my fundamental point of divergence from a lot of cordelia fans is that i like that cordelia died and i think that was a good ending for her character. ats was never going to have a happy ending -- angel is a classic tragic hero & cordelia is essentially a humanist answer to a saint/christ figure narrative. it's nice to imagine cordelia standing by angel in the final fight but the truth is that was never her role; her story was about accepting her gift of prophecy from the ptb and using that gift to further the mission even as it killed her, until she became so righteous she replaced the fallen god who had tried to replace her. i have critiques of the way s4 denies cordelia her voice and the way so much of s5 seems allergic to mentioning her name, but i truly don't see another ending for her besides dying & ascending to become a higher being. it's not the happiest ending but it is the truest one, and, well -- tact is just not saying true stuff, after all.
Some attempts at a design for Selena :3. The second image is inspired by the wedding in Haunted Castle, but I changed Simon’s outfit cause idk I just can’t picture him being comfortable in a suit.
The last two of these are way more headcanon-y lol. They’re under a cut mostly in case my headcanons and story ideas change d(^^ ). One of them was inspired by a Kikuo song I was listening to while drawing lol, the song “Let’s Go to Heaven”.
People who won't listen to songs longer than like 4 minutes disturb me. Who think something as short as 6 minutes is excessively long. You would die in fright at some of the music I listen to on a daily basis
