Is It just me or Guts was going to be a real good father?

Father Guts Headcanons

First of all, the revealing of the pregnancy. You two were obviously having things for almost a year when you noticed your period was late and you were not feeling well. You thought that it was just your period coming again but things got worse. You decided to ignore it and keep going.

When you started to notice a change of humor, random cramps and a belly that wouldn't stop growing, you really saw what was happening and decided to tell the only guy who could be the father. Guts.

"Goddamn we can't have a baby. Not now, what are we going to do?" He was desperately trying to think about something to ease the situation but nothing would work. As no one had a little bit of knowledge in medicine, the only way was have this baby and take care of it.

He really noticed he was going to be a father two days later, he felt like his world was going to end. But his life was just about to start.

During the pregnancy, you couldn't move a finger. He did everything to you, he washed your clothes, gave you food, bath, spend a lot of time and made sure you were clean and healthy. If you got up just for a little moment, he would absolutely get mad at you.

He didn't knew how to be a father but as you have had your experience as a babysitter in the city, you told him how to do it properly and he was surprisingly a fast learner.

When you went in labour, he was there. When you were healing from the labour, he was there. When the baby needed to eat, he was there, changing diapers, he was there. All of the care of the world he took.

The kid always looked at his eye, not at his face but just his eye. The only that he had the vision. When he held the newborn baby in his strong arms for the first time, he was shaking, afraid that he would hurt the baby. He just held the baby for 20 seconds and gave it back to you.

When the kid was already a toddler, MOTHERFUCKER ALREADY HELD A KNIFE + tried to stab a little bird.

Guts was a father who had a "violent" way to teach. Always tough but he had his funny days and loved the child with his whole heart. (He loved the child more than you.)

The kid was growing and growing. He fought Bandits and hunted with the kid.

In general he would be a great father. 100/10, deserves a "best dad in the world" t-shirt.

What type of horse do you think each berserk character would be?

This is the best ask ever. I love horses, thankyou.

Just before I go ahead and get into this, just a little disclaimer.

Some horses will not match the hair colours of the characters, or at least not all of them. There are certain colours I think suit each character, some will be based on personality, others more so looks but I'll try to find the balance.

I can do other characters as well just ask

Guts - Criollo

Resilient as fuck, very much known for their hardiness and endurance. Think it goes nicely with guts.

Casca - arabian horse

I had a bit of a picky choosey moment with casca but I think she sort of fits with an arabian horse. Purely because of their personality, They don’t do well with being told what to do, and they will work themselves until they drop, essentially. Definitely don't tolerate unfair treatment, very clever horses though.

Griffith - Andalusian

I mean just look at it and tell me it's not him. Very intelligent for a horse, fast learners.

Judeau - quater horse

generally are quite reliable and not overly spooky. Responsive but otherwise chilled, nice horses. Was gonna go for thr all blonde but I didn't think it fit very well so I found this one

Rickert- standardbred

Sort of like the quater horse but a bit more quieter, shyer slightly, a touch more prone to spooking. Gentle, if you give them a job they can do it.

Pippin- shire horse

Gentle giants, absolute softies. Very hard working though, incredibly strong and quiet, him all over.

Corkus - barb

Hot headed, quite stubborn and very much their own horse if that makes sense. Wouldn't get me on one that's for sure, I wouldn't consider them a beginner horse. But that's just me
