ive seen a few people complain about how it’s boring to draw abed because his clothes are uninteresting and. if you genuinely want suggestions on how he should be costumed. i have an opinion.

hear me out.

minus the bowl cut and glasses (and perhaps still subbing the vest for a cardigan sometimes) i think this is close enough to what he wears but better (no skinny jeans, more permutations of his uniform due to addition of sweatervest)

i think theres smth interesting in the fact that the creature is still upholding to the bonds of servitude being made implies (albeit conditional on the reciprocity of acknowledgement of that bond), in the context of this quote

like, the fact that the relationship is effectively severed once frankenstein is unable to deliver the eve onto his adam. which implies that the creature is offering an opportunity to rectify the error in painting him as the lucifer instead of the adam, but frankenstein is the one who will fail in that regard.

idk i just find really interesting how the creature is actigely engaging with paradise lost as a means to express his existence, which is doubly underlined by the fact that his language is modeled on the tone of the book. etcetc he cannot escape the tragedy of the frame of paradise lost
