Hahahaha, holy FUCK. I often times have a habit of watching YouTube artists draw and talk about their process and I stumbled upon this one artist who is so fucking pretentious, skimming through one video was enough to nauseate me.

@hollycbrown Ahh! I couldn’t help it. <3 love your comic so much. I really like Purgatory, I honestly think is a amazing concept, has a very interesting and unique take on a religion cult, and I absolutely love both your characters Simon and Damian, so, here’s Simon (I read your comic while I made this, that’s why it inspired me so much to draw this.) I hope there’s still many more pages to come. I can’t wait to read them. <3

so i was rereading @hollycbrown ‘s Purgatory for the bajillionth time and remembered that i ship Merari and Simon... then I remembered Hanahaki is a thing

I missed markers. Btw this was done in the sketch book that was meant for inktober last year. (I never finished it because I my mental state was so bad :,D I'm so happy things have gotten so much better) either way I have really been inspired by those doll repainting video on YouTube. Especially dollightful, I really love her voice and har art style. Also taking a note from @hollycbrown and I'm trying out thinner lines.

HOLLY BROWN APPRECIATION POST

So H.C Brown (Or commonly known as Holly Brown) has been talking about how she gets negative call out posts and so I thought she deserves a positive one! Because honestly her art and the advice she gives is so inspirational and she deserves a whole lot lore appreciation than she receives. So I just wanted to say how Holly Brown is truly one of THE best artist on YouTube and her along with others are so educational for younger artist who want to be freelancers, animators, story board artists, designers, and etc! They all give such great advice and Holly’s isn’t always positive which is amazing! Since others tend to jump in with no thought of the bad that could happen, but recognizing the potential bad and working around or with it is a great tactic for life and Holly has expressed that to the people who are willing to go through the struggle for their dreams.

To recap my little Drabble:

Holly has been, and probably will continue to be, a great inspiration for younger or beginner artists. She doesn’t deserve the shit she gets since she’s simply putting her passion into her hobby and while doing such she’s trying to help educate people with her own experiences. Which is an admirable thing to do.
