● He finds your talent quite sweet and adorable. The only times he involved himself with fabric had gone interestingly (his mother noted the crooked sew on his slacks and asked if he needed help), but he enjoys seeing you go from conceptual designing stage to planning to action. He's just stunned you can turn a pile of fabric and stuffing into a genuine cute item. It's something he comes to adore and offer his help to you in any way.

● He actually wants to learn how to do it… For personal reasons. As much as he would love to commission you, he secretly wishes to make something for you and Emmet. His brother would adore a personally made gift, and he would like to show his love towards you and gratitude for teaching him. Ingo's creations are… not the best, but it's apparent they were made with love. The awkwardly shaped Litwick holding a heart is placed somewhere in your home, hopefully.

● When he catches you making a plush of him and his Chandelure, he was admittedly a bit flustered. Assuredly, there are better people to recreate than him? He also shuddered at the thought of making something as complicatedly shaped as his Chandelure as a plush. You sheepishly held out the prototype. You then screeched as Chandelure floated it away and disappeared off with it. Ingo couldn't hold back a laugh at his jealous pokemon's actions. You sighed and shook your head. He gazed at your Chandelure plushie softly. “Bravo, dearest!! That's sweet of you, but I must apologise for the robbery,” Ingo clapped his hands, “She's… Infatuated with anything that reminds her of me. She stole a rider's keychain once…” A small laugh escaped you.

(You stole your plushie back from her. She still has yet to forgive you.)

○ He staaaaaares. It's interesting. Emmet likes plushies, don't get him wrong, but he's never met anyone who makes them. His curiosity is piqued. Prepare yourself for questions. He wants to know and silently observe you making one. It's neat! And cute. He loves it. Soft coos and compliments of your work become a common thing. His adoration for your talent is a silent one, but anything you give to him is proudly displayed.

○ He would try to learn in his own to make something to gift to you. Emmet is not the best with his hands, he did somehow many to stab his thumb multiple times with a needle the only time he tried to fix a tear in a t-shirt he owned, but he's trying his best. Elesa is recruited into this task, but gives up after seeing his worst attempt. It was… terrifying. At some point, he finds an online guide for a Joltik and manages to make one for you. It's scary how well it's made. (He would never ruin a Joltik.)

○ He doesn't say a word as he watches you add the finishing touches onto a plush of him. An Eelektross plush laid nearby. Emmet gave a big grin as he released his starter. The electric type blinked his eyes a few times before floating over to you to see the plush. You jumped at the sudden eel intrusion and turn to spot your boyfriend in the doorway. “Verrry cute! I love them! Heehee, I don't think I've ever seen anyone make an Eelektross plush,” his grin was big as he stepped in, “Mmm… It seems Eelmmet likes me more.” You turned around to see the giant eel cuddling the small Emmet plush. It was hard to not just give it to him then and there.

(Eelektross politely returned it after Emmet asked him to. The eel then hugged you.)

their game characterization! i admittedly havent actually read the manga or watched the anime, but i've seen enough screengrabs i’m sure my answer would be the same.

bw/bw2 is just muppet man distillate to me… i love their lines soooooo much, i love that they speak stiffly and strangely in their own ways and i love that their official art from back then makes it look like they pretty much do not emote at all. and you can interpret them in so many different ways! some people hc them as neurodivergent, some dial up the strangeness factor and portray them as almost uncanny, i've even seen some draw them as being nonhuman in some way... they’re just so versatile, it's fun… :>

for ingo, chandelure. it's the pokemon i associate with him the most, but more than that i think it's telling that he remembers it out of all of his partners in PLA? im tempted to think that litwick was his first pokemon, and while it's probably not a very social evolutionary line, the two have a very very close bond. (i think the second closest would be haxorus though… it's this scary intimidating pokemon but its pokedex entries say it's kindhearted? ingo is also a little intimidating on the surface level but he has a good and sweet heart… it's so cute to me!!!)

for emmet, i'd actually say archeops! i hc fossil pokemon as being high maintenance and VERY undomesticated since, well, they're prehistoric! so archeops is this huge loud rowdy bird who needs a special diet and a LOT(!) of engagement and emmet must have really really really wanted one to be willing to take on the responsibility of caring for a fossil pokemon. there is an aged framed photo of archen somewhere in their apartment i know it to be true

Both have a tiny tattoo of the other twins starter on their non-dominant hand: Ingo has a tiny joltik on his left wrist, Emmet has a tiny litwick on his right wrist. They wanted to live near each other but not directly with each other, they bought a house that had been made into a duplex. they share the porches and yard, but each has their own personal space. used to share an apartment in their early 20′s. Honeybun the Galvantula - His eelektross likes to curl up on his bed at night, he commonly wakes up with her curled up partially on him and his legs very asleep still.

● His pokemon knew how Ingo felt about. They were no fools and understood how to observe their trainer's feelings. Chandelure noticing the fastest, having been at his side since he was a child. The luring pokemon watched as his cheeks grew red and his phrases rambling around you. You had truly captured his heart. They knew there was nothing that they could do to force his hand, but they certainly wanted to get a head start on a relationship with you, at least.

● Chandelure allows you to pet her and sings pretty songs for you. She even tries to hypnotise you to confess your feelings to Ingo, but you manage to resist her attempts. You enjoy the feeling of her warmed, ethereal glass to your skin as she lets out a beautiful melody. Even her flames don't burn you realise. You coo at her about how Ingo resembles her. The ghost type becomes a bit flustered.

● Excadrill makes happy grunts as you brush his hair. He believes you'll make a great mate for his owner if you can do this for him. You help get the dust and debris from his fur and make him feel much lighter. He demands to sit in your lap and whines if he can't. Ingo fails to locate his Excadrill and finds the pokemon sitting with you while you wait for a train. His heart rushes as the sight.

● Crustle chirps after you and follows you through the station. The bug type demands your attention and attempts to block your path if he doesn't get it. Begging eyes stare up at you until you give him a pet. Then you're followed even more because you've fallen for his trap. Now you have to give him MORE attention.

● Garbodor nervously follows you around with a light cry. They're very aware that they aren't the most pleasant sight, but they know that you make Ingo happy. The trash heap pokemon is trying to become your friend. Ingo always told them they were a cute thing, so maybe you'll feel the same. Eventually, you sneak a few berries to them, which makes them content. They dance happily before stomping off back to Ingo.

● Haxorus lets out a cry and follows you closely through the station. Now, as Ingo liked you, you were a member of their territory. Their job was to protect you and see you safely to your destination, as Ingo would. No one dares get too close to you, with the dragon type keeping a close eye on you. You thank them with a few berries and a pet. A loud cry come from them as they press up into your touch. It's a bit nerve wracking.

● Klinklang just wonders what love is, standing beside Emmet's Klinklang. They both know that you make Ingo happy, but are unsure of what to do to get you with him. You are forced to listen to harsh metal sounds as they hang around, unmoving. This torture makes you grab Ingo, so they think they're on the right path.

○ Emmet's pokemon watched as their trainer followed you around and asked you to do things with him constantly. He was attached at the hip to you. When your attention left him, the twin worked to bring it back to himself, as he desperately wanted to be on your mind. Eelektross knew that her owner was down bad, while Galvantula tried to help in her own weird way. Emmet smiled at his pokemon's attempts.

○ Eelektross is constantly near you and watching. It feels quite a bit like Emmet, especially with how she rubs up against you until you pet her. The cool, slimy feel to your flesh is a bit strange, but something you grow used to quickly. She chirps at you and even chases off anyone the tries to flirt with you. It's nice, you admit. You just wish she wouldn't attempt to eat your food in your hands. She decides you're worthy of Emmet.

○ Galvantula scuttles around you and clings to your midsection regularly. People watch as the Subway Boss's pokemon clings to you and clicks at you. Emmet often finds her attached to you and laughs about it. The electric spider can't get enough of your attention. You are a wonderful match for her dad, and she will not stop even after you're dating him.

○ Durant snaps at you before suddenly taking your pant leg into their mandibles and dragging you to Emmet. He stares at you with a kind smile while asking what's wrong. You alert him his ant is harassing you, which makes Durant hiss at you. They then refuse to let you leave until you talk to Emmet, and he stops feeling lonely. The steel type had grown annoyed by his whining and zoning out.

○ Archeops coos and caws at you, flying after you and charging at you on his feet. If he's running on his feet, you should dodge. He will tackle you. The bird sings for you while letting you pet him. He quite adores when you help him groom his soft feathers and then scratch under his chin… Wait… Wasn't he supposed to be doing something? Archeops doesn't remember. You giggle as the bird leans into your touch. He's happy like this. Emmet smiles as you handle his pokemon with ease. He'd tell you about his feelings later.

○ Haxorus does for you the same thing they do for Ingo's partner. Except, you're surrounded at every angle. Galvantula to your left, Eelektross to your right, Archeops in front of you and Haxorus behind. You're fairly certain you are the safest person in the station. Once again, you're doted in affection by Haxorus who enjoys a few berries from you as well.

○ Klinklang grinds their gears near you while you wait for a train. You already checked on them next to you to make sure they're alright, which they are. It slowly becomes worse and worse until you have to call Emmet. Emmet is excited by the new opportunity granted him and gets ready to confess. You awkwardly pat the gears while you wait for the twin.
