Hell’s Paradise

I am a compulsive manga reader. Yeeah, for the little story, it's been more than one year that I have the Hell's Paradise trailer in my Utube likes list (well, as soon as it is released). However, I told myself : "Humm, just wait for the anime adaptation... Ohh made by ✨MAPPA Studio✨ uh! We'll have a unspeakable animation ! I should just wait for it."

It is the reason why, I just finished reading the scans after watching the first episode 4 times and the next one twice. Yeep, I know, I know ! Patience is not my second name. Please tell me I'm not the only one. Have mercy.

Generally, I am attracted by all potential manga e.g the hours of viewing of Jujutsu kaisen's first season.

For the case of Hell's Paradise, I read first of all the one-shot which is EX-CELLENT. 💖 Thanks to « Jigokuraku Side Story : Forest of Misfortune », I immediately understand the author's touch. And sincerely, go ahead ! Especially if you can't wait like me or if you're simply curious. It allows us to prepare us to the cradle of humanity that is Hell's Paradise.

Not too long. Nor too short. Whether it is the original wor or the one-shot, all are well-balanced, with some humour touch but above all magnificent soul-searching.

It is all the reason why I really appreciate this story : I give it a 4 ⭐ rating. A special note for the charcaters developpement, one for the truthfulness (veracity) and the consistency of the tale, a other one for the general dynamics of arcs, and the last one by the way it touches me by its protagonists originality even in its one-shot.

*Note to my readers* this is a score out of 5 : 5 ⭐ being achieved when the anime adaptation and the opening/ending music are of quality. And thanks to MAPPA we will eat Gucci.

Ultimalely, the fact that I heard about Hell's Paradise so late does not prevent the other fact that this anime adaptation will bring it the light it derserves for ✨an accomplished✨ artwork. A smart Seinen which focused on the differents ways of loves deserves only Glory !!!

She is a samurai and a retainer for the Kozuki Family, serving as one of the Nine Red Scabbards, a group of samurai that protect the Kozuki family and their country. She's a very skillful samurai, and she and her group managed to delay and hold off the main villain of the arc, (which was an almost insurmountable task for even the main character) and survived the experience despite her horrible injuries; She's canonically and openly trans! And she's gorgeous. And huge... She's 287 cm tall, which for the USAmericans in the audience is 9' 5". She's simply the coolest.

She’s a samurai and fights with a sword; tall trans woman <3

Legendary devoted samurai!; She's 2.87m tall, a time traveler, and not even losing an arm in the middle of the fight stopped her- she had it imediately cauterized and went back to the fight.

She’s an executioner and fights exclusively with her sword! She’s a master Swordswoman (the wording used in her Wikipedia description) and beheads and cuts through multiple of the antagonists.; [[Hell’s Paradise is a manga series about a group of criminals sentenced to the death penalty who are sent to an island with professional executioners who are there to monitor them, in order to find a elixir of immortality. The one who comes back from the island with the elixir will get a pardon for their death sentence from the emperor of Japan. That isn’t as easy as it seems though, because the island is populated by monsters and hostile immortals who aren’t just going to let them go. The main characters are Sagiri, the only ranked female executioner of her family, and Gabimaru, the criminal she monitors, who is a ninja who tried to quit his village to live a normal life with his wife but was betrayed by the village chief and delivered to the authorities]] I love her a lot :) at the beginning she struggles with her doubts, but as the series progresses she learns to keep a balance and the very doubts that were tying her down become her strength. She is kind. She is strong. I am a bit gay for her.

Trained to be a sword-tester all her life and master the art of execution, uses a katana and slices through things with deft precision. Her sword is integral to her character; She forces a wifeguy to keep his hands tied because those are the rules even when the world is trying to kill the both of them. Also she's got really good faces.
