Had a REALLY busy couple of weeks and I'm finally free, wanted to draw the stupid prolapsed ceiling sphincter from Half Life (1) to get back into the swing of art. Now that I have more free time I'll be able to work more on art, and get started on the Sisyphus/Baldwin duo art.
Took a total of 7 hours, came out WAY better than planned.
After playing some "Half Life one", watching @alfabusa's "Half Life: Zero Visocsity" and seeing the ungodly speeds veterans can reach while B-hopping in "Half Life 2", I had an idea about a half life movement shooter.
Enter this currenty unnamed HEV wearing character, who makes use of a pair of Zero Interference Propulsion Boots, and a Pygmy Barnacle grafted to their arm in order to bounce, slide, grapple and generally zoop around the environment. And as one of their arms has an alien lifeform on it their weapons are generally converted for one handed use, a hook mounted on the SPAS-12 allows for stable firing, the barnacle hand does at least have enough dexterity to load in shells.
Honestly that part in HL2:ep1 where you climb out of overfloded elevator shaft full of corpses was more horrifying and scaring than most horror games I've played
