispered soothingly -There are things that need to be taken care of, Aegon, then I'm all yours - she added, and her younger brother squeezed her body tighter in an act of silent objection, but the silver-haired woman knew that no matter how much he would not like it ,the young man will agree to anything, as long as she will be around him.
Staring at the wall opposite them, she struggled with her thoughts. She felt as if she were faced with a choice between her sister and her brother, whom she loved too much to gain one at the expense of the other.
And oh, how quickly and unexpectedly she was told to make that choice.
Tumblr media
As she ran through Kings Landing, the woman was desperately searching for the white-haired man.
The king is dead. This words still echoed in her head like bells, pounding in her ears.
She stayed in the capital because of her younger siblings, only to become a prisoner of the castle the next day.
She and Rhaenys were furious and deaf at Alicent's offer to convince them to join her and her son. And when an opportunity arose in the form of a gap created by a white worm, they both fled out of the Red Keep, hidden behind wide hoods , hiding in the large group of people.
-Wait- said the princess.
-We don't have time for this Rhaenerys - the old woman said.
-I know about it -purple-eyed replied immediately- But Aegon is not in the castle, I have to find him.
-What for? He is to become a king, and this will create a conflict that can not be avoided anymore - said the white-haired woman- This may be the cause of your death, do not be stupid.
-Free the dragons, free Aegarax and Sunfyre - she ordered firmly, ignoring her words. -Trust me -Rhaenyra's sister said, grabbing her hands.
The late king's cousin merely nodded before moving forward, straight to Dragonpit, when she walked in the opposite direction, begging the gods to be on her side. Capturing Ageon was the best and most risky solution. The prince was the last pawn needed to start a civil war, and Rhaenerys intended to take him away and hide him away from the queen.
Holding the paper in her hand, she looked at it uncertainly.
According to the written message, her brother hid in a temple in the city center, so she, having nothing to lose, trusted a stranger who, to her surprise, left many clues for her.
When she was not far away, one of the prostitutes showed her the direction and the side entrance, as if knowing what the woman had came for.
The white-haired princess entered the stone building. Taking off her cloak, she began her search in a seemingly deserted temple.
-Ageon - said the princess - It's me Rhaenerys. We have to get out of here as soon as possible, we don't have much time.
As if on command, the violet-eyed man left the stone altar, looking uncertainly at his sister, who, seeing him, ran up to him quickly.
-White worm said he would take me to the ship- he informed her -I will disappear from here and Rhaenyra will become queen.
The woman frowned in concern. There was nothing in her letter about the boat or the disappearance. Suddenly, a soft growl fell from her lips, and her eyes darkened with anger.
The white worm probably made the game, and the prince was the grand prize. The one who gave more won him and the rest of the seekers.
-I don't trust him - Rhaenerys said -Aegon, you will come with me. We will fly to Dragonstone. Do you understand? -she asked, taking his hand.
-But our sister, she will kill me- he said- Let's just run away together somewhere, far away- added the fair-haired man.
-Nothing will happen to you - assured the young woman - She never wanted to kill you, your mother inculcated it into your head, if your coronation happens, the war breaks out Aegon and many heads will fall from many necks.
The young man, still scared, nodded understanding as he let his siblings lead him forward. The princess thought she had time, but the sight of unfamiliar men heading towards the temple had led her out of her misconception .
The siblings hid behind one of the massive pillars. The woman pulled a dagger from under her coat, grasping it firmly in her hand, while the other held her brother's hand.
Stepping slowly, she guided her and the prince's movements next to her. The two twins looked around for Aegon, and when they had gone far enough, they took the opportunity by sneaking to the door.
-Quick - Targaryen whispered, looking from side to side.
-Princess- a male voice called her. Rhaenerys stopped. Hiding the violet-eyed man behind her, she was looking confidently at Ser Criston's dark irises, accompanied by Aemond -Prince, your mother looking for you -he added, shifting his gaze to the man behind her.
-He's not going anywhere - she threatened, gripping the blade tighter.
Suddenly, the twins came out from behind their backs.
The white-haired girl looked away from one place to another. After a moment she closed her eyes, trying to calm her breathing.
Dragons can tell when their bonded riders need them.
Suddenly a loud roar spread around, and a shadow covered the square on which they were located.
Dragons are not foolish creatures.
Aegarax descended from the stone structure, landing next to Rhaenerys and Aegon, carefully watching the people in front of him with his eyes.
They can tell the difference between friend and foe.
Opening his mouth, he let out a loud scream again, and then a fire appeared in the back of his throat. The white-haired woman took the opportunity to drag the would-be king to her reptile, quickly climbing his back together with the young man.
-Sōvēs! (Fly) - the blonde said loudly, and the animal rose heavily, destroying parts of some buildings around them.
The black beast soared above the ground as it flew through the city.
The rider looked back, the King's Landing receded farther and farther away, to become only a blur. As two more roars spread through the air, she breathed a sigh of relief. Rhaenys wth her dragon and Sunfyre flew near them.
The women looked at each other and nodded their heads in silent understanding. The white-haired girl closed her eyes, feeling the adrenaline leaving her body.
Aegon grabbed her hand, squeezing it as tightly as they had been a few moments ago when they were on the ground, then he kissed her cheek, hiding his face in her neck.
-Thank you- he whispered, but she heard him anyway.
Rhaenerys joined their hands together in response, nestling against his torso. They were safe...for now.
