You know another thing I noticed with the Beasts and our Ancients? The Beasts were baked and dropped into their positions and the Ancients were baked to grow up (whether you believe they were baked as babies or as children or teens already) and choose/get led into their positions.

Unless I’m wrong but nothing really shows that the Beasts had a life like our Ancients did before they got their SoulJams or became kings/queens (White Lily only technically recently got her kingdom)

Pure Vanilla and White Lily went to an Academy (whether as children, teen, young adult is up to you to decide headcanon wise) and at some point met Hollyberry, Dark Cacao and Golden Cheese. I remember somewhere, I could be wrong, that they were just a group of adventurers (One of PV’s lines in the Cookie list if you have him is “I haven’t been on an adventure for a long time!” Or something like that) and eventually split off when they found their SoulJams. I don’t mean split off as in their friend circle because they all came together after PV’s kingdom/castle was founded/made and made a promise in the Solarium of Unity. White Lily was there (WITH HER OWN SOULJAM BTW) for PV’s coronation(which kinda questions where the others were? Y’all weren’t there for your best friend’s coronation? Unless they were there just off screen ig or they were in the process of receiving their own SoulJam or founding their kingdoms while this was happening. After all we don’t know the order of the Ancients founding their kingdoms). So you can kinda see the passage of time with the Ancients with their sprites, if they have or don’t have SoulJams, and what they or others say.

The Beasts were just said to have been baked and then given the SoulJams. Hell maybe we have a situation where the Beasts were teens as well when they were baked but thrown into their positions to wield the SoulJams because the Witch(es) only thought about whether or not these 5 could wield them. So the Beasts are just misguided children (not saying they are children currently. if they were baked as teens they obviously grew into adults and if not, they are already adults). Because also the Witch(es) did nothing to help them really with their powers. Kinda just let them figure it out for themselves and when they went batshit with said powers, just opted to seal them away.

Maybe our Ancients were planned from the start to be the new holders of the SoulJams (i'm basing this off their descriptions on how they were made/born except Golden Cheese mysteriously doesn't have a line or anything in her paragraph saying how she was made) and the Witch(es) hope they can redeem the Beasts.

If the Beasts do get redeemed, I'm hoping they're like the Diamonds in SU where they're silly little aunts/uncles and use their powers for helping Cookies or develop new powers as well to do that.

-Devotion-

The purist white hair, a dedicated heart, and the feint smell of Liles. Those were the feature of the person before you. This person should have been her; One of the Ancient Heros, and yet, that was not the case. This was somebody else... A certain blue jester of decite.

You knew this, and yet you still followed them so willingly, and so blindly. Was it because of the promise to rule the world... or was it for some other reason?

"Oh button, are you ready?" The person would ask.

White Lily was known for her violet eyes, the ones that held a passion for protecting all of cookie kind. This person was lacking that, though.

These eyes were an electric and sky blue, and the only things behind them was the hope to see the world burn.

And, it was in that moment that you finally realized why you would follow Shadow Milk like this.

It was because of the way he could make your heart flutter, like no other person had been able to.

"I am," You'd respond while taking White Lily's hand.

The cookie would smile at you with that crazed expression before appearing on a stage with you.

"I know that all of you have been waiting to see the star of the show, and here I am at last!"

White Lily would do a bow dedicated towards the audience.

That audience being the four other Ancient Heros.

Discussion between the others would begin to stir. Some were filled with feat, other hate, and a few, utter confusion.

Pure Vanilla knew who was on stage instantly, and he would look at you with a concerned look. "That person is not White Liliy," He'd explain.

Of course, you were already aware of this.

"Oh dearest dove-" White Lily would say while taking your hand.

"Are you ready to test your devotion?"

You were originally loyal to White Lily

And you noticed the change in behavior and eye color immediately

He saw something special in you and decided to keep you around

Was very glad he did because you're amazing!

Calls you things like dove, doll, button, dear, devotee

Probably likes to dance with you

Like, box steps and things like that

You have to listen to his rants about the other ancients

Hated P.V in particular

100% manipulates you

Uses sweet talk to get what he wants

Will complain if you don't play dolls with him

The ancients have to lose.

May I request holly berry cookie with a s/o who is a white fluffy feathered dragon who is very lazy. Like I can see her holding s/o potato stack style dragging her to the battle grounds to spar cause dragons are strong, while s/o is just sleeping in her arms while being dragged away. Also s/o always wins being a naturally strong dragon. Also s/o just being protective of the holly berry family and just puff ups their feathers to anyone willing to hurt them to try to be threatening but that doesn’t work out very well, so a tail smack to the face it is

~| A lot of people think your relationship is complicated. A powerful dragon with a powerful cookie, a species dragons tend to look down upon. Others see drama and fights and brawls.

~| Really, though, your relationship with Hollyberry would be quite simple. You two act like an old married couple. Perhaps you ARE and old married couple- with dragons being immortal and Hollyberry’s Soul Jam keeping her alive forever 👀.

~| A lot of play fights and brawls, espexially when you and Holly are drunk. None of it is actually viscious, but the looser will get teased for the next week or so, until the next play fight occurs and they win.

~| Hollyberry loves giving hugs, to you especially! First of all, you can resist her bone-breaking affectionate squeezes that would probably choke a weak cookie, second- feathers. Fluffy, soft, and cuddly, Hollyberry LOVES how soft you are!

~| She finds it oddly endearing when you fluff yourself up aggressively. She finds it soo cute, even though it’s supoSSED TO BE A VERBAL BATTLE CRY GET THE MEMO HOLLYBERRY SMH. Hollyberry breaks down into giggles every time you do this.

~| She compares you a lot to a bird, especially Parrots. She just thinks you’re very similar to them, and has even tried to catch one to prove her point- which resulted in her getting pecked in the eye and not being able to see properly for a week.

~| She finds it interesting how you can go from being this massive agro birb dragon to just flopping down on the floor and blepping your tongue out. She’s gotten used to you doing that at random times, and has learned how to pick you up to get you moving, if she needs to be somewhere.

~| If she doesn’t need to be somewhere, a lot of the times she will just lay down beside you and give you a hug, and you two can just snuggle wherever it is you collapsed- be it in a field, in the palace, or on the packed streets of the kingdom, she doesn’t mind.

~| You either have to stop her from absolutely inhaling every millimeter of juice or aid her in her quest to rid the world of the alcoholic substance via her stomach. If you can’t beat it, why not join it?

Had too many spaces in my kingdom that I don’t know what to fill them with! And then it occurred to me, how about the Garden of Unity? Hence, I made my journey in constructing the garden!

I put the statues of the ancients and decorate it with flowers that are associated with them, or scream their vibes pretty well!

Unfortunately, the Garden of Unity is merely 60 % in completion. Still waiting for White Lily Cookie’s and Golden Cheese Cookie’s respective statues.

I had a thought of what if PV grew up with the Beasts regardless of them corrupting and then I thought of what if the other Ancients were the Beasts' children.

One where they were handed off to Shadow Milk as he ran away with PV and then another where they still raised them as they corrupted.

So I just had made more AUs off from my Dad! Shadow Milk AU lol

Headcanons

Warnings: not proof read

Golden Cheese

The teacher told her that you pushed a kid in the playground

You said that he wouldn't get off of your swing

She acted all disappointed

"Oh my, that was very bad of you.."

Tells the teacher that she will make sure to talk to you about it

Outside of the room though, she gave you a fistbump and said the kid had it coming

Def did not tell you to do it again but record it

You did and she could not stop laughing

White Lily

When the teacher told her about it, she was shocked

She didn't want to belive it, and said you would never do anything like that

White Lily asked you if it was true

You said it was

She kinda just went quiet the rest of the meeting

Didn't scold you on it since she didn't have the heart to

Pure Vanilla

He too didn't want to believe it

Asked you if it was true and you said it was

He immediately started to apologize to the teacher

Said he was going to have a talk with you

Outside he said that you shouldn't have done it

Very disappointed

Thought he raised you better 😢

Dark Cacao

Didn't have much of a reaction

Swore you wouldn't do it

Kinda just ignored the teachers complaints

Outside he just ruffled your hair

Told you to use your sword next time

He taught you how to use one for a reason

SHOW NO MERCY

Hollyberry

She denied it instantly

Fought against the teacher and said you were innocent

May have flipped the table

Didn't even ask you if it was true because she trusted you

Got you ice-cream afterwards

Would not stop complaining about the teacher

Aww, pure vanilla is the soft boy friend, white lily is the shy one, and they are like the parents to the chaotic Hollyberry and Golden cheese and Dark cacao is the angsty cousin-

NO!

Pure Vanilla and White Lily are both fucking gremlins. Pure Vanilla got them anger issues and no self preservation and will throw himself at a swarm of bees because he wanted to pet them. White Lily is a criminal, even before she became DE. She was doing illegal shit ever since the Blueberry academy, and has several assault records where she would lunge onto other students and bite their legs like the fucking gremlin she is.

Hollyberry was the sensible one. Given when she met the others, she was the only offical royal. She made sure they ate and slept, and cared for them after they jumped into lava to grab a bug. Though yes, she could be swayed into having fun and was overly upbeat. She was the mother of the group.

Now okay, nothing about Dark Cacao changed form the first part. He is the angsty cousin friend. Emo, lightweight, like Pv and WL, no self preservation. Has lit himself on fire to feel anything. Actually he was pretty chaotic in a shy way. Would purposely be the one to jump off a cliff because why not. (He would still do this, even as the stoic king he is)

Golden Cheese was also kind of the shy one when she were young. But very curious about everything. So very oblivious and nosey. Would chase after random things and get lost. She ain’t like that now. Now she is the gremlin friend. Pulls pranks on everyone, hordes gold like it’s the last piece of cheese on earthbread. She has and will dance upon other people graves.

Of course from how they were when they were young, versus how they are now, changed heavily due to the cookies of earthbread needing them to be heroes. Lily lost her spark that made her the chaotic gremlin they were all used to. Pure Vanilla become much softer spoken, wouldn’t make his opinions know if they would hurt others. Not like how he would when he was young. Hollyberry grew louder more out there. She had to be a beacon of love and joy, or the point of her soul jam being a heart would be all for nought.

Golden cheese is now well, cheese. She just became a gremlin.

And Dark Cacao………. Eh nothing really changed.
