Even sitting in front of the entrance to the area, you’re still not sure how your boyfriend and your best friends were able to convince you to go to a haunted house.

You were an easy scare, a loud noise or a quick movement and you were jumping out of your seat with a shriek.

However, Barzy, Anders, Noah, Oliver, Alex, Hudson, Simon, and even Ilya had begged you to go for weeks and you had finally caved to half the isles roster just so they would get off your back.

But now as you stood in front of the entrance to the haunted house you wanted nothing more than to turn and run.

“Yeah no, not happening,” you say, crossing your arms and shaking your head as your eyes flick back and forth between the house and Anders.

“Oh come on,” he starts but you’re already shaking your head again.

“Nope, no way. Simon let’s go,” you grab your young best friend's hand and start to pull him with you away from the haunted area but unfortunately your boyfriend is quicker, stepping in front of the two of you.

“Holmy, go inside the haunted house,” Anders uses his captaincy to his advantage and Simon casts you a glance that conveys all apologies before walking away to meet up with the rest of the guys.

“Come on, it’s just a haunted house! It’ll be like a walk in the park,” Anders insists and you pout at him.

“More like a walk through hell,” you mutter and Anders jokingly rolls his eyes.

“I’ll protect you the entire time. I'll even make the boys form a circle around us so the actors can’t come near you,” he promises.

You look up at him, seeing pure sincerity in his eyes and your heart melts a little bit. You know Anders would do anything to protect you and wouldn’t let anyone hurt you and always made sure you were comfortable.

“Let’s get this over with,” you state, grabbing Anders hand and dragging him into the haunted house, your heart already jumping from Anders touch.

I am disappointed in you Internet

So recently I've finished playing through TGAA Chronicles and still need to finish organizing my screenshots and work them into a usable format with the game scripts for both games, so I may return to the GSvsAA Project at last. I've even got my casual-AA-fan brother to start playing through the first game and he's loving it so far.

But then I was reminded of one moment in Episode 4 of Resolve when our lovable Holmes was complaining about rent as always. Our lovable Iris reminded him that he squandered his last client's payment on a freakin' automobile.

Where the deuces is my fanart of "Herlock Sholmes driving a car", Internet!?

All Google revealed to me was the piddly-squat we have of the history of Sherlock Holmes media featuring anachronistic vehicles and maybe a mention of an automobile in one of the later stories.

The first person who sees this and draws a picture of Holmsie with his holmies chillin' in a time-appropriate antique car from the early 1900s (preferably before 1910) will have done the entire Ace Attorney community and Internet fandom communities in general a Godsent favor.

Also I'll grant you a sneak peek into upcoming writing projects I hope to publish before this year ends, but we'll see where that goes.

In other news, I've had a long enough hiatus from my GSvsAA Project. Before I jump into DGSvsTGAA, though, I still need to finish up GS4vsAJAA. Please look forward to incoming updates later this week.

ok hello now I’ll talk about my one week in Russian 🛫🛫. It so very fun. When I went there, the first thing I thought was going to be really cold. which is really cold. 🥶🥶❄. first day I want to go to hotel very much. hotel name Swissotel Krasnye Holmy Moscow 🏢🏢 . I really want to keep my luggage 🎒 🎒 in my room because it's messy😮 . In first day I don’t want to go out anyways. I want to stay in hotel with my vodka 🥃🥂.

In second day I wanna go 🏰Hermitage Museum 🏰it so f**king beautiful.The green wall alternates with white outside that it's already beautiful. The more you visit inside, your friends will be amazed at the beauty even more. if you want to go I recommend booking tickets online because if going to buy tickets🎫. You will have to stand in line for a very long time🕒. In the night I go Poltavskaya 7 and I see my my friend cliff with his girlfriend.👩 Yeb I single 😑 I don’t have girlfriend. and Im comeback hotel drink my vodka and sleep.💤💤

In next day It very bad day😥. I forgot my 👛 wallet 👛 In bad luck, there is also good luck. Cliff found it in club when I back to hotel . he found it outside the club. but In bad luck, there is also good luck and also bad luck someone stolen my money .😥😨😱 but it also lucky because in my wallet it have only 500 baht lol.

In last day I gonna back home but I wanna go to St. Basil’s Cathedral. St. Basil's Cathedral is another important landmark of Russia. See the appearance of St. Basil's Cathedral, very beautiful and unique. And I shopping in GUM. and last where I wanna go is Arbat Street . Change to a chill walk Let's look at the atmosphere along the way. Arabat Street is considered the oldest street in Moscow. After many trips I concluded that I couldn't get on the plane in time.😢

Yes, every one.

Notes:

-I am not a professional character designer by any capacity

-I'm purely looking at cohesion of group design, but I will touch on how well individual ones are handled

-I am clinically insane

Okay let's get into it

Plasmagica

THE titular band. Unfortunately doesn't stop them from looking like they're all a part of a different band. While all the individual designs work well to showing their personality, it doesn't allow the band to have a really well defined look. ESPECIALLY considering the anime, they really could've done to have redesigns to show character development(and also stress my sister out when trying to pull for the new outfits /j). It'd also help if they didn't look completely removed from their band name. Like seriously. Plasmagica is not the first name I'd pick.

ShinganCrimsonZ

I like how they're described as a visual kei band, that's just kinda cute. That being said they're so paradoxically cohesive and not??? I really do love them but they all really, really do look like they're going to different Halloween parties. One thing shingan could really benefit from is either

A) not having 3/4ths of the band with the titties out look

Or

B) give the titties out look more variety

Like dude Rom is probably the worst offender his top half has none of the band's main color(which is objectively black) and this could be fixed so easily. Give him a sheer crop top. I don't care. Just something

TriChronika.... Bad. The songs they sing are fucking weak sauce and so are their designs. Which is so unfortunate because they have the MOST bangerang theme?? It doesn't help that I still am physically incapable of telling Kai and Riku apart. Their palettes make them look like they belong in a different band entirely when put next to ShuuZo. I get, on some level, that Shuuzo is supposed to be the center focus and thus is designed accordingly, but Mr Sparkledog left his companions with no flair of their own to speak of, and no, Kai and Riku being twins is not an excuse for them to not have good tells??? Get your shit together TriChronika

FINALLY. GOOD DESIGN. clear themeing, really strong palettes to set them apart, I love it here. Holmy and Jacklyn are my favorites u_u but I think Rosia's myumon form has the weakest palette, and could probably do better if her fur color was just adjusted. That being said, these girls are overall one if the best designed groups that appears in the anime.

Tsurezure Naru Ayatsuri Mugenan

I legit think the only weaknesses of TNAM is how hard it is to remember their name (/j) in all seriousness they work really well too, and I especially love Daru Dayu's daruma. Their "far east" look is very clear to see.

Shizuku Secret Mind

The anime very smartly avoids having Turtle B.I.G make an appearance in non-myumon form bc he looks so out of place next to the band, and that's entirely bc of his palette. The obvious solution is to just... Give the other band members a more varied palette? Sea creatures are so many colors, why are they all blue???? Also Wendy looks like a different person in all her card art and that's so funny to me.

NinjinRiot

I cannot begin to tell you how accidentally funny NinjinRiot is in the anime. They legit show up, dispense the stakes, and ollie outie. Which I can respect. This is one of those well designed band, except for Obero's myumon design. The torso area gets melted into the arms. Still!! Really stylish

Studdo Ban Gyashu

Now these motherfuckers deserve to get called a visual kei band. My one complaint is that their distinct colors don't really enhance each other designs, so none really stand out.

I'd be more upset about one of the members being a literal fucking mountain if I wasn't already aware that they were based on a real band and that this real life band made of human people was sat down by Sanrio and told "hey, we're going to turn you into furries" and one of them went "actually, I want to be a large geographical feature" and Sanrio replied "okay, that scans" and yknow what? I can't dunk on that

2019. december végén a Nirvana legismertebb slágere átlépte az 1 milliárdos youtube megtekintést, e mérföldkő apropójából tekintjük át a mai napig legkelendőbb album keletkezését.

1991. szeptember 24-én megjelenik a Nevermind. Hatalmas durranás, majd három hét múlva, október 12-én már aranylemez. Ezzel a Nirvana kiüti a toplisták élbolyában trónoló Michael Jacksont és piperkőc sztártársait, de sajnos nem a helyükre kerülnek, hanem melléjük. Ez túl nagy nyomás és sokk volt Kurt Cobain számára, majd újabb durranás következett, de ezt inkább már szegény fiú feje bánta.

És a Nirvana-mítosz megszületett. A haláleset után pedig könyvek, naplók, dokumentumfilmek és emlékdalok sokasága látott napvilágot többek között olyan előadók tollából, mint Michael Stipe, Eddie Vedder, vagy éppen a mi Lukács Lacink. Mindenki levette a maga részét a Nirvana-Cobain-örökségből, legnagyobb mértékben persze a heroinfüggő ribanc-feleség („Nothing really bothers her/She just wants to love herself”).

Itt azonban okfejtés helyett koncentráljunk az albumra, melyet jó pár esetben túlértékeltek a jeles rockfirkászok. Kurt Cobain definíciója szerint a Nirvana egy trió, amely heavy rockot játszik punk felhangokkal. És ez jól is van így, hiszen nem tettek mást, csak újrahasznosították és újraértelmezték kedvenc zenéiket, továbbvitték a Melvins, Mudhoney, R.E.M., Velvet Underground, Sonic Youth örökségét. Talán épp’ ezért nemhogy újítónak, de eredetinek is csak jó szándékkal nevezhetnénk ezen albumot. Egyes elmondások szerint Krist és Dave is csak nevettek, a próbateremben, amikor Kurt egy szál gitárral adta elő nekik a Smells Like Teen Spirit kezdeményét. És mégis! Sikerült berúgniuk a mainstream és alternatív között húzódó ajtókat, melyeken korábban már a Pixies, a Metallica és a Guns N’ Roses is dörömbölt. Ezen szivárogtak be később és a mai napig a másod-, ill. harmadgenerációs punk bandák és a keményebb zenék képviselői.

„Nem csináltak semmi különöset, egyszerűen csak megjelentették a lemezt. Egy olyan lemezt, amire mindenki várt, csak éppen senki sem volt képes előttük megcsinálni. Náluk a metal legjobb pillanatai találkoztak az R.E.M. legjobb pillanataival. Hosszú évek előzték meg a Nevermind létrejöttét. Az R.E.M.-től a Hüsker Dü-n és a Pixies-en át a Black Flag-ig mindenki hozzájárult ehhez valamivel. A Nirvana mindössze nagyon népszerűen fogalmazta meg ezt a punkos muzsikát. Nagyon popos lemezt csináltak, de ugyanakkor őszintét. Olyan albumot, amelyik hű maradt az egész amerikai punk rock mozgalomhoz.” - nyilatkozta Thurston Moore a kultikus Sonic Youth zenekar énekes-gitárosa.

Mondhatnánk, hogy jó időben voltak jó helyen (azt azért meg kell említeni, hogy az MTV nyomta őket reggel, délben, este, meg éjjel), de ez sem teljesen igaz, hiszen egy tucat, valóban helytálló (s mint utólag kiderült időtálló) dalt hallhatunk, melyek egyszerűen, ugyanakkor dús érzelmekkel átitatva szólnak az ifjúság biszbaszos küszködéseiről. A Smells Like Teen Spirit abszolút nihil-himnusz (itt jegyezzük meg, hogy a SLTS kislemezen jelent meg akkoriban az Even in his Youth című szintén nagyszerű nóta), melyet azóta szanaszét lopkodtak a zenésztársak és melynek klipfelvételein az ifjú Burton C. Bell, a Fear Factory metalbanda énekese is jelen volt, ott csápolt a tornateremben tombolók között. Az In Bloom váltakozó vadságával és líraian lágy dallamaival, míg a Breed nyersességével tarol, addig a Come as you Are pofonegyszerű, és nagyszerű riffjével a kiváló popdal, és a Polly (mely egy brutális nemi erőszak meséje és nem holmi szerelmes ballada) mellett az amatőr gitárosok kedvence. A Lithium a szövegével, a Territorial Pissings és a Drain You kiakadtságával és zaklatottságával operál. Mindezek mellett a U.K. Subs által is feldolgozott Stay Away ordibálós punkosságával és trendkívüliségével hódít, az On a Plain pedig a lázadó-laza Lounge Act mellett szimplán a legjobb szám. Az Aberdeentől való elidegenedést, Kurt hajléktalanként tengődő rövid időszakát megéneklő Something in the Way búskomor levezetője tökéletes zárása az albumnak. Bár a mindössze hatszáz dollárból felrántott Bleach-hez képest a neves Butch Vig által producerelt nagyobb költségvetésű Nevermind hangzása jóval polírozottabbnak tűnik, mégsem lenne helyénvaló bármiféle kötekedés. Ez egy ízig-vérig punk gyökerekkel rendelkező pop-album, tele valódi emberi értékekkel és érzésekkel, egy hihetetlen mértékben őszinte és érzékeny srác tolmácsolásában.

Mindent összevetve a Nevermind nem gyógyír a sebre, se nem elixír, csupán tudatja veled, hogy nem vagy teljesen egyedül a kirekesztettség, elnyomottság, elhagyatottság és magányosság érzésével, amikor úgy érzed, összecsap fejed felett a szar. De néha ugye a tudat is segít, hogy nem vagy egyedül. Derűsebb napokon könnyen lehervaszthatja a hallgató arcáról a mosolyt és az utolsó dal végére erősen kerülgetheti a kettőhúszbanyúlás gondolata, de ez is azt bizonyítja, hogy nem szabad túl komolyan venni ezt a dolgot, hiszen avégből születtünk a földre, hogy ökörködjünk, nem igaz?

A nyúlásról másnak nyilván inkább a nagyhalom lóvé juthatott eszébe, elég csak a Stiltskin reklámzene megaslágerére gondolni, vagy említhetjük az Offspring pofátlan Self-esteem dalát, ill. a Metallica Until it Sleepsjében is megidézi a Teen Spirit szellemét.

A banda legfőbb ereje és hatékonysága pont a primérségében és kendőzetlen őszinteségében rejlik, és ez bizony belülről jön. Nem sikerülhet akárkinek. Függetlenül a vízben szabadon lebegő, vagy éppen a cenzúra által kitakart bébikukitól, a lemezt hallgatva kétségtelenül kijelenthetjük egy kiváló popalbummal állunk szemben. Mely akkor is, és most is megállja a helyét, üzenete az idő múlásával egyre aktuálisabbá válik. A korral nemesedik, ahogy mondani szokták, ugye. Miután meghallgattuk a lemezt és levontuk a konzekvenciákat éljünk nekünk tetsző, tartalmas életet és örüljünk, ha minden jól megy, mi csak a nyugdíj után vonulunk a nirvánába.

Kurt Cobain 1994. április 5-én bekövetkezett öngyilkossága utána a sajtó újra és azóta is sokszor előkapja a 27-esek klubja néven elhíresült elemezgetését, hogy miért pont ennyi idősen és miért csak popsztárok lépnek be halálukkal a klub ajtaján. Ők azok, akik huszonhét évesen távoztak a földi létből a halhatatlanságba: Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Robert Johnson, Jim Morrison (The Doors), Brian Jones (Rolling Stones), Dave Alexander (The Stooges), Kristen Pfaff (Hole), Ron „Pigmen” McKernan (Grateful Dead), Alan „Blind Owl” Wilson (Canned Heat), Pete de Freitas (Echo & the Bunnymen), Richey James Edwards (Manic Street Preachers), Jeremy Michael Ward (Mars Volta), Amy Winehouse.

Lanza decided against revealing such plans in his personal documents, so unless you read his correspondence and online postings as hypothetical, then the answer is no.

Essentially as one himself, there is mention of an existent fanbase in an email dated December 12, 2012, specifically the Holmies, a group he must have encountered first-hand in the midst of his time on here, and his wonderment at why Loughner was not afforded the same protective feelings. He also said, “I can’t really relate to it.”

Additionally, in an earlier forum post from February 28th, he wrote: “But just look at how many fans you can find for all different types of mass murderers ‘not just the Reb & VoDkA bunch,’ and beyond these fans are countless more people who can sympathize with them; and beyond these are millions more who never think of relating the circumstances of their lives to anyone else but instead just go through the motions of life incessantly dissatisfied with their environment.”

Ave Maria: The False Story on Fox News That Began A Search For Truth In The Theater Trial

Maria, or Desiree, the woman who worked for the Parker County Correctional Services and allegedly saw James in the medical unit of the Aurora jail, is dead. She has been dead for a few years, but her story still lingers. Many facts and circumstances were debunked by the Holmies, the true crime community at large. Justin Joseph alleges that she gave his station paperwork to prove her story, but he refused to provide any copies of it. When questioned he never avowed anything about her identity, but he did say that he believed her story.

I wonder does he believe it now? How can the Aurora DA’s be such a bunch of lying manipulative assholes?
