Oh copy/paste and desktop Tumblr, how I've missed you so XDD
I'm still unable to sit at my desk for as long as I'd like to.. but I can sit long enough to draw some comics here and there at least! One of which being a (somewhat) angsty comic with Grim and V! Did you really think they escaped my angst curse?? It was only a matter of time before I cursed them as well! XDD
But for real, I've wanted to draw something angsty with Grim and V for a while now. And I'm glad I was finally able to! Even if its kind'aaa more of a goofy comic with angsty undertones rather than full on angst. XDD
The more I draw these two, the more lore I start to build in the background... I wonder if I should explore Grim's more serious angst sometime.. 😈😈

Nico referring to his mom as "Mama" implies he most likely at least used to refer to Hades as "Papa" and i 100% headcanon he still does but mostly in the manner of him having the entire Underworld wrapped around his finger for being the baby of the family

#tbb#the bad batch#the bad batch season 2#the bad batch season 3#tbb tech#tbb omega#i was worried that this wouldn’t really come across as i intended#i’ve heard a lot of people complain about the characterization of tech in fanon#they make him a lot less capable than he is in canon just because he is the ‘nerd’ of the team#which i totally agree with#so i didn’t want it to seem like i was doing the same#i just think that tech would have a difficultly expressing some of his vulnerability around his brothers because they are so often stoic#(and frequently make fun of one another)#and omega might be the first person he feels comfortable in letting that side of him show#idk#just a sweet idea to me#anyway i decided i wasn’t going to finish this because of my fear of being misinterpreted but i did like how these sketches turned out#so here :)#a little treat#mods art#my art#mods draws#star wars#sw tbb#star wars the bad batch

#rayman#artists on tumblr#these were made over the course of like two months or so#you can see that i was messing with his design a bit#kind of adjusting the way i drew him as i went along#uhhh anyways yeah i just think he's neat#he's fun to draw#its because he doesn't have limbs#drawing limbs is my least favorite part of drawing any humanoid character#so him not having any takes away a lot of the frustration i often have in drawing certain dynamic poses#he's also very cartoony which is up my alley. very expressive and fun#he has helped me push drawing exaggerated expressions more#he has good shapes!! its good character design!!!#and drawing him is comforting#i'll draw something else eventually but for now i'm just having fun#i have no idea how i'm going to format this post on twitter without it getting cropped to hell#i will worry about that later

#laishuro#laios touden#i make a lot of jokes on here since part of the fun of this blog for me is limiting myself to only expressing ideas via drawings#as much as I can to try to see what I can try to convey in the limited time I have to draw each day which is sometimes like 15minutes#but laios idea of who shuro was to him and who he continues to be and how it ties into his own feelings of self worth and self hatred#not to mention being so thoroughly defined by having never been indulged before by the men in his life#are so compelling to me#and then of course you mix in toshiros own mind prisons#and their established dynamic of him begrudgingly putting up with him because he feels he has to and bc hes cursed with obedience#whilst laios genuinely thinks shuro does it because he likes it and likes laios because why else would anyone act like that#when everyone else in his life has not hesitated to Let Him Know#this is what is so fun about relationships like this…forever passing by each other’s true feelings like ships in the night#and on toshiros side umineko said it best People are riddles. They want someone else to solve their riddle#they live life wanting someone to solve the riddle that they are#the most difficult riddle in the world#without love the truth cannot be seen sighhhh many such cases#sometimes i get embarassed how deep i get for some of the characters in this series it really is that deep sometimes but not always#but WHATEVER#i never even engaged in or was interested in shipping the several years i read dunmeshi EXCEPT laishuro lol#which i sadistically wanted to stay one sided and miserable forever. I rarely get fed such genuinely fraught dynamics as their one in manga#so i became obsessed#and walked through the desert alone for 40 years and then checked in as anime started airing that other people ship this and gaf#and decided to unleash the jokes and ideas that my like 2 friend who like anime previously suffered alone as though they were jesus christ#now tho as much as I still enjoy tragedy and pain and emotional suffering I’ve let love and peace and requited fulfilled yaoi into my life#with laishuro. and its great!#my comics
