Just a suggestion to all askers in the future: don't go anon, I'd love to be buddies with everyone who likes the same ships I do. I mostly do rarepairs and stuff so it's nice to have people with the same brainrot.

The fact Hiyosou got top 3 with characters being shipped with Hiyoko (with Hiyobuki and Mahiyoko ahead) is unbelieveable but also good.....was really nice to see happen

Yeah it really was! It's crazy to think that the ship would even be top 3 material, granted not a lot of ships are popular with Hiyoko like at all because of her nature, but dang, something to think about.

To me it really is the only M/F ship that works with Hiyoko to me. They're both just so pathetic, they deserve eachother lol

Unhinged Hiyoko WIP. Not shipping content, at least yet, I don't really like to ship them when Hiyoko's in her pre growth-spurt form.

Random ship thought, but I like, imagine that Hiyoko's bones would've been really fucked in that 6-month growth spurt, like she'd be in some insane fucking pain like she'd probably barely be able to get sleep with how quickly she's growing in that growth spurt. And she'd also be like, eating food by the trayful too.

So not necessarily a Hiyosou thought, but if you had a ship with her I think this period of time is extra interesting to explore. Six months of developing a relationship with someone bullying people to keep her mind off the pain of the world's most unholy growth spurt. Pile that on with all the other implications and complications too.

Incidentally, I can't get the image of Kazuichi and Hiyoko chilling out in her room, Kaz in a chair, Hiyoko in bed while talking about everything that hurts while Kaz just listens (but not because they like eachother or anything of course not /j)

What's your thoughts on Kazuichi x Mahiru?

It's really really good, it's probs my no 3 ship for Kaz. 1st being with Hiyoko on her own obviously and no 2 being a poly relationship with Hiyoko and Mahiru.

I think they all work together really well, I just like Hiyosou way more cause there's a lot of narrative threads potential between them that make them the more interesting couple. For all their differences and awful qualities, there's more than enough space there for understanding and growth. For Mahiru x Kaz, I see a more simple journey, not worse, but just simpler and less interesting for me as a whole.

But still, they are very cute :)
