The largest barrier to your dreams are your thoughts . Yesterday we spent the day and night in the desert. No electricity, running water, toilet, roof, camp, or any other amenities. Just a camel, a guide and us in the open desert. . I’ve always wanted to do this. But every time I brought it up to myself, my thoughts get the best of me and I found many reasons (I’m not prepared, what if something happens, what if we get bored, etc...) to pull out. Don’t get me wrong, we were not very prepared - but we adapted. Look at that crow! I am now starting to work on straightening my arms. 🙃 It isn’t going well. This pose was a goal for me for a LONG time and here I am going into easily, staying in it longer, and now working on more parts of it. How far I am come in several months in AMAZING to me. Press play, day two. Excerpts from about 15min of play as to not exhaust the smaller joints. My focus is hips above head instead of feet above head, as slow and steady as possible. I've noticed the moment my hamstrings talk back to me is the moment my elbows begin bend, on the way up or down. Something to be mindful of and take slow as to not fire up my old hamstring injury from last summer. Take note: foam blocks are slippery on wood floors!
