Qubolds

A race of blocky reptilians who are descendants of Hexdragons. They are attuned with psyonics that’s looks like a bunch of square holograms.

They don’t get any taller than a meter. With very durable bodies, they are known to survive falling from tall buildings and sharp objects, which explains why most of their weapons are blunt type. (Qubolds fight their own kind) Because they are so hardy, their long life expectancy has led to overcrowding of their cities. When Qubolds die, their bodies decompose into cubes, which can be used for crafting or building.

Their names generally start Qui (Pronounced “kee”) because their culture’s lucky numbers are 5 and 15. Qubolds live in a rather modern era, with rival gangs fighting over living spaces. Some become nomads to get away from it.

Quibert is a scientist studying the connection between psychic and magical powers. He’s always nervous because many scoff at his research. His tome contains his findings and he uses it to defend himself.

Quila is Quibert’s wife, she gives supplies to many people in need, preferring not to resort to violence. She mostly uses her sledge hammer to break through buildings in order to save people.

Quiver is the leader of a gang. She believes that forcing the city to expand its boundaries will solve the population problem. She uses her bow and arrows to incapacitate foes. The arrows and bowstring are capable cutting through steel, so she wears protective gloves when she uses them.

Quitter is Quiver’s brother. He just likes beating people up, especially with his knuckledusters.

Quiness is an assassin of a rival gang to Quiver’s. She eliminates gang leaders to keep boundaries under her gang’s control. She’s one of the few Qubolds who actually has a gun.

Quid is Quiness’ father. He believes that killing is a more efficient method of controlling the population. His briefcase is extremely heavy, with one blow capable of shattering concrete.

Quiche is a young lad who is eager to pursue a nomadic life. He uses his psychic powers to cook food. His frying pan is also very heavy, and can easily smash someone’s head.

Quinoa is Quiche’s younger sister. She’s has more powerful psychic powers than her brother, but has the same goal as him. The spatula she wields is as good as any sword.

Quiet is Quiche and Quinoa’s grandfather. He used to be friends with Quid, but decided to cut him loose. He raised his grandchildren in hopes of them finding a better way of life. His cane can actually be used as a rifle, too.

Quincy is Quibert and Quila’s baby boy. He’s not easy to scare and is really curious. His rattler gives him great protection and can be used as a small mace.
