I have an unpopular opinion that unlike most ppl I dont think it's know in industry that louis is gay and he is with harry. Few might suspect it but I don't think it's a well know fact. especially post hiatus and babygate. I think any closet which includes babygate is an iron closet and not a glass one like Harry's. Also louis stunting with Sofie when he coincidentally had to attend some parties in LA makes me think his stunts are also meant for industry. Like el used to be at x-factor shootings. and that's why I feel he loves touring so much. except the one la show that's the only part of his job where he is completely free without any bullshit attached.

Hi! It depends on which part of the industry i guess. During 1D HL was all over each other backstage. They knew it would be kept within the industry because of NDAs and a code of silence. Industry people want to keep their jobs and they know all about fakery, hinding the gay, twisted image protrayals and PR stunts. The industy is very gossipy within the industry, and there are several 'worst kept secrets' everyone knows about. I don't think HL hides within the industry.

The Sofie stunt was so quick and i think it served two purposes (1) to confirm the end of elounor (2) to promote his documentary. I don't think Louis is stunting for the industry to believe it. What is he gaining from that? E being at txf was to show that their relationship was organic. There were hundreds of fans present. People used that argument all the time 'she/he wouldn't be there if it wasn't real'. ie. when she went to jays wedding or when louis went to her graduation. There were just so many people who didn’t buy it that they had to stunt on occations like that for it to seem somewhat believable.

one thing i’ve noticed since 2020 till now it’s that for both of them, people here are thinking that just because it has been past ten years suddenly they all have a say to navigate the closet in the best way which is something that you’d literally never know that’s stuff in contracts and i remember when holivia got messier and people were blaming harry too and then louis left syco and he was seen writing and bmg and all that and then bg stuff started to come back and they started blaming him and saying he’s gaslighting us idk plus all the ‘gaslighting’ he apparently does by not giving credit to fans for getting all the clues that’s another topic 😭 but yeah point is idk how you after being so many years in this or if you’re new to it like me maybe you’d be more annoyed or tbh idk each to their own but yeah it’s bizarre how suddenly bc it’s been years then it’s their fault and they want this and are doing it to ‘keep both sides of fandom happy’ and not just bc of the heteronormative homophobic society/industry 🤷🏻‍♀️ suddenly they forgot all the decade of queer coding they did and continue to do

people in fandoms built around non-fictional people confuse real life’s hardships with a tv show that occasionally does fan service. we are not owed ANYTHING from them just because we still choose to be active in this hellhole. and this is something i too have to remind myself often. im not here to get a standing ovation or a shoutout from them when this is over. i do believe they try and show us they appreciate our presence every now and then but dude after a decade this might not be so high on their priority list - understandably. that doesn’t mean they gave up on their goals to be free - we literally have no idea what they agreed to do first in order to make that happen.

it’s sad to see how their queercoding lost its value to so many in the fandom here. when to this day it’s all they have to communicate with?? i know i make fun of bluegreening and half the time it’s probably not meant to signal anything but the fact that they still put effort into seeking out ways to wear these two fucking colors for US essentially only for people to have witty comments like “how about ending babygate” is just sad. you think they share a piece of raisin bran for a brain? and they just forgot about everything that has them chained to the closet because it’s oh so much fun to use a kid as a prop and have a different white trash beard every year?

Louis added a couple of photos to his YouTube community, which he’s last done to have us find hidden song titles in them, and it took a while for us to catch on bc we were just drooling over the content lol. So not sure why he’s posting that now… it’s an established signalling channel (for promo), so not sure why.

The last time he was in Mexico privately, beginning 2021 I think, we got the arcade photos of him with Freddie after, and when he was in Mexico during tour, he was wearing a lot of his babygate closet, like the yellow sunglasses, the Sgt. Pepper shirt he’s worn for stunting, and the lyrics are interesting

He wore a lot of Lacoste in Mexico too (baby-gator?)

About deuxmoi, I’m not sure. Correction here as well, the first blind item was from 2021ish, not 2016. But it is quite interesting that both have the pseudonym Billie Jean.

And now Louis is flying back to presumably LA sporting his babygate sunglasses again and Trackies with 1977 (7 is a stunt signal imo!)

I am afraid to ask, but... what... what is babygate

boy oh boy

okay. for background information, this is about the former boyband known as 1 direction. it had five dudes in it, so obviously women shipped these dudes five ways 'til sunday. among those, as well know, the most popular became harry/louis, or larry as it goes. why? well, harry was a bit fruity, and i guess he interacted the most with louis, so that happened.

now, these girls, they didn't just ship them. they were convinced these boys were both gay and were secretly together (nowadays, insist they are secretly married), but that they COULDN'T come out, because "management" and the all-powerful entity known as "Simon Cowell" of X-Factor fame would not allow it. Simon, it seemed, had a specific bone to pick with Louis, and he decided to dedicate time and resource to make this boring, mediocre white boy's life a living hell

but that's for later.

eventually zayn saw the writing on the wall and decided to quit the band. not long thereafter, the band broke up. i THINK it was after the band broke up, but i might be wrong, but anyway; louis broke up with his then-girlfriend (who these girls were convinced was a fake-dating scenario), and then he went out with this other girl a few times and... well, he got her pregnant

now, instead of just considering that maybe this guy is straight (as he has stated to be several times) or maybe bisexual, they could not conceive the fact that Louis and Harry were not together, or worse, that Louis has having sex with...a girl?! unfathomable. so instead they decided that, actually, this was a ploy by The Evil Management to keep Louis closeted so as to keep his career safe.

(bear in mind this guy is like. a z-list singer. d-list at most. he and liam are competing to be at the bottom of the least interesting member of 1d.)

so after the pregnancy stuff came out, they were like "this is fake. any day now she (the girl who got knocked up) will announce she had a miscarriage". when she started showing signs, they scouted the internet for any picture of her to prove she was wearing a fake pregnant belly. then it wasn't a real baby, it was a doll; if not that, louis wasn't the father, it was his friend or some random (even though apparently they got their hands on the kid's birth certificate and louis' name was right there). and currently the narrative is that the boy is either a hired actor OR it's someone else's kid they are using for....? some reason? because The Evil Management is trying to keep poor sweet louis closeted, even though he doesn't work for them anymore?

bear in mind that "thinking his baby is fake" is simply the tip of the yikesberg. these women actively harrassed louis' DYING MOTHER on her last days over this fake baby bullshit. both these guys went on record saying that this obsession with them being together actively pushed them to stop hanging out so people wouldn't read every action they take as some hint of something (they still do anyway). these girls actively believed that an instagram account of two bears wearing bdsm gear (which apparently were in a 1d show) actually belonged to either louis or harry or both and that the account was sending them secret messages about the fake baby; that every time one of the boys wore blue or green, it was a "code" for them, and that louis posted strategic selfies to "warn" them of "the narrative"

and they are still going to this day

Hello anon! Probably because you were not around when Louis came out as a straight man and it was a fucking nightmare.

It’s interesting how things are always changing like that. Listen… Louis was the gay one, his sexuality was always a huge topic for years. And then when he tweeted that thing, it got a hundred times worse. But eventually people probably got tired of it, we got bigger problems like babygate. And now in his solo career most of his fanbase understands his lyrics, his queer coding, so even if they don’t think he’s actually queer, people are actually allies and just fine with it. However, things with Harry are pretty different. First of all, he’s huge right now, his fanbase is massive. And he became more and more ambiguous about his sexuality over the years, he plays with gender, he waves pride flags. Plus while Louis’ fans don’t really care that much about his sexuality, Harry’s fans rely on his sexualized image a lot. Since one direction, Harry’s image was always very much focused on him being the flirty one, the womanizer one, so this became incredibly profitable, and even more now as a solo artist. I mean, six years ago no one could possibly imagine people would be fine with rainbows on Louis’ concert and not on Harry’s *night changes fading in the background*

I am quite new to your blog, and I had a question about some stuff. Do you think the reason why Louis is talking about Freddie/babygate is because it's ending? And if so, what makes you think it's different this time compared to the previous times? Finally, when do you think it might end, begore or after LT2 and/or the documentary?

Hii! Not to post an UO, but I’ve been here for so long and through so many waves of this stunt that right now I don’t really think it’s ending anytime soon, although I’ll be happy if I’m wrong. Promo-wise it would kinda make sense for them to do it around LT2 or around the documentary to get people talking (contrary to the kid mentions which do not get people talking but rather put them off), but I’m not seeing enough indications to say yes, it’s ending. I think Louis may have gotten himself a deal that’s the opposite to what Harry is doing - he’s going to talk about the stunts and they’re going to use the implied associations (eg Danielle recently) but there’s nothing to indicate that he’s going to get papped with F or a gf (it doesn’t seem that Eleanor is going to get back in the picture and i think a break up us one thing they may eventually announce) or do any stunting like that, while Harry talks about the stunts in a very vague way, never called O his gf but is seen and papped with her constantly. What we’re seeing with Louis seems to have been in the works for quite some time, getting public the material that he’s now using for his mentions (e.g. Christmas) so i think there’s a plan of some kind and this is not just him deciding to mention F all the time, there’s a reason he’s doing it. Right now, I’m considering the fact that this is happening to such a degree right now to enable him to be as creatively and artistically authentic as possible, which as to an artist would be most important to him and this may be the price he pays for that - from what we’ve seen and heard already that album is going to be heavily queer-coded, and a lot of us seem to think that HO was at least partially the price Harry had to pay for doing MP and I think the stunting on Louis’ part may now be intensified by the nature of his album. I also think there’s a possibility some counterbalancing even on Louis’ part of mp is happening since people really will be seeing larry a lot with all the comparisons and stuff, and this kind of balancing each other out in situations where larry rumours resurfaced has always been happening. I’m also wondering about the preexisting obligations and why this is done through babygate and not a gf, what contracts Louis still has and whatnot and I don’t have any clear answers and anyone here who pretends to have them is lying - we are all just looking at this weird ass situation and guessing, and we have no idea what deals he has made, what choices were on the table, what’s happening behind the closed doors. So all that I can offer is a series of factors I think may be playing a role right now, and if it does lead to it ending, if this is really them making sure it’s going to be loud, then I’ll be happy, but right now I’m not really holding my breath, checkered clothes or not.

Which tags should I search for to see important things that happened during 1D tours Between Harry and Louis (i mean Fights, tension, moments, joys)

Hi honey. I’m really not the best person for this kind of thing because my tags are rather inconsistent. But you can search LARRY MOMENTS (or by year 2012 LARRY MOMENTS, 2015 LARRY MOMENTS etc). Those are mainly going to be moments that indicate their relationship with each other. You can do the same with LARRY RECEIPTS which is rumors of them together (also tagged by year). I’m revamping my tag for THEY NEVER BROKE UP and THEY’RE STILL TOGETHER, so there’s probably not a lot, but you can look.

You can also try GAY INNUENDO and HE’S GAY PETRA for moments of… them being really gay. Beyond that, maybe try BABY BOYFRIENDS. CODED CLOTHING is an interesting tag to look through. As is SIGNALING (although it’s fairly new, so maybe not very full).

Beards are likely all listed by their ship name (H*YLOR, HADINE, HAIGE, HENDALL etc.), although occasionally by the woman’s name because it really wasn’t much of anything (SARA SAMPAIO, for example). Louis and Eleanor would be ELOUNOR or ELOUNOPE (for the second go round). Louis and Danielle is under DOUIS. Anything involving Briana or that fiasco would just be under BABYGATE.

Any posts of their bands are listed under HARRY’S BAND, CHASM (Harry’s band in 2017/18), LOUIS’ BAND, or the members’ names (ISAAC ANDERSON, PAULI LOVEJOY etc).

The party was strictly kook. You had gone to Neptune 09er’s lengths to ensure that the “coded” party message that you sent out to ‘kooks only’ made it clear that there were no pogues allowed at this most elite summer celebration. But nothing could keep away the Outer Banks’ most notorious rabble rousers. It shouldn’t have been a surprise to anyone that pogues crashed the party, or even that they found the party. Walking passed your house was enough indication that there was something going on. If Scarlett wasn’t practically dating one of Peterkin’s deputies, she the whole thing would’ve been shut down. But it never was and the pogue crowd always showed up.

And maybe it would’ve been fine except the blond one couldn’t keep his mouth shut and Rafe was equal parts dick, especially when he was drunk. You weren’t even sure what had started the fight. You were in the kitchen with Sarah, who was ostracized, blamed for inviting the pogues that showed up, and generally ignored by other kooks at the party, when Scarlett came in, fuming.

“I swear to god!” Scarlett cursed, grabbing a bottle off the counter, “these pogue losers are such fucking...” she groaned.

“What?” You asked, looking over at her. It was only then you realized the wealth of people who had started to congregate near the back door. As if something was drawing them there. Behind the thumping of the stereo in the living room you could hear it. The sound of shouting. “What is that?”

“That fucking dumbass friend of your boyfriend’s!” Scarlett said, directing her comment at Sarah.

“What?” Sarah headed toward the crowd and you followed, pushing through people only to be let out into the backyard. There by the pool, Rafe was shouting at JJ, cursing him out, threatening him. They’d get close enough to shove the other but not anything more serious than that. “Rafe!” Sarah shouted, catching her brother’s attention.

He turned to look at her and JJ took the opportunity to tackle him, knocking both of them into the water. Rafe surfaced first, grabbing JJ’s shoulders and shoving him under the water, clearly prepared to drown the pogue.

“Topper!” You yelled, catching his attention, “get your fucking friend!”

Some of the other pogues were at the water’s edge, trying to reach them without actually going into the pool, a strategy that obviously wasn’t working. Topper got in, grabbing Rafe and pulling him back enough that he released JJ, the other boy practically unconscious as he floated in the water. Years of life guarding at the Island Club’s indoor pool had afforded you the ability to know CPR like the back of your hand and you ran over to help as two guys pulled him out of the water.

“Move,” you insisted, pushing your way through people and falling to your knees beside him. You leaned over JJ, pressing your ear to his chest for a moment before laying your hands over him.

“You know CPR?” One of his friends asked, hovering your space as you counted out compressions.

“Yes.”

You apologized to the guy, Pope as you later learned, for snapping once JJ had sputtered out the water he swallowed, throwing himself forward and laying his head back down on your lap, pressing the side of his face into your thigh. You brushed hair off his forehead out of instinct, trying to cradle him against you too.

“Are you okay?” Pope asked, helping JJ to sit up. You patted his back gently, moving around so you were on the other side of him.

“Do you wanna go inside?” You asked. The crowd of pogues and kooks standing around watching hadn’t dispersed, hovering around trying to gauge if JJ was alright. Pope glanced around as Kiara came through the crowd to help. A little too late but she still weaseled her way in between you and JJ, helping him to his feet.

“That would be good.” Pope said, wrapping his arm around JJ while Kiara stayed on his other side, helping him walk into the house with you. You could hear Pope telling JJ that they were taking him inside.

The downstairs was mostly crowded so you led them upstairs, JJ managing by himself, pushing Kiara and Pope away when they tried to help him. “I’ve got it.” He insisted.

“My room is right here.” You said, letting JJ pass you into the room, his wet footprints tracking across the wooden floor. Kiara hovered in the door while Pope went in after him.

“Thanks,” Kiara finally said, somewhat awkward. To be fair, the two of you weren’t friends and you had spent the better part of the school year ignoring her for the likes of other kooks closer to your own tax bracket.

“I’ll get a change of clothes?” You offered, not sure what to do now that JJ was in your room, just standing there in the middle of the room, soaking wet. You crossed the hall to your parents’ room, grabbing a pair of sweatpants and one of your dad’s old college shirts. When you came back into your room JJ was standing in the same place, a cut on his forehead, just above his eyebrow, bleeding. He kept wiping at it as if that would stop the bleeding. You held the clothes out for him, “here. There’s a bathroom right there.”

“Gotta love the kook life.” JJ muttered, grabbing the clothes and heading for the bathroom.

“Glad your recovered enough to be an asshole.” You snapped back.

“Hey,” JJ turned around at the door, glaring at you, “I didn’t ask to get fucking drowned by your douche bag friend.”

“I didn’t invite you to this party!” You said.

“Guys!” Pope snapped, stepping in between the two of you, “just...JJ go get changed.”

“I’m gonna grab some water bottles,” Kiara announced once JJ was in the bathroom, “might help sober him up.” She gave Pope a pointed look and he nodded.

“I’ll go with you.”

“Oh cool, just leave me here.” You replied, sitting down on your bed and rolling your eyes. Neither of them said anything, just headed out of the room and down the stairs to grab water bottles from the fridge.

You stayed there until JJ finally came out, drying off his hair with a towel. “I left my clothes on the sink...”

“I’ll throw them in the dryer.” You shrugged, “Look I know we don’t know each other that well but I’m still worried about you. Are you sure you’re okay?”

“I’m fine.” JJ replied, tossing the towel in your hamper.

“You gotta have a death wish.”

“What?” He asked, looking over at you.

“Rafe’s fucking psychotic JJ, he would’ve killed you, ya know?” You pointed out, “if he didn’t show up uninvited to every party I wouldn’t have anything to do with him.”

“Yeah.”

“Don’t say ‘yeah’ like you don’t believe me.” You said, “you don’t know me.”

“And yet you’re so concerned.”

“I am concerned!” You huffed, crossing your arms and looking away from him. “You almost fucking died out there...I literally did CPR on you and you’re gonna bitch at me? Look, I’m just trying to make sure that you’re okay.”

JJ shrugged, sitting down in your desk chair and spinning it around once before facing you again. He had come to the party with everyone after he heard Sarah mention it to Kiara. It would’ve been fine, they got in unnoticed and mingled with some kooks without any trouble at all, but JJ was still fuming from a fight with his father and had, admittedly, being looking for a reason to pick a fight or get blacked-out. He saw Rafe and it was like the answer to his prayers. He started the fight and when Rafe tackled him into the pool and he hit his head on the side he’d honestly been happy to just let himself get wailed on, the older Cameron could’ve drowned him and he would’ve been thrilled.

“Your still bleeding.” You noticed, getting up from your bed and going into the bathroom, grabbing the first aid kit from the cabinet.

He said nothing as you cleared some books off your stool and pulled it over so that you could sit in front of him, opening the kit on your lap and pulling things out. JJ sat still, tensing when you touched his face, pushing still wet hair out of his face so that you could clean out the wound and bandage it. You weren’t sure if JJ had sobered up at all or if he was still somewhat drunk, if he’d been drunk at all or just out of his mind. Either way, you could imagine him walking back down into that party.

“This might sound crazy but, if I asked you to stay, would you?” You asked, pressing the bandage over his cut.

“Why?”

“Cause I honestly don’t think you should be alone right now.” You replied, “but what do I know?”

JJ frowned, biting on his tongue, “did Kie and Pope go back downstairs?”

“Yeah.”

He nodded, they were at the edge of their patience and he knew that. They’d been putting up with and taking care of his reckless behavior for the last few months if not years. They probably left altogether or at least were staying downstairs so they didn’t have to take care of this. “You don’t want to deal with this.” JJ replied, an offering of an out to you.

“Let me decide that?”

very true, anon! usually i'd be wary to believe that louis would so directly warn of the end of babygate as to hint a countdown which is why i was emphasizing possible new music yesterday. but i believe he could and would if there was another obvious alternate meaning such as the Nikola Tesla quote about 369, manifestation, etc.

the art on louis' 369 drop is obviously interconnected to whatever he is trying to communicate with that number. the symbolic imagery is powerful: the child on a ladder (erasing the smiley face), the shattered and broken glass (broken beaks and dead birds, can't get through the glass), a possible target(?), endless doors and archways, etc. which leads me to believe that we are not only considering new music in relation to the mysterious 369. to me, the broken glass is a clear analogy for the things that have had him trapped (whether that be closeting, stunts, career sabotage, or all three).

speculating feels dangerous right now, as it likely has felt since 2016, because hope has not been kind to this fandom. however, i don't want to ignore some of the clear signs louis has been giving us. like the skull, triangle, and laurels cap that has been making regular appearances over the last few months. this one:

i think this cap is important and believe louis has been wearing it so often purposefully and for specific reason. and i'm leaning towards that reason being related to babygate in some way because of louis' use of skulls in the past to communicate about babygate through coded clothing. the laurels worn as a victory crown feels like a subversion of the typical skull as bad news coding. that combined with the classic upside down triangle leads me to think this is communicating good things! this cap being very strategically worn in close conjunction with the merch drop leads me to think that 369 has a hell of a lot more to it than just new music.

even if 369 is not a day count at all (that is a stretch, after all) for either new music, an announcement, or movement with the stunts, i still have hope based on what we've seen thus far. this very well might be foolish but i've still got it.

and although harry and louis are two separate people and i shy away from rhetoric that ties everything they do to the other, making their careers overly codependent.... it is logical to have harry wrapped up in a stunt believed by the gp and geographically far away from louis, if they are going to end something as big as babygate to minimize added speculation for an already drama-filled reveal.

this is your local guide to the larry fandom’s terminologies, phrases and some inside jokes. please let me know if anything is missing!

GP- general public. refers to the people who are not in the fandom. stunts are generally designed so that the GP starts paying more attention. they are also the ones who are meant to be fooled with the stunts, and are mostly fooled.

babygate- babygate is a -gate. which means that it’s a scam. used to refer to louis’ fake baby, “freddie reign tomlinson.”

*** ** - “end it” but censored. refers to ending babygate. the fandom started using it in this form as a sort of.. coding?

CO- coming out. when will larry come out? will they come out?

aimh- always in my heart. louis’ love declaration to harry. the aimh tweet was the first one he signed his name on, and the second was the leaving syco announcement.

lhh- long haired harry. harry’s long hair phase in 2015.

prince hair harry- around 2014 harry’s hairstyle era.

tou- two of us. louis’ song dedicated to jay, his mum.

wmi- we made it. louis’ single off of walls.

uan- up all night. one direction’s first album. generally used to refer to the up all night tour.

tmh- take me home. one direction’s second album. generally used to refer to the take me home tour.

wwa- where we are tour. one direction’s tour for their third album, midnight memories.

otra- on the road again tour. one direction’s tour for their fourth album, FOUR.

momrry- mommy harry. harry has major baby fever and this has been extensively discussed. give him a baby, goddamnit.

hoerry- hoe harry. this... refers to harry acting... like a hoe. mostly on stage in otra. there are lots of incidences of him jamming out to no control.

hs1- harry styles. harry’s self titled debut album.

hs2- fine line. harry’s second album.

lt1- walls. louis’ first album.

the bee- when louis confirmed the baby on GMA, he said he’s “buzzin”. at the time it became an inside joke that when bg ends, the fandom will get bees tattooed on them. a few months later, our very own harry styles shows up with a bee tattoo! surprise surprise, honestly.

tellmethisisnotlove- @tellmethisisnottumblisnextfuckup ‘s original blog. gabi was one of the most iconic personalities in this fandom. she made tons and tons of helpful masterposts, covering all topics of discussion. her pinned post can be found here. her blog was mass-reported by some antis for some reason and it has been deleted since around nov 2020.

freddieismyqueen- @freddiesmyqueen (ellie) was also another iconic fandom personality. she made youtube videos and edits based on larry. she was doxxed by a psychotic anti (they threatened to reveal her personal info) and she deleted her channel. her videos have been reuploaded to youtube, so you can probably find them there.
