sometimes i think romance is simply a confusion of base normal bodily sexual need for release (like the body craves food, water, sleep) and the sophomoric desperation to be ratified by another person as much as one thinks one deserves. i think romance is a kind of mutation of that, borne out of our higher intellect.

-- on the contrary... i think romance can exist in many forms, and romantic romance is only one kind (and likely the most shallow and ephemeral). if that makes sense? i think the greatest pop culture "romances" out there, like for instance, johnny cash and june carter cash, are not romantic romances, but platonic romances.

like it's possible for a romantic romance to evolve into something else better over time, but it's rare.

tbh im fine single or not! but i dont want to say no incase i end up having a really cool friendship/whatver with him, but then i dont want to say yes in case he's a douche :P i think i'll give it a go just to see what happens but try not to expect anything :)

HI BUDDY!!! well first of all i LOVE ur sidebar!!! second of all, i came here to thank you for your BEAUTIFUL scott edit /post/96476869509/you-cannot-go-back-to-them-just-accept-that i am gonna try to make him my icon tonight c: i just. ugh. i read your comments and i LOVE your meta and i just finished s1 like an hour ago and i always liked scott and how he KNOWS what he wants and he STRIVES towards it (outspoken) and i almost cried when he got changed and then his dad wanted to kill him and

and thank you for the compliment!! I LOVE SCOTT. He is one of my favorite FDTD characters and I think he gets way way less attention than he deserves (in favor of Kate who has a high chance of being used misogynistically and sexistly as “the moral compass” of the show, blah blah ignorant small town white girl trope extraordinaire). She has potential with the right writing and was a fine character in S1, but I’m wary about her in S2, and I’m just not sure why people are so drawn to her when you have Scott right there? And I’m afraid the narrative will again focus more on her rather than Scott in S2.

Scott has so much complexity and so much depth, there is so much to learn about him and he has such an interesting choice of avenues before him — will we see him side with Narciso or Carlos (as he denied in S1), will he grudingly work with Richie to escape the culebras, will he end up falling for Santanico’s masterful manipulation tactics? Will he reunite with his sister, will he end up becoming a lone ranger? Will he ever made his father proud AND ALSO become who he wants to be and settle his internal agony?

I JUST NEED MORE SCOTT OK COME TO ME WITH ALL YOUR SCOTT FEELS I AM HERE I have another Scott graphic on my list (alongside a geckobro graphic, a carlos, and a vanessa) don’t worry!
