i entered into a fugue state and suddenly an hour and 36 minutes passed

February 28th, 2024, Hello From The Hallowoods goes back on the air.

Which means you have about four months to listen in, get caught up, theorize with other fans, and join initiatives like the @podcast-bookclub's Hallowoods listen-through!

ok yall i was relistening HFTH 140 and had an idea for a big ol' fan project (maybe an animation? or just a long comic?)

so in 140, right before the end, theres the recap of loads of different characters/storylines (pictured in the transcript below). 34-36 of them, depending on how you split it.

so, my idea is for everyone to take a couple (amount depends on how many join in) and draw the little snapshot scene

this would be so much work but i think we could do it.

Wanted to do a scene that stuck with me very closely <3

Decided to make another entry for the @hellofromthehallowoods recap! Not as detailed as my other hfth art, but I just listened to ep64 today and this whole section was really sweet >:]

I made a post for the HFTH recap!! After almost a month, I finished it! The scene I drew is from Episode 94! The second drawing is from the background of the first and is a painting of the Resting Place Hotel! [ID of first image: A digital drawing of Mort and Yaretzi from Hello From the Hallowoods. I desperately need to catch up on hfth, I haven't listened to anything from the recap to the most recent update

For my illustrator class we had to do a Firewatch style wallpaper - naturally I did the Hallowoods

Not me finding out about this recap event and having to draw one of my fav scenes. (Golly! Why I’m I always so late to the game on cool things like this. TvT)

Im still listening to hfth from the start so i wont be listening to new episodes as they come out, im fine with spoilers but I also want to experience the series from the beginning properly and not watch Mx. Wellmans recap vid.

Guess Who's Back?

Well, dreamers, this is it. 

A huge and heartfelt thank you to the patrons who have steadfastly stuck by the show over these quiet months. Truth be told, I was bracing myself to lose most of our support during this time that we've been off the air, and that we haven't lost ground at all is incredible. Thank you so much for tiding the Hallowoods through the break and keeping the recording studio lights on and the inkwell full. 

Tomorrow, Hello From The Hallowoods returns for 30 more episodes over the summer - and not our last by far; the plan is to return to our usual Halloween season premieres this year, so you will have weeks to wait between this season and the next. The break has been vital for accomplishing work on some HFTH spinoff projects, including continued work on One Hundred Eyes In The Dark, our first tie-in novel, as well as plotting out content to come. 

Going forward, we're back to our usual - new episodes every Wednesday, new bonus stories in Patreon, new Skull Sessions rolling out every 1-2 months, and resuming our weekly Q&A streams. Thank you for waiting. It's good to be back in these woods.

Can we get any updates on the recap video? No pressure I understand over 100 episodes of plot must be a nightmare to summarize I’m just so excited to see all the art that was included!

It is coming and within the next few weeks! It’s possible that it and its audio equivalent will drop the week before HFTH S4 returns. ✨

I remember you mentioned somewhere that you were thinking about making hfth tarot cards for the hiatus. I am assuming that there wasn't the time and/or motivation to do this project, but are they still a possible merch idea for the future?

Let's just say I found a really neat way to do this, but yes, ran out of production time, with My Love From the Moormire, the recap video, novel edits, and the next season production taking some priority! But it is still in the development barrel and tumbling until it is smooth rocks.
